Oof... Well, first things first, everyone has different preferences & BL is not my cup of tea. Fujos are also a toxic breed so I have no interest in engaging with them either.

In regards to zigzag (a lovely nickname given to this ship by many 🤪)... I find Get0 unappealing in general & am mostly neutral to his character. I don't get why he's so popular, lol? I personally find it almost offensive that ppl ship him with someone as handsome as Gojo. 💀

They are canonically best friends & nothing more (reiterated time & again by Gege & his affiliates). Their views didn't align in the end, hence they parted ways & became enemies. Despite this, Gojo still saw him as his best friend, a huge part of his "springtime of youth," & regretted not being able to help him back then. Get0 was also the cause for Gojo's identity crisis about being the strongest & was jealous of Gojo's strength, but certain ppl conveniently forget that 😒.

Zigzag would've been just another ship I don't pay attention to. Thank their insane fandom, especially the Get0 stans, for being the major cause of my intense dislike for this ship, however. Their toxicity towards other shippers (esp my fandom), misinformation, & misinterpretations of Gojo's & Get0's characters have solidified this ship as a MAJOR NOTP for me. I can't stand it with every fiber of my being. 😬

This meme encompasses that:

They act like they're canon when they're not. There's literally NO canon evidence to support their ship. Everything they claim as evidence has been debunked & has a shounen-esque explanation for it. They choose to ignore it, however, & it doesn't help that big accounts on Twitter, Tik Tok & other platforms use zigzag for clout & spread lies 🙄. All they really have are the three M's: mistranslations, misinformation, & misinterpretations 💀.

They can ship in their own lane but these freaks go out of their way to harrass others, even fanartists of other Gojo ships & neutral translators. Then they go & victimize themselves when they get called out 🙄. They like to act innocent & blame others but everyone knows it's always them who start things. It's no wonder they've made enemies of every corner of the JJK fandom. They may have the numbers but they're surely in the same boat as the rest of us shippers 🤷‍♀️. We're all in Delulu Land.

They hate Utahime for no reason other than that she's shipped with Gojo. You might not believe the insane things I've seen them say about her. Despite her being a minor side character, & her only screentime has been to help others, esp Gojo, they hate on her as if she was the main villain. Heck, not even Sukuna gets this much hate from them 💀. They spite-ship her with her bestie Shoko or even that bum Kusakabe just to "get her out of the way" of their mid ship but they don't actually care for either ship. They even drag Gojo thru the mud when hating on GojoHime, mischaracterizing him by saying things like he hates women 💀. They hate on GojoHime as if it was the worst ship anyone could have in JJK.

They cannot stand how popular GojoHime is, especially in Japan (according to Pixiv, they're the most popular M/F ship & #6 overall in JJK 👀).

They also have the audacity to claim they care more about Utahime than us GojoHime fans do. They say we mischaracterize her & how dare we ship her with a man she hates? Like?? Where is their Utahime content, like fanart, headcanons & theories? When do they ever talk about her unless it's to hate on her & try to discredit our ship? I've heard they even villainize her in their zigzag fics, make her OOC 💀. But they understand her better? 🙄

It really comes to show that they genuinely see Utahime as a threat 🤣. But why, tho, if they claim that GojoHime has nothing to stand on? That it doesn't make sense? 👀 Why are they so insecure if they're "so canon"?

They also feminize Get0 & have made some very disturbing posts, yet they hate on female characters? Those that "get in the way" of their non-canon mlm ships? Even Gojo self-shippers hate on Utahime but are okay with Get0? 🙄 I know this word gets thrown around a lot but these ppl are misogynists...

Zigzags should go read actual BL instead of self-queerbaiting with a battle shounen manga 💀. They're as delusional as Naruto & Sasuke shippers (and those 2 had at least a better written dynamic than Gojo & Get0 💀. Even Gojo & Sukuna had a more interesting dynamic than them imo 🤣).

It annoys me when even some GojoHime shippers include past/implied zigzag in their fics, & worse without tagging. I ignore the properly tagged ones & immediately drop the ones that aren't. Anyway, I was wondering...do you think Kusakabe has a binding vow that involves removing things, not restricted to but also including his clothes. Hear me out-

I've been reading chapter 254 for the umpteenth time and it got me wondering if that's a way he found to activate his Simple Domain, much like Nanami wraps his tie around his hand to activate Overtime. The panel in which he removes his suit jacket shows that he dodged some slashes from Sukuna that made a structure crumble, but the man came out unscathed. The same happened in Shibuya, he had all of his clothes on then some of them poofed out of existence once Panda found him.

