ough ooough i need to learn more about agriculture
#one of my classes last year actually went into it a lot#but more like how does agriculture work in different climates and parts of the world n how do cities and surrounding townships supply food#than what i am currently curious abt which is the mathematics (?) of industrial food production vs like. agriforests.#theres some other stuff here like the global distribution of labor wrt agriculture and how idk. is there a fairer way to produce food?#like how much farmland cld we conceivably cultivate in america and how many agriculture focused countries#would that allow to industrialize#...ofc this is all based on the assumption that an industrial lifestyle n standard of living is better but whatever#the question i am curious abt rn is liie#*like#what happens when u run out of ' undeveloped ' countries to produce food and raw resources#bc theoretically those countries are all moving towards industrialization#i guess most ppl would say the answer is automation & advances in food science#but surely there's still a carrying capacity at some point
