reaper au is very anime for lack of a better term this means that danny and valerie in this au are the shounen rivals btw which makes their fight dynamic fun bc danny is a reaper and valerie is sort of a mimic of one, more human than he is. but theyre evenly matched bc valerie is just that good and if danny gives way even an inch she could absolutely destroy him
