I bet you’re all totally waiting on the edge of your seats for an update on our super fun Summer Festival. We’re here to shake things up, I want you to have fun! I’ll stop being so lame and get right to it, then. 

So you already know that Gigi Sterling has been helping out with dance lessons, Ambrose Abrams has been taking pics out in the courtyard, Ellis Anderson is walking around with face paint and body glitter, and Hunter Clarington has managed to hustle up a few volunteers to help him man the dunk tank; inside and out. You may have also noticed that our very own Mia Rutherford and Janelle St. James have thrown their hats into the ring. Mia is offering daily D/s questions and I totes encourage all of you to reply. There is a prize for each daily winner, so like.. incentive city, right! Janelle is hosting a dirt cheap raffle for the drama club and offering improv in the auditorium that you can literally just like... bomb in on and have some fun on stage. And she brought baked goods!

Tonight, you’re all going to be thrilled to hear that @psychbanders and @muireannstarshinecahill are going to be hosting karaoke! @judehudson is going to referee a game of flag football out on the field! @perfectionsangels​ will be taking volunteers for bondage art scenes! And when everyone’s blown their vocal chords and can’t “kara” another “oke,” we’ll his the snooze button on the end of the party with @duvaldomnick​, @katiecarlisle​ and @roseamongthorns​ sharing the power of the DJ playlist. 

Not to mention your very own @alexduval will be out at his own table in the courtyard, ready to answer questions that anyone has about his intention to rub for Submissive Mark Leader! 

And if none of that is your cup of tea, we’ve got summer foods from all over the world, making our courtyard into a great melting pot of flavor and cultural refreshments.

a concept: kara-as-supergirl volunteering at a charity carnival and they put her on the dunk tank except whenever somebody manages to dunk her she stays hovering just over where the stool was and is like ‘ur gonna have to try harder than that lmao’ and so nobody manages to dunk her except then lena comes up to the booth and she’s hanging out with alex and maggie and alex is like ok u distract her ill throw the ball and maggie is like baby u suck at sports let me

so as alex is pouting and as maggie throws the ball lena calls out ‘marry me, supergirl!’ which shocks supergirl so much she like propels into the water with a surprising amount of force and the water tank tsunamis so everybody around it is Soaked and kara exits the tank and is like babe what the fuck thats how you decided to propose to me

The Mayor’s announcement is broadcast far and wide through Gotham City, offering a sense of peace and light in what looks to be a dark time ahead.

“While there have been a number of changes to Gotham City over the resent months, we endeavour to show our people that there is hope for those of you who call our city home. With the appearance of so many heroes, both old and new, we’ve chosen to team up with our newest friends to bring you a celebration of joy and prosperity.

Familiar symbols of strength and prosperity are to take part in Gotham’s Fall Carnival, volunteering to take part in a number of different booths and activities. Remember though, not all heroes wear capes; you won’t only see your favourite heroes, but also prominent public figures taking part in returning a light to our city.

The Carnival will take place on Saturday September 29th and will carry on into the evening, the night closing out with a fireworks display for all across the city to enjoy. All profits raised on the day will be used to aid families affected by recent crimes. We encourage everyone in the city to bring their families and enjoy the day, and to take this opportunity to recall the best of Gotham City.”

Of course, nothing’s truly that simple in Gotham City - while heroes, vigilantes, and civilians alike are preparing for a fun day, villains receive messages from an unknown number, untraceable, and different from the last. The objective is much simpler than their last - infiltrate the crowd, cause no damage or harm, but collect as much intelligence as possible on the new heroes and vigilantes in town. How will your villain collect this information? That’s entirely up to you.

Welcome to our first event! The Fall Carnival gives everyone a chance to gather and take part in a range of fun activities - not only as spectators but also to take part in the activities themselves!

You can choose to take part as an attendee at the carnival or as someone working on one of the booths. If you choose for your character to work a booth bear in mind - they can either be their hero persona or, if they’re a public figure like Tony Stark or Bruce Wayne they can take part as themselves as well! Booths and activities will be manned by the owners themselves and heroes can step away for breaks throughout the day, they’re certainly not shackled to their posts!

Villains: please feel free to brainstorm any intel ideas with the admins if you’re unsure on how to approach this! Plot with your follow members who play heroes and vigilantes to see just what kind of info you could extract from them - but of course, be mindful of making assumptions about what your characters could discover!

The event will run from 6pm Thursday 27th September CST - midnight Monday 1st October CST. You can continue event-related threads after the 1st, but please do not start any new event related threads after this.

The following booths are open for heroes and vigilantes to work but bear in mind there’s limited spots - it’s first in best dressed, so please provide at least two choices per character in order of preference:
