making hickeys. on vi’s abs. thats all.
send me vi thirsts and i'll give u my hand in marriage
kissing down her abs till she's gasping, and she'd make the prettiest noises, wouldn't she? little pitched whines and bitten-off keens at the back of her throat, her fingers spearing through your hair, her hands uncertain of what to do -- whether to press you closer or to pull you away; there's a gasp stuck in her throat, heat coiling in her stomach, a disparate, untamed hunger licking up the length of her spine, tingling down her arms as she does her damned-well best not to flip you both and pin you beneath her.
but a part of her wants this too, yearns for the softness with which you treat her, the back-arching sweetness that collects beneath your tongue as you press kiss after kiss along the defined lines of her abs.
at first, to tease her, to watch them flex and relax, the lines carving into her skin like footprints on a tide-strewn beach. but then, after a while, you'd fallen into the well of her hitching breaths, the darling little moans she tries to tuck into the sides of her cheeks, no matter how often you tell her that you love her noises.
"p-princess -- please --"
her voice is ragged, though you've not moved an inch below her belly button, she already sounds debauched.
"but i'm not doing anything," you tease, grinning as you pillow your cheek against her now hickey-marked abs. she puffs out a breath, carding her fingers through your hair to stroke at your neck.
"if people knew how mean you really were --"
you lean down to nip at the line just above the waistband of her pants, making her hips jump up, her head tipping back as she gasps.
"i'm not mean." though you can't help the smirk that twists your lips as you catch her looking back down at you with those dark, blown-out pupils, her lashes fluttering, gaze half-lidded with want.
"such a pretty little liar," she says, with no malice at all, rubbing a thumb along your cheek. you crinkle your nose at her words, sighing as you finally relent and sit back up, letting her pull you across the length of her body for a long, heart-settling kiss.
"its your fault, you know," you murmur, after she lets you pull away, her hand still at the back of your neck, holding you close. she chuckles, her voice low.
"my fault?"
"yeah. for having such kiss-able abs."
she laughs then, the sound bright as windchimes, and just as sweet.
"right, right," she says, tucking you more comfortably into her side, "it's all my fault, and you're just a sad slave of consequence to my extremely kiss-able abs, right?"
you grin, nuzzling deeper into her embrace, "right. as long as you know it."
vi laughs again, dropping a kiss into the seam of your hair.
"yeah. trust me, pretty girl. i do."

Can I ask for prompt no 21 where r is mapi's younger sisters and both of them are reckless and play for Barcelona. R and mapi are skating despite warning from ingrid and Alexia and r accident while trying to impress a girl falls and break her hand and getting scolded and cared for by ingrid and alexiqla(platonic please)
Not Impressed
mapi x Leon!reader
warnings: broken bone, hospital
~~~
You and Mapi had a few hours off, and while most of the team was either relaxing or grabbing coffee, you two had a different plan in mind.
“Come on, Maps! Let’s go skateboarding,” you urged, holding up your skateboard and flashing a grin at your older sister.
Mapi hesitated, casting a side glance at you. “Are you sure you’re up for it? It’s been a while since we’ve been to the skate park…”
You rolled your eyes playfully. “Of course, I’m sure. It’ll be fine. Just like old times!”
“Fine,” Mapi finally said, giving in to your enthusiasm. “But we’re keeping it chill, okay? No crazy stunts.”
You nodded, your excitement growing as you both headed to the park. The weather was perfect for skating, a warm breeze brushing past as the sound of wheels against concrete filled the air. You felt the familiar thrill of freedom as you skated alongside Mapi, pushing the limits, pulling off little tricks and jumps, and feeling the rush of adrenaline.
As you skated, you couldn’t help but notice a girl standing nearby, watching the skaters with a keen interest. She was cute, and her eyes followed you as you glided by. You felt an urge to show off.
You shot Mapi a grin. “Watch this.”
Mapi raised an eyebrow but didn’t stop you. “Just don’t hurt yourself,” she warned, but you were already lining up for the trick.
It was a simple jump with a twist in the air—a trick you’d perfected back in the day. You didn’t think much of it as you sped up, pushing yourself down the ramp to gain enough momentum. But as you reached the peak of the ramp, you lost your balance mid-air. The twist wasn’t as smooth as you’d imagined, and your board slipped out from under you.
Time slowed as you fell, your body twisting in an awkward position. Your wrist took the full brunt of the impact, and you heard the sickening crack before the searing pain shot up your arm. You couldn’t help but cry out as you rolled onto your side, clutching your wrist.
“Shit!” you hissed, panic rising.
Mapi skated over quickly, eyes wide with concern. “Y/N! Are you okay?” she asked, crouching beside you as you winced in pain.
“I don’t think so,” you groaned, trying to move your hand but immediately pulling back with a sharp breath. “I think I broke it.”
Mapi’s face paled, and she swore under her breath. “I’m calling Ingrid. Don’t move, okay?”
“I don’t want Ingrid to find out,” you muttered, feeling sheepish. “She’s gonna be so mad.”
“I don’t care,” Mapi snapped, already pulling out her phone. “I’m calling her. Stay here.”
You slouched back against the concrete, trying to ignore the pain while Mapi dialed Ingrid’s number. As you waited, you couldn’t help but feel embarrassed. All that just to impress a girl.
Ingrid answered quickly. “Hey, what’s up?”
“I… Ingrid, I messed up. Y/N hurt her wrist skating. It’s bad,” Mapi said, her voice tight with worry.
“What do you mean, bad?” Ingrid replied, her voice thick with concern. “Is she okay?”
“I don’t know. It’s swollen, and she can’t move it. We need to get her to the hospital,” Mapi explained, sounding panicked.
There was a brief pause on the other end of the line, and you could hear Ingrid take a deep breath before she responded. “Okay. Stay with her. Alexia and I are on our way. Don’t let her move it.”
“Got it. Thanks,” Mapi whispered, hanging up.
Mapi knelt down next to you, brushing your hair from your forehead gently. “Ingrid and Alexia are on their way, okay? We’re going to get you to the hospital. Just stay calm.”
You winced, holding your wrist as Mapi helped you up. The pain wasn’t as bad if you kept it still, but you knew it was serious. You waited in silence, trying to push away the embarrassment, but it kept creeping back in.
Within a few minutes, Ingrid and Alexia arrived, parking quickly and rushing over. Ingrid immediately ran to your side, her gaze scanning your swollen wrist before meeting your eyes.
“You alright?” Ingrid asked, her voice soft but concerned.
“I think it’s broken,” you murmured, guilt flooding your chest. “I didn’t mean to… I just wanted to impress that girl over there.” You gestured weakly in the direction of the girl who had been watching earlier, but by then, she was gone.
Alexia rolled her eyes, crossing her arms with a playful but stern expression. “Impress a girl, huh? I think you’ve learned your lesson there, huh?”
You looked down at your hand, feeling like an idiot. “I wasn’t thinking…”
Ingrid shook her head, but there was a small, teasing smile on her lips as she helped you to your feet. “Well, you’re going to the hospital now. Let’s get you sorted out.”
The drive to the hospital was a blur, but Ingrid and Alexia stayed by your side, offering calm reassurance. Mapi was quiet, clearly still worried but trying to keep herself together.
At the hospital, the doctors confirmed that your wrist was indeed broken, and they put you in a cast. You felt a little better knowing you wouldn't need surgery, but the shame still lingered.
As the four of you walked out of the hospital, Alexia shot you a smirk. “Next time you want to impress a girl, maybe try doing something a little less dangerous.”
You grinned sheepishly. “I’ll keep that in mind.”
Mapi wrapped an arm around you, pulling you into her side. “Just don’t do it again. You’re lucky it wasn’t worse.”
“I’m sorry, Mapi,” you muttered. “I didn’t mean to worry you.”
She ruffled your hair, a smile finally breaking through. “It’s okay. Just no more skateboarding for you.”
“I swear I’ll be more careful next time,” you said, chuckling.
Ingrid laughed softly. “And maybe next time, just ask for her number instead of trying to break your wrist. That might work better.”
Tim Drake’s Unhinged Power Move (ft. Marriage, Ra’s al Ghul, and an Uncomfortable Batfamily)
No one really understood how it started. One moment, Tim Drake was Red Robin—tired, overworked, and fueled by caffeine. The next, he was dropping a bombshell in the middle of a routine debrief:
“Oh, by the way, I married Ra’s al Ghul.”
The room froze.
Dick’s dumbbell hit the floor. Jason choked on his beer. Damian’s sword slipped from his hand. Bruce, staring at Tim like he’d grown a second head, barely managed a strangled, “Tim. What did you do?”
Tim took a sip of his coffee, utterly unfazed. “It’s a power move.”
Jason, wheezing with laughter: “Oh my god. You married Ra’s out of spite? Replacement, I’ve never been prouder.”
Tim smirked. “Something like that.”
-----------
It wasn’t really spite.
Ra’s had been obsessed with him for years. The offers of succession, the constant attempts to lure him to the League—it was never-ending. Tim was tired. Tired of being hunted, tired of the games. So, one day, he called Ra’s’ bluff. If Ra’s wanted him so badly, he’d have to deal with all that came with it. Including Tim’s unrelenting need for control.
Ra’s agreed.
And just like that, Tim Drake became the most terrifying in-law the batfamily had ever seen.
-----------
Talia didn’t know what to think at first.
She’d seen it all before—people manipulated by Ra’s, twisted into tools for his will. But Tim? He didn’t play by those rules. He sat at Ra’s’ desk, sifting through League reports like they were Gotham case files. He didn’t bark orders; he made suggestions. And then, the soup happened.
Talia returned from a mission, bruised and exhausted. Tim, barely looking up from his paperwork, said, “Sit. You’re hurt.”
She scoffed. “I don’t need your pity.”
“It’s not pity. It’s soup.”
Talia stared. “Why?”
Tim shrugged. “You looked like you needed it.”
It became a routine. She’d return from missions, and Tim would be there. Not with judgment. Not with manipulation. Just quiet support. He listened. He offered advice. He treated her like a person, not a pawn.
Somehow, they started having regular bonding time. Shopping trips. Quiet conversations on the balcony. Tim became a person Talia could trust—a concept she hadn’t believed possible.
-----------
Damian was losing his mind.
“Drake!” he hissed, cornering Tim in the Batcave. “You’ve… corrupted my mother!”
Tim raised an eyebrow. “Corrupted? She’s thriving.”
“She smiles at you!”
“I’m very charming.”
Damian’s finger trembled as he pointed. “This makes you… my grandmother.”
Tim smirked. “Respect your elders, grandson.”
“I REFUSE!”
-----------
Bruce was spiraling.
“Tim, this is dangerous.”
“Relax,” Tim replied, sipping his coffee. “I’ve got it under control.”
“You married one of our greatest enemies!”
“Think of it as an undercover op,” Tim said, voice calm and unyielding. “I’m playing the long game.”
Jason, from the sidelines, grinned. “He’s playing 4D chess, and you’re still on checkers.”
-----------
The Real Chaos?
Tim didn’t marry Ra’s to make him happy. Hell no. If anything, it made Tim sick to his stomach knowing Ra’s was smug about it. But if putting up with Ra’s al Ghul meant protecting Talia, stabilizing the League, and giving Damian a family that didn’t break apart at the seams?
He’d endure.
Because Talia was healing. Damian’s mother was smiling. And Ra’s… well, Ra’s thought he’d won.
But the real winner? Tim Drake.
Gotham’s most unhinged vigilante had just become the League of Assassins’ terrifying step-parent. And honestly? It suited him.
-----------
Damian, whispering to Alfred: “I need… therapy.” Alfred: “We all do, Master Damian. We all do.”
HEART OF A WOMAN. … and she gives me all her trust and i’m abusing it right now.
06, CHAPTER SIX. SOMEBODY ELSE’S GIRL (MINE FIRST).
ju speaks. happy late thanksgiving if you celebrate! this is the quickest i’ve ever finished a chapter and i think it’s because i switched between their views, so it’s also a little long. but let me know your thoughts cauuuuse… it’s all mess from here. pairing. wnba!paige bueckers x fem!oc. warnings. sexual innuendos, sappy paige.
present day, june 2025.
practice had just ended, a longer one than usual might i add. most of the team had trickled out, grabbed their stuff and hit the showers. i lingered near the bench with maya, who had allegedly been here under some important circumstance, but i just think she wanted to see me. we haven’t hung out much recently.
she’d been talking my ear off about the game tomorrow, but i wasn’t fully listening. my focus? split—like always. out of the corner of my eye, nai walked in, hair tied back, a stack of papers in her hand. she didn’t look over here, probably didn’t even realize i was in the gym. what was she here for?
maya nudged me, temporarily snapping me out of it. “you hear me?” she asked, tilting her head.
“uh, yeah,” i lied, blinking as i turned back to her. “somethin’ about their zone defense, right?”
maya rolled her eyes. “you’re hopeless,” she said, but she was laughing.
i chuckled too, stroking a hand over my chin. my eyes drifted back to nai. she’d settled near the scorer’s table, flipping through the papers like whatever she was working on was life or death. she’s more locked in for the game than i am.
“yo, nai!” i called, my voice echoing through the quiet of the empty gym.
she glanced up, startled, her brows furrowing slightly before she turned her attention toward me. “what?” she asked. her tone was neutral, but not exactly inviting.
“come here for a sec,” i said, leaning back against the bench, spreading my legs out, my arms draped over the sides like i wasn’t hanging on her reaction. maya’s eyes followed over to me, her smirk growing, but she didn’t say a word.
nai hesitated, her lips pressing into a thin line before she exhaled sharply, setting the papers down on the table. she walked over, her sneakers squeaking faintly on the court. she wasn’t in any rush, but the way her eyes stayed locked on me, i knew she was curious.
“what do you need, bueckers?” she asked, stopping just far enough to keep some space between us. her arms crossed over her chest, and i couldn’t help but notice the way her forearms flexed slightly with the movement.
“relax, i ain’t gonna bite,” i teased, tilting my head with a grin. “wanted to ask if you saw the film on the liberty’s screens. got it on my phone—figured you might have some notes since, you know, you’re always prepared.”
her eyes narrowed, but she’s definitely amused, biting back a smile. “you’re only asking me because you didn’t do your homework, huh?”
i shrugged, unbothered. “maybe.”
maya laughed beside me, chiming in, “at least she’s honest.”
nai rolled her eyes but stepped closer, her gaze flicking between me and maya. she held her hand out. “fine. show me the video.”
“thought you’d never ask,” i said, pulling out my phone. my thumb hovered over the screen as i unlocked it, my stomach flipping briefly as the lock screen flashed. thankfully, i’d changed it from the polaroids this morning, though the thought of it, thought of her, still made my chest tighten. in a good way.
i tapped the screen, pulling up the clip, and held it out to her. “here,” i said. “maya and i were just talking about it.” it’s a breakdown of their off-ball movement—mostly betnijah and sabrina setting those high screens.
nai leaned in slightly, her shoulder brushing mine as she took the phone. i parted my lips, forcing my focus onto the video.
“you weren’t talking about this,” she murmured, a faint smirk tugging at her lips as she glanced at maya.
maya snickered, leaning forward to watch over nai’s shoulder. “caught us. but it’s relevant.”
i watched them both for a second, my eyes settling over nai longer than i should’ve let it. she was so close, close enough that her shampoo—something clean and floral—filled my nose.
her fingers tapped the screen as she rewound the clip. “see this?” she said, pointing to a sequence where sabrina set a screen to free betnijah for a backdoor cut. “they do this every time the ball swings weak-side. if you’re late, it’s an automatic bucket.”
“makes sense,” maya murmured, nodding along.
the video played on, but it was just noise to me. nai shifted again, and my eyes dropped to the curve of her jaw, the faint flush on her cheeks that was always there, down to the sliver of skin her button-up gave me a show of when she crouched down, her hips—
“paige,” nai said suddenly, snapping me out of my daze. God, i’ve been having a lot of those. it was a stern say of my name, and i blinked, realizing i hadn’t heard a word she’d said.
“huh?” i asked.
she sighed, handing the phone back. “i said, they’re predictable, but you have to be locked in. no gambling—you’ll get caught overplaying on those screens.”
“oh. yeah, for sure,” i replied quickly, slipping my phone back into my pocket. “locked in. got it.” my hands found the hem of my shorts, fidgeting with the fabric just to do something.
maya raised a brow, glancing between us. “you good, paige?”
“always,” i replied, shooting her a grin as i scrunched my face up, like the question was absurd. i caught the knowing (or the i think i know) look she shot nai. i’m terrible at not being obvious.
nai shook her head, muttering something under her breath before heading back to the scorer’s table.
i need to talk to maya.
game day was different. they always started early for me, the arena was quieter than i liked, but now the whole team was here. sneakers squeaked against the polished court, basketballs bounced rhythmically, and the team’s warmup playlist blasted from the speakers. but me? i was posted up at the scorer’s table, laptop open and notes scattered around me, running through every last detail of game day operations.
or trying to, anyway. a slightly sweaty paige in her jersey just a few feet away from me was a very distracting sight.
next to me, maya leaned back in her chair, legs crossed over each other like she didn’t have a care in the world. she’d been going back and forth between scrolling on her phone and making snarky comments about my “game face,” which, according to her, was “way too intense for someone who isn’t even playing.”
“you know it’s not that serious, right?” she teased, snapping me out of my focus as she nudged my half-empty in-n-out cup closer to me.
“it is that serious,” i muttered, grabbing the cup without thinking and taking a sip. the straw gurgled, and i frowned, realizing there was barely a drop of my chocolate milkshake left.
maya grinned. “right. because if the scoreboard malfunctions, the world’s ending.”
i rolled my eyes, setting the cup down and returning to my notes. “not all of us can just show up to work and look pretty, maya.”
“first of all, i do a lot more than look pretty,” she shot back, feigning offense. “i contribute to team morale.”
i snorted, finally glancing her way. “uh-huh. is that what we’re calling it now?”
she kept her smile, leaning back in her chair. “yup. and speaking of morale… i gotta ask you something.”
i paused, fingers hovering over the keyboard. maya’s tone had shifted—just slightly—but enough to make me wonder. “what’s up?”
she hesitated for half a second, which was already suspicious. maya didn’t do hesitation. “it’s about paige.”
my throat went dry, and i reached for the cup again, even though i knew it was empty. i needed something to do, anything to buy myself a second to think.
“what about her?”
“i’m just saying,” she starts, sitting up straight now. “you two are tight, right?” she asked, her head tilting as she studied me. “she talks to you a lot.”
tight? not exactly the word i’d use, but i nodded anyway. “yeah, i guess.”
maya leaned forward, resting her elbows on her knees. “she’s just… hard to read sometimes, you know? one minute, she’s all chill, the next, she’s pulling away. i can’t tell if she’s playing hard to get or if she’s just like that.”
shit. of course maya was asking about paige. of course she’d come to me, thinking i had some kind of insight. of course maya was trying to lock her down. she was older, probably didn’t have time for whatever game paige was throwing. she wanted a relationship. i’m sure if she knew what paige and i’s relationship was like, she’d call us childish. i wouldn’t disagree.
i swallowed, nodding slowly as if i was carefully considering her words, but my brain was going a mile a minute. why’s she pulling away from you? probably because she was tangled up in my sheets just last night. i’m pretty sure a good number of her workout clothes are on my floor. the towel she’s been using the past couple of days hanging up in my bathroom. i forced the thought away, along with the guilt that came with it.
“i mean, yeah, she talks to me, but…” my voice trailed off, unsure how to finish the sentence without giving myself away. “i think she’s just busy with the season,” i redirect.
maya raised an eyebrow, more to herself. “it seems like she’s got time for everyone else. it’s me she’s dodging.”
everyone else. me? what lies has paige been feeding her?
my stomach churned. i hated this. i hated that she was asking me these questions, hated that i didn’t have an honest answer for her. most of all, i hated that i could feel her suspicion growing with every passing second.
i forced a tight smile, my fingers idly fidgeting with the straw in my cup. “paige isn’t really the relationship type,” i said, hoping that would satisfy her.
maya laughed dryly, shaking her head. “yeah, i’m starting to figure that out. but damn, i like her, nai. she’s just—” she paused, letting out a small sigh. fuck. “she’s different.”
i couldn’t help it—the words slipped out before i could stop them. i wanted to know too. know if she makes her feel the same way. “different how?”
her eyes softened as she smiled a little. i knew she was looking at paige. i follow her eye line, and there she is. stretching while she bites back a laugh at her own joke. “i don’t know. she’s got that… thing. she’s fun, she’s confident, she makes you feel like you’re the only one she’s paying attention to when you’re with her.”
yeah, and that’s exactly the problem, i thought bitterly. because wasn’t just paying attention to maya. she wasn’t just fun and confident with maya.
i nodded again, biting the inside of my cheek to keep from saying anything else. “i get it.” and i did. i got it more than she knew.
