ADAM: AGREED

Ironic because despite his only character role being to function as a cryptic exposition fairy, the G-Man is surprisingly reticent. He only has 15 minutes' worth of dialogue scattered across five games. They cut a lot of flavor dialogue for him, including dialogue where he snarls and swears. In Marc Laidlaw's earliest written treatments for HL2, G-Man would have made the amount of time that passed between HL1 and HL2 more explicit by saying, "Ten years is a long time, Mister Freeman." All things considered, the guy doesn't actually say a lot. Only what needs to be said, just enough to sow the seeds of doubt in your mind. He does not mince his words and his language is loaded with double entendre and allusion. Presumably this is because he's not authorized to reveal too much. I find it to be a fascinating writing style, even if the constant evasion does get annoying after a while. I have the feeling Valve relies on cliffhangers in order to keep delaying the narrative because they don't know how it ends.

Apropos of this, it was kinda weird how Alyx spoke to the G-Man. Not bad, mind you, just different. I like how the G-Man sidestepped her questions, though. Good writing is able to keep characters IC in different circumstances

Stupidest thing you’ve ever done: Once in autumn I was on a walk with parents and close friend. I really love frogs so I started catching some near the pond we were next to. Then i saw a really huge one but it was in the water so i took a plastic cup i had in hand after eating ice-cream and I tried to catch it with it. Of course I immediately slipped on the wet grass and drooped on face to the water. My parents went pretty far away but my friend started screaming so they quickly found me. Thankfully I haven’t dropped my glasses and phone but it was pretty cold outside and I was shaking like jelly so my father give me his jacket. I’m kinda scared to catch frogs near water right now. Nothing bad really happened after that but it was dangerous because of the way i dropped to the water. Thankfully it ended well. Both my parents and my friend are laughing at me for that.

Reasons for your url: Well “ada2987″ is with me from the childhood when i was using those sites for children with a lot of browser games. Ada is of course name that most people call me and “2987″ well... it sounded nice in polish for me when i was young and now i’m using it because the are too long with me and i don’t want to change that.
