idk if this is worded right but. It’s a shame there’s barely any academic lit or analysis around remedy games. the first thing that comes to mind is jacob gellers video involving control but I’d love more on the themes of these games and how they use different mediums to tell their stories

#to delete #there a lot of videos that theorize on the games. but idk. not much in general outside of it #aw2 specifically has sm to do with mental health and anxiety/depeession/etc. but there’s not too much written about it #ignore my typos and grammar. 😔#like I won’t go as far to say remedy games are unpopular. they are very loved. there’s just a lot that’s not talked about #that imo is extremely interesting #even gameplay wise there’s so many choices on how the story can change environments. the use of looping in the overlaps. that isn’t talked #about. when it’s so fucking cool in the game
