fe engage absolutely just leaned into being absolutely totally okay with more than a few of its characters being silly freaks
#and i love it for that. these people are so weird <3 a not insignificant number of them are fav fe characters now#i also like how its not just like. they have weirdass quirks but those quirks are humanized if that makes sense#like louis being an almost nosy people watcher but chloe knowing him well enough to fully understand and accept it#i really like their supports. tbh i like a lot of the supports in this game too the relationships between characters r so good#like i think it strikes a good balance of thse characters being like. wacky. but still offering them some real depth if you care to look#salty talks#idk im rlly fond of this game its just a really fun time#‘freaks’ is a strong word ofc but its like. god some of these characters are so weird and i love it#it rlly leans into the earnest feeling of this game all of these characters are so fucking. themselves yknow.#except yunaka but shes got a good reason. and also says shit like zappy and hiya papaya so her weird quota is easily met