“do you, though?” maya asked, her tone skeptical as she studied me again. “you’re not acting like someone who gets it.”
i forced a laugh. “i’m just tired,” i lied, standing up and grabbing my laptop. “long morning.”
maya just watched me for a moment, then nodded, leaning back in her chair again. “alright, well, if you hear anything…” she let the sentence hang in the air, her meaning clear.
i just gave her a noncommittal shrug, pretending to focus on packing up my stuff.
paige needs to talk to maya.
it’s our second game against the liberty. the team’s been stressed about it all morning, but i can’t say i feel the same. muffled voices and footsteps echoed in the locker room, but i couldn’t focus on any of it. not the game plan, not the liberty, not even fucking maya for christ’s sake.
the only thing i could focus on was nai, pinned against the row of lockers, her lips pressed feverishly against mine like the game had already started and she was playing to win. my jersey stuck to my skin, damp from warmups, but i didn’t care. my arms flexed as i braced them on either side of her, caging her in, every breath i took mingling with hers in the secluded space near the showers. nobody should be coming back here, catching us. it’s why i chose it.
“you,” i murmured against her lips, one hand sliding down to her hip and gripping it like it was my lifeline. my other hand wrapped gently around her neck, pulling her closer. “you’re drivin’ me crazy, nai. you know that?”
her laugh was breathless, her hands trailing up under the jersey she’d untucked, nails scraping against my stomach and making me shudder. “you started it,” she whispered, her lips brushing over mine, teasing me.
i didn’t answer, couldn’t. i just leaned in and kissed her again, deeper this time, my tongue sliding in her mouth in a way that made me forget we were just minutes away from tip-off. she tasted like the cherry lip balm she always wore, and it was doing something to me, making my heart race faster than the pregame drills ever could.
she pulled back slightly, her breath hot against my cheek. “paige,” she murmured, a warning tone in her voice like we should stop. but her hands stayed right where they were, gripping the waistband of my shorts like she couldn’t let go.
“what?” i asked, furrowing my brows. my lips trailed down her jaw, then lower, brushing against the curve of her neck. “say it.”
“we shouldn’t—” she started, but i cut her off with another kiss, silencing whatever logic she was about to throw my way.
“don’t care,” i said, pulling back just enough to look at her. my thumb brushed against her cheek, over the faint blush forming from the warmth of the room. “i don’t care, nai. you gotta know that by now.”
her eyes searched mine, and for a second, i thought she was about to tell me to stop. but then her lips crashed into mine again, and i grinned cockily.
i couldn’t stop. i didn’t want to. she had this pull on me, always had, and every time we found our way back to each other like this, it only made it harder to let go.
i didn’t want to let go anymore.
i was thinking straight now—for the first time in a minute, actually thinking. she drove me crazy in every way possible, just like i’d said, but it wasn’t just that. it wasn’t just the way she kissed me or the way she looked at me like she’d love me like this in every lifetime. it was her, all of her. the fire, the attitude, the way she cared so much about the smallest things. the way she called me out when i was slacking but never let me fall too far. she wasn’t perfect, but damn, she was perfect for me.
i’d tried moving on, tried ignoring it, tried putting someone else in her place a million times before, but nothing worked. nobody was her. nobody ever could be.
and maybe that made me selfish. maybe it wasn’t fair to her, not when i kept coming back like this, asking for pieces of her without offering anything steady in return. but for once, i didn’t want to pretend.
her breath hitched as i kissed her deeper, tilting my head into it, and i felt my chest tighten. this wasn’t just hooking up. it wasn’t just history or habit or whatever excuse i used to tell myself. “i love you,” i breathed against her lips, my hand tightening around her hip. “i’m serious, nai. i love you. i don’t wanna keep sneakin’ around like this. i wanna be with you—for real.”
her eyes widened. she looked like she might push me away, laugh it off, tell me i was lying. but she didn’t. she just stared at me, her lips parted, her breath shaky.
“paige…” she started, her voice soft, uncertain as she brought her hands up to my shoulders.
i leaned my forehead against hers, my hands moving to cup her face. “nah, don’t ‘paige’ me,” i said, licking my lips, trying to find the right words. “you gotta let me say this. i want you, baby. only you. i’ll figure it out—i’ll make it work. just… let me.”
silence. her hands stayed on me, fingers brushing against the collar of my jersey. i looked into her eyes, and i knew i was laid bare. no bravado, no jokes, no quick quips to deflect. just me, standing there, begging without words. let me. please let me.
the sound of a buzzer echoed through the hallway, signaling it was time to hit the court. i didn’t move, didn’t pull away. not until she gave me an answer. not until i knew.
“you don’t get to do this now.”
“why not?”
“because it’s game day,” she countered, sternly mothering me in the way i loved, and the flash of vulnerability in her eyes nearly knocked the air out of my lungs. she was quiet for a moment too long, like she was wrestling with herself, with me, with us.
finally, she exhaled, her hands smoothing down my sides. “go win it, p. we’ll… talk later.”
the words were a promise and a deflection all at once, and we both knew it. my chest ached, but i nodded, biting back the urge to push for more, to beg for her to meet me where i was.
i stood there for a moment longer, just watching her, memorizing the way she looked at me—like she was caught somewhere between wanting me and pushing me away for the last time.
the sound of footsteps in the hallway broke the moment, and i sighed, dragging a hand over my face. leaning down, i pressed a kiss to her forehead, inhaling the faint scent of her hair like it was enough to carry me through the next two hours.
“later,” i echoed, and i left the locker room without another word.
halftime ends, and the buzzer sounds, pulling me and everyone else back into the game. i’ve been occupied—timing, logistics, making sure everything’s in place for the team. it’s hectic, and i’ve barely had time to focus on the game itself. i catch paige, bouncing on the balls of her feet, all amped up as she waits to get checked in. i stretch my legs out on the bench, trying to shake off the restlessness that’s been following me around all day.
just get through the game. you can think about what this means after.
my thoughts are interrupted when i see maya making her way back from the tunnel. she strolls across the court, looking like she’s had a moment to herself, like she hasn’t been gone for the entire fifteen minutes of halftime. i barely even notice her approach until she’s right next to me, her posture a little different, almost like she’s holding something back.
i look up from my clipboard, following her as she sits down next to me. “hey, how was your half?” i ask.
“good. just needed a minute.”
she’s not making eye contact, and her voice carries this weird undertone, like she’s working through something in her head. i furrow my eyebrows, chuckling. “that’s weirdly ominous.”
she bites her lip. “sorry. i just wanted to apologize for being weird earlier.”
i glance at her, trying to gauge where her head’s at. “uh… it’s cool. you were just concerned.” the way she phrased it—the way she’s acting…
there’s a moment of silence before she speaks. “i just… i thought something was going on with you and paige.” she pauses, looking me dead in the eyes. she’s smiling a bit. “but she assured me there was nothing going on. said she wants to move forward with me.”
i blink, glancing at the court. i can’t look her in the eye. i’m back to busying myself with my clipboard. “she said that?” my voice feels flat, distant, like i’m hearing it through a fog.
this had to have been just now, right? my mind whirls for a second. she told maya that she wants to move forward with her? but then why did she tell me—me—in the locker room that she loved me? was maya just blowing her words out of proportion?
maya fidgets slightly, her fingers tapping against her leg as she looks away, grinning like this is some kind of revelation she’s been waiting for. “yeah,” she replies, eyes flickering back to my occupied ones. “i’m sorry for misreading it. all i needed to do was ask her!”
and then she laughs. she fucking laughs.
i chew on that for a moment. the sound of it feels like a slap to the face. it’s not a real laugh, not one that feels genuine or free. it’s almost… rehearsed, like she’s trying to convince herself—or me—that everything’s fine, that there’s nothing more to this. that paige just straightened it all out.
the frustration bubbles up inside me, but i keep it contained, gripping the edge of my clipboard like it’s the only thing anchoring me to reality. i don’t know what to say to that, or if i even can say anything. all i can think about is what happened in the locker room, how paige looked at me, how she said the words that felt like they meant everything but might have meant nothing at all.
she said she loved me. it was the first time i’d heard it from her in awhile where it felt like she actually meant it. and now maya’s telling me that paige is just moving forward with her? that she’s already decided?
suddenly the loudness of the gym is tuned out, and i can’t focus on anything. i start to open my mouth to excuse myself, but something catches my eye. my gaze trails down, taking in the rest of her appearance—her shirt a little wrinkled, her hair not quite as perfectly styled as usual. it hits me all at once, like a punch to the gut.
i force myself to look back at her face, trying to keep my expression steady. “maya,” i say slowly, voice quiet, “your jeans… are unzipped.”
she freezes, her eyes wide for a split second before she quickly pulls at the zipper, trying to cover it up. but the damage is done.
it was easier to deny before. easier if i hadn’t caught that small detail—the one she didn’t think i’d see.
“i’m gonna head out.”
𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐲: Natasha is your new bodyguard, who’s not willing to put up with any of your bullshit
𝐀/𝐍: we hit 2000 followers so I got something special planned after kinktober
𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 | 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 | 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧e
Natasha kept her Rey Bens on while she waited outside the college you were attending, you were practically fresh meat in her eyes with your 19 years of age. She would love to leave all this behind and settle down alone somewhere in the wilderness. But Natasha needed your dear daddy's money first, so she was stuck as a glorified babysitter.
She heard the passenger door slam shut when you entered on your goddamn phone like always. "I thought the driver was gonna pick me up" She scoffed, and asked himself if school uniforms always looked so... slutty "Gotta take up with me" She murmured watching you from the corner of her eye, she knew you why your last bodyguard was fired and it was getting harder by the minute not to step in his footsteps
You didn’t honour her another glance as you stared into the passing trees and cars which flashed by your eyes as he drove down the streets. Which greatly annoyed Natasha, you weren’t supposed to ignore her like that, like she didn’t even exist to you. She wanted you to look at her with those big doe eyes, while you begged her for more.
“You’re just gonna stare out the window like that?” Natasha scoffed but still got no reaction from you. “Take that damn things out-“ She reached over and before you could even register she had pulled it out your ear, throwing it in the backseat.
“They were expensive” you snapped “I don’t fucking care now stop throwing a damn tantrum and relax” She murmured out her knuckles turning white by how hard she was gripping the damn wheel. How she would love to fuck that damn attitude out of you. “Dick” I mumbled under your breath just quite enough for Natasha to overhear.
“You’re just gonna sit here and pout like a brat?” She asked, not getting an answer from you. “If you behave like one maybe I should just lay you over my knee and give you what brats deserve” She spat and you could clearly see the anger in her eyes.
“Oh kinky” Your voice was addictive as you teased the older woman “Ist that an invitation?” You could practically see the wheels turning in her brain as she was thinking what to make of that statement.
Without another word she pulled into an empty park deck and searched for the most desolate place in it. When the engine shut off the room was filled with uncomfortable silence. “Get your damn ass in the back I’m teaching you a lesson” She murmured and you listened.
She put you over her lap, her hands massaging the flesh of your ass. “You’re such a damn brat” Natasha had to laugh “A damn slut too. Oh what would your dear old man say if he saw you like that” She teased knowing her words would get you.
But you could only whimper when her hands hitched your skirt up to reveal some pretty pink panties. “I’m sorry” You whined hoping she’d go easy on you now “You’re only sorry because I called you out on your bullshit”
“You’re gonna count each spank, understood” Natasha asked, her voice filled with mockery. You nodded fast to get it over with in hopes she would maybe touch you more sensually after. The first slap was almost careful to test water with you, but it still made you yelp. “O- one” you stuttered gripping her leg harder.
Another smack this time harder “two” She had to smile at your desperate sounds “You’re so cute making those sounds I almost have pity for you” She smirked and you heard how she was savoring this moment. It was satisfying to finally show your place. She adjusted your panties over your cheeks again, her hands cold against your hot flesh. “Such a pretty girl” She cooed, reaching out for your hair to pull your head up “You're a pretty girl isn’t that right?” You moaned out at the word feeling your panties starting to wet “I’m your pretty girl”
By the tenth smack she had brought you to tears, your massacre running down your cheeks and it made Natasha just all the more desperate for a taste. “Learned your lesson baby?” she cooed her hands rubbing over your sensitive skin. You nod wiping the tears from the corners of your eyes. Natashas strong hands pulled you up to strangle her lap. “You want a reward now, don’t you baby girl” She sweetly kissed your neck.
“Yes” You whispered, hiding your face in her shoulder. You could make out sounds of her jeans opening to reveal her gritty strap “your so wet baby” she hushed pulling your panties to the side “all for you” Natasha hummed satisfied with your answer, she guided you down on her strap only after the tip you were already clinging to her shoulders for dear life. “Aw” She mocked “Is my cock to big for your little pussy” You nodded tears staining your shirt “then you’ll have to learn to take it”
She guided you further down her strap, you couldn’t help but moan at her intrusion. Once you were bottomed out by the older woman you could swear you’d feel her at your cervix. You started to move up and down her strap, the bouncing making your breaths giggle in her face as licked over your perky nipples. You cried out with each move of your hips, wishing that the older women would just help you.
But she was busy worshipping your chest, peppering light kisses over your soft skin as she listened to the sweet melody of your moans. “Such a good girl” She whispered, rubbing her thumbs over your sensitive nipples, making you squeak.She noticed your tired expression as you started to feel the burn in your muscles , you simply weren’t used to having to work for your pleasure.
“You’re you” You cried, after what felt like an eternity for your legs with still nothing to make up for. Her hands went to your waist keeping it grounded, which also made you release a sound of disagreement. “Such a brat” She chuckled.
“You can’t even make yourself cum huh? Guess you’re so dumbed down you need my help with everything” She spat guiding your hips at a much faster pace. She vigorously fucked into your puffy pussy making you squeal like an abused puppy.
“Fucking slut got what she fucking wanted huh.” She grabbed your hair pulling it back “You gonna cum whore? Gonna cum on my cock like a bitch?” You cried out once more, loving the way she treated you. “Fuck yes” She chuckled still moving you at a fast pace, the harness felt so good against her clit. “Yeah cum on my cock”
With a few more harsh fucks you came over her lap falling into her embrace. “Good girl” She whispered, her hands rubbing you back. “Did I hurt you baby?” You shook her head recovering from your orgasm. “No, I’m fine… but you didn’t cum” She chuckled “I’m alright, the vision of you was enough for me, but we have to get going before your daddy fires me because we’re so late”
A/N: Sevika makes my brain melt.
It was very rare for Sevika to get vacation days. Maybe a few days a year where that she can have all to herself. When you can have her all to herself all day, with her having to run off on you.
Usually you spend those days in Zaun, but this year Sevika wanted to make it feel a little more special. A weekend on the western coast of Valoran seemed like a good spot. So you packed your bags, looking forward to a relaxing weekend with your girlfriend.
Sevika was in a really good mood all throughout, and that only seemed to increase once you arrived on the beach.
First off, yes the water looked nice and cool but you could hardly focus on that when you had Sevika doing stretches in her bathing suit right in front of you. The way it cupped and hugged her curves just right, leaving something to the imagination for others while also looking like a perfectly packaged gift for you, forget the sea, you wanted to drown yourself in her.
Judging by the look she was giving you she had the exact same idea about you.
"You know you've seen me naked before right? You don't have to gawk at me like that?" You subtly crossed your arms over your chest, however you didn't take your eyes off Sevika's body.
She seemed to enjoy the attention though, sitting down on the beach towel and stretching her arms, making her arm and shoulder muscles flex under the light sheen of sweat and sun.
"Come here sweet stuff, I gotta get some of that sunscreen on you. I don't want you to burn up." She patted the spot on the towel next to her.
It was honestly so sweet how much she cared for you, "What would your lackies say if they knew how much of a softie you are?"
"I'm soft?" Sevika smirked and quirked her eyebrow as she watched you lay on your stomach, "I still see bruises on your body that say otherwise. Like here." She trailed her metal finger over your hip, "Here." Across your right ass cheek, "Here." You clamp a hand over your mouth to stifle a moan as you feel both her hands on your inner thighs. "Careful babe, you don't want to attract unwanted attention now do you?"
"Then stop doing that. For now." You couldn't keep your cheeks from heating up just a little.
"Oh? Then how am I gonna get the sunscreen on you?" You inhale sharply as Sevika pulls on one of the strings and unties the top. For a moment she just keeps her hand on your back, lightly loving it up and down. You almost relax completely only to be startled as you feel her straddle your legs, "To hide you from view." Her words tickle the back of your neck, goosebumps appearing along your arms and legs from the pleasant shivers.
"Is that really what you're doing? All you're doing?" You smile as you fold your arms under your head and melt into Sevika's touch, feeling the heat of her skin against yours, the coolness of the sunscreen quickly done away with under her hand.
Her lips press against your shoulder, "Of course." Her voice drops just a little, "I've noticed multiple people eyeing you since we arrived. You're hot stuff babe."
"Why thank you. I can say the same about you." You arch your back a little, which was a little bit of a mistake as Sevika took that opportunity to slip her hand around the front, cupping just under your breast. Your surprises yelp was a reward of its own, and so was the one you let out when she moved her hand away, proceeding like nothing happened. "Jerk."
"Oh you love it." You huff and try to relax again, letting Sevika finish up. Luckily there are no more surprises throughout it and you're on the verge of falling asleep. The warmth of the sun, the slight breeze, and the comforting weight of Sevika's body as well as her hand and the occasional touch of her lips, it's all way too comfortable for you. "Done."
You groan, she has to be doing that intentionally. It's torture.
"Thanks." There's not a lot of thankfulness in your tone as you shrug her off and tie the top back into place. Sevika only chuckles upon seeing your pouty face.
"Not that type of beach." She winks, "We could go if you want."
"Nah." Now it's your turn to be a little possessive. You straddle her lap and raise yourself up so you can look down at her, your arms draped across her shoulders, "I don't like other people seeing you naked. Certain parts are for my eyes only."
"Really now?" Sevika leans in, eyes locking on your lips. You lick your lips, waiting, locked on her own. "Then maybe we should get in the water so we can go to the bedroom quicker." You giggle as she picks you up with one arm, the mechanical one on your hip to keep you balanced.
"I can get behind that." You kiss the purple lines on her cheek.
Sevika grins wolfishly, "No. that's gonna be me when I get you behind closed doors." She locks her lips with yours, give you a brief taste of what's to come later. For now though, you can enjoy the cool water of the sea. After what she just told you, a little cooling down is just what you need.
imagine rafe meeting your family on thanksgiving!
warnings - nervous rafe, fluff, condescending family members, not proofread!
a/n - hope you all have a warm and safe thanksgiving! <3 if you don’t celebrate I hope you have a fantastic day regardless! hope yall accept this as a apology for the last rafe angst :(
“you warm? I know you’re not that used to the cold, you can turn the heat up if you want.” you say, eyes shifting back to the road. “we’re almost there anyways, i’m so excited for you to meet them…rafe? you okay?”
your boyfriend was shivering like a wet dog. not only was he freezing from the cold temperatures, his nervousness was becoming apparent.
you arrive at your grandma’s house, pulling right up into the driveway. the weather predicted a snowstorm happening later this evening, so you wanted to arrive before the roads get slippery.
you look towards rafe, taking his hands in yours. “they’ll love you, I promise.” you peck his lips, giving him a sweet smile. “if you wanna get on their good side fast, carry in the food and help a little in the kitchen, ‘kay?”
following your words, rafe carries in the pumpkin pie. your grandmother gives you a tight bear hug, and you introduce rafe to her. she smiles and takes the pumpkin pie from his hands, setting it in the fridge.
you see rafe pick at his hands. knowing that he’s still nervous, you whisper to him, “you’re doing amazing, baby.” he whispers back, response having you hold in your laughter, “can I sit on the couch or do I have to sit on the floor?” after failing to stifle your giggle you reply, “one of the bedrooms. we can lay down and chill there for awhile. c’mon.” you drag him down the hallway and into one of the rooms. you close the door, dust the bed, and gesture for rafe to sit down with you.
