me when ive ordered myself a lil smth in the mail and i have smth to look forward to
#three tragedies by renaissance women writers (1999) featuring elizabeth cary jane lumley and mary sidney#it hasnt even shipped yet but listen. im so happy#its hardcover!#when i get it im gonna kiss it. but probably not bc it's a book my own age i bet it has a lot of germs on it#tales from diana#i mean who cleans their books?#like not just wipe the dust off em but disinfects em? nobody#youll ruin them lol theyre just made of paper silly#altho this book being printed in the year i was born has me wondering what the ratio of books i have is#between books printed before i was born and books printed after#bc most of my books are used! and lord i know a lot of that means theyre older than me#but also. not all old books are from like the 1980s or before. ive honestly never known#plus i do have still a fair number of books i bought new to rule out#idk. i wonder. ill have to count sometime but. you know what. it'd probably take at least an entire day. lol#im in desperate need to just organize my books by SOMETHING (since they well overflow the shelf)#im in no shape to run that survey any time soon
