ngl i don't get the desire for "fanfiction rewrites" for when the original author ends up being an awful person. like at that point i think you're better off just making your own fanfic entirely or ignoring it.

#like in certain cases i guessss id understand if the character got bigger than the author?#like im curious and looking in the p*kem*dhouse tag and im seeing ppl put up rewrite concepts and im like #... whats the point??? its not her most well known work first of all but its also impossible to separate from her #its her self insert fanfiction and a lot of it is based on her real life experiences. like its just weird at that point to act like shes a #shes a character you can take #and if you want to take the pokemon then just make your own pokemon ocs. she doesnt own gardevoir she cant stop you #its like. way too far into spite territory. criticize the writing but at this point youre putting in wayyyy too much effort #and its not good for either of you #''well its to prove we can write better'' you can prove you can write better by just doing your own thing #its not that hard to prove in this case #echoed voice