“you’re so tense. here,” you shuffle on the bed, kneeling behind rafe and kneading his shoulders. his tense muscles relax instantly, and he softly sighs. “its jus’ that my family was never this close with one another, and you have such a big one. it feels new.” you hum, continuing to massage his back, “I understand, but you know I wanted you to meet them for a reason, right? I want you to be a part of my family, I want you to feel welcomed.” you kiss him on the cheek before bouncing off the bed, sitting next to him and leaning your head on his shoulder. “we can stay in the room for now, but the rest of my family is gonna come soon. you have absolutely nothing to worry about, i’m here.”
once you heard more voices bleed into the room, you knew the party had started. “you ready?” “no.” rafe has a slight pout on his lips. “I did not spend all of our time in this room looking up motivational posters for you to say no. we’re going.” he groans, dragging a hand down his face.
everyone’s eyes are on the two of you. you say hi to your relatives and introduce rafe along the way. so far, they’re all liking him, and it’s boosting rafe’s ego.
“don’t get too cocky now. I haven’t said hi to my condescending aunts.” his smile falters. as you walk towards the back of the house, you put on a fake smile as you politely say hi, and try to strike up a conversation with them.
as expected, they ask who you brought over. “my boyfriend!” rafe’s smile returns on his face, but now it was your turn to frown. “boyfriend, huh? didn’t think you had it in you. you’ve got quite the catch there, hope he doesn’t get tired of you.” one of the chuckle, sipping on her white wine afterwards. she then leans toward rafe, “she can be very exhausting at times.” your frown deepens, and you quickly excuse you and rafe from the conversation.
you puff your cheeks as you try and hold back tears, rafe kissing your cheeks. “that was…you okay?” you nod, “yeah, yeah. every year they do that. they just…they never grew out of their high school mean girl phase. it’s fine. I usually avoid them anyways. you still nervous?” he shakes his head, soft smile adorning his face. “good, ‘cus my grandma wants you to help her with something.” you point over his shoulder, your grandma waving rafe over.
as dinner went on, rafe had gotten more comfortable talking. his posture relaxed, and his words weren’t as that calculated anymore.
“c’mon, just one song!” one of your uncles drunkenly ask rafe. he shakes his head, declining politely, “I don’t sing!” you smile at the cute interaction, wanting to have your own fun and tease your boyfriend. “i’ll sing with him!”
three karaoke songs later, you both sneak off into the restroom, wanting to cool down from the chaos. “don’t ever make me sing again, y/n.” you giggle, wrapping your arms around him, pulling him in for a hug. “you’re amazing, you know that?” he nods, tightening his grip around your torso and swaying you around with the music playing in the background.
the house got less and less crowded, everyone was starting to go home, you were about to as well. you were at the front entrance when your grandma stopped you, giving you one last kiss on the cheek. unexpectedly, your eyes widened as she gave rafe a kiss on the cheek as well, wanting the two of you to come back as soon as possible.
┆𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫! 𝐄𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐦𝐬 𝐗 𝐍𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐟𝐞! 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 ┆
Summary: Ellie and his wife in their daily lives, work, relationship, romance, love, love, and some jealousy of each other. Cw: Ellie Williams Officer x nurse wife, cursing, swearing, canon violence, Ellie very much in love with his wife (she's very much in love with you), blood, etc.
જ Ellie didn't really expect to become a police officer, truth be told in college she was even a dealer which still, to this day amuses his wife and they met in high school when she was just starting to have contact with a trusted supplier, and ended up being a couple when you hid his merchandise in your cosmetic bag, they got along better in college.
¦¦ Ellie really couldn't show herself like that to her friends Jesse or Dina, they were both extremely stressed out and not to be outdone a pregnancy in the home stretch of college was even worse, so she found herself in her van with cigarette smoke in the air and the stressful feeling under her skin, simmering, eating everything inside and rising through her veins. It was like being on fire and feeling wet, it was strange.
I was spiraling down.
“Do you want to get out of exposing your thesis to the jury by drowning yourself in pot smoke?” he hears the voice, your voice soft and sweet, a gentle mocking twist in the tone.
Ellie sighs, letting the smoke go before she rolls down the window with the door handle, and that's when she sees it, it really is a lot of fucking smoke. But he unlatches the doors letting her in.
“Something like that Do you think they'll give my certificate to Joel if I die?” she questions, taking a puff on the cigarette she had forged hours ago.
“Yeah, I don't think so and Joel would be able to bring you back from the dead by the hair by force.”
She can only laugh as she listens to him, it's a truth and she can imagine Joel doing it or trying to and with how stubborn he was, it might as well be a truth and she can only laugh, because if she thought any more she would cry.
“Yeah, that sounds very daddy” she says, trying to keep her voice from breaking but it's useless and when you're next to her, when she can smell the sweet, clean scent of your perfume that strips her naked, violates her in a way that should be illegal and maybe it's part of your chosen career, the one where you were always making seams in that strange latez but it doesn't feel right, it feels like it's going to break, that it's going to explode and the seams couldn't contain it ”Sometimes, s-sometimes you want to drop everything? “she asks, because that question is stuck in her throat with such force that she wants to vomit and the marijuana can barely relax her.
“Sometimes yes, but nursing really excites me even though sometimes I feel gross, and putrid after my internship where doctors talk to me like I'm stupid, but I like it”
“sounds like you like poison” she says, almost wanting to laugh but everything breaks down and she just hides her face in her hands, on the steering wheel ”I-I just can't, I can't anymore and it's stupid, I worked so hard for this shitty career and in the end I can't, I can't anymore, damn it I can't anymore and it's ridiculous because I like this damn career but, but fuck I can't complete it, submit the thesis, do the whole process…it terrifies me so much, I don't want this”
And that night, of smoke, tears, promises, kisses and hugs, Ellie didn't submit the thesis and entered police training school, having the courage to tell Joel. In the end communication was the key, who knew? ¦¦
જ The training at the police school was exhausting but he felt good and he found pleasure in the job, had perfect results and ended up in a permanent position. It was tiring, exhausting and he hated the uniform the first few days but now he got the hang of it and maybe because he wore it a good part of his days (not influenced by his wife who loved to see her in uniform, of course not).
જ If Joel and his friends still found it funny that it was official, well, he just laughed and played along. Because it was funny, in college he had so many felonies that he could end up in jail or some charges at least, but hey luck was on his side.
જ His shifts were grueling, yes and he encountered so many louts on his shifts, what he wanted to disfigure their faces with punches and once in a while he could do it only with certain terms in between, was it ethical? Not so much, he enjoyed it? Very much.
જ Her married life started when her girlfriend graduated from her major and she was still in police training school. He cried when he saw his girlfriend receive her degree? No one could prove it. And of course he tried his best to be able to take her to a fancy restaurant but his girlfriend, being his girlfriend would have none of it and they ended up having dinner at a fast food restaurant, degree papers on the table and his next schedule in mind with red knuckles from training.
¦¦ Ellie really wanted to take his girlfriend to a fancy restaurant, the kind where they put a napkin on her lap and the prices were not listed on the menu, but well he was really looking forward to it.
“I could take you to that expensive restaurant babe” he grumbles with a mouth full of fries, outside it's night and the folder with the university emblem on the table even next to the food trays ‘let yourself be pampered, don't be bad you finished your degree and a specialization, you deserve it’.
“well yes, but I want burgers and here was our first date, I decide where to eat on my graduation Els” she says with a sweet smile, holding the glass of lemon-lime soda, before stealing a kiss from Ellie leaving the taste of the soda ”but I thank you for going out of your way for it, I love you but eating a crushed sandwich on the sidewalk for me would be the ideal date”
“you're cheesy” replies Ellie, feeling her cheeks flush and rubs her nose nervously, seeing how her girlfriend even eating looks beautiful and should be illegal ”but you're my cheesy”
“exactly, officer Williams” she purrs kissing Ellie's cheek smiling ”with the uniform you sure will look beautiful.”
Ellie knew the dinner was the best of her life, with extra burgers and fries, a nursing degree with major on the table and the uniform in her truck. ¦¦
જ Officer Ellie Williams! Whose daily routine starts early, as she is an early riser and is the one who puts the coffee pot at home leaving his wife to sleep just a little longer, and starts her training in the designated room at home.
જ Officer Ellie Williams! That he has a hard time leaving his nurse wife at work in the morning, his arms around his beautiful wife's shoulders, almost with a pout on his lips, because it was legal to stop seeing his beautiful wife? It wasn't fair, but the job put food on their table, paid for services and kept them afloat, it was still illegal in his eyes.
¦¦ Ellie feels needy, he knew how to identify that feeling from the moment he woke up in the late morning and saw his wife come out of the bathroom, lavender towel over her body, covering soft, insinuating curves which lead towards restless fingers as she craves to kiss every inch of visible skin, but against his wishes he showered, dressed, ate breakfast and watched his wife put lunches together with that sweet voice humming a song he now has installed in his head.
She was a strong woman, both against the louts she was supposed to stop and against her own desires to leave her wife in bed.
Hence, with her uniform on, and her black punch bowl; a small dinosaur keychain hanging on the handles of it with several containers inside with her favorite foods and she had made the drinks in thermoses; hers was lilac and her wife's was army green. He loved his day to day life, the only thing he hated was being separated from his sweet, attractive wife, the woman of their lives and who could ask for his full paycheck and he would gladly give it to her if she would give him some of it. He wore the uniform, the belt on his hip with his gun holster and his arms around his wife, in the parking lot of the employee hospital and leaves butterfly kisses on her cheeks, her jaw, and a hundred, feeling the fabric of your nurse's uniform, tasting the warm skin and your fresh-scented, clean perfume. Hiding her face in the hollow of your neck, clinging to your body and feeling the softness of your body against her stiff, pressed uniform.
“honey” you tried, again convincing her to let go but you enjoy her slender, muscular arms wrapping around your shoulders, her face hidden in the hollow of your neck and shoulder, you almost hear her make disgruntled little noises and gently cradle her hips with your hands, she wears the belt of her uniform and you feel the holster of her gun against your side ‘I'll see you later my love, and I made you your favorite as your lunch’ you say, softly spoken, lovingly caressing her hips feeling her squeeze your shoulders.
“But I couldn't even eat you before, it's unfair you know and I have endless paperwork to do at the office, it's not my day babe” you grumble annoyed, paperwork days don't please your wife and you know it, you let out a giggle and feel her hand squeeze the side of your ribs gently ”Don't laugh, I'm in withdrawal from my wife, I'll die”
“You won't die Ellie, you're just being dramatic.”
“no, no, no my wife is my drug and I'm not on it, I'm dying
“Yes! But even Dina says your wife's food is tasty!” says Jesse trying to get closer to his best friend and fellow patrolman in the break room ”Give me some!”
Hiii can you please make a fic about Ellie and fem reader having s*x for the first time together and reader is insecure about her outie :3?
AWW THIS IS SO CUTE I love this. You already know Ellie is gonna be so sweet about this here we go. Warning I made this into more of a short fic since the relationship is established! Hope you enjoy anon<3
Content: 1k words, reader has an outie, vaginal fingering (r! receiving), oral sex (r! receiving), at this point my reader is a pillow princess, some fluff and a lot of filth, slight overstim
You’re sprawled out in your bed in nothing but your underwear. You and Ellie have never gotten this far, but a heated make-out session turned into what you both craved.
You need Ellie so fucking badly. She looks so pretty staring at your legs, trailing her hands up to your panties, looking up for you for confirmation-
Oh, shit.
You wanna say yes. You really need her, but what if she doesn’t like how you look? You’ve seen the way people talk about your type of vagina online, how it’s gross or unwanted. It makes your stomach churn with anxiety, and you are simply left frozen on the bed, your fingers trembling. You want her so much, but you're afraid that if she sees how you look, she won't even want to touch it. The thought is terrifying.
Ellie notices the nervous look in your eyes and quickly pulls her hands back, concern crossing every inch of her face.
"You okay, baby?" Her voice is sweet and gentle and it makes you feel even worse somehow; you wonder if she will still be sweet if she sees you completely naked.
You sigh, nervous to tell her that the reason you're upset is because of your body. You trust her, you know she loves you with every piece of herself, but you still overthink. "I just.." you trail off, and Ellie squeezes your hand reassuringly, looking up at you with gentle patience. "I hate the way I look down there," you mumble.
Ellie's face softens at that and she squeezes your thigh. "Baby, I love you, and I will love every single bit of this body," she emphasizes her point by kissing your knee, and then up your thigh before pausing. "I can show you how much I'll love whatever it is you have down there, if you'll let me."
You take a shaky breath, still a bit nervous, but you want this. You want Ellie to show you how much she loves you.
"Okay." You try to relax into the bed and Ellie smiles, giving you hand a final squeeze before moving back to your underwear, hooking two fingers inside.
"Can I take these off?" She wants to make sure you're completely okay.
You nod, and she slowly slides your underwear down, quickly tossing them aside. You feel like you're being examined. Ellie is just staring at your pussy and it's honestly a bit nerve-wrecking, but then you see the hungry look in her eyes and it makes the nerves fade a bit, overtaken by the flutters in your tummy.
You look fucking gorgeous right now, legs parted, your pussy lips slick with your own juices. She already knew how soaked you were from the wet patch on your underwear, but this is like a feast in front of her. Ellie wants to appreciate the absolute perfection laid out all for her. Her fingers graze through your sticky folds, making you gasp at the sudden touch.
"This pussy is so pretty, babe," she says and you can tell how much she believes it, "all mine, too."
You were terrified a few minutes ago. You know Ellie is a nice person, and she would do literally anything to make sure you felt loved. You weren't really scared of her being outright disgusted with how your labia looks, but that she would pretend to like your body. Now, seeing how she stares at you, feeling her needy fingers, you know she truly does love your pussy.
She quickly kisses your inner thighs and then her lips brush against your lips, making your breath hitch. Her arms lock around your legs and she digs in.
Ellie is so fucking skilled with her tongue, it is truly unbelievable. She knows how to tease you, to circle her tongue around your folds before giving firm suckles onto your swollen clit. She knows just what to do, and that much is obvious. However, she is also so eager - she eats you like she is truly starving for you. Her warm tongue doesn't just focus on the main bud, but she pays attention to your pussy overall, showing you how much she craves all of it, even dipping her tongue into your wet hole and making you cry out her name.
"E-Ellie, please..don't stop.." You're pleading for her, chanting her name and tugging at her hair. You can't help but buck your pussy up into her face, and it only eggs her on more. You taste so good, and now you're shoving the feast right into her mouth? She's gonna devour you.
You can't stop moaning, nobody has ever loved you like this. This is the first time you have ever felt so good about your body and it is a huge relief that you have a girl so loving that she can't keep her mouth off of your pussy (she's gonna need to eat you out every single day after this). Ellie can multi-task, too; she slips a finger into your cunt as she now focuses on getting you off.
It doesn't take much, just the repeated curling of her fingers inside of you to make you clench, and the flick of her soft tongue over your clit to make it beat faster, sending you tumbling toward an orgasm.
The dual stimulation only extends it; when you think it's over, you're met with more waves of ecstasy You don't remember ever being able to make yourself feel this good, and yet Ellie does it by just exploring your body for the first time. Ellie doesn't even stop when you're coming down, her mouth latched onto your sweet cunt, eating it like it's gonna disappear if she pulls away. You whine and jerk until she finally relents.
When it's all over, Ellie gently pulls away, giving your pretty labia one last kiss before laying down beside you and pulling you on top of her. You collapsed into her body, satisfied and emotional from feeling so loved.
"I love all of you, babe. Do you believe me now?"
You let out a soft sigh and nod. "I love you, too."
can we get a blurb about quinn telling his parents he’s gonna be a dad, pretty pretty please???? i feel like he’d be nervous to tell them but also bursting at the seams wanting them to know. it’s probably hard for him being so far away for most of the year, that he wants them to be involved as much as they can, but he’d also want to respect his partner’s wishes if she wanted to wait to tell people until she was further along in case something happened
The decision about when to tell Quinn’s family about the baby over Thanksgiving weekend had been made weeks ago, but actually doing it was proving to be a whole different story.
For Quinn, the excitement of telling them had been almost overwhelming at first, a buzz of energy thrumming beneath his skin every time he thought about the moment. He could picture their reactions so clearly: Ellen’s face lighting up with joy and then tears, Jim’s steady pride breaking into a wide grin. He’d played it over in his mind again and again, letting the thought carry him through the quiet moments of doubt.
But now, as the reality of actually saying the words settled in, the nerves crept in too. It wasn’t that he doubted their reaction — they would be thrilled, he knew that. They adored him, a love larger than life itself, their pride woven into every word they spoke about him. A love so steadfast it felt unshakable. And over the years, that same love had effortlessly extended to you, not just welcoming you into their family but embracing you as if you’d always been a part of it.
However, the weight of the moment, of what it symbolised, suddenly felt heavier. This wasn’t just a fleeting piece of good news to share. It was life-changing, not just for him and you, but for them as well. They were about to become grandparents, stepping into a new chapter of their lives, and he couldn’t shake the pressure of wanting the moment to be perfect.
The confidence he’d carried on the flight home for the weekend was slipping, giving way to a swirl of emotions he couldn’t quite name. He’d been eager, almost impatient, to share the news, to feel the weight of it lifted and replaced with their joy, their pride, their unwavering support. He wanted them to share in the excitement, to feel connected to this life-changing moment despite the physical miles that often separate them. He needed them to know that their place in this new chapter, as grandparents, was as important to him as the one he was stepping into.
But now, standing on the brink of saying it aloud, a sudden wave of nerves hit him, sharp and unexpected. The enormity of it all — the love, the hope, the vulnerability wrapped in the words — made his throat tighten.
It wasn’t just an announcement. It was a shift, one that would ripple out and reshape everything. Parenthood, after all, was still something the two of you were learning to grasp.
The first evening back home unfolded in the warm glow of Ellen’s kitchen, the scent of roast chicken and fresh-baked bread filling the air. The house alive with warmth — the crackle of the fireplace, the low hum of laughter, and the familiar cadence of Jim’s voice as he spun a tale about the neighbour’s runaway tractor. He gestured animatedly, earning chuckles and interjections from Ellen, who corrected him at every exaggerated turn. It’s a familiar, comforting scene — the kind of moment Quinn usually soaks in without a second thought.
But tonight, his mind is a thousand miles away.
You can feel the tension humming beneath his relaxed posture, the subtle way his fingers tighten around yours every few minutes, like he’s trying to ground himself. His gaze keeps darting to his parents — catching the glint of Ellen’s wedding band as she leans forward in her chair, the crinkle of Jim’s eyes as he laughs at his own joke.
He wants to tell them. You can see it in the way his lips press together, his chest rising and falling with a slow, deliberate breath as though he’s rehearsing the words in his head.
We’re having a baby.
It’s right there, sitting on the tip of his tongue, waiting for the perfect moment.
Quinn shifts in his seat, his free hand sliding up to rub the back of his neck as he leans forward slightly. You can feel the faint tremor in his grip as he laces his fingers tighter with yours, like he’s steadying himself for something big.
Jim’s voice carries on in the background, the rich cadence of his story weaving effortlessly with Ellen’s laughter, but Quinn’s focus isn’t there anymore. His gaze is fixed on the table, the firelight catching in his eyes as he takes a deep, deliberate breath.
You recognise the signs immediately. The way his shoulders draw back just slightly, the faint movement of his lips like he’s practicing the words in his head. It’s coming — you can feel it in the subtle shift of his energy, the way his knee bounces once under the table before he stills it with a hand.
He glances at you, and in the flicker of his gaze, you see everything — the love, the nerves, the overwhelming weight of what he wants to say.
Your expression softens, and you give his hand a gentle squeeze, a quiet I’m here. You’ve got this.
Quinn swallows, his throat working against the knot of emotion rising there.
“So, uh,” he starts, his voice low and hesitant, barely cutting through the warmth of the room.
Ellen turns toward him, her smile easy and expectant, and Jim sets his drink down, his brows lifting in quiet curiosity.
It’s right there. The words are sitting at the edge of his lips, just waiting to fall out. We’re having a baby.
But they don’t.
Quinn falters, his mouth opening slightly before he closes it again, his jaw tightening as he drops his gaze to his lap. His hand squeezes yours, and the quiet pressure feels like an apology.