Final question: would he have defeated Sukuna if he had opted to throw hands shirtless instead of unleashing Hazy Moon-

You bring up so many good Kusa topics, and I'm so excited to talk about all of them!! Let's start with your question about the binding vow and then move on to the portion about his jacket, where I'll analyze that entire section of the fight. (bless my friend @jjk-eugie who has to put up with this level of my Kusa analysis literally every day)

First question: Binding Vows. Kusakabe's Simple Domain does not have any type of binding vow. Gojo confirms this in Ch 254. "Kusakabe does it without a binding vow and with a super-wide range." Most sorcerers need one for SD, but Atsuya's skill level is far beyond anyone who can use Simple Domain.

Canonically, Simple Domain has different rules and applications depending on who is casting it and who or what is affected by it. Kusakabe's is multi-functional, and he tailors its use to suit specific situations. It can be used offensively or defensively, either on its own or in conjunction with New Shadow Style sword drawing, to achieve various boosts and effects.

OK! Moving on to your question about the jacket. So, while it's not any sort of binding vow, the trenchcoat, and later the suit jacket, play a crucial role in his fighting technique. This entire scene beautifully demonstrates Kusakabe's mastery of both martial arts and sorcery.

First, the trenchcoat. I've labeled these panels with letters and directional arrows so the explanations are easier to visualize. Read L to R (yes, I know, it's the opposite of manga, but go with it for this post).

(Left) Atsuya, realizing that his katana is broken, (Right) quickly pulls the trenchcoat down in front of Sukuna's face to conceal the direction of his next attack.

(Left) The trenchcoat is now over Sukuna's face (A), and Atsuya hits him with two strikes - (B) a straight jab and (C) an open-palmed backhand.

(Right) Sukuna throws the jacket aside so he can see (D), but without being able to anticipate the direction, he only manages to partly deflect Kuskabe's hook kick targeted at his head (E). Atsuya is employing a typical martial arts strategy -- when you already have rotational energy from your initial attack (in this case, a punch), you can use that momentum to continue moving in that direction if your opponent tries to move out of range. A kick often follows the punch because the leg has a much longer range.

(Left) Kusakabe pulls his jacket off with his right hand (A) but continues to hold it. At the same time, he makes a gesture (B) with his left hand — this is important!! This specific hand gesture is rooted in ancient Taoism and is sometimes seen in modern Wushu. It is believed to be a way of harnessing energy or chi, whether to achieve inner peace or to gather explosive spiritual power. Essentially, he's gathering cursed energy for his next attack.

(Right) As Kusakabe lands, he moves the jacket across his body to his left hand (C). This serves two purposes. First, it disguises his next move, as his hand is now completely hidden (D). Second, it acts as a feint. Since Kusakabe is right-handed, movement from the left would be unexpected.

(Left) And there's the katana in his left hand!! We see it's imbued with the cursed energy he just gathered. But take a look at his right hand. This open-palmed position is a traditional training technique for balancing and controlling one-handed weapons. Which, at this point, that's what the broken katana is.

(Right) While his left hand channels energy, his right hand moves down the blade towards the tsuba (handguard) for balance and stability.

OK, your next question: How did he dodge Sukuna's Dismantle without damage? I'm assuming you meant the panel on the left here. It's because of the specific application of his SD for this situation. At the beginning of the chapter, Atsuya mentions that he can only dodge because he's been relying on his own speed and his ability to anticipate the direction of Sukuna's cursed energy. But activating his SD increases his speed and makes dodging easier (among other things). He can focus better on combat because he can react faster.

