A Taste of Care
Tumblr media
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀𓂅⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Pro Hero!Bakugou x AFAB!Pro Hero!fem reader
.....
The invitation to the annual Pro Hero Gala lands with a quiet thud on your desk, and you nearly ignore it, honestly – it’s one of those events everyone expects top heroes to attend, but no one actually enjoys. You wonder how the organizers can still think it’s a good idea. You glance over at Bakugou, who rolls his eyes the second he catches you even looking at it. “Not a chance,” he grumbles, turning back to whatever report he’s pretending to focus on. “Hell’ll freeze over before I show up there.”
“Yeah, but…they invited us both.” You can’t help it—the thought of skipping nags at you, guilt bubbling up. You turn the envelope in your hands, debating. “I mean, if we don’t go, they’ll probably think we don’t care or something…”
“Good,” he mutters, "Because I do not care."
You make the decision then, mostly because you can’t imagine telling someone who went through the trouble of inviting you that you just… didn’t feel like going. “Fine,” you say, sighing. “I’ll go, then. You don’t have to worry about it.”
A heavy pause lingers, and then Bakugou’s gaze snaps up. “You what?”
“I’ll go. On your behalf. It’s fine,” you insist, smiling a little to soften it. But there’s something in his eyes, and you think he feels that tug of guilt too, though he’d never say it. Finally, he just sighs and mutters, “Fine, fine. I’m going. Don’t start whining about this later.”
And that’s how you end up at the Gala, arm in arm with one very reluctant Bakugou.
.....
You’ve barely been here for an hour, and though Bakugou’s already made three attempts to pull you towards the exit, you’re still here, being polite and nodding along as people pass by, each one taking a little energy from you with their relentless questions.
At some point, a waiter passes by with a tray of drinks, and you reach out, half-relieved for a distraction. The waiter places a delicate, glass thimble of juice in your hand, barely bigger than your thumb. You eye it, perplexed.
“One sip,” you murmur, taking a cautious taste. It’s sweet and refreshing—too good, actually, like someone figured out the perfect formula for juice. The flavor surprises you, so you hold it in your hands like you’re savoring a precious heirloom, taking tiny sips to make it last.
“Hey,” Bakugou says, turning back from where he’s been roped into some pointless conversation with another hero. His eyes narrow when he sees the minuscule cup in your hands. “You tryna torture yourself or somethin’? Why’re you drinkin’ it if you don’t even like it?”
You blink, mildly surprised by his assumption. “No, I do like it! It’s just... y’know... small. And I didn’t want to—um, ask for more.” You hesitate, aware of the ridiculousness of it all. “They might think I’m being greedy, you know?”
Bakugou makes a face, folding his arms across his chest. “You’re kiddin’ me.” He sounds genuinely irritated now, and it’s impossible not to feel embarrassed, though you give a nervous smile.
“No, no! It’s fine, 'Suki, really.” You tug at his sleeve to keep him from storming over to whoever poured this pathetic excuse for a drink, though he stares at you, unamused, for a moment.
“Fine,” he relents, still looking unconvinced. But when you try to wave him off a second time, and a third, his patience visibly thins. “Alright, that’s it.” He grabs your now empty cup with a sense of purpose, muttering under his breath as he maneuvers through the crowd. You reach out, embarrassed to death that he’d take the trouble to do this.
“Katsuki, you don’t have to—please, it’s okay! Really, it’s fine!”
He gives you a brief, sideways glance, his expression somewhere between exasperation and begrudging affection. “For god’s sake, Cupcake, I’m doin’ it ‘cause I want to.”
The bartender hardly has time to react before Bakugou is right in front of him, holding up the empty cup like it’s some sort of evidence. “Listen up. This microscopic cup you handed out, where the hell d’ya even find one that small?” he demands, raising an eyebrow at the bartender, who looks both puzzled and terrified by Bakugou’s intensity.
The bartender stammers something about portion sizes, but Bakugou cuts him off, pointing to the counter like he’s about to place an order in a war zone. “Whatever you put in here, put it in a real glass this time, yeah? And don’t skimp. What is it, anyway?”
“Uh—it’s, um, a mix of, uh, passion fruit, lemon, and a hint of, uh… elderflower…”
“Good. That’s exactly what I wanted to know.” He watches as they pour the drink, nodding in satisfaction once they fill a glass you can actually hold with more than two fingers. When he finally returns, he looks triumphant, almost like he just completed some crucial, life-or-death mission.
“Here,” he says, handing you the glass with that rare softness in his eyes that he only gets around you.
And as you take the first sip, savoring the full taste this time, you glance up at him, fighting a smile.
“Y’know,” he mutters, clearly aware of his over-the-top reaction, “I ain’t lettin’ you get ripped off on my watch. ‘Specially if it’s somethin’ you like.”
You savor every last drop of the drink, finally taking fuller sips now that it’s in an actual glass. The elderflower and passion fruit mix is refreshing, and it brings a soft smile to your lips every time you taste it. And when you finish the last drop, you look up at Bakugou, feeling a bit embarrassed but grateful.
He’s watching you intently, arms crossed with a proud little smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth. “All done?” he asks, clearly pleased with himself.