Ellen’s eyes flit between the two of you, a flicker of concern crossing her face.
“What is it, sweetheart?” she asks gently, her voice laced with the kind of maternal intuition that always catches him off guard.
He looks up at her, his lips curving into a faint, practiced smile that doesn’t quite reach his eyes.
“Nothing,” he says softly, shaking his head. “Just... it’s good to be home. That’s all.”
You watch as Ellen’s concern melts into warmth, her smile returning as she reaches over to squeeze his arm affectionately.
“Well, we’re glad you’re here, too,” she says simply, her love for him evident in every word.
Quinn nods, his gaze falling back to his lap, and you can see the frustration flickering just beneath the surface. He’s upset with himself — not because he doesn’t want to tell them, but because he does. Desperately. He just… can’t.
You lean into him slightly, your shoulder brushing his, and when he looks at you, you offer the smallest smile. He exhales slowly, his grip on your hand relaxing just a bit, and when Jim launches into another story, the tension eases from Quinn’s shoulders — if only for a moment.
The second opportunity comes the next morning, when the day feels impossibly slow and golden, like it’s giving Quinn every chance in the world to speak up. The two of you lie in bed longer than usual, the soft morning light filtering through the curtains as you talk quietly, voices still hushed with sleep.
“We can’t leave without telling them,” Quinn says suddenly, his voice quiet but resolute, like the realisation is finally settling in. His gaze is fixed somewhere on the ceiling, his brow furrowed in thought, the weight of his words pulling his shoulders just a little tighter. “I just… I want to do it right, you know?”
“I get it,” you reply, turning your head to look at him. His profile is soft in the morning light, his jaw flexing slightly as he wrestles with the thought. “You want it to feel special.”
“Yeah,” he murmurs, his lips twitching into a faint, almost sheepish smile. “Exactly. And every time I think about actually saying it, I freeze. Like, what if I screw it up and it’s not as perfect as I want it to be?”
You can’t help the way your heart squeezes a little at the vulnerability in his voice, the honesty of it catching you off guard in the best way. Sliding a little closer, you prop yourself up on one elbow, your hand brushing lightly against his arm. The movement pulls his attention, and for a moment, his eyes flicker to yours before settling back on the ceiling.
“Quinn,” you say softly, your voice laced with affection, “they’re going to love it. It doesn’t have to be perfect. It just has to be you.”
He doesn’t respond right away, the words settling over him like a quiet balm. His jaw flexes again as he chews on your reassurance, his hand absently dropping to your abdomen. It’s such a natural gesture, like he doesn’t even realise he’s done it, his palm curving gently over the barely-there swell.
The corners of his lips twitch, like he’s debating whether to believe you. Then he lets out a soft laugh, low and self-deprecating, his free hand coming up to rake through his already-messy hair.
“You make it sound so easy.”
“Because it is easy,” you insist, squeezing his arm lightly, your gaze steady on him. “It’s you, Quinn. They’re going to be over the moon no matter how or when you tell them.”
His eyes flick to yours then, something unspoken passing between you — a quiet thank you, maybe, or just an acknowledgment that he’s holding onto your words a little tighter than he lets on. His thumb brushes a slow, thoughtful circle against your skin, and you can feel the tension in his shoulders ease, if only just a little.
“Don’t worry, you’ll tell them today,” you murmur. There’s a quiet encouragement in your voice, a steady belief that seems to seep right into him. Your fingers trace lazy circles over the back of his hand where it rests on your belly.
Quinn nods, his lips twitching into a small, tentative smile. It’s not the full-blown confidence he probably wishes he had, but it’s something — a flicker of determination breaking through the haze of nerves.
“Yeah,” he says softly, the single word carrying more resolve than hesitation. “I will.”
He sounds ready. You believe him. So does he.
And so the morning unfolds beautifully. Ellen, with her usual warmth and efficiency, packs coffee and snacks into a little canvas bag, insisting with a bright smile that everyone take advantage of the clear weather to walk the trails. There’s a lightness to her tone, a sense of simple joy that seems to catch on everyone as they prepare to head out.
Out in the forest, the world feels peaceful, quiet but alive. The rustle of leaves underfoot mingles with the occasional chirp of a bird or the soft swish of wind through the trees. The trail is dappled with sunlight, patches of golden light breaking through the canopy above. Quinn walks beside you, his shoulder bumping yours every now and then as the two of you amble along.
He’s quiet at first, his hands shoved into the pockets of his jacket, but there’s a softness to him that doesn’t feel like nervousness — it feels like he’s soaking it all in. The crisp air, the sound of his parents chatting a few paces ahead, the steady rhythm of your steps beside him.
“You good?” you ask softly, nudging him with your elbow. Your breath fogs slightly in the cool air, and he glances over at you, his lips quirking into a small smile.
“Yeah,” he says, his voice low but steady. And for a while, it feels like he means it.
At the overlook at the end of the trail that feels perfect, too. The sunlight glints off the trees, the breeze is cool and gentle, and his parents are close, their laughter light as Ellen unpacks the thermos of coffee. You can feel the moment hanging there, just waiting for Quinn to take it.
He squeezes your hand gently, his thumb brushing slow circles over your knuckles. You glance up at him, catching the way his jaw tightens just slightly, his lips pressing together like he’s rehearsing the words in his head.
“Now’s a good time,” you say softly, tilting your head toward him. Your voice is quiet, meant just for him, but there’s an encouragement in it that you hope will nudge him past whatever’s holding him back.
Quinn nods, his shoulders straightening a little as he draws in a breath.
His gaze flicks over to his parents, who are standing a few feet away, cups of steaming coffee in their hands as they admire the view. They’re relaxed, happy. Completely unsuspecting.
For a moment, it feels like he’s going to do it. He takes a step forward, clearing his throat softly, and both Ellen and Jim glance over at him.
“What is it, Quinn?” Ellen asks, her voice warm, a smile playing on her lips.
You watch as Quinn’s hand flexes at his side, his fingers twitching like he’s trying to grab hold of the words before they slip away.
“I—” he starts, but then his gaze falters, dropping to the ground for a fraction of a second. He hesitates, just long enough for the nerves to creep in.
Jim’s brow lifts slightly, his smile curious. “Everything okay?”
Quinn freezes, his jaw working as if he’s wrestling with the weight of the moment. You see the exact second he decides against it — the subtle shift in his stance, the way his eyes dart back to the view like he’s searching for an escape.
“Yeah,” he says finally, his voice low but steady. “Yeah, everything’s good.”
There’s a beat of quiet, and then Ellen laughs lightly, her attention shifting back to her cup.
“Good,” she says, clearly not noticing the undercurrent of tension. “Come have some coffee before it gets cold.”
Jim watches Quinn for a second longer, his gaze thoughtful, but he doesn’t press. He just claps a hand on Quinn’s shoulder as he passes, squeezing lightly.
Quinn exhales slowly, his shoulders sagging just slightly as he turns back to you. His lips twitch into a faint, sheepish smile, and he shrugs like he’s trying to laugh it off. But you know him too well to buy it.
You don’t say anything, just lean into his side a little, the warmth of him grounding in a way words wouldn’t be.
“Just… not yet,” he murmurs, his voice low, almost like he’s saying it to himself more than to you.
You nod, giving his hand another squeeze, a quiet reassurance passing between you.
“It’s okay,” you murmur, your voice just as soft. “You’ll know when the time’s right.”
He breathes out slowly, his gaze flickering back to the view for a moment before settling on his parents again. And even though the moment passes, and the group begins to move again, their laughter breaking through the quiet hum of the forest, you can feel it. The way his hand tightens slightly around yours. The way his shoulders stay just a little too tense as you walk.
He’s still building up to it, you know that. But he’s getting closer.
Back at the house, the moment arises again, this time while everyone is lounging in the living room after lunch. Quinn sits beside you on the couch, one hand cradling his coffee mug, the other resting on your thigh. His parents are across from you, their chairs pulled close to the fire, and the warmth of the room feels almost tangible, a gentle weight of familiarity and love.
He’s relaxed now, leaning back into the cushions, his gaze sweeping over the room like he’s soaking it all in. His hand tightens slightly on your leg, and you glance at him, catching the way his eyes flicker with something you recognise — nerves, anticipation, resolve.
Ellen catches his eye and smiles, tilting her head slightly. “What’s on your mind, Quinn? You’ve been out of sorts today.”
Your heart skips, and you sit up just slightly, willing him forward with the quiet encouragement in your expression.
This is it. He’s going to say it. You can feel it.
He clears his throat, straightening a little. “Just... uh,” he starts, his voice steady but hesitant. He glances at you, then back at his mom, and his lips twitch into a small, uncertain smile. “Just thinking how I’m gonna miss this when we leave,” he finishes, his tone light but not entirely convincing.
Your shoulders relax, a mix of understanding and disappointment flooding you as you press your knee gently against his. Quinn glances at you, his jaw tightening as he picks up on your unspoken it’s okay. Next time.
Ellen smiles warmly, tilting her head in that soft, motherly way. “It’s not long until Christmas,” she reminds him, though her voice carries a faint wistfulness, like she’s reminding herself too.
Quinn nods. “Yeah,” he says softly. “Not long.”
The following morning unfolds in the quiet, unhurried way that comes after a weekend of family time, everyone savouring these last hours together. The kitchen is warm and familiar, filled with the smell of coffee and the soft sounds of Ellen moving around, flipping pancakes on the griddle. Jim leans against the counter by the sink, drying dishes, while you’re perched on a stool at the island, hands wrapped around a steaming mug of tea. Quinn stands a little apart, leaned back against the counter with a piece of toast in hand, his damp hair sticking up in every direction, evidence of a quick shower.
The conversation drifts easily — something about Jim’s plans for the yard that afternoon, Ellen’s pancake technique, a joke about Luke’s questionable cooking skills. But Quinn is quiet, and not in the usual, thoughtful way. His eyes flick between his parents, to you, and back again, a pattern he’s been repeating all weekend. You know he’s been carrying the weight of the news, the excitement and nerves tangling together, keeping him from saying it despite countless opportunities.
And then, just like that, it happens.
“We have something to tell you,” he says, his voice steady but quiet enough that it cuts through the easy flow of conversation.
The kitchen stills, all eyes turning toward him. Ellen pauses mid-flip, the spatula poised over the griddle, while Jim straightens from his spot near the sink, his brow furrowing slightly.
“What is it?” Ellen asks, her voice soft but expectant, her gaze darting between you both.
Quinn shifts slightly, his toast forgotten on the counter behind him. His hand brushes over the back of his neck, and for a moment, you wonder if he’s going to back out again, if the nerves will win one last time.
But then he glances at you, his expression searching, and you nod gently, giving him the encouragement he’s been looking for.
“We’re having a baby,” he says, the words tumbling out in a rush but steady, sure. His voice catches just slightly at the end, but his eyes stay locked on his parents, watching as the meaning sinks in.
For a moment, the room is silent. Ellen stares at him, her eyes wide and unblinking, her hand coming up to her mouth. Jim’s towel stills mid-fold in his hands, his gaze flicking to you as if for confirmation. And then Ellen gasps — a sound so full of joy and disbelief it feels like it fills the entire room.
“Oh my God,” Ellen whispers, her voice trembling as her hand covers her mouth. Her eyes dart between Quinn and you, wide and shimmering with emotion. “A baby? You’re having a baby?” She looks at you then, as if she needs your confirmation to believe it’s true.
Quinn nods, and the soft, tentative smile that had been tugging at his lips finally breaks free. It spreads wide, unstoppable, lighting up his entire face.
“Yeah,” he says, his voice low and steady but filled with something raw and achingly real. “We’re having a baby.”
His words hang in the air, and for a moment, the world feels suspended, as if the house itself is holding its breath. Then Ellen moves, her emotions bursting forth as she crosses the kitchen in a blur, her arms outstretched. She pulls Quinn into a fierce hug, her laugh bubbling up through a flood of tears.
“Oh, Quinn,” she says, her voice breaking with joy. “A baby. My baby’s having a baby.” Her hands cradle his face for a moment before she hugs him again, tighter this time, as if she can pour every ounce of love she feels into him.
He laughs softly, wrapping his arms around her as his chin rests against the top of her head. “Thanks, Mom,” he murmurs, his voice thick with emotion.
When Ellen pulls back, her focus shifts immediately to you.
“Oh, sweetheart,” she says, rounding the island with tears streaming down her face. “A baby. Oh, I’m so happy for you.” She pulls you into a tight hug, her warmth and joy washing over you in waves. “You’re going to be incredible parents. Both of you.”
Jim moves forward more slowly, his hand landing firmly on Quinn’s shoulder as a wide smile spreads across his face.
“This is incredible news, son,” he says, his voice steady but with an unmistakable quiver of emotion. “Congratulations. To both of you.”
Quinn exhales then, properly exhales, like the weight of all his nerves and hesitations has finally lifted.
For the rest of the morning, the kitchen hums with joy. Ellen flits between the stove and you, her emotions spilling over every time she catches Quinn’s eye. She can’t seem to stop smiling, crying, or imagining the tiny new addition to the family.
“How have you been feeling?” she asks, her eyes searching yours with a mother’s concern. “If you need anything, you’ll let me know, right?”
Her hand briefly brushes over your arm, the gesture warm and reassuring, and you nod, assuring her that you’ve been well, that Quinn has been attentive, that everything is as it should be. It’s impossible not to smile at the way her joy bubbles over, filling every corner of the kitchen like sunlight.
Quinn, for his part, has shed every trace of hesitation. He talks easily now, the nerves replaced by an earnest kind of excitement. He shares the small details — the due date, how you found out, how ready the two of you feel — and every word seems to deepen the pride in Jim’s expression. He stands quietly nearby, his presence grounding and constant, his smile unwavering.
When it’s finally time to leave, the hugs linger. Ellen pulls Quinn close, whispering something through her tears before letting him go to hold you just as tightly. Jim’s hand finds Quinn’s shoulder again, squeezing it once in a way that says everything without words. There’s an unspoken promise in their goodbyes, a warmth that stays even as the front door closes behind you.
Quinn doesn’t say much as he helps you into the car, his hand brushing over your back as he opens the door. But as he settles into the driver’s seat, he glances back at the house one last time, his expression soft, a little dazed. When he turns to you, his smile is quiet, content, the kind that makes your heart ache in the best way.
As you drive away, the crisp Michigan air shifting through the windows, his hand finds yours. His thumb brushes over your knuckles in that familiar, absent minded way, and you realise that for the first time all weekend, there’s nothing holding him back. The weight is gone, replaced by something steadier — joy, contentment, and the simple knowledge that everything is exactly as it should be.
Claimed by the devil
Rafe Cameron has always been possessive, but his obsession with you has spiraled into something far darker. When he sees you laughing with JJ Maybank at a party, the thin thread of control he clings to snaps.
TW - obsessive behaviour, jealousy.
The party was loud and chaotic, the bass from the music vibrating through the Cameron estate. You were at the bar with JJ, your drink in hand, laughing at one of his stories. It had been so long since you felt at ease—since you felt like yourself. JJ’s carefree energy had a way of pulling you out of the shadows, if only for a moment.
But Rafe Cameron didn’t miss anything. Especially when it came to you.
From across the room, Rafe’s sharp blue eyes tracked your every move, the faintest smile on your lips sending a wave of fury through him. That smile was his. Not JJ’s. Not anyone else’s.
He stood in the corner, drink in hand, his knuckles white as he gripped the glass. He didn’t blink as he watched JJ lean closer to you, his hand brushing yours when you handed him your drink.
Rafe’s vision blurred with anger. No one touched what was his.
Before you even realized he was there, Rafe was standing beside you, his hand gripping your waist with bruising force.
“Hey, babe,” he said, his tone deceptively calm but his eyes burning with rage. “You looked a little too comfortable over here.”
You stiffened under his touch, instinctively pulling away. “Rafe, I was just—”
“You were just what?” Rafe interrupted, his gaze flicking to JJ with a deadly glare. “Entertaining him?”
JJ raised his hands, stepping back slightly. “Relax, Rafe. We were just talking.”
“Talking,” Rafe sneered, his hand tightening around your waist. “That what you’re calling it now? You’re lucky I didn’t put you through that wall for standing this close to her.”
“Rafe, stop it,” you said, your voice shaking. “He didn’t do anything wrong.”
“You don’t get to tell me to stop,” Rafe snapped, his voice rising. “Do you even hear yourself? Defending him in front of me?”
JJ’s jaw clenched, his usual laid-back demeanor gone. “She doesn’t need to defend me, Cameron,” he said, his voice steady. “You’re out of line.”
Rafe let out a cold laugh, his eyes narrowing. “Out of line? You’re standing here, trying to take what’s mine, and I’m out of line?”
“Rafe, you’re making a scene,” you said, tugging at his arm.
“I don’t give a damn about the scene,” he snapped, his attention laser-focused on JJ. “I care about the fact that this piece of trash thinks he can even breathe the same air as you.”
“Maybe because I’m not treating her like a possession,” JJ shot back, his voice cutting. “Ever think about that, Cameron?”
Rafe’s face twisted with fury, and he lunged forward, shoving JJ hard. “You don’t talk about her like you know her, Pogue. You don’t know a damn thing about what we have.”
“Rafe, stop it!” you cried, stepping between them and pressing your hands against his chest.
But Rafe wasn’t listening. His eyes flicked to you, wild and unhinged. “Why are you protecting him?” he demanded, his voice shaking with a mix of anger and desperation. “You should be here with me, not laughing with him like he means something to you.”
You took a step back, your heart pounding. “Rafe, this is insane. You can’t keep acting like this.”
“I’m acting like this because I care,” he said, his voice softening for just a moment before the anger bled back in. “No one else will protect you the way I do. No one else will love you like I do.”
“You’re not protecting me,” you said, tears filling your eyes. “You’re suffocating me.”
Rafe froze, his face contorting in pain. “Suffocating you? I’ve done everything for you. I’ve fought for you, protected you, and this is what I get? You don’t understand what it’s like to love someone so much that it hurts.”
“I don’t want it to hurt,” you said, your voice breaking.
JJ reached out, grabbing your hand gently and pulling you back. “You don’t have to deal with this, Y/N,” he said softly. “Come with me. You’re not safe with him.”
The moment Rafe saw JJ’s hand on yours, something in him snapped. He grabbed your wrist, yanking you back to his side with a bruising grip.
“She’s not going anywhere with you,” Rafe said, his voice cold and lethal. “Do you hear me? She’s mine.”
“Let her go,” JJ said, his voice steady but full of warning.
“She doesn’t want to go with you,” Rafe hissed, his grip tightening. “Do you, baby? Tell him. Tell him you’re staying with me.”
You looked at Rafe, his face a mix of fury and desperation, and then at JJ, his steady gaze full of concern and care.
“Rafe…” you started, your voice trembling but Rafe cut you off. “No,” he said, shaking his head. “Don’t even think about it. Don’t think for one second that you can walk away from me. You belong to me. You always have.”
The weight of his words crushed you, the possessiveness in his voice sending a chill down your spine. You opened your mouth to respond, but the words wouldn’t come.
JJ stepped forward, pulling you firmly out of Rafe’s grip. “She doesn’t belong to you, Cameron,” he said, his voice steady. “You need to let her go.”
Rafe’s eyes darkened, his chest heaving as he glared at JJ. “She’s not leaving me,” he said, his voice low and venomous. “Not now. Not ever.”
But for the first time, you stepped back, your hand in JJ’s. “I can’t do this anymore, Rafe,” you said, your voice barely above a whisper.
Rafe’s face twisted with fury and heartbreak, and he took a step toward you. “You’re making a mistake,” he said, his voice trembling. “You think he can love you like I do? No one can. No one will.”
As JJ led you away, Rafe’s voice echoed behind you, a dangerous promise in every word.
“You’ll regret this, Y/N,” he called out. “You’ll come back. You always do.”
But for the first time, you weren’t so sure.
A/N: This one is gonna hurt. I’m so sorry.
Oh Ally... ngl, I'm a little scared 👀 Ok let's go!!
His black t-shirt is pulled up just slightly and his hand is what's mostly in focus, holding onto his cock that is peeking out of his flannel pajama pants. He is pulling his foreskin down tight making the head of his cock flush with color against his skin. The shadowiness makes his happy tail look even thicker and more unruly than what you have seen.
wtf, is your goal to make me horny before breaking my heart? Because if that's the case, congrats 😂😭
“Mmm what are you doing to me, baby girl.”
