not. quite sure why? my friends think encouraging me to play ff.xi.v is:

person A) pressuring me to work to their schedule, guilting me bc they paid for my month (didnt ask for it btw), when i attempt to talk to them about it they respond w/ 2 messages and then proceed to ignore me

person B) trying to rush through the game so they can be ahead of me in endw.alker content in this weird show of competitive posturing? like. i literally absorb content at a different speed to you, why do you feel so threatened. at first it was a joke, but now they’re actually making it a point and i literally don’t understand what the big deal is. so what if i get to the same point of endw.alker as you????? why does! it even! matter!

it LITERALLY does not make me feel good about playing the game whatsoever! a shame bc i really do like this game so far
