Reminder that it’s important to train your dogs out of food aggression/ recourse guarding

#we just adopted a 1yo beagle and his previous family very much had not done this #like we can get our hands all up in his face/ food bowl when eating #and our other three can be near him/ sneak peices from his bowl #but when it comes to treats?? forget about #or socks for some reason??#we dealt with SEVERE recourse guarding from the youngest of the other three #and we got her out of her funk #and comparatively speaking the 1yo isn’t as bad #like he’s suuuuch a super mega sweet dog #just the resource guarding #we got some work to do that’s for sure