Fuck
“I’ll call you, alright?” His voice is firm, there is no room for questions. “Alright.” You force a smile and he nods and heads to his truck. It was hard not to take that as asking you not to bother him. He wasn’t being unkind in his tone, but he wasn’t being truthful either. You can’t shake the feeling that something is off.
Aaaaaaah I already wanna cry 😭Ally 😭
“I never asked you for anything.” Tess utters quietly. Joel nods in agreement, silently reliving all the things he loved about her. Still loves about her. “Never had to.” Joel gives a gentle side smile. Their eyes meet. Eyes that are intimate and mourning all at once. Hopeful and nostalgic.
Oh damn this is so beautiful
Questioning why Tess was introducing you to the man you had been fucking for the past few weeks. The man who had naked photos of you on his phone. The man you were hopelessly besotted with. Joel’s eyes glance up at you and for the first time ever he looks sheepish. He holds his hand out standard and practical. Emotionless like it's a formal business greeting. “Joel. Nice to meet you.” You stare, dumbfounded by his words, spoken so nonchalant. Nice to meet me?
Oh fuuuuuck.
Joel stares him down as he walks away and you could have easily mistaken it for jealousy. The irony of it, as your harmless flirting was nothing compared to his potential relationship with your boss. You needed answers, whether or not Joel wanted to disavow you.
Omg I love this so much!!! I just love it, when joel is emotionally unavailable, breaks our heart, but shows evidence of jealousy and possessiveness, aaaaaaah 😍😍😍
The bartender interrupts you to hand you your drink and gives Joel the side eye, no doubt noticing how prickly he was and how much your demeanor had changed from earlier. “What are you staring at?” Joel snaps at the bartender. His intimidating tone was low but it was threatening. His misplaced anger was looking for any way to escape. “Relax, bud.” He puts his hands up in a submissive gesture and backs off. He glances back over to you but you look away and don’t make eye contact with him again. “She ain't’ interested.” He threatens and somehow makes himself look even bigger. The bartender nods with a knowing smile that might as well say ‘not worth the trouble’ as he grabs Joel’s empty beer bottle and moves on. He wasn’t interested enough to contest with Joel. You hate how much it turns you on to see him get protective over you.
DEAD.
I had to quote all of it because damn that was so fucking good!!
He presses up against you, pinning you against a stack of boxes. It is reserved but still so sensual. He pushes your hair behind your ear and combs his fingers through it, smelling your sweet scent mixing with his woodsy, pine cologne.
Fuck. I would fall for him 😭😂
And then, the song? Oh my heart... This is so good, Ally ❤️❤️
And I wonder what you got for us in the next part 😍😍
The Wolf You Feed (Part 4)
Pairing: Joel Miller x Female Reader
Word Count: 8.1k
Part 4 / ? (Ongoing) A O 3 | M A S T E R L I S T
Summary: Set in a fictional New England town, you fall for your handsome, intense and outdoorsy neighbor while renting out your parent's vacant summer home during a brutal winter.
Chapter Warnings: ANGST. Smut. POV-Switching. Rated Explicit. 18+ MDNI. See series masterlist for complete warnings.
A/N: This one is gonna hurt. I’m so sorry.
You get ready for bed and eye the flannel that you stole from Joel’s house. You hold it close to your chest and breathe in his scent that still lingers.
You strip down to nothing but your lacy panties and don his shirt. You precariously drape it off your shoulders and look at yourself in the mirror.
Joel would love this.
Your hair is still damp and messy from your shower but you look clean and bright. The I’m positively smitten glow you have makes you radiate.
You position yourself on your bed perched on your knees with your legs spread open. You adjust the shirt just right to hang over your shoulders and around your breasts, just barely covering your nipples.
With your phone positioned slightly above you, you snap a pic while making your most innocent face. Your full body is in the frame and perfectly teasing with your frumpy shirt placement. Your sluttiest black, lacey panties also help to conceal just enough to be a tease.
You: Getting ready for bed
You attach the photo and send it. You sit back on your heels and eagerly watch for the read receipt. He is quick to reply.
Joel: Goddamn
Joel: Beautiful
A brief pause.
Typing. Typing. Typing.
Joel: Got any more?
Your heart skips a beat. You absolutely want to give him more.
You: Maybe
You sit back and let the flannel shirt drape open, fully exposing your breasts and your hardened nipples. You sit more upright, and grab a fistfull of your hair and gaze up to the camera, looking a little deranged and lustful. You eye your photo before sending it, impressed with yourself.
Sent.
Joel: Fuck
Joel: Look at them tits
You smirk as you imagine him losing his mind and hope he is as horny as you are. You feel your heat begin to surge inside. You feel so needy for his cock.
You: Your turn
You weren’t too sure what to expect or if he would even play along but after a minute you got your answer.
The photo he sends is so poorly taken, it is endearing when you get over the disappointment of not having his dick perfectly photographed. It’s dark and grainy. You can just make out the navy blue sheets under his skin to deduce he is in his bed too. His black t-shirt is pulled up just slightly and his hand is what's mostly in focus, holding onto his cock that is peeking out of his flannel pajama pants. He is pulling his foreskin down tight making the head of his cock flush with color against his skin. The shadowiness makes his happy tail look even thicker and more unruly than what you have seen.
Nevertheless, it is undeniably Joel. The flutter you get inside that you only ever felt from him.
You: Joel, how naughty
One more photo, he earned it.
This time, you let the shirt fall off completely to your hips. You slide one of your hands into your panties and hook your thumb over the edge to pull them down. You make a “V” with your fingers and press yourself apart so your swollen clit is in full view. With your free hand you snap one last picture and send it. This one is more focused and does not show your face, but it certainly was an eyeful. You doubt he would even be looking elsewhere.
Your message is instantly read. After a moment Joels typing comes and goes until it stops completely. You wonder if he is touching himself. Hope he is touching himself. You impatiently rub your fingers against yourself while you wait, aching at the thought of him.
Your screen changes to an incoming call from Joel Miller.
Of course you answer it as calmly as you can.
“Hey, Mr. Miller.” You greet him with a flirty tone.
“Mmm what are you doing to me, baby girl.” He speaks low and sounds relaxed and groggy. You wonder if you woke him up when you sent the first pic and kind of hope you did.
“Just getting ready for bed and thinking about you.”
You hear him make a breathy acknowledgement and you know he is stroking himself just by how he is breathing. You feel bolder and more daring talking to him on the phone. You can be a tease and he can’t do anything about it.
You put it on speaker so you can have both your hands free.
“Wishing it was your fingers on me.” You lay back on your bed and slide your fingers over your clit until a moan escapes you. “Or your cock.”
“Mmm. Keep going,” he growls low.
Even on the phone he has to be bossy. His voice cuts straight through you. Always so commanding but spoken with a warmness that makes you melt.
You slide a finger inside your wet and needy cunt and use your other hand to tease your clit.
“Joel…” you rasp his name low as you moan. “How hard are you right now?”
You hear him chuff quietly.
“Bout ready to come, sweetheart.”
His shallow breathing and occasional grunt cheers you on. Your hands are so inadequate compared to his. You need to be filled by him. Want his rough hands putting friction in all the right spots.
You fumble with your nightstand drawer for your dildo. His ears pick up on the creak of the wooden drawer opening and he stops you in your tracks.
“No toys.” His stern voice commands. “I want you to get off with your fingers.”
You can hear his grin on the other end.
“... and beg for my cock.”
That wouldn’t be hard to do. You already are screaming inside for him to put you out of your misery. Your performative moans are now all too real.
“Joel… fuck.” You whine but bring your hand back to your opening and press inside with two of your fingers while you massage your clit.
His authoritative demands empower you. Hearing him breathing, groaning and barking orders at you makes it a lot easier to get yourself to the edge. Despite how tiny your hands are in comparison, your mind fills in all the gaps as his voice penetrates your ears.
“I want you to fill me,” you whine.
“Mmm. Gonna make a mess of me.” He sounds haggard. He has been holding back his own release for sure. The thought of making Joel Miller come undone over the phone is intoxicating.
You moan and your breath hitches as you can feel yourself teetering on the edge. Pleading to release.
“Joel…” You whimper. Begging.
“Come for me, baby.” His commanding tone returns, beckoning you to do as he asks.
“Let me hear you. Come for daddy.”
You gasp at his words. That was never something you thought you were into. It went straight to your pussy. Your walls flutter around your fingers as you replay his words in your head. You do come for him, hard, and let him hear you climaxing over the thoughts of him inside you.
“Mmmm.” He groans low as you ride your climax high and let your desperate sounds tip him over the edge.
His labored breathing and raspy moans pick up and you know he is coming.
He goes silent and You can just imagine him laying in his bed with his cock in his hand, pumping himself until he comes over his knuckles. Spent and sticky.
A moment passes as you both breathe heavily catching your breath. Enjoying the moment with one another and relishing in the aftermath of your shared experience.
“Such a good girl.” He praises. “Now, get some sleep.”
You roll your eyes. As if sleeping was going to come easy at this point.
“Night, sweetheart.”
“Night… daddy.” You smirk to yourself, amused and satisfied, and hang up.
You were pretty shocked to see Joel in your driveway come the next morning. He was scraping ice off your windshield and there was a fresh tossing of salt and sand on your walkway. There was some freezing rain overnight, unbeknownst to you.
“Hey, you really don’t have to do that for me.” You call out as you lock your door and make your way down the path.
“I know.” He scrapes at the last bits of frost. “Still gonna.”
You brighten at the way he says it. Feminism be damned, it felt really good to have this man looking out for you.
You were looking real cute in your Bean boots and beanie. Acting a little more timid compared to your late night activities.
You shoved your hands in your jacket pockets and walked over to your car with a cutesy spring in your step. Joel tried to hide his disdain for your carefree jaunt down the icy path. Still, he looked so handsome in his brown suede coat and his relentless refusal to wear a winter hat. Always wielding that power to make you melt in his presence.
“Thank you.” You smile at him as you approach him at arm's length. “Still not giving you the shirt back,” you tease.
“Don’t want it back.” He holds back a smirk and quickly looks you over. Reliving last night's photos, you can imagine. You suppress a wicked smile imagining him saving them in his main album like a heathen.
He takes a step towards you and with his gloved hand he gently holds your chin and brushes his thumb over. You note the subtle way his eyes soften. His longing stare makes it feel like he isn’t going to see you for a long time, and it lingers. He drops his hand and puts it on his hip. His other hand fidgets with his leg like he is unsure what to do.
“I’m not gonna be around for a little while” He hesitates and looks like he wants to say more and you pickup that something is off. Something he still has decided you are not privy to know about. Whatever has been bothering him the past few days is still weighing on him. “I got some stuff to take care of and I’ll be real busy.”
“Ok, Joel.” You don’t give away that you think he sounds suspicious. Guilty even. You want to press him, but you let it go, again. You open your mouth to speak but he cuts you off.
“I’ll call you, alright?” His voice is firm, there is no room for questions.
“Alright.” You force a smile and he nods and heads to his truck. It was hard not to take that as asking you not to bother him. He wasn’t being unkind in his tone, but he wasn’t being truthful either.
You can’t shake the feeling that something is off.
You are dragging your feet at work. After your late night fun with Joel your mind was wide awake and you had trouble sleeping.
Marlene is extra bubbly today. She is riding the Friday wave and you are grateful she takes on more of the customer facing role while you just work mindlessly making endless orders of lattes and cold brews.
“So, do you wanna?”
“Huh?” she had been talking to you, apparently.
“Do you want to go out tonight?”
“Oh. Yeah, ok.”
“You sound really interested.” She says sarcastically while she stares at you and crosses her arms.
“Sorry, just tired. Yes, I’d love to.”
“Good. Meet at Copper’s around 8? They are doing all night happy hour and open mic.”
“Sounds good.” And it does sound good. Something to do to keep yourself busy and it’s better than going home and watching Netflix by yourself. You have no idea how long Joel is going to be occupied and Marlene is the only other person you would consider a friend since moving there. It would be nice to spend some real time with her outside of work.
“Its not the classiest place, but the crowd is good. Dress slutty and maybe we can get some free drinks.” Marlene jokes, but you have every intention to dress like a knockout and have a good time.
When you walk in it becomes obvious you are overdressed. Many eyes were on you. You stuck out and had a lot of attention, some unwanted, but it also was flattering. Your choice of black minidress was conventionally good for a night of drinking and letting loose, but less practical once you walked through the door and saw what you were working with.
Copper’s was just a few notches above a dive bar and significantly less upscale than the late night Boston clubs and speakeasy’s you frequented. It was mostly crawling with locals, many of which you recognized from Grind. Despite that, the energy felt good. Friendly faces lit up when they saw you and even more cast some not-so-conspicuous stares at your body when they thought you were not looking.
The expansive bar wrapped around the back wall and there was a small stage on the wall across from it. High tops and tables filled out most of the middle with little room to do much more than sit and socialize. Get drunk off beer and cocktails and fat off appetizers and hot wings. The whole place was a little chaotic and rough but it felt cherished. It embodied that small town feel that was brought to life by the patrons.
Marlene walks up to you with some sort of fruity cocktail in each hand. Dressed much more casually than you with a high waisted denim skirt and a low cut band tee.
“About time you get here. Damn, girl!” She looks you up and down as she hands you the drink. “You don’t play around.” You share a laugh, and relish your new, unexpected friendship.
The cocktail is overkill on the sweetness but the vodka hits you hard when you take a sip.
“You didn’t tell me this place was a dive!” You tease.
“Well it’s the only bar we have open year-round so don’t knock it.” She pretends to scold you.
“I’m joking. This is perfect.” And it was.
You and Marlene make quick work of your drinks as you float around the bar. She introduces you to new people and you get friendlier with familiar faces. The bartender flirts with you when he learns you are new to town and you indulge in some harmless fun.
The bar is quickly filling up and you think it must be a fire code violation at this point. You buy the second round of drinks and take a seat while you still can. Laughter and the high from your buzz set you on the right path and you are filled with gratitude for your new friendships and your new home.
[Joel POV]
Joel fiddles with his empty beer bottle, unsure what the hell he is doing. Tess should be arriving any moment now, and he is no closer to ending things with her.
He has his guitar in tow, stowed against the wall. He perches himself in the very last seat, enjoying some solitude while the bar slowly starts to fill in.
He raises two fingers at the bartender and signals that he is ready for another beer. The bartender returns a moment later with a fresh Budweiser.
“There he is!”
Joel spins on his bar stool to the familiar voice.
“Hey Frank. Bill.” He nods to them as Frank slaps his back enthusiastically and sits down next to him.
“Been a while. Tess coming too?”
“S’posed to.” Joel takes a swig of his beer and doesn't give them much of an opportunity to ask more.
Bill sits silently on the other side of Frank, orders two beers and slides one to Frank. He never was one to talk much compared to his counterpart.
“Well, we have missed you. It has been at least a month since we have seen you.” Frank turns to Bill, urging him to converse a little. They were all old friends, but Tess was the one that tended to be the glue between them.
Bill nods in agreement. “Ain’t like it used to be. Not missing much.” Joel keeps to himself, staying mostly quiet while the other two make small talk between themselves. They know Joel well enough to recognize when he is in a mood and to give him space.
Tess walks up to the bar shortly after and throws her arms around Frank in surprise.
“Hey Stranger!” She turns to Bill and does the same thing but he is much more reserved. She intentionally makes him uncomfortable with an embrace, making Frank laugh at his discomfort.
Joel turns his body so his legs are back under the counter and sips his beer. The three of them chatter for a few minutes while Joel broods.
“They are going to start soon. Lets grab a table before they are all taken.” Frank was already buzzed and it made him even more eccentric.
“I’m fine right here.” Joel declines.
“Alright, well join us if you want to later.” Frank taps his shoulder and shuffles off towards some tables closer to the stage. Bill follows behind after giving a silent nod to Joel and Tess and lifting his beer to gesture goodbye. Poor Bill was not one for going out and socializing, but he did it for Frank.
Tess takes Frank’s seat and hails the bartender right away. She notices it's not their regular guy and isn’t too impressed with him making her wait. A silence looms for a few moments. The air is awkward and tense.
“Two shots of whiskey.” She requests and glances over at Joel as the bartender pulls out two shot glasses. Joel nods in agreement.
“Wasn’t sure if I’d see you tonight.” Joel is the first to speak.
“Likewise.” Tess says sharply but follows up softer. “I’m glad to see you.”
The bartender finishes pouring the shots and pushes one to each of them. They knock them back.
“Look, I meant what I said.” Joel sounds like he is reassuring himself as much as her.
“I know.” She retorts. His eyes find doubt in her words. “Jesus, Joel, I know. Can’t we just have some drinks? Don’t be such a sour puss.”
Joel scoffs at her words. He pushes his empty shot glass away and taps near his glass when the bartender walks closer. He pours another round. Joel and Tess knock back a second shot. It isn’t nearly enough to help him deal with his issues but it does help him lighten up a little.
Tess leans against Joel's shoulder and presses her hand onto the top of his thigh. She always was a lightweight, and had no problems coming on to him. No doubt she had pre-gamed before coming out, same as Joel.
“Why can’t it just be like this?” she traces a circle on his leg and moves her finger closer to his groin. He shifts his leg as she grazes his zipper.
“Nothings’ ever easy with us, Tess.” Joel pauses and puts his hand over hers. Reluctantly he peels her hand away. “We don’t want the same things anymore.”
“You don’t want this anymore?” She slides her hand back over his zipper this time with more force and she feels him twitch under the denim. She strokes her fingers down his length pressing into his seam. He stifles a groan and stirs in his seat.
“Tess..” His words plead her to stop, but his body reacts to her touch as it always does. Betraying his good intentions. Their attraction for one another was never in question. It just made things a whole lot more complicated. It was hard for him to resist her advances, and he wasn’t even sure he wanted to. She wasn’t exactly cooperating with his poor attempts to resist either.
“‘Course I do.” He looks at her, wantonly and holds her gaze. He pauses and chooses his words carefully. “But it’s not enough.”
She was observant of his reaction, calculating what sort of leverage she had left with Joel. She could see his genuine anguish and was reminded too well of the circumstances that brought them together in the first place. She never said it in all those years, not once, but she did love him.
“We can make it work… we always do.” Tess tries to reason with him, but she has defeat in her voice.
“It’s too late for us, Tess.” Joel reaches a hand out to the side of her face and gently holds her. She removes her hand from his lap and wraps around his forearm and covers his hand with her own, leaning into his touch. The moment is intimate and despite a room full of people it felt like they were the only two. The unspoken love between them was always there as a thread to keep them together. This was not ending because the love was gone, it was ending because it had no more room to grow.
He could see that she was finally accepting what he was saying. At least she was trying to. He brushed his thumb over her cheek and reassured her with his touch that his feelings for her were not lost, but he was not going to give into them anymore.
“I need a clear mind.” He locks eyes with her as he takes his hand back. “I’m playing tonight.”
“You are?” She pulls away, surprised and easily distracted with the subject change. She looks down and eyes Joel’s guitar case leaning against the bar. “Singing too?” Joel nods. This feels familiar and comforting.
“Well I’ll be damned.” Tess’ smile fades and expression softens, filled with sadness. A realization that they had moved away so far from where they used to be. A silent moment lurks but it is not unwanted. It gives them both time to think.
“I never asked you for anything.” Tess utters quietly. Joel nods in agreement, silently reliving all the things he loved about her. Still loves about her.
“Never had to.” Joel gives a gentle side smile. Their eyes meet. Eyes that are intimate and mourning all at once. Hopeful and nostalgic.
He was always going to love Tess.
She stands to interrupt the silence and reaches for his hand to follow.
“Lets find Bill and Frank. I wanna sit with them while you play.”
“Alright.”
Joel leaves his guitar at the bar and follows close behind her. The room is getting more and more crowded by the minute. The first act is wrapping up and switching over to another singer. The bar is alive with excitement.
Following Tess into the crowd his heart drops. There you are, just a few tables in front of him, sitting at a hightop with Marlene. Dressed incredibly sexy with your short dress and your cropped leather jacket. Knee high boots and your hair flowy and free. He wished he could take you right there and have his way with you.
You looked so happy. So unaware of what was about to happen. Innocent and at peace.
Tess grabs his arm and pulls him towards your table, excited to see you and Marlene and she makes a beeline to say hello.
