anyway if you're trying to weaponize the concept of poor poc running donation posts against ao3 fundraisers you are both deeply insensitive & (willingly or not) ignorant of the *massive* attention and reputation gap between any given tumblr blog and a registered nonprofit

#i occasionally see someone make a post like 'how could you donate to ao3 when my mut has a donation post. how dare you be so racist'#its baffling. truly baffling #your mutuals donation post does not have millions of views a day i am sorry but it is just the truth #you get a big enough number of people and you can find a rich mf whose willing to drop cash on a donation #like it is not the tumblr userbase making ao3s fundraiser goal. its the userbase of a massive reputable site most fandoms make a home on #greenerscreams
