the thing too is that by not creating a re1 remake within the same continuity and not MENTIONING the events of re1 in the re2r, its no wonder re3r was so bad! obv its not the ONLY reason but how can you have re3r which is directly reliant on the games before it as the third in a trilogy, and you DONT have the first installment AND the second installment doesnt have anything to set up the third! namely the stuff with irons who later dismantled stars

I'll do this because I don't really do a lot of other fandoms and I like this game series so here you go. 1. if you could save one character from their demise (consequences to the plot be damned) who would it be? 

Lady Dimitrescu. I thought it was a hate crime that she wasn't in the game longer than she was.

2. what b.o.w would you least like to find entering your room at night?

This was hard especially considering all of them are terrifying, but I think the clear winner for me is Eveline in Grandma form.

3. any characters you feel were done absolutely DIRTY by capcom? are they victims of wasted potential or character assassination or what? 

LADY DIMITRESCU. I thought it was an absolute travesty that she didn't have more screen time. Like I get it in the grand scheme of the video game, but like...Capcom made it seem like she would have a much bigger role. I also hated that she turned into such a beastly mold creature

4. what was the first game you played?

Definitely Resident Evil on the Ps1 back in like 1999

5. whats your favorite save room theme? 

I do like the one in RE1

6. any nonplayable characters you wish were playable? 

Ummm...not really. I guess

I never thought about ships in the series. Maybe Ada Wong and Jill Valentine?

No...? I'm not sure. I gotta think about it.

9. what do you think is the scariest game in the series?

Okay so I have played through Zero, RE, RE3. I have seen gameplays of RE2, RE3, RE7, RE8. I have not played or know anything about Code Veronica, RE4, RE5,RE6. So out of the ones I know...RE7. I still haven't played it yet. I'm really afraid to TBH. Marguerite scares the shit out of me. Insects in places they don't belong gross me out. and fucking GRANDMA.

10. do you like playing with tank controls when theres an option to? 

I *HATE* tank controls with a fiery passion. Look in 1999/2000 when that's all there was sure. But I am a product of my generation and I enjoy free rotating cameras and fluid movements. Over the shoulder control type is much better. It was frustrating to go back and play Silent Hill 1 and 2 for me for the exact same reason.

11. which characters would you just fucking die for? 

Lady Dimitrescu. She can have me.

12. favorite boss battle? 

Nemesis in the RE 3 remake. Jill Valentine using a rail gun was the most badass and hilariously unreasonable thing ever.

Grandma

Mr. X. I screamed so loud when I played the RE2 remake for the first time.

15. things/characters you feel are overrated or underrated? 

Donna Beneviento is a tragically underrated character. I would have loved to know more about her.

RE1 Remake-forgetting to light a zombie on fire, forgetting they're there and running into a crimson head.

I have seen the first movie, the second movie and the third movie. I really enjoyed the first two movies. They used elements of their source material but they weren't video game to movie recreations. After the second one though I felt kinda meh about continuing them. I felt like Alice's storyline was becoming too convoluted.

It’s Johnny Depp I don’t even need to think about it. A Nightmare on Elm Street, Edward Scissorhands, Cry-Baby, What’s Eating Gilbert Grape, Benny and Joon, Ed Wood, Sleepy Hollow, From Hell, All the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, Secret Window, Corpse Bride, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Sweeney Todd, Alice in Wonderland, Rango, Dark Shadows, Lone Ranger, Tusk, Into the Woods, Mortdecai, Yoga Hosers, and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. 25 damn movies I’ve seen him in. Jesus that’s a lot.

6. A film you wish you hadn’t watched?

Jack and Jill, that Adam Sandler movie. My friends wanted to watch it during a sleep over even though they knew I hated his movies but I wanted to be the cool friend and go with it. IT WAS HORRENDOUS. So horrendous in fact that other than Al Pacino selling out to do a fake ad in the movie I don’t even remember the plot.

7. A film you wish had a sequel?

Okay so even though I despised the Nightmare on Elm Street remake I really wanted it to have a sequel just because then we’d have more Freddy movies. Back then I would have disagreed with what I’m about to say next, but I’d rather have more Nightmare on Elm Street movies than have the franchise die with Robert Englund. I’ve been a part of a few Nightmare fan pages and the elitism for Robert is insane. The man doesn’t want to do them any more, let someone else do something. For fuck’s sake it’s proven that people don’t mind what actor does Freddy as long as it’s done right (with the Freddy fan movies). I didn’t even hate Jackie Earle Haley, he was creepy and did his damn job. There was plenty of issues with CGI and story but I just want more Nightmare movies dammit!

Horror movies. Enough said ;P

15. A film everyone loves but you hate?

I said The Babadook in another ask so this time I’ll pick on Jurassic World. It wasn’t that it was bad per-say, but it was just so mediocre that I ended up being disappointed. I can’t even tell you anything about the main love interest because she was only there to be Chris Pratt’s love interest and I literally can’t remember anything about her character. Also I’m tired of the trope where the dude laughs when the woman isn’t rough and dirty and she cries when her heels get stuck in the mud like wtf get out with that trope it was 2015 when that movie came out the writers should be ashamed of themselves. All the dino battles were cool but ultimately a bunch of interesting things happened on screen but no actual good plot happened. I’d still thirst over Chris Pratt’s fine ass any day but I’d rather watch Guardians of the Galaxy or Parks & Rec to do that.