You shouldn’t be here. His brain screams and his heart races. His chest gets heavy and tight as he inches closer to your table, unable to stop the encounter. It was too late. You had already noticed him approaching when Tess called your name and you saw him in tow.
He should have told you from the start, but he didn’t. Even if nothing had happened with Tess since he started falling for you he was well aware how this was going to look.
He was finally making some progress with Tess and couldn’t risk that getting ruined. At your expense, too. There was no other way.
And he knew right at that moment he was the biggest asshole in the world.
[Reader POV]
You turn your head as you hear your name being called out. You see Tess first and just towering behind her is Joel. It was impossible to miss him with his broad shoulders and brooding scowl. For a brief moment, you light up to see him when your eyes catch his.
He was a sight to behold. Wearing a button up navy blue shirt with the sleeves rolled up on his tight forearms. Jeans hugging his body and perfectly accenting his burly frame. His hair was also slicked back and styled like he gelled it fresh out of the shower. The moody lighting masking his silver streaks more than usual. He looked absolutely delicious and it made you ache for him all over again. You had just put him out of your mind too. It didn’t take much to stir up those feelings again when your desire for him was relentless and insatiable. Your heart races, fueled by your longing.
Until you realize they are together.
A wave of dread washes over you. Joel immediately looks away from you in a panic, confirming your fear that something is wrong. He won’t look at you but you can’t take your eyes off of him and ignore everything else around you.
“This is my new star employee. She’s wonderful.” Tess lights up talking about you and playfully bumps into your shoulder. She is babbling on but you have no idea what she is saying because you aren't listening to her anymore. Too preoccupied with figuring out what was happening. Questioning why Tess was introducing you to the man you had been fucking for the past few weeks. The man who had naked photos of you on his phone. The man you were hopelessly besotted with.
Joel’s eyes glance up at you and for the first time ever he looks sheepish. He holds his hand out standard and practical. Emotionless like it's a formal business greeting.
“Joel. Nice to meet you.” You stare, dumbfounded by his words, spoken so nonchalant.
Nice to meet me?
He holds his hand out firmly, waiting for you to take it. His eyes plead with you to go along with it. You lightly grasp his hand. His fingertips drag tenderly as he pulls it away, as if they were apologizing. You say nothing but force a pathetic half-smile.
Tess clearly having one too many drinks hangs off of his shoulder and bumps into his hips. You try to hide the confusion and disgust on your face. Joel refuses to look at you again after your introduction.
He doesn’t reciprocate her energy at all. He looks like a lost dog. Uncomfortable and out of place. She seems oblivious to it, but you are dead focused on reading him to get some answers while she carries on talking. He is a stone wall, giving you nothing.
Marlene says something in response and the two of them laugh but you can’t hear anything but muddled voices over the loudness of your thoughts.
Joel nods at whatever she says but is silent. He looks so distant like he wants to shrink away. Guilty and cowardly.
Every piece of your being wants to scream. What is going on? You don’t want to assume anything. Maybe they are friends and you are overreacting. But then why wouldn’t he have said something sooner? Why did he pretend not to know you? Why won’t he even look at you? The questions keep piling up and your stomach is in knots.
“Come on, Joel.” She hooks her hand around his arm to pull him along. You’ve never seen him act so submissive. “See you girls later.”
As he brushes past you he catches your arm when no one is looking and he gives you the softest brush with the back of his hand. He tries to be inconspicuous and whispers in your ear as he passes.
“I’m so sorry.” His words stab you. They sound sincere and painful but offer no comfort or answers.
As Joel and Tess disappear into the crowded room of people, Marlene is quick to notice you are in your head but brushes it off as being a little drunk.
“God they are annoying.” Marlene shakes her head and takes a sip of her drink. You hear her talking, but still not really listening. You are preoccupied watching Tess take a seat a few tables away and see Joel make some brief small talk and wander off in the direction of the bar.
They didn’t look romantic, at least not from his angle. Are you just overreacting? The alcohol is probably just making you paranoid. You hate how insecure he makes you feel. The reality is that the more time you spend with him the harder it is to be apart. He was unlike any man you had ever been with on so many levels. He made you feel so needy for his attention, and jealous that he was with Tess in some capacity, instead of you. You feel foolish.
A singer briefly performs a song and the room gets loud again as voices rise between sets. You are silent and disassociating with everything around you, unsure if it's the buzz from the alcohol or your serotonin working overtime to calm you down.
“You ok?” Marlene asks.
“Yeah…”
Marlene prys. “You don’t look ok.”
It was obvious from that awkward moment earlier that she knew Joel. You wanted to spill and tell her everything and pick her brain, but your suspicions made you question where her loyalties may lie. You had never told her who your neighbor was and now you felt trapped and alone with this secret.
“I just need another drink.” You laugh and play it off coolly. “Gonna grab one at the bar, be right back.”
As you walk to the back of the room you take note of Tess still sitting at the table and talking to a few guys. It looks like they are familiar and catching up. Joel is standing at the crowded bar at the very end, mostly tucked away and probably how you missed seeing him sooner because you weren't looking for him. Against your better judgment you approach him.
You squeeze into the space next to him and try to keep a little distance from him, but your bare thigh rubs up against his leg as you step in and the person to your left pushes into you. He stays facing straight ahead and doesn’t acknowledge you, except to move his leg from its wide posture. His scowl works overtime to keep his composure. He takes a sip of his beer.
You hail the familiar bartender with your empty glass. He winks and goes to make you another. Drink three and he already has your order memorized and was probably hoping to get your number.
Joel stares him down as he walks away and you could have easily mistaken it for jealousy. The irony of it, as your harmless flirting was nothing compared to his potential relationship with your boss. You needed answers, whether or not Joel wanted to disavow you.
“You wanna tell me what the hell that was about?” Your voice is a little shaky, wavering through your anger and confusion.
“I owe you an explanation.” He nods, still staring off ahead.
You pause, waiting for him to say more, but he doesn’t. Your eyes bore into him and his ignoring you is making you fume more and more. You try to read him, and see the subtle changes as he gets more and more frustrated that you are not getting the hint to leave him alone.
“So… explain?” You push his chest, try to pry the information out of him. His jaw tenses. Glowering and annoyed. His calm facade being chiseled away by your incessant need for answers.
Joel looks at you with cold eyes. Sad eyes. Eyes you do not recognize. He recoils at your touch. Makes you feel like a dirty secret. He tips back his beer and downs the rest of the bottle.
“Can you please fucking say something?” You beg. You are annoyed at how he is acting. He was clearly frustrated by your being there and that anger was festering by the minute.
“This isn’t the time.” He says unphased by your request.
The bartender interrupts you to hand you your drink and gives Joel the side eye, no doubt noticing how prickly he was and how much your demeanor had changed from earlier.
“What are you staring at?” Joel snaps at the bartender. His intimidating tone was low but it was threatening. His misplaced anger was looking for any way to escape.
“Relax, bud.” He puts his hands up in a submissive gesture and backs off. He glances back over to you but you look away and don’t make eye contact with him again.
“She ain't’ interested.” He threatens and somehow makes himself look even bigger. The bartender nods with a knowing smile that might as well say ‘not worth the trouble’ as he grabs Joel’s empty beer bottle and moves on. He wasn’t interested enough to contest with Joel.
You hate how much it turns you on to see him get protective over you. His mixed signals were giving you whiplash. You suspect and even hope that his lashing out and acting this way is just a tactic to get you to leave the matter alone for now. It wasn’t going to work with you though. You were not afraid of him or intimidated.
His fingers curl over the counter and he flexes them, agitated. He taps his fingers in a rolling motion and pushes himself away from the bar with the heel of his hand.
“You should go home.” His words hurt and are spoken with finality through dark eyes that penetrate you. “We’ll talk about this later.”
“No.” Your brows furrow at the audacity. “I want to talk now.” You demand.
Joel ignores you and pushes past you to get to the back hallway. He makes you feel insignificant and like you are just an obstacle in his path to walk around. It makes you even more angry.
You tip back the bulk of your drink dangerously fast and follow him. There were so many people, no one was really paying attention to you and Joel, so why was he acting like this?
You stumble down the corridor to the bathrooms, instantly regretting your choices to drink so recklessly. It makes you feel gross and desperate that you have to chase him someplace so dark and secluded.
With his back to you he balls his hand into a fist and knocks on one of the bathroom doors with enough force to startle anyone in earshot. Someone inside yells that they need a minute.
He puts a hand on his hip and the other drags down his face as he paces and turns towards you. He knew you would follow. He fans his hand out in your direction, pleading with you to let this go.
“I said later.” His words sound tired from your persistence. He looks you up and down and you see something else in his eyes. Behind the anger, the hunger for you is still there.
“Joel.” Your anger starts to cool when you see how agitated he is. Afraid that you are just making everything worse. Maybe you should just leave this alone until later. You could be making a scene over nothing.
“You shouldn’t be here,” he speaks slowly and deliberately, trying to keep himself calm. You try to hold it back but you can’t stop the tears from welling up in your eyes. Impatiently he bangs on the door again and an angry yell returns, calling him an impatient prick.
“I didn’t know you were going to be here tonight.” You are not sure why you are the one defending yourself here. You feel the room spinning and reach to brace yourself on the wall before you stumble. The alcohol and the adrenaline of being afraid to lose Joel was just becoming too much.
Joel reaches out to you and grabs your wrist to steady you. He leads you a bit further down the hall, and just at the end is a small and dark alcove with storage boxes. You can still hear the loudness of Copper’s echoing through the hallway but at least it feels more private. Trashy, but discrete.
You back yourself against the wall, feeling overwhelmed by everything and your anger vanishing into nothing but hurt. Joel stands across from you with his arms crossed. He takes a deep breath.
“Listen. This ain’t got anything to do with you. Ok?” Now is your turn to respond with silence. You have a thousand questions but no words manage to come out, instead a tear drops down your face. You wipe it away quickly but he already noticed it.
“Sweetheart.” He closes the gap between you and holds your face in his hand, wiping his thumb over the wet trail on your cheek. You look up at him with glossy eyes and he looks pained to see you so upset. “Please don’t.”
You feel foolish crying given the real probability of infidelity. Still, you lean into his touch, craving the contact with him that he had been denying you. Soaking in his warmth and pushing the negative thoughts as far away as possible.
He presses up against you, pinning you against a stack of boxes. It is reserved but still so sensual. He pushes your hair behind your ear and combs his fingers through it, smelling your sweet scent mixing with his woodsy, pine cologne.
The heat from his cock feels so good against you, and you can feel him harden slightly when you push your hips into him. Even through tears your body can’t say no to Joel. His body towers over you and makes you feel calmer being in his clutches.
He sneaks a hand up the side of your leg and slips it under your dress. You feel his breath hot on your neck as he kisses you there. His scruff scrapes against the soft meat of your neck and makes you come undone. He presses his mouth into you, hedonic and greedy.
His thumb slides under the thin straps of your panties and he draws circles on your hip bone, dancing dangerously closer to your center. He doesn’t cross the threshold, and with restraint he slides his hand around to your hip over the top of your dress. He presses his forehead into yours and holds you there for a brief moment, relishing having you in his grasp.
As soon as the heated moment starts it fades and Joel takes a step back, holding you at arms length. With a desperation in his eyes, he speaks.
“Go home.” His words hurt. “Please. Go home.”
He turns and leaves you alone in the hallway, disappearing into the crowd. Discarding you like an unwanted problem. A mistake. Something to acknowledge only in the dark.
You feel absolutely blindsided and used and you don’t even know what is going on. You slide your back down the wall and curl your arms around your knees, hugging yourself. You have never felt more alone and abandoned. You hold yourself harder to keep back the tears.
Moments later you hear footsteps and a familiar voice rattles you back to earth. It’s Marlene, knocking on one of the bathroom doors asking if you are inside. You regain your composure and bring yourself to your feet and walk sheepishly towards her from the alcove. You adjust your dress and hair, both a little disrupted by Joel.
“There you are! Is everything ok? I’ve been looking for you.” You turn to face her and do your best to look composed and calm.
“Yeah I was just feeling my drink and had to get away for a minute.” You are a terrible liar.
“Uh huh...” She reaches her hand out and wipes some black makeup that still lingered on your cheek. “Don’t tell me you’re crying about that guy you’ve been seeing?” She tries to guess what could have you so upset. You fake a laugh and try to throw her off. She notices your messy hair. “Or did you makeout with that bartender that was hitting on you?” she asks excitedly.
“Nothing like that. I’m fine. Really.” You say with confidence but she is still skeptical. You take a few steps down the hallway. The words Joel begged of you before leaving you replay over and over.
“Hey, do you… know that guy?” You struggle to get his name out. “Joel?” She looks at you puzzled. Inquisitive. Amused at your question.
“Everyone knows Joel Miller.” She stares at you, her expression trying to hide some judgment but can’t resist. “Why?”
You don’t answer and just stare off blankly. You feel like a total idiot. A used trollop. She tries to read between the lines, assuming your drunk ass is crushing on him.
“Don’t get involved with Joel.” She warns and hooks her arm in yours and leads you back to the main room.
Your table had been scarfed up which was no surprise. There were so many people.
You are floating between being too drunk and carefree and on the verge of a mental breakdown. For now, the alcohol was keeping you afloat. This wasn’t the time or place to deal with whatever was going on with Joel and you were not in the right frame of mind to handle it.
You made up your mind. You were going to stay and try to salvage what was left of your night. You would stay clear of Joel. Why should he get to tell you what to do? You lose your footing and stumble but Marlene balances you.
“Ok… you need to drink water.” She mothers you and takes you by the shoulders to lead you back to the bar.
“Yes, mom.” You muster up a joke and take a deep breath.
Another half hour passes. You don’t see Joel but you don’t look for him either. You don’t want to see him or want him to see you. The water helps sober you up just slightly. The music is loud but soothing as it occupies your headspace. The current act was a man and woman duo singing something moody and playing guitar. They played a few songs and then the MC shared that they had just one more performer for tonight.
You lazily look at your phone and it’s so much later than you realized. You turn to ask Marlene if she is ready to go when you see him, walking towards the stage with a guitar slung on his back. Joel was the final performer? You watched him walk up to the stage with disbelief. He wanted you to go home so you wouldn’t see this? It felt forbidden to look and of course you needed to.
You had no idea he was the musical type. Realizing now you didn’t know much about him at all, apparently. The thought of that makes you feel sick.
You feel numb to everything around you. Maybe it was all just a bad dream. It had to be.
He takes his seat on a stool in front of the mic, propping up his guitar on his lap and strums a few chords. The audience is awakened. You hear people mumbling to their friends that they can’t believe Joel is playing again.
Apparently everyone but you.
You want to be angry. Upset that he was so deceptive to you and kept his life so secret. Dismissive about your desire to understand.
Your body betrays you, fluttering at the sight of him. The room is darkened and the light shining on him makes him look even more gorgeous, casting harsh shadows that accent his tight body. His silver streaks in his slicked hair catching the light and his broad frame defined perfectly in his well fitting shirt. His watch reflects the light as he positions his hand to cradle the neck of his guitar. His forearm flexes as he guides his hand over the strings. It makes you wet.
“This one’s…. for Tess.”
Your heart stops.
His voice wavers as he looks down to his guitar, avoiding eye contact with anyone. The room is deadly silent. He has everyone’s attention. You are certain your heartbeat is the loudest thing as you are filled with panic.
Did you hear that right?
He strums his guitar and a low and gravelly voice follows.
Love will abide
Take things in stride
He said… Tess?
Sounds like good advice
But there's no one at my side
You feel a pit in your stomach.
And time washes clean
Love's wounds unseen
He said Tess.
That's what someone told me
But I don't know what it means
'Cause I've done everything I know
To try and make you mine
The profound sadness in his voice hurts. It cuts you like a knife. His guttural but steady low singing moves you. You would never, but it makes you want to run up to him and hold him.
And I think I'm gonna love you
For a long, long time
You hate this. Being in this moment, trapped. It felt like listening to a private conversation. Still, you can’t look away.
Caught in my fears
Blinking back the tears
I can't say you hurt me
When you never let me near
The sharpness in his tone is notable and you see him clench his teeth at those words.
'Cause I've done everything I know
To try and make you mine
The pit in your stomach grows as your fears are being realized before your eyes.
And I think it's going to hurt me
For a long, long time
Joel was in love with her.
Wait for the day
You'll go away
Knowing that you warned me
Of the price I'd have to pay
You look over to where Tess was sitting earlier. She looks hurt and fragile, masked by anger. Not like anything you had seen before. You pity her. You pity yourself.
And life's full of flaws
Who knows the cause?
Living in the memory
Of a love that never was
Joel is hurting. Whatever their relationship was, he certainly wanted it to be different.
'Cause I've done everything I know
To try and change your mind
And you are just a toy for him to play with. You need to leave. You need to be anywhere but right here.
And I think I'm going to miss you
For a long, long time
Suddenly the room is spinning. You are going to be sick. The alcohol and anxiety inside you mix together and you feel like you can’t breathe.
'Cause I've done everything I know
To try and make you mine
And I think I'm gonna love you
Joel looks up and his eyes accidentally find yours for the briefest moment. An unintentional stare. He looks away and down at his guitar, no doubt outraged that you didn’t go home. That you saw him spill his heart and soul out to another woman.
For a long, long time.
Angry that you caught him cheating. The only truth you know.
The loudest silence follows as he strums the last chord. Then, the room erupts in applause and many people stand up to clap and cheer. Even the drunkest person could have watched that performance and felt his pain. You suspected few people realized it was so good because it was so honest.
Marlene looks over at you and can clearly see how ghostly and unwell you look. You shake your head and try to hold back the flood of tears welling up in your eyes.
“Can we… can we go? Please?”
“Yeah, of course.” Marlene puts an arm around you and helps you up. The tears start falling and you can’t stop it. You can’t hold back the flood of sobs and emotion leaving your body.
“Whoa… Whats wrong?” She puts her hand on your cheek and tries in vain to wipe the tears away. Looking extremely concerned and no doubt piecing things together.
You can’t even think properly. You gasp at the air to save you.
“I just need to get out of here.”
You glance up to the stage and Joel has already left it. Probably going to his lover or whatever the fuck that was all about. That sickness feeling surges back. You want to throw up. You want to disappear and erase every moment you had with Joel.
“Come on, I’ll take you home.”
To be continued...
AN: Hi guys, this is my first time writing and posting on here but I felt inspired. Let me know what you think and if it’s any good. I have so many ideas so I want to know if I should keep writing!
It’ll Always Be Her
It’s 6:52 AM, and though her “girlfriend” lies next to her, Paige can’t stop thinking about Azzi. Usually it’s Azzi who occupies this spot next to her, and it’s a lot easier to relax. But last night, Paige hadn’t been feeling great, and she didn’t have the energy to push back against Jess. (It;s a familiar pattern, one that explains how Piage ended up in a relationship with Jess to begin with.) So when Jess insisted that Paige needed to be taken care of, all Paige could do was mutter something inaudible under her breath and collapse face-first into her pillow, forcing herself to sleep earlier than usual.
Now, here she is, wide awake an hour and a half before her alarm is set to go off. Not because she’s ready to face the day, but because she’s uncomfortable with Jess snuggled so close and because her mind won’t stop swirling with thoughts of Azzi, her curly headed best friend. Over the past few weeks, something has shifted between them. Their looks have become more intense, their fingers linger on each other for just a second too long, and there’s an undeniable tension that always leaves Paige wanting more.
She glances at her phone- 7:23. Great. She sighs and tosses and turns, hoping to wake Jess so she can escape the bed as soon as possible. But when Jess begins to stir, she presses her face deeper into Paige’s side and wraps her arm around her waist, holding her tighter. The gesture feels so innocent, so natural… and yet, any touch that isn’t Azzi’s these days feels wrong.
With a frustrated breath, Paige swings her legs off the bed, sitting up quickly. She’s already done with this, already done with the suffocating warmth of Jess beside her.
The movement is enough to wake Jess fully. She blinks up at the time, then at Paige. “Baby, come back to bed. Jess says, her voice thick with sleep, trying to coax Paige back under the covers. “It’s so early.”
Paige doesn’t meet her eyes. She’s focused on the dresser, pulling out a sweatshirt, but her tone is dry when she responds. “I can’t. I’ve got to get to the gym.”
“Come on,” Jess whines, pushing herself up onto her elbows. “You have plenty of time. Please. Just five more minutes.”
