#ask#anon#idk if id call myself a certified stan#like i feel like i enjoy the vibes of the project#it definitely doesn't consume my entire being in the way actual bastille releases tend to if that makes sense#like i havent listened to the podcast or anything and missing shows doesn't fill me with intense fomo#which arguably is more healthy#but also i can 100% see ampersand becoming a comfort album#like even intros & narrators already feels super nostalgic and comforting to me idk its hard to put into words#it definitely feels different from my bastille obsession but i am and forever will be a daniel smith simp#and to sort of quote him you'd have to be a pretty heartless person to see someone be happy about something and be annoyed by that#and he seems very happy with ampersand#most of my early criticism does still stand tho lol
