⭕️❗️I just realized we never introduced Asher here… oops 🧍
Asher is the only one of our fronting crew that isn’t a well known utmv character, he’s kind of a dust sans + killer sans fusion! (More info about him and some general bad sanses source stuff under the cut)
Asher is a part of my (Killer’s) subsystem! He’s my personal protector, co host, and partner <3
He didn’t really have any backstory afaik when we first figured out we were multiple headmates and not the same person, but over the last three months we’ve discovered/built a lot of source memories together!
This kinda doubles as source info and fanfiction for us lol, we only have actual personal memories of some of the stuff here, and a lot of it is converted from our dragonverse lore. I will not be specifying which parts are which.
In our source “Killer sans” was a DID system. I was our host, and Asher was our protector and persecutor. We weren’t aware we were plural for a long time, we never knew when we were a median osdd system during the canon undertale part of our lives, and we didn’t know for quite a while after the human started messing with our soul which caused us to develop DID and more distinct and dissociated parts.
While we were still in our home AU and the human was our “partner” Asher started to become distinct from me. He wasn’t the same as he is now, he started out looking basically the same as me, but his personality was completely different. I actually think he might have been a partial introject of the human. he was sadistic and aggressive and did all of our fighting for us, and my job was to be friendly and fun, to entertain our “partner”. We had other headmates as well back then, but they never interacted with anyone outside our system and had more internal jobs. I won’t really be talking about anyone but me and Asher in this post.
Asher and I worked well together, and the human was very happy with what they had made of us, but it wasn’t long before all the negative energy we were generating attracted Nightmare’s attention. Our SOUL had effectively become a beacon of negativity, and Nightmare could basically know exactly where we were at all times. About 300-400 years after The Dreamtale Incident Nightmare became stable enough to consider recruiting other characters to help him in his quest to spread negativity across the multiverse, and we were the first ones he approached. He had decided to use us because as full of negativity as we were, we were basically like a walking battery for him. As long as we were around he had a huge power boost.
It wasn’t long though before he realized that whatever the human had done to our SOUL, we were incredibly easy to manipulate. He figured out how to forcibly change our SOUL to whatever state was most convenient for him. I would do whatever he asked, and even go out of my way to please him. Asher didn’t like Nightmare much, but he was happy to have a never ending supply of new and interesting people to torment.
At about 450 years after dreamtale Nightmare became curious enough about the inconsistency in our behaviour and emotions that he asked us about it directly. It was really weird for us, it felt like he was asking completely out of the blue. We had never even considered we could be multiple. Our amnesia was intense at that point and I could barely remember my own experiences, let alone Asher’s. After a bit of experimenting with Nightmare though it became obvious that it wasn’t just emotional instability, Asher and I were entirely different people.
Nightmare was able to tell us apart very easily now that he knew for sure what was going on, and he was able to treat us differently and even experimented with influencing our identities and our inner world. He was curious about how we worked, and what he could do to us. He never made any major changes though, we were already near perfect for him anyways after working for him for ~100 years.
After the events of underverse (only a few years after we realized we were plural) Nightmare decided to recruit more help. Cross had left to became an unofficial royal guard of the omega timeline to protect it from any further attacks, so Nightmare was back down to just me&. He decided to approach Dust first, and he was quite willing to join us. His universe had become boring and redundant, and he was craving a challenge.
For a long time Dust avoided us, he found me very annoying and he was confused and unsettled by our plurality. We mostly only interacted on missions. Asher and him didn’t get along very well, they often got in each other’s way and disagreed on how to do things.