Paige pulls on her sweatshirt, the irritation creeping into her voice. “I can’t Jess. I’ve got a full day. Practice, classes, homework. Endorsements to deal with. I don’t have time for this.”
Jess’s face falls. She gets out of bed slowly and steps toward Paige, “You’re acting like I’m some kind of inconvenience. Is it a crime to want to be intimate and spend time with your girlfriend? You’ve barely glanced at me in weeks. What’s going on, Paige? I miss you. I miss us hanging out.”
Paige feels anger welling up inside her now even though she knows she’s being unreasonable. She spins around, facing Jess. “You don’t get it, Jess,” she snaps. “You forced your way into my room last night. You know you never sleep here. I wasn’t asking for your ‘help,” I wasn’t asking for you to be here. You just–” She stops herself, trying to breathe through the frustration because she knows Jess hasn’t done anything wrong, but the words keep spilling out. “I didn’t want this. You didn’t even give me a choice.”
Jess recoils, her face flushing with a mix of hurt and confusion. “What the hell are you talking about Paige? I just wanted to be there for you. I didn’t force myself on you.” Her voice shakes now, the hurt beginning to show. “You’ve been shutting me out, and now you’re blaming me?”
Paige runs a hand through her hair, exasperated trying not to hurt the girl anymore that she already has. “I’m not blaming you, Jess. I’m just saying you’re not giving me any space. “I’m not your project to fix.”
Jess steps back. Her expression hardening. “So, what? You’re just going to keep pushing me away? Because I’ve been nothing but patient with you, but you’re acting like I’ve done something wrong.”
Paige’s breath quickens, her heart racing, “I’m not shutting you out. I’m trying to figure things out. I can’t breathe with you constantly hovering.”
Jess stares at her for a long beat, clearly struggling to process everything. Then, her eyes narrow, and her voice lowers. “ I get it now, It’s her isn’t it?”
Paige’s entire body freezes. Her pulse spikes, and her stomach drops. “Don’t. Don’t bring her into this,” she says, her voice strained. It’s a warning, as everyone knows how protective the blonde is of Azzi. But it’s too late. Hess’s words hang in the air like a cold gust of wind.
“I see the way you look at her. I’m not blind, Paige. It’s so obvious–maybe you need to be more honest with yourself.”
“Don’t bring her up,” Paige snaps, her voice sharp and brittle. She’s seething now, every fiber of her being reacting to the mention of Azzi. “You don’t know what you’re talking about so maybe you should just leave.
Jess’s face pales, her lips trembling with a mix of anger and hurt. But she doesn’t say anything else. She just grabs her things, slinging her back over her shoulder with a sharp motion.
Paige doesn’t look at her as she heads toward the door. She can feel Jess’s gaze on her, but she can’t bring herself to meet it. She’s still shaking, her anger, guilt, and confusion all rising to the surface.
“Fine,” Jess mutters as she reaches the door. Her voice is small, but there’s a venom in it now. “I’ll give you the space you so desperately want. I’ll talk to you later Paige.”
The door clicks shut behind her, and for a long moment, Paige doesn’t move. The weight of everything crashes over her, and the room feels impossible quiet.
She doesn’t know how long she stands there, fighting the wave of emotions, trying to push down the rage, the guilt, the ache in her chest. She runs a hand through her hair, trying to breathe, but all she can think about is Azzi, The way her heart races when she’s near her. The way their eyes meet and everything else seems to fade.
…
Paige slings her gym back over her shoulder, her steps brisk as she tries to shake off the lingering weight of her argument with Jess. She’s almost to the door when she nearly collides with Ice, who’s leaning casually against the wall, earbuds hanging from her neck.
“Whoa, slow down,” Ice says, raising an eyebrow. She’s in her usual attire, a tank top and sweatpants, her hair pulled into a messy bun.
Paige mumbles an apology and moves to step around her, but Ice doesn’t budge. Instead, she gives Paige a long, knowing look.
“Heard everything this morning,” Ice says, her voice low. “Thin walls, you know.”
Paige freezes, her face flushing.
Ice shrugs, a faint teasing smirk playing on her lips. “I’m just saying, it doesn’t take a genius to see that something is building with you and Azzi.”
Paige’s stomach flips at the mention of Azzi. “There’s nothing going on,” she says quickly, but the defensiveness in her tone betrays her.
Ice raises her hands in mock surrender. “Hey, whatever you say.”
With that, she saunters off toward the kitchen, leaving Paige standing in the doorway, her thoughts swirling.
…
Paige pushes herself harder than usual, the basketball's relentless rhythm doing very little to quiet her mind. The music connected to the gym’s speaker halts as her phone buzzes, and she goes to grab it during a water break. It’s a text from Azzi.
Azzi: Morning sunshine. You survive the apocalypse?
Paige smirks despite herself and quickly types back.
Paige: Barely. Already at the gym.
Azzi: Damn, overachiever. You running from something superstar?
Paige hesitates before replying.
Paige: Just needed to clear my head. You free?
Azzi’s response comes almost immediately.
Azzi: For you? Always. Come by whenever.
Paige feels a flicker of relief mixed with anticipation. She fires off a quick See you soon before tossing her phone into her gym back. For the first time that morning, a small part of her feels lighter.
…
Later, Paige finds herself standing outside Azzi’s door, heart pounding. Azzi opens it with that easy, infectious smile that makes Paige’s pulse quicken.
“Hey, gym rat,” Azzi teases, stepping aside to let her in. “ You didn’t even shower first? Bold choice.”
Paige rolls her eyes but smiles. “Don’t push your luck.”
They settle on the couch, the tension between them noticeable even in the mundane moments. Azzi sits close with her arm draped along the back of the couch, fingers brushing against Paige’s shoulder, trying to soothe the older blonde. It’s casual, but it sends a jolt through Paige.
“So,” Azzi begins, her voice soft but curious as she knows the only thing that can possibly cause her to be upset this early in the day is Jess. “What happened with Jess?”
Paige exhales, running a hand through her hair. “She’s upset. Think’s I’m shutting her out.”
Azzi titles her head, “Are you?”
Paige sighs, her fingers fidgeting with the hem of her sweatshirt. “I don’t know. Maybe. Everything just feels…off with her lately.”
Azzi leans back, her fingers trailing casually over the seam of the couch. “You know, Jess never really liked me,” she says, her voice light, but her eyes sharp.
Paige shifts uncomfortably, already sensing where this is headed. “She’s just…territorial.”
Azzi snorts. “That’s one way to put it. From day one, she’s acted like I’m some homewrecker.”
Paige frowns, the memory of that first awkward meeting flashing in her mind. Jess had been cold, almost hostile, when Paige introduced her to Azzi at a team party months ago. Their tension was palpable from the moment they shook hands–Jess’s grip a little too firm, her smile a little too tight.
“She was threatened.” Paige says finally, her voice low. “And honestly? I didn’t know how to handle it. I wasn’t expecting her to call herself my girlfriend out of nowhere.”
Azzi raises an eyebrow, her lips curving into a sly smile. “So, you just went along with it? Classic Paige. Always trying not to hurt anyone’s feelings.”
Paige exhales sharply. “I didn’t want to embarrass her. And it wasn’t a big deal at first. We barely see each other with my schedule.”
Azzi leans in, her gaze intense. “But now?”
Paige doesn’t answer immediately. She’s too focused on the way Azzi’s eyes linger, the way her voice dips when she asks the question. The truth is, things are different now. Ever since Azzi started pushing boundaries–lingering touches, inside jokes that felt a little too intimate, the way she’d lean in close during quiet moments–Paige’s world has felt off-balance.
“It’s complicated,” Paige mutters, though even she knows it’s a cop-out.
Azzi titles her head, her tone both teasing and pointed. “Is it? Or are you just scared to admit what you really want?”
Paige’s heart skips a beat. “What are you getting at?”
Azzi shrugs, her smile softening. “I’m saying that maybe it’s time you stop worrying about everyone else and figure out what you need. You’ve been letting Jess call the shots, but what about you?”
Paige doesn’t respond immediately, her mind racing. She knows Azzi’s right. For months, she’s been coasting, letting Jess dictate the terms of their so-called relationship while keeping her own feelings bottled up, But now, with Azzi in the picture, those feelings are impossible to ignore.
“I don’t want to hurt Jess, she’s done nothing wrong” Paige says finally, her voice barely above a whisper.
Azzi’s expression softens, but there’s still a spark of determination in her eyes. “I know. But you can’t keep living like this, Paige. You deserve more than just going along with something because it’s easier.”
Paige meets Azzi’s gaze, her heart pounding. The air between them feels electric, the unspoken tension crackling like a live wire.
“You’ve been different lately,” Paige says suddenly, her voice quiet but steady. “More confident. More…direct in a sense.”
Azzi smirks, leaning in slightly. “You noticed?”
Paige swallows hard. “Yeah. Hard not to.”
Azzi’s fingers brush against Paige’s, a deliberate, feather-light touch that sends a jolt of warmth through her. The tension between them is palpable, thick enough to cut with a knife, Paige can barely breathe her pulse thundering in her ears. “Maybe I got tired of waiting for you to see what’s been right in front of you this whole time.” Deciding to be a little bold in this moment Azzi continues her voice low and teasing. “You know, it’s kind of funny. Jess is always worried about me stealing you awake.” She leans in just slightly, her smirk deepening. “If she only knew how easy you make it.”
Paige’s eyes narrow, her lips twitching with a reluctant smile. “You’re such a pain.”
“Maybe,” Azzie murmurs, leaning in closer. “But you like it.”
Her voice drops into a playful whisper, and Paige can’t help but laugh, though it comes out a little breathless. Azzi’s confidence is intoxicating, her presence magnetic. Paige feels herself drawn in, like a moth to a flame, even as her mind screams at her to keep her distance.
“Azzi,” Paige warns, though her tone lacks conviction as she glances quickly at Azzi’s lips.
“Relax,” Azzi says softly, leaning back slightly but keeping her hand close to Paige’s. “Just messing with you, P.” Her eyes flicker with amusement, but there’s a softness behind them too, something deeper than Paige can’t ignore.
Paige shakes her head, trying to clear her thoughts. “You really have no off switch, do you?”
“Not when it comes to you,” Azzi replies without missing a beat. She stretches her arms along the back of the couch, her fingers lightly grazing Paige’s shoulder again. “But hey, if you’re not ready to face the truth, I'll back off..for now.”
Paige smirks, leaning back into the couch. “You’re ridiculous.”
“And you’re still here,” Azzi counters, her grin widening.
Paige rolls her eyes, but she can’t deny the truth in Azzi’s words. She’s here because, despite everything, this is where she feels most at ease. Most herself.
“Alright, enough of your games,” Paige says, her voice more lighthearted now. “Pick a movie.”
Azzi grabs the remote, scrolling through the options. “Fine, but you’re not allowed to complain if I pick something you hate.”
“Just pick something, Azzi,” Paige teases.
With a mischievous glint in her eye, Azzi settles on Frozen. As the opening credits roll, she shifts slightly closer, her arm still resting along the back of the couch, fingers now absentmindedly playing with a strand of Paige’s hair.
Paige lets out a soft laugh, shaking her head. “You’re insufferable.”
“And yet, you’re not running away,” Azzi teases, her voice playful but with an edge of truth.
Paide doesn’t respond, her focus on the screen but her thoughts completely elsewhere. The warmth of Azzi’s touch, the sound of her laugh, the way her presence seemed to fill every corner of the room– it’s all too much and not enough at the same time.
For now, they style into the movie, the tension simmering just beneath the surface, waiting for the right moment to bubble over.
…
Later that evening, after leaving Azzi’s apartment, Paige stands in front of her dorm mirror, adjusting her sweatshirt. The number 35 emblazoned across the back–a familiar sight on game days, but tonight it feels different. It’s Azzi’s sweatshirt, one she had thrown on without thinking before heading over to Jess’s room. She swallows hard, already dreading the conversation ahead.
When Paige finally knocks, Jess opens the door with a tired expression. Her eyes immediately flick to the sweatshirt, and for a moment, her jaw tightens. She leans against the doorframe, arms crossed, her voice laced with sarcasm.
“Nice sweatshirt,” Jess says, her tone sharpy but quiet. “Azzi’s right? Gues you managed to check that off your long list of things you ‘needed’ to do today.”
Paige feels her stomach drop, guilt mingling with irritation. “Jess–” she says with a warning tone, not wanting the girl in front of her to bring up her best friend.
Jess raises her hand, shaking her head. “Don’t. I don’t have the energy for this right now.” Her voice is weary, the edge from before softening into something more fragile.
Paige’s brow furrows. “What’s going on?”
Jess steps back, motoning for Paige to come in. She sits on the edge of the bed, running a hand through her hair. “Something happened with my family,” she says, her voice barely above a whisper. “I have to go back home for a few weeks.”
Paige blinks, the weight of Jess’s words settling over her. “What? Is everything okay?”
Jess shrugs, her gaze fixed on the floor. “Not really. My dad’s in the hospital. It’s serious, and my mom’s barely holding it together.”
“Jess, “I’m so sorry,” Paige says, her voice soft. She moves to sit beside Jess, hesitating before placing a stiff hand on her shoulder.
Jess offers a small, tight smile. “Thanks. I just..I need to be there for them, you know?”
Paige nods. “Of course. You should be with your family.”
They sit in silence for a moment, the tension between them shifting into something more somber. Finally, Jess exhales deeply and looks at Paige. “I hope we can figure things out when I get back. I hate feeling like this..like weren’t not on the same page.”
Paige’s chest tightens as she knows exactly how she feels. “Me too,” she says quietly, though the words feel hollow.
Jess gives her a lingering look, then stands. “I’ll be gone early tomorrow. Just..take care of yourself, so we can figure us out, okay?”
Paige nods again, standing. “You too, Let me know if you need anything.”
Jess offers a faint smile, but her eyes betray a mix of sadness and exhaustion. “I will.”
As Paige steps out of the room, the door closes softly behind her, leaving her alone in the hallway. She leans against the wall for a moment, taking a deep breath, before heading back to Azzi’s room. In her chest she feels a mixture of guilt and relief, but she pushes them both aside as she walks down the hall.
…
When Paige returns to Azzi’s apartment, Azzi greets her with a smirk and a raised eyebrow. She leans casually against the doorframe, arms crossed, clearly enjoying herself.
“Well, well,’ Azzi drawls eyes flicking to the sweatshirt Paige is still wearing. “I see you decided to have the talk with Jess while rocking my number. Bold move.”
Paige sighs, stepping inside. “Don’t start.”
Azzi chuckles, closing the door behind her. “I’m just saying, P. You’ve got some interesting fashion choices for serious conversations.”
Paige rolls her eyes, but she can’t hide the slight flush in her cheeks. “It wasn’t intentional. I just grabbed something before heading out.”
Azzi steps closer, her smirk softening into something more playful. “Well, intentional or not, you look good in it.” Her eyes sweep over Paige, and her voice drops slightly. “Really good.”
Paige’s breath catches for a moment, her heart pounding as she feels the tension between them crackle to life again. She tries to brush it off with a nervous laugh. “You’re insufferable.”
Azzi grins, taking another step closer until they’re just a breath apart.”And yet, you keep coming back.”
Paige doesn’t have a clever comeback this time. She’s too focused on the way Azzi’s gaze lingers on her, the way her fingers lightly brush against Paige’s wrist, sending a jolt of warmth through her.
“I can’t think straight around you.” Paige admits softly, almost to herself.
Azzi’s smile deepens, a mix of satisfaction and something softer. “Good,” she murmurs, her fingers trailing up to toy with the hem of the sweatshirt. “Because I like you exactly like this.”
Paige swallows hard, her pulse racing. She doesn’t resist when Azzi gently tugs her toward the couch, but instead of sitting down, Azzi stops, tilting her head toward the bedroom.
“Come on,” Azzi says, her voice low and inviting, “Let’s get some sleep. You’ve had a long day.”
As they step into the room, Paige pauses feeling a mix of anticipation and nervous energy, Azzi, catching the hesitation gives her usual reasoning smile but gentler.
“Relax,” Azzi murmurs, her voice low and soothing. “You know we’d never do anything while you’re with Jess. We’re better than that.”
Paige feels a mix of relief and guilt that swirl inside her. Azzi’s words aren’t just reassurance– they’re a reminder of the trust and respect that anchor their connection. She nods slowly, her heart steadying a little.
“I know,” Paige whispers, her voice almost breaking.
Azii offers her a small, understanding smile before gently tugging her toward the bed. “Now come on. Let’s get some sleep.”
Paige lets herself be led, but once they reach the bed, she takes the initiative. She slips under the covers and, before Azzi can settle, gently pulls her down beside her. Azzi raises an eyebrow, but before she can say anything, Paige wraps an arm around her waist and tugs her close, resting her chin on Azzi’s shoulder.
The room falls into a comfortable silence, their breaths syncing as the tension from earlier melts into a quiet intimacy. Paige tightens her hold slightly, her fingers brushing against Azzi’s stomach, grounding herself in the moment. A
Azzi tilts her head slightly, her voice soft. “You’re really something, P.”
Paige smiles, her heart full in a way she can’t quite describe. All thoughts of Jess are completely absent from her mind. “Goodnight, Az.”
“Night, superstar,” Azzi murmurs, her voice laced with contentment.
In the safety of each other’s arms, they drift off, the unspoken feelings between them lingering like a promise in the quiet night.
The Underworld Beneth Piltover Chapter four:The Quiet Declaration
sevika x reader
Takes place in pre-season one
summary: sevika comes to borrow a book from you and ends up realizing maybe she wants to be more then friends and panics
warning: gay panic.
notes: Please don’t forget this is taking place before season one‼️ I love you guys stay safe during the holiday seasons xoxox
The faint knock on your apartment door startled you. You had just gotten home after a long shift, eager to sink into the couch and let the exhaustion melt away. Setting your bag down, you hesitated. You weren’t expecting anyone.
“Who is it?” you called, a trace of unease creeping into your voice.
“It’s Sevika,” came the familiar voice on the other side.
Your shoulders relaxed immediately, a soft smile tugging at your lips. Sevika. Of course. She hadn’t been at work today, and you’d caught yourself missing her presence—a fact you weren’t quite ready to admit even to yourself.
You opened the door, finding her standing there. Her usual stoic expression was replaced with something lighter, though she was clearly trying to play it cool.
“Hey,” she said, hands tucked into her coat pockets. “You promised.”
You blinked, confused for a moment, until she clarified, her tone teasing. “You said if I stayed off my leg, you’d give me a book to borrow.”
You tilted your head, narrowing your eyes at her. “Wait a minute. That’s not what I promised. I said I’d *make* you read, remember? You teased me about books being for nerds.”
She grinned, unbothered. “I don’t recall saying anything like that.”
You rolled your eyes, stepping aside to let her in. “Fine, come on.”
As you led her into the living room, her gaze fell on the three towering stacks of books sitting on your side table. Her eyebrows shot up.
“This is how you keep them stored?” she asked, pointing at the precarious piles.
You crossed your arms, mock offended. “Yes, what about it?”
“No bookshelf?” she teased, smirking.
Your eyes flicked to the pile of unassembled wood and nails in the corner of the room, and you sighed. “I haven’t exactly had the time to build it yet.”
Her grin widened, a quiet chuckle escaping her. “You? Too busy to build something? Hard to believe.”
You shot her a playful glare, giving her shoulder a light smack. “Don’t start. Now, what are you looking for?”
She paused, her smirk softening as her expression grew thoughtful. “Something to help me escape this madness” she murmured.
You nodded, turning to the stacks. After a moment of searching, you pulled out a worn but beloved fantasy novel. “Here,” you said, handing it to her. “This should do the trick.”
She took it, eyeing the cover with a skeptical sigh. “Fantasy, huh?”
“Anything to get your mind off the real world,” you replied.
Her lips quirked up in a half-smile, but you noticed the way her shoulders slumped. She flipped through the first few pages, her eyes skimming the words, and you realized she wasn’t eager to leave.
“Tea?” you offered suddenly, already heading toward the kitchen.
“Sure, whatever,” she said, but her tone was lighter, and you caught the briefest flicker of excitement in her eyes.
You smiled to yourself as you poured water into the kettle, setting it to boil. When the tea was ready, you brought two mugs into the living room, handing one to Sevika.
“This is cheesy,” she remarked, still flipping through the book as she took the mug.
