I’m thankful that Sayonara Endroll made people ship sutobi bc I remember the early days of knk when a lot of ibunas would make fun of people for writing fics/making ship art of reinochi. I also remember the dark times where everyone latched onto the idea that the Mah characters were brothers and if you shipped them then that meant you were into incest. Those were hostile times indeed

I’m happy the doomed yaoi is normalizing the shipping bc by god 2020-2021 was the worst time to be an ibuna shipper fr. It’s nice seeing people having fun with it bc that’s what it really is about, having fun
