Finally, an intro post!

Okay, it's been forever of me doing absolutely nothing so here we go making an actual intro post today

This is a sideblog for @dsaf-confessions, I am the anon known as, you guessed it, hooker foxy anon!

I'm deciding to make a shift in what I do with this blog, including in character asks with my anonsona, posting art, interacting more with the other anon blogs, and all that good shit. More on that later, though. My main blog is @an0nthecat, consider checking that out if ya wanna see art or just hear me yap more

Some basic information about me:

The names that I use online are literally Anon/Anonymous. It might get confusing I know but it's how I've been referred to for years I can't really do anything about it anymore HAHAHAH just call me that if you can

I am a MINOR. I am in my early teens. Please do NOT make any sexual comments about me. (Note, I said ME.)

I am also aroace, and non-binary. I use they/them pronouns.

I am currently hyperfixated on DSaF, FNaF and Goldie's Inferno (a FNaF AU made by the amazing bunnycat, that was sadly discontinued recently.)

The other fandoms that I am in include Spooky Month, ENA, and OMORI.

I am a furry.

I swear like a fuckin sailor, sorry if y'all don't like that I really don't care just don't interact with me or something lmao

I can be kinda meanspirited just know that most of it is lighthearted tho

Okay onto the fun stuff: My anonsona, their lore and the in character asks and confessions and stuff

This is my anonsona:

They have some fun anon lore! Most of their basic info is identical to mine so I'm not gonna bother so let's just type out the lore:

Their arc follows the DSaF 2 Fairly Evil ending, almost immediately after biting Peter they gained sentience and were super fucking confused. Their first thought was "Damn these things on my feet hurt" so they ripped off those high heels and followed Dave and Jack out of the restaurant and hitched a ride to Vegas in the trunk of their car.

They pried themselves out of it when they reached the Vegas strip and spent their first month of sentience getting fucking wasted (despite them being an animatronic... Don't ask) and terrorizing a bunch of drunk people.

They literally have next to zero interactions with any DSaF characters from this point on, they legit just chill in Vegas for the entirety of their lifetime.

They renamed themselves from Nightmare Foxy to Hooker Foxy for the shits and giggles and live in a dumpster behind a bar. They get barfed on a lot.

Their clothes were acquired by beating up random ass people on the street.

Okay now that that's taken care of... let's talk about asks and the future of this blog.

I kinda wanna start answering asks as Hooker Foxy I just thought it'd be fun yk yk yarhhh

So you want to join ssoblr, and you don't know how to go about it? here are 3 simple tricks I got out of my magic bag. Make an intro post! a ton of people reblog and share those around we love new people here, whether your starting from scratch or have been a long-time fan of the series it doesn't matter we take on everyone and are happy to help you with playing the game :) make fanart, draw horses if you can, talk about the game, talk about and draw your oc! usually, if you throw something hard enough at a wall it will stick yk. People are going to follow you! and if you have any skills like writing, art, or photography you will be able to get people really engaged in what you're doing. I understand how lucky I am for being able to doodle my ocs and have people actually interact with it. I feel like its most artists dream to be in a similar position to me because well people give a shit. Its no mistake it's because of the community on ssoblr and how lovely they are. It's really not hard to join this community at all. Just remember to be friendly and you should be good!

I'm so sorry I'm answering this literally 3 months later but i havent had my laptop in 3 months and i can't write anything meaningful without it oops

but yes i do!

- who cares about ugly art!!! Have fun make a mess make the ugliest son of a gun under the blue sky! having fun and being goofy and letting loose is the only thing that matters!!! If you have ever in your life said “oh I can’t draw I would even mess up a stick figure” I’m begging you to shrug off the idea that creativity needs to be for a product or an outcome. The process!! The process is all that matters! Colors and shapes scratch a corner of your brain no matter if you’re making something you’ll bin after making or submit to a gallery truly and really when crpl-pnk said to sing off key and dance off beat and make ugly art and write shitty poetry like. Yeah. They were right. Make art for art’s sake! Create because humans were built to create! Go stack up some sticks or rocks no one cares

okay so you've got that and you wanna know how to get inspired i got u there too:

- I feel like the things I jump out of bed to do are usually things I just want to see made. as simple as that: I just want to see them.

- jump into exploring what’s interesting to you at the moment and let that lead you to the next thought/piece of research/next idea piece body of work etc

-I also do a lot of image research!! and that is my art practice some days, especially as a disabled artist that's all i can muster. and that's so valuable! i think just about as important as the making of the art. learning what you like/learning new things. my Pinterest is my safe space now omg but before that and still i just organize my posts on tumblr here. ( @recycledguts guts is my acct for reblogging art, @burningoftheheart is where I reblog poetry/text, and on this blog I tag #art and #mundane art) I explore new mediums new ideas and it sparks new ideas while compiling sources and references and inspirations.

(here's my pinterest btw i think it's stellar)

- let yourself fuck things up!!!! mistakes are wonderful because they teach you what needs to be fixed next time. i like to take photos of all the parts of my process even and especially the hideous parts and the sketches bc its so cool to see where an idea started and ended and all that happened on the way. I think showing the journey and finding the beauty in having that around opens you up to letting more loose

it took me forever to be okay with fucking up. I used to be 'bad' at having a sketchbook like I’d want to curate every page and have every page look like a finished piece but what I’ve found is much more meaningful to me is like. Taping in scraps that inspire me or things from my day like a scrapbook and writing whatever I want and sketching out any idea that comes to me and doodling as well as the finished pieces. A really good piece of advice is basically don’t erase. You’re not wasting your paper theres always more paper to be had just turn the page and start again. (i actually laerned to be okay with process and ugly sketchbook bc of drawingwiffwaffles on youtbe after i got over their username and actually started watching their videos lmao) Robin Sealark on youtube was also key in my art making journey.

also like. realizing that no one else needs to see anything you make if you don’t want them to. you don’t need things to be polished and curated. Just make it for you and if you want to share it you can but you don’t need to make just to share yk?

also, your art probably isn’t bad. you’re probably just being your own worst critic. maybe you haven’t found the medium/technique for you