You shrugged, sitting down beside her. “It’s supposed to be. Just give it a chance.”
She hummed in response, sipping the tea as she read.
“What’s your favorite book?” she asked after a while, not looking up.
You hesitated, glancing at the stacks. “I can’t choose. I love all of them the same,” you said with a small shrug.
She hummed again, quieter this time, almost nonverbal. You noticed how her usual sharp edges softened in these moments—how comfortable she seemed.
“How’s your leg healing?” you asked gently, breaking the silence.
“All better now,” she said, her tone casual, though her eyes flicked to you with a faint glint of something warmer. “Thanks to you.”
You ducked your head, feeling a blush creep up your cheeks. “I’m glad you’re feeling better.”
The quiet lingered, heavy with something unspoken. Sevika’s smile faded suddenly, her expression closing off.
“What’s wrong?” you asked, frowning.
“Nothing,” she muttered, standing abruptly. “I should get going.”
“But—” You stared, bewildered, as she left her tea untouched on the table and headed for the door.
“Thanks for the book,” she said over her shoulder, and before you could respond, the door clicked shut behind her.
For a moment, you just sat there, confused and a little hurt. The warmth she’d brought into the room seemed to vanish with her, leaving you alone again.
---
As the door clicked shut behind her, Sevika paused in the dimly lit hallway, her back against the cold wall. Her chest felt tight, her thoughts swirling in a way she couldn’t control.
What the hell was she doing?
She’d gone to your place intending to keep things simple—a quick stop to grab a book, tease you a little, and leave. But then you’d smiled at her, the kind of smile that made her knees feel weak. The kind of smile that made her heart ache in ways she didn’t want to name.
She clenched her fists, trying to steady her breathing. You were just... you. Sweet, patient, and stubborn as hell when it came to her well-being. But you also had a way of looking at her—like she wasn’t just Silco’s enforcer, the muscle of the Undercity. Like you saw her as something more.
That terrified her.
“Pull it together,” she muttered under her breath, shaking her head.
But the truth was, every time you smiled or laughed, she felt her carefully built walls start to crack. She didn’t know what to do with that—didn’t know how to handle the warmth you brought into her life.
And then there was the way you’d looked when she’d left. Disappointed. Hurt. It had gnawed at her the entire night as she lied in bed.
She raked a hand through her hair, glancing down at the book in her hand. She didn’t care about the damn book, not really. She cared about you.
Sevika’s jaw tightened. She had to make it up to you. She couldn’t keep running every time things got too close, couldn’t keep pretending she didn’t care.
The next day, she found herself at your apartment again—not to see you, but to do something she hoped would show you how much she appreciated you, even if she couldn’t say it out loud.
Building the bookshelf wasn’t about the books. It was about you. The way your face lit up when you talked about your favorite stories, the way you defended your messy stacks like they were treasures.
When she finished, she stepped back to admire her work. The bookshelf wasn’t perfect—she wasn’t a carpenter—but it was sturdy and solid, and it felt like a piece of her she was leaving behind.
As she closed your door softly behind her, Sevika let out a breath she hadn’t realized she’d been holding.
She still didn’t understand everything she felt when it came to you. But for the first time, she didn’t feel the urge to run. Instead, she hoped you’d see the bookshelf and understand what she couldn’t say.
---
When you got home that evening, though, the sight that greeted you stopped you in your tracks.
The pile of wood and nails in the corner of your living room was gone. In its place stood a perfectly built bookshelf, solid and sturdy. The books that had once been stacked precariously on your table were neatly arranged beside it, left for you to decide how to organize them.
You stared at it, your mouth falling open in disbelief. Running your fingers along the polished edges, you couldn’t help but smile.
“Sevika…” you murmured to yourself, shaking your head in quiet amazement.
Somehow, this simple act of kindness felt like the loudest declaration she could have made.
--------------------------
The sofa has never felt more comfortable. Your body falls limp onto the cushions, head pillowed on Leo's thighs as your eyes close against the low light in the living room.
Leo hums, setting down his phone and carding a warm hand through your hair. "Hey, gorgeous," he smiles down at you, taking in your exhausted appearance. "Long day?"
"You have no idea," you mumble against his jeans, relaxing minutely at the soothing touch. "Do I have to do a job? Like, is it entirely necessary?"
"Nope." Leo grins down at you with a raised eyebrow. "Quit. Be my housewife, just lay around all day and let me love on you when I get home from work and give you presents."
You laugh tiredly, rolling so you're on your back with your face looking up at Leo. "In this economy? I'm just whining, babe, I'm just... tired, y'know? Everything was on my nerves, I felt like I was going insane."
"Well..." Leo begins, a finger delicately tracing the side of your face. "I can think of a few ways to help with that."
The temptation is there, interest simmering low in my gut, but you can just about keep your eyes open. You shake your head softly, apologetic eyes looking up at Leo. "I'm actually exhausted, honey, I don't think-"
"Then don't think." Leo cuts you off, gentle but firm as his finger traces down your neck to the neckline of your top. "Don't think, don't speak, don't worry, okay? Let me take care of my girl."
He says it so sincerely, eyes both wanting and earnest, and warmth starts to pool in your stomach at the idea of not having to do anything, just letting Leo touch you and make you feel good without any effort.
With a small but excited smirk, you bite your lip. "Well, I'd have to be crazy to turn that down."
"You are crazy," Leo teases, gently moving out from under your head to scoop you up off the sofa. "But you're my crazy, now shh, I'm busy."
Holding you in his arms, Leo makes his way to the bedroom and gently places you on the bed. With dexterous fingers, he undoes and pulls off your clothes, leaving you in your underwear on the bed. He ignores your questioning look when he leaves that on, instead finding one of his t-shirts and pulling it over your head.
"How can someone be so cute and hot at the same time, hm?" he murmurs, more to himself than you. He leaves you on the bed and returns from the bathroom with makeup remover, kneeling between your legs as they hang off the bed.
"Close your eyes, baby."
He carefully takes off your makeup, pressing kisses to your bare skin whenever he finishes with an area of your face. "There, now you can go straight to sleep when I'm done with you."
"That is the sweetest way anyone has ever told me they're going to tire me out," you laugh quietly, absently fiddling with the hem of the t-shirt.
Leo frowns, pressing a finger to your lips. "Shh, no talking; my girl has been talking all day, that voice is for moans and telling me if you want to stop, understand?"
You nod meekly, smile on your lips as you press a kiss to the tip of his finger. He smiles proudly, kissing your forehead in return. "Good job, baby."
His hands cup your face, bringing you into a sweet kiss that quicky turns heated. His tongue presses against the seam of your lips, groaning softly as you relent under the touch. You're pushed back onto the bed, Leo removing his hands from your face to move you backwards to he can join you on the bed, lips and tongue still moving against yours.
With one hand, he holds both of your wrists above your head, the other hand beginning to roam your body like he's learning it all over again. Leo's thumb finds one of your nipples through the fabric of the t-shirt, teasing lightly at it until it hardens and pokes against the material. He mirrors the action on your other breast, his lips trailing down your jaw just to he can hear the sweet gasps and moans that he was muffling with his mouth.
"So pretty," he breathes against your ear, leaving your hands above your head as both his hands grope and knead at your breasts, a smirk pressed against your jaw as he pinches your nipples lightly and making you gasp in surprise.
"Leo-"
He makes a disappointed sound, and pinches one of your nipples harder. "What did I say about talking, hm? You're not so tired you can't remember simple instructions, are you? I know my baby doesn't want me to spank her, right?"
Closing your mouth promptly, you shake your head quickly. Leo rewards you with another forehead kiss, his hands moving away from your chest to glide over your clothed waist to your hips.
"That's right," he hums, fingers hooking into the elastic of your underwear and dragging it down to throw it in the direction of the laundry basket. Bringing one hand back up, he taps two fingers against your lips. "Open."
Obediently, you part your lips, making a soft noise of surprise as Leo pushes three fingers into your mouth. He ignores it, pressing against your tongue and coating his fingers in spit before he pulls them out.
"Good girl," he whispers, kissing your still-open mouth and licking at the saliva covering your lips. The three spit-slick digits disappear from your sight, but rapidly draw your attention as Leo slips them between your legs.
"So wet for me," he coos, cupping and rubbing your folds and spreading the mix of your spit and arousal around your entrance.
Without warning, he shoves all three fingers inside you. You cry out and grip the sheets above your head, eyes wide as he pumps his hand in and out rapidly. His free hand cups your cheek, thumb smoothing over your cheekbone.
"Shh, shh, I wanna get you ready quickly, okay? I know it's a lot, but you can take it, can't you? Sweet girl, you look so gorgeous, my little hardworker all turned on and needy."
His fingers press in as deep as they can go, and he just holds them there, keeping them still as he pulls his hand away from your cheek and works on undoing his jeans. With one hand, he undresses his bottom half, cock freed from his underwear and slapping against his top. It leaves a tiny damp spot of precum staining the fabric, and your mouth waters at the sight.
Leo laughs as you lick your lips, curling his fingers inside you to bring your attention back. "You'll get my dick, babe, just not in that pretty little mouth."
He withdraws his fingers from you, and wraps his hand around his cock with a soft hiss. Stroking himself slowly and lazily, Leo manhandles you onto your side, coaxing you to lay your head on the pillows as he settles in behind you. He shifts so your hips are aligned, his free hand lifting your leg a little so he can nudge the head of his cock against your opening.
"Relax for me, gorgeous," he whispers, peppering kisses at the back of your neck as he sinks inside you, pushing his way into your tight, hot pussy with a low, throaty groan.
Your eyes flutter closed with a long, needy moan, pushing your hips back as he fills you up inch by inch until you can feel his hips flush against your ass. He pauses there, burying his face in your hair as he breathes slowly and deeply to get used to the feeling of you around him.
After a minute, Leo sighs, shifting a little to get comfortable. "There we go, baby, now you can sleep." You lay still for a second, mouth opening and closing, your desire to do as you're told and not talk warring with the desire to know what the fuck he's talking about.
Leo, knowing you inside and out, huffs a laugh against your shoulder, kissing it sweetly. "You heard me, sweet girl. You're gonna take a nap, and you're gonna keep my cock nice and warm for me." His arm is slung over your waist, his hand splayed over your stomach to keep you close.
Slowly, you nod. You're still exhausted, despite his actions, and it's... kinda nice, having him so close, warming you inside and out. Leo shushes you gently, arranging your arms and legs so you're comfy, both of you settling into the bed.
It's all too easy to doze off, your eyes fluttering closed again and your breathing evening out to match Leo's steady, rhythmic movements of his chest.
Leo is kind of proud of himself, having lulled you to sleep stuffed full of his dick, cuddling you close as you keep him warm and snug inside you. He can feel himself beginning to fall asleep too, and he buries his face against the nape of your neck with a content sigh.
You wake up slowly, groggily, your body rocking slightly as your surface from sleep. A soft, sleepy and slightly confused moan falls from your lips, and Leo answers with a sharper thrust of his hips.
"There you are," he purrs, his hands now gripping your hips as he fucks in and out of you. "You were pretty deep asleep, baby, laid so nicely for me while I used you."
The words and movements send pleasurable heat curling in your stomach, pussy fluttering around his cock as you surrender to the feeling without a moment's hesitation. Leo kisses and nips gently at your neck, one hand slipping down to gather some of your arousal on his fingers and beginning to circle your clit.
"That's it, just relax," he whispers, voice carrying a shaky edge as he nears his climax. "Let me take care of you, gonna make you feel so good, baby..."
Everything is hot and hazy, your mind only able to pay attention to the way Leo's cock bumps against that particular spot inside you every time he pushes back in, over and over and over. Pressure builds in the depths of your gut, your toes curling as Leo's fingers coax more and more sweet, half-awake noises from you, feeling your walls convulsing around him.
"You gonna come for me?" he pants, a needy, desperate sound that spurs you on. "Gonna come all over my dick, gorgeous? Yeah, I know you are, I can feel how close you are, baby, come for me so I can fill you with my cum."
It only takes a few more seconds before the tension in your body reaches a tipping point, and your lips part in a broken sob as you come around his dick. Leo murmurs praise into your ear, fucking you through it as he chases his own orgasm.
"Did so well for me, sweet girl, fuck, feels so fucking good when you come, looks so pretty- you're gonna let me come in you, yeah? Let me fuck you full of my cum like a good girl?"
You nod languidly, deliciously hazy and spent and wanting nothing more than to feel Leo finish inside you. He cuddles you closer, arms wrapping around your waist as he fucks inside you in a last few disjointed thrusts.
"O-Oh, fuck, yes, feels so good, baby, oh, my sweet girl, I'm coming, I'm coming-!"
Leo presses a guttural moan into your shoulder, his body trembling as he finishes inside you, painting your insides sticky-white. You groan softly, oversensitive but satisfied as you feel him fill you up.
Panting hard, Leo slowly comes down from his high, stroking your soft skin anywhere he can reach. He clears his throat, nose dragging against the back of your head. "How're you feeling, gorgeous?"
Breathing a laugh, you find one of his hands and lace your fingers with his. "Good. Better."
"Mm, good," he mumbles, pressing a smile against your hair as he squeezes your fingers. "...food?"
You grin, even as he gently pulls himself out of you. "Definitely."
Jane The Killer x Fem!AFAB!Reader || Smutshot
Plot: Jane has been thinking about you, her baby girl, alllll day and wants to ravish you so bad.
Warnings: Mommy kink, strap use, and uh grinding on jeans?
As soon as you get home at the end of a long day, your girlfriend's there to greet you. After all, she works nights. The dead of night- just like her inky black eyes.
You're never quite sure how she gets in without a key, when all the entrances are locked, but you've long since stopped being creeped out by that. Not since you fell in love with her.
"I've been thinking about you for hours, sweetheart. How was your day?" With gentle fingers, she takes your bag off your shoulder and hangs it up. Then draws her arms up over your shoulders and links her fingers together behind your neck.
Her voice is gentle; soothing. Her touch is deft and deliberate.
She's in mommy mode. You're going to get fucked tonight.
"Tiring," You sigh, a smile crossing your face as you immediately begin to relax at the anticipation. Your fingers smooth over her hips while your gaze flickers down to her lips.
Immediately a sharp black nail digs into the soft skin beneath your chin, nudging your face upwards so you're looking at her eyes. "Baby... manners. My eyes are up here, hm?"
"Sorry." A little giggle slips out, teasing. "-Mommy."
She smirks. She loves it when you call her that; her sweet little baby in her place. "You're so cute... Tell me more about your day."
"... Well... " As you tell her generally how your day went, Jane's hands trail down your body and slip beneath the waistband of your pants. Carefully, she kneels and pulls them down your legs, pressing a few feather-light kisses to random places on your thighs. Quietly, with no intention of interrupting your talking, she asks you to step, honey. You do as you're asked obediently, stepping out of your pants so she can discard them, and keep on telling her about your day.
Next her soft fingers slip back up your legs, slide ever so softly over your still-clothed and throbbing cunt, under your shirt and around your body; pressing warm kisses to your face while she unclips your bra.
After that restrictive and scratchy item is gone you feel a million times better, and mommy even gives your poor aching breasts a thoughtful rub. Squeazing them nicely and massaging out all the stress from your day. Her fingers on your bare tits never fail to make you needy for her. You have to stop talking as she does this, rubbing over your very sensitive perks, and close your eyes. Whimpering.
"Go on, babygirl, I know there's more... I wanna hear everything. So I know exactly how to take of you, okay?"
You force your eyes open a crack to look at her. Her deep, soulless, inky eyes. There's a caring expression on her face even with her hands taking full greedy advantage of your bareness under your shirt. She really cares.
And she also really wants you tonight.
Giving a nod, you go on. For a few minutes she just nods along sympathetically and continues to play with your tits, rotating between rubbing them and squeezing them; thoroughly enjoying the feel of them while you become absolute putty in her hands. Then she leans in, and starts kissing you again while you talk. More featherlight kisses, all over your face. Your forehead, your temples, your cheeks. Then she nips along your jaw line, and sucks and licks that spot on your neck that drives you crazy.
When you're done with your day, she pulls away and turns you around so your ass is to her crotch. She slips a hand into the front of your underwear, and feels how sopping wet you've gotten. "Thank you, baby, thats enough... Sounds to me like it's been a long day, hm?" She noses your hair. "... Let mommy take care of you, sweetie."
You're so undone for her and her gentle caring touches that you can only hum in responce. The feel of her fingers drawing along your slit already a lot for you. When they slip in between your folds, diving into your hot, drenched pussy, your lips part against your will and a moan rolls off your tongue; your feet step a bit further apart from each other so she can reach you better.
Thankfully Jane doesn't play with you too much. When she says she's going to take care of you, she will. Her deft fingers purposefully rub your slick little clit until you're keening, holding yourself up with a hand on the wall closest to you, barely standing. "J- Janey!~ "
"Hmm, no,.. sweet, but that's not what you call me, honey. So what was that again??"
Your face feels hot as coals, sputtering the correct moniker, literally putty in her hands right now. It was one thing calling her this as a tease, a little but of fun,.. it was entirely another calling her mommy with her fingers knuckle deep moving languidly inside you. "M- Mommy,.. "
"Perfect, baby." She praises, and a smirk graces her lips when you clench around her fingers hearing it. "Ohhh, you are so cute."
As she continues to finger you towards an orgasm, you get so wet the slick covers her hand, both of you dripping all over your thighs. Whenever you can't help it and you hump her hand, Jane gives you a kiss on the cheek. "Go ahead, sweetheart, do it again. It's okay."
After a few blissful minutes of this, Jane driving you further and further towards your sweet, aching orgasm- she pulls her hand away from you and separates carefully from your body; settling into the armchair. You whimper and turn around, basically pouting because that felt so good and how could mommy just abandon you like that-
When you notice something you didn't see before. There's a bulge in her jeans.
You should've recognised it before, you realise now. Jane rarely wears jeans in the first place. Only when she wanted to tease you; when she wanted to see you mindlessly grinding on her strap through rough boyfriend jeans. A rush of excitement floods you zeroing in on your beautiful girlfriend almost manspreading with a lazy smirk on her pretty lips.
"Panties off, baby girl. Come and ride mommy, now."
With a nod, you slip the article off and leave it on the floor before straddling Jane's waist.
Finally your pleasure is in your own hands as you begin gently rubbing your dripping, throbbing heat over the beautiful bulge in her jeans. Immediately the spot developed a wet patch, and the feeling of Jane's hands on your hips drives you a little crazy.
When your head gets foggy, she can tell. When your head gets foggy and you can't think anymore, she slips her hands under your shirt and starts to play with your tits again. Squeezing the pretty mounds deliciously in her palms, rubbing your nippers with the pads of her thumbs, massaging the daily soreness thoroughly out of them. She loves it so much, the feeling of your perfect breasts all for her to play with while you fuck yourself dumb on her strap beneath her jeans. She could do this for hours, but she should take proper care of her girl, eventually.
When Jane decides that it's time, she breaks you out of the dirty slutty trance you'd slipped into by grinding back, rolling hips directly against yours, causing you to gasp and whimper; needing more of that.
In a second, Jane's unbuttoned her jeans, unzipped them, and has the black strap you love so much pointed directly at your pussy.
"... I think you're ready for this now, honey."
"I'm gonna cum." You're gonna cum just from all this foreplay. How can you handle t h i s from mommy?? She spoils you too much.
As if eager to make you squeeze and cum on her cock, Jane thrusts into your messy hole immediately. It's obscenely easy, considering how wet you are; she just slides in, filling you up and rubbing against your clit.
Her deep, hard thrusts up into you spur you to roll with the motions, muttering 'mommy' 'mommy' 'mommy' ever time she pounds back into you, the closer you get to an orgasm.
"Mommy mommy mommy," You whisper, eyes closed, bouncing on her plastic dick.
"This is just what mommy wanted today sweetheart, thank you so much for being so good."
"Mommy mommy mommy mo- " You're getting louder, the praise going to your head and melting away your brain. Shame. Embarrassment. And guilt.
"You're always so perfect. Mommy loves you so much."
With that, you kiss her; delving your tongue into her mouth. With a few more thrusts, you come totally apart on her.
You cum harder then you have in months, then carefully sink down on her strap once more; remaining right there while the waives of your orgasm wash over you. Kissing your pretty lady gently on the lips now, over and over, tasting her tongue and her lipstick, and her cheeks and her jaw and her neck.
