Reminder that it’s important to train your dogs out of food aggression/ recourse guarding
#we just adopted a 1yo beagle and his previous family very much had not done this#like we can get our hands all up in his face/ food bowl when eating#and our other three can be near him/ sneak peices from his bowl#but when it comes to treats?? forget about#or socks for some reason??#we dealt with SEVERE recourse guarding from the youngest of the other three#and we got her out of her funk#and comparatively speaking the 1yo isn’t as bad#like he’s suuuuch a super mega sweet dog#just the resource guarding#we got some work to do that’s for sure
