i actually tried to make an AITA post about something that happened today and jfc the rules are so crazy. I mean you can't have a title that 'asks for judgment on emotions and not actions' and this is determined by a bot. Is not the premise of whether or not someone is an asshole an emotional one???? I just gave up because it was removed three times for various nebulous violations. Reddit is just so ridiculous sometimes.

#like i get rules about behavior and shit but my god #like moderating every single nuance seems just... pedantic and stupid #also a 3000 character limit #whether someone wants to read a long post or not should just be up to individual users imo #also context matters in Situations so limiting to 3000 characters is forcing people to write in un-nuanced ways