((From here on its less about me and Asher and more just me rambling about our multiverse and being nostalgic lol))
At around 500 years after dreamtale’s destruction Nightmare had finally stabilized enough for passive Nightmare to return from dormancy. In the fifty years Nightmare knew we were a system, he had never thought to consider his own experiences as plural. He had accepted Dream’s idea that he had killed the original Nightmare as fact. But when passive Nightmare returned, so did memories. They remembered their abuse at the hands of the people of dreamtale, and they remembered that Nightmare had originally formed as a friend and protector for his host. When they absorbed the apples of negativity, Nightmare took as much of it as he could, while the sudden overwhelming power forced passive Nightmare into dormancy. ((More info about our dreamtale here))
500 years later, he returned and was devastated to learn about everything that had happened. That his home was gone, and his brother had grown to hate them. He was also horrified by everything Nightmare had done while he was gone. It took a long time for the two to be able to communicate and start negotiating, and eventually Nightmare agreed to try to change. Together they decided on the name Moon for passive Nightmare.
At first Moon was very cautious around me, Asher, and Dust. He fronted very rarely and anytime he did he would leave as soon as he saw one of us, but overtime as he learned more about us through Nightmare he started seeing us as very similar to him and Nightmare. Eventually he started trying to find ways to “reform” us… it was very adorable. He would bring us books about mental health, he would do nice things for us like making us food, and he even got me a couple “emotional support cats” after he found out they’re my favourite animal XD
It was only after he joined us that we started feeling almost like a family. A very fucked up family, but still family. He was so light and kind, and fun in a way none of us had really seen in a long time.
He was the one that encouraged Nightmare to help the horrortale universe, they relocated some of the characters there to the omega timeline, and brought supplies to the ones that stayed in their universe. The Sans there didn’t want to stay in horrortale but he felt out of place in the omega timeline, so when Nightmare offered for him to join us, he accepted. He wanted to pay Night and Moon back for their help.
Obviously it was rough at first, Horror had a lot of issues. The most important one being food. He had gotten so used to not eating and had so much trauma around food that it took years for us to figure out how to help him and for him to start recovering from his starvation. Moon banned all meat from our base, and helped Horror start experimenting with vegetarian food. That was. Interesting. They were not great cooks at first. Until then we had always gotten our food already made from other AUs, but Horror felt more comfortable eating stuff that he saw being made I guess.
Man those first years were rough, Horror was irritable and easily triggered, and very eager to solve problems with violence… but after a while he just fit right in with the rest of us. He and I weren’t particularly close, but exchanging disturbing puns and bad jokes was fun and eventually he got really good at cooking and istfg I miss that so much.
Ughhsvha we have so much more lore about this multiverse but this is getting long and I really gotta go to bed so imma just post this now. Please if your interested in this ask us questions, I wanna talk about this stuff so bad 😭
We may or may not make a side blog for dragonverse which shares a lot of similarities in terms of characters and major events…. We’ll see lol

What are some system roles? I've heard of things like protectors and caretakers and hosts, but I only know about what hosts are.
Hi!
This is a fun question and an excellent excuse to start our planned post with a list of roles! Here we we will give you some that we have most commonly seen.
Protector - protects the system is someway, whether from external harm, traumatic memories or other threats
Prosecutor - a type of protector, they can sometimes exhibit behaviour that is at times aggressive towards external people
Persecutor - similar to a prosecutor, but directed internally ***Please note: persecutors are not evil and deserve the same rights as all other headmates***
Caregiver/Caretaker - these headmates look after others in some form or another, whether by soothing them, taking care of littles, or in some other way
Emotion Holders - these headmates take on the experience of a particular (or multiple) emotions, so that others do not have to
Trauma holders - tend to hold the memory of trauma and/or trauma responses. Often times, the memories are inaccessible to other system members
Guardian - a headmate that protects from internal threats to the system
There are many many more terms to be found, but these are the ones that I personally have found to be the most frequently used. We are planning on doing some more comprehensive posts later however! So keep an eye out!
Have a question? Send us an ask!
Have we added the wrong information or would you like us to add some? Let us know!

OK so I wanted to write a lot but we are currently out but I do want to say that Doom Patrol came out in 1985 so originally Crazy Jane would have been diagnosed with MPD.
