I hadn't thought about it while reading, but one of the Edgeworth bits in his manga is about him fucking breaking Phoenix's TV by purposefully spilling coffee on it and setting up a wire tap to make sure Phoenix continues to have a broken tv

It ends up being because he was doing it for Pearl's sake but it's a reminder that he's just. He's v sweet but so fucking goofy.
