#just sayin banning homestuck in a discord server is a huge red flag#like idk how to tell you how much of common internet parlance is homestuck references sent through the tumblr telephone game#its 1) impractical 2) not enforcable and 3) just kinda rude tbh#like: my name is a homestuck reference#my username on Most sites is literally a homestuck reference#are you gonna make me change my username hm?#its transArsonist#those of you who Know#you know.#but fact of is that homestuck is a real mixed bag and ill agree a lot of the fans are toxic as hell#and there are large swaths of the media itself that are fucking shit#no argument#but theres also large swaths that manage to explain the human condition in a way that no one seems to have even Attempted before#and its cultural value for that reason cannot be discounted#like its one thing to ban it from your blog or personal discord#but its a whole separate thing to ban it from a public anarchy discord