There was a couple things that bugged us too about it. We haven't personally gotten caught up with the show but the comic we are currently reading and Jane was actually based off an actual system you can read about that system called "When Rabbit Howls" but just FYI it's very triggering and talks about csa.
So yes, for the most part does it bug us that everyone just calls all alters Jane no matter who's fronting in the comic. Yes. Is it realistic though. Unfortuntely also yes. We have a friend who does call us individually by our names but most people just collectively call us our old hosts name who isn't even around anymore.
And when they talk about some things we do it's usually always "old hosts name did this" and not whoever was fronting.
Let's not also forget singlet are dense usually when it comes to this disorder especially ESPECIALLY one's who were in the 80s when the disorder was so misunderstood.
So as for Babydoll and "she's a little but..is she really because in the innerworld she's portrayed as an adult woman"
So we have an alter who is a little who also has an adult body but is in fact 100% a child and should be treated as such. As far as I'm aware that's semi normal and can happen. And age sliders do exist. One of our old hosts could age slide anywhere from 3-20 so he might sometimes appear an adult and mature but if overwhelmed he appears in the innerworld as a child.
So innerworld looks horrifying to singlets as well in the show? So..yeah some innerworlds are horrifying as hell. Ours isn't usually but we do have fog that rolls in that does have monsters and we have one called "The Puppet Master" that preys on children and alters that are delusional or spiraling. There's been traumatic things in our innerworld and there's even a section that looks like the end of the world there is horrifying things there but it's mostly blocked off to anyone except those trapped in that sector or our main protector.
They do call them personalities in the comic and show and yeah it's...really unfortunate but I do understand it came from a comic from the 80s and they are trying to be true to the comics as well as what the creators studied while making Jane.
But her name, the fact they call alters personalities, and all that is because of the time the comic was made.
We do feel that they should have changed it to match DID a bit better but we understand that singlets might not even think it would be problematic.
And it shows the struggle of the system trying to be seen as individual people. Because even in the comics driver 8 would straight up tell cliff "we aren't just personalities we are our own people."
Are some alters dangerous? In real life usually only to the system themselves. But some persecutors can come off as aggressive. We have one that is super verbally mean when he's triggered but obviously nothing violent. BUT we also have to remember that this show is from the DC universe and they were mutated in the source and traumatized AND SUPERHEROES so they're more prone to violence compared to real systems. Yes it's not necessarily a good take on DID I wish they had a good true to life story but people would find that boring compared to superheros. I guess we kind of view it as people being mad about LGBT people being superheroes because LGBT people aren't usually violent types.but that's personally are take. It's a lot better than mr.robot and them showing an alter taking the host to a drug den or threatening to kill someone for not complying. -Blurry

{{ ok so DID aizawa au under the cut because i lov it..
I split his alters pretty evenly between boys and girls. He’s definitely 100% still trans but afaik cis people have different gendered alters too? So. List. If I refer to behavior or personality traits, that’s how they act when they’re fronting.
Also, a brief handy list of system vocab!
host: the alter who tends to front the most from day to day, takes care of most basic living stuff
protector: an alter whose job is to keep the system safe
persecutor: an alter who causes harm to the system
little: a child alter
core: the original, the first part to inhabit the body.
front: the term for when a part has control of the body.
1. Shouta: The host of the system, but not the core. He was originally a protector, and is the one who got them out of their parents' house, and since then has assumed responsibility for the rest of the system. They aren't sure when he formed, but he has memories starting around age 10. He became the host at age 15.
2. Hatsuko: A very proper and organized woman, who puts a lot of stock in tradition. Before therapy, she considered the fact that a good portion of the system was transgender an embarrassment and functioned more like a persecutor. Now, she's a staunch advocate for the rest of her system. She originated as an appeaser, so she has trouble asserting boundaries with people outside.
3. Akemi: She was originally created as a sexual trauma holder. At first she was very hypersexual, with a sense of self worth that fluctuated between extremes, but now she's a lot calmer. She enjoys making the body look nice and playing with peoples' hair, or doing makeup for them.