So, why did he end up getting slashed protecting Higuruma his husband? Again, it's because of how he applied SD in that particular situation. In Chapter 245, he's using SD to offer defensive support solely to Higuruma -- he told him so specifically. (THEY ARE MARRIED; NO ONE CAN CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE). Kusakabe uses his speed to outpace Sukuna's attack and ensure that Higuruma is within his Simple Domain. Because -- We know from Kusakabe that his SD can nullify a direct hit from Cleave/Dismantle, as well as reduce the damage, but it can't completely neutralize the spell. So he tries to deflect as much as possible, and then ends up taking the brunt of the remaining damage. That's why he gets hurt — he's not attempting to dodge, he's literally throwing himself in front of the attack.

Last question - Bonus! Could he have defeated Sukuna by throwing hands rather than using Hazy Moon? Well, there's a reason why he uses Hazy Moon specifically. In Chapter 251, Yuji attempted to separate Megumi's soul from Sukuna, dealing another blow to his weakened RCT. At this point, Sukuna is expending a lot of CE to keep his heart beating, as Maki pointed out in Chapter 252 (Left.)

At this point in the fight, Kusakabe's best bet is to exploit this weakness, but he has to get close to do that. Hence, the feint with the suit jacket. Unfortunately, Sukuna anticipated it (Right) -- but everything's fine! Totally fine! We don't need to talk about this anymore *heavy sobbing*

No. That would be an understatement. You felt giddy. Gleeful. Thrilled. Ecstatic!

You couldn’t help but grin from ear to ear, running gentle circles with your palms on your stomach. There were no visible changes yet, but it felt weird. A good weird.

You were pregnant!

But of course, you were also nervous. Not for the baby but for your husband. Did he hear the news yet? No he couldn’t have. The tests were done in private. You doubt even Kusakabe knew.

Hibari was out on some scouting mission for the Foundation more than two weeks ago and you were starting to get worried. None of his missions usually ran this long. If it did he would, despite him being the aloof cloud of the Vongola, at least text you once a day asking you if anything had happened.

You knew your husband could take care of himself and besides you trusted Tsuna enough to believe him when he told you that Hibari was coming home soon.

One concern was quickly replaced with another.

What if Hibari didn’t want a child? I mean, Hibari has told you he did want children but this was only your first year after marriage! Did he want a child now? What if he didn’t? What he told you to abort the baby?

You wouldn’t allow that to happen. Neither would he. Despite his aloof appearance, he was a kind man and you doubted he would tell you to do something like that. No, the worst case scenario would be that the child would be unwanted by the father yet still in the same household as him.

Damn his perceptiveness. Well, it’s now or never. The last time you tried to hie something big from him, he literally tore down your house to find answers (you moved in with him after). “Okay, the thing is… I’ve been going to the hospital lately.”

He glared, his eyes conveying emotions of offense and betrayal. “And why haven’t I been told this?”

“Because I told Kusakabe not to tell you?” Before your husband can bite the poor, innocent man to death, you quickly pulled on his sleeve to calm down and listen. “I’m… I have… Well, how do I put this?” Was there any way to get around the fact you had a new life inside you? “Our lives won’t be the same anymore.“

You saw a blur of black because landing flatly on your bed with him hovering closer than you would’ve wanted in this situation. “Tell me what you have.”

No beating around the bush now. “I’m… I’m pregnant.”

He froze.

“Kyoya?”

He blinked.

“Are you there?” Dear lord, your worst fears were coming true.

Suddenly, the weight lifted and Hibari was sitting on the edge of the bed, drained. His back was arched and his hands were covering his face - something your strict and proper husband would never do unless he was exhausted.

“Kyoya-”

“Next time, start off with that.” He wrapped his head arms around your waist, burying his head in folds of your clothes. “I thought you were diagnosed with a terminal illness…”

Oh shit. Yeah maybe you could’ve worded it better. “Sorry for worrying you. I didn’t realize it could’ve been taken that way.”

Your fingers gently untangled the knots in his hair. “I didn’t think you were very happy with the news. Not that we wouldn’t eventually have children but! You’re so busy and we really didn’t have the time to talk yet.”

“Marriage is a partnership. I have enough say in raising our child-”

“Our child?” you thought, hopefully.

“-or children as you do however, you are the mother. You have the task of handling and birthing the creation of a new life. So regardless of my opinion or hypothetical dislike, you would’ve had the final say.”

You wondered if your hormonal transitions already started because you felt like crying. How the hell did you get such a wonderful husband? With just a few sentences he made all your anxiety fly away - a warm buzz fluttering in your core.
