i understand the answer as always is capitalism. but why arent superhero movies one part kitschy megamindy fun and two parts old-school sci fi esque questions about justice and ethics

#from the desk #like ok. so youre going to make a genre where every protagonist is expressly a Hero. and we’re not going to interrogate what those #different versions of heroism are? and especially in some kinda universe with established large superhuman populations #can we talk about the ethics of having healing powers? the infrastuctural ramifications of a city that gets smashed up regularly?