4. Kiyoshi: Before therapy, he was very anxious to the point he would throw up, and he suffered from severe OCD. With help he's become a lot more functional. He enjoys planning lessons and filling out paperwork.
5. Shinobu: He's very calm, and while he's not unemotional, the emotions he does show tend to be subdued. His pain tolerance is incredibly high. It's been a struggle for him to see himself as part of the system and to connect himself to the body.
6. Taichi: A more aggressive protector, he's prone to snapping at anyone he thinks is even looking at them funny. Most of his recovery has involved anger management. One of his favorite things is to exercise. If he feels the system is not being respected, he will come forward and start shit.
7. Yori: He's one of the alters who dealt with home life as a child. Originally, he was totally blind, though through therapy he has regained eyesight. He requires glasses to see with 20/20 vision, though. He’s actually quite friendly, despite being so skittish.
8. Ichiro: The core of the system. He's mostly content to sit back and let everyone else have his life, because he struggles a lot with guilt and depression. Even when he does front he doesn't seem inclined to do much, though at their therapist's urging he's picked up knitting as a hobby.
9. Fuyuko: A young boy who seems to be around 7 or 8 years old. He's very stoic and rarely shows any sort of emotion. He mostly just wants to be left alone and read books, which means the rest of the system has had to work hard to gain his trust.
10. Jun: He's about 5 years old and seems pretty much oblivious to the system's trauma. He's unaware of how to use their Quirk, and while he knows that they've been through some bad things, he doesn't know the details.
11. Noriko: A 12-year-old girl who seems similar to Hatsuko, in that she's very quiet and attached to tradition and rules. She feels obliged to enjoy girlish activities and things to prove that they're capable of being normal. Even with therapy she refuses to give this up, and it seems to be a comfort to her.
12. Yuuma: Another child, around 10 years old, who has a bit of a superiority complex. He's incredibly upset about their childhood circumstances, believing that they deserve much better. Even in the present day he's discontent, wanting a better life and convinced they should have recovered and moved on by now.
13. Umeko: While she looks like she's around 10 years old, she acts much younger. She's a very sweet girl, and she used to flirt incessantly with people much older than them, though with some effort she's started enjoying more age-appropriate activities. One of her favorite things is putting glitter or stickers all over them.
14. Naomi: She's one of the youngest system members, seeming to be about 4 or 5 years old. At first she was silent and completely refused to speak, and she was very hesitant to accept any kindness or help, but after a lot of work she's able to speak, with a pretty limited vocabulary. She's very slow to trust new people and very attached to those she does trust.
15. Michi: A very independent young boy, about 7 years old, who loves to just roam around and explore. He hates being indoors, though he's willing to tolerate it now that he isn't stuck in trauma and knows they live away from their parents.
16. Kinako: A friendly tabby cat, based on a cat they found with the same color, who they gave the same name. He's not able to speak, though he can communicate with other alters in vague, wordless thoughts.
17. Kuro: A black cat who's very wary of people he doesn't know. If anyone he doesn't like tries to touch him, he tends to hiss or bite. With people he does like, he'll just quietly sit next to them.
He has animal alters because for a lot of his life, it was safer for him to be around animals, rather than people. Even the human alters have picked up some catlike mannerisms.
He left his abusive parents when he was 16, after getting a job and finding a cheap apartment he could live in. He didn’t enter therapy until age 18, though he had a sense of the other alters existing before that. Mostly they’ve worked on communication and stopping self destructive behaviors.
The animals and littles rarely, if ever, front outside of his apartment. At school it will most likely be Shouta, Hatsuko, Shinobu or Kiyoshi, unless something awful happens to trigger a different alter out. Shouta, Shinobu and Taichi are the main ones who handle pro hero work. The rest just sort of do their own thing.
#It's not a hero's job to deal with ordinary citizens. (ooc)#i doubt ill ever rp this here but i love it s o fuc kin g m u c h