You nod, setting the glass down. “Yeah. Thanks, 'Suki,” you murmur, hoping the slight blush on your cheeks isn’t too obvious. “We can go now.”
Bakugou’s face lights up in an almost imperceptible way. He clears his throat, looking around as if anyone might overhear, but the relief is clear in his expression. “’Bout damn time.”
A couple of weeks pass, and life returns to the usual pro hero routine—patrols, training, the occasional event, and repeat. After a long, grueling day of patrol, you return home exhausted and immediately head to the shower, letting the hot water wash away the day’s aches and strains. The warmth is a balm for your sore muscles, and by the time you get out, you feel somewhat revived, if not a little sleepy.
You toss on a cozy set of clothes, ready to finally relax and start prepping dinner. You make your way to the kitchen, but as you open the fridge, you notice something unusual: a piece of paper stuck to one of the shelves. Curious, you pull it out and immediately recognize Bakugou’s handwriting, all sharp lines and bold strokes.
In the middle of the note is a hastily-drawn little doodle of himself, smirking with a thumbs-up, along with the words: “Surprise. You better not ration this either.”
You stare at the note, momentarily confused. What’s he talking about?
Then you glance down, and your eyes widen.
Sitting on the shelf, right next to the vegetables and leftovers, is a large glass pitcher filled to the brim with the juice from the gala—your favorite mix of passion fruit, lemon, and elderflower.
A laugh bubbles up from your throat, and you can’t help but shake your head in wonder. Of course he’d go through the trouble of making an entire pitcher for you. And not only that, but he left a note, reminding you not to hold back or ration it like some precious artifact.
You pour yourself a full glass, taking a long sip, and the familiar taste brings a warm, giddy feeling to your chest. For a moment, you just stand there in your quiet kitchen, holding your glass and staring at Bakugou’s note with a grin that won’t leave your face.
It’s just so… him. Thoughtful in the most roundabout way possible.
You take another sip, glancing at the time. He’ll still be on patrol for a bit, but you already can’t wait to tell him just how much his little surprise means to you.

guard my heart
for @steddiemicrofic prompt ‘guard’
rated t | 532 words | no cw | tags: mutual pining, friends to lovers, getting together, slightly self conscious Eddie, good friend Robin, first kiss
🛡️🛡️🛡️🛡️🛡️🛡️🛡️🛡️🛡️🛡️
“I just don’t understand why you won’t tell him!” Robin whisper-yells at him. “He’s gonna be fine with it!”
“It’s not about him being fine with it,” Eddie sighs. “I’m just trying to guard my heart a little.”
“So pining after him is making it easier?”
She’s so fucking rude for that, but Eddie isn’t gonna get upset. No, he can’t let his emotions win on this one, no matter what Robin tries to convince him to do.
“Are you guys gonna come hang out with everyone or be weird by the door?” Steve asks as he walks closer to them, dripping wet from his recent dive into the pool.
He catches Robin rolling her eyes before she walks away and leaves him alone with the man he’s lusting after. It sounds stupid like that, but there’s no other explanation for the way he wants to-
“You good? No one will care if you leave your shirt on. Or if you wanna take it off. Like, everyone’s gonna be cool with your scars or if you don’t wanna show them off,” Steve says quietly, as if that’s the issue Eddie’s facing at a pool party with Steve.
Sure, a small part of him worries that the kids will be horrified to see his badly healed scars on display, and he worries that they’ll get sad if he keeps them covered. He worries that he’s ugly, pieced together like Frankenstein’s monster, remnants of what he used to be. He knows it’s a lot.
But a bigger part of him is just worried that Steve will see too much of him, that he’ll ruin any tiny shred of a chance that Steve might feel anything for him beyond friendship. Robin insists— keeps insisting— that he just tell him how he feels, that he might be surprised, but he can’t.
“I’m good. Don’t think I wanna get in tonight,” Eddie lies. He’s sweating under his clothes, and he wore his bathing suit trunks in hopes he could be brave. The pool would feel nice after such a hot and humid day.
“You sure?” Steve asks.
“Yeah, man. I’m fine. Go hang out with the kiddos.”
Steve doesn’t leave, though.
He tilts his head to the side, eyes searching Eddie’s. He’s biting his bottom lip between his teeth, and clearly trying to figure something out.
“Can you help me with something inside for a second?” He finally settles on, and Eddie’s a little confused, but nods in agreement. Eddie will do anything for Steve.
Steve leads them both inside, closing the sliding glass door behind them. He walks into the kitchen and leans his back against the counter. Eddie stands awkwardly a few feet away, waiting for direction.
“What did you need help with?” Eddie finally asks after Steve’s been watching him for a solid minute.
“Understanding something.”
Eddie gulps.
“Understanding what?” Eddie’s heart races.
“Why you won’t tell me how you feel.”
Steve’s stepping closer, close enough that water is dripping onto Eddie’s feet and the floor below.
“Can I kiss you?” Steve asks and Eddie’s nodding before he even fully comprehends the question.
Their lips touch and Eddie forgets why he was so scared.

Helloo i just wanted to say youre doing god's work with the whole yandere omega x reader thing. You really hit an obscure niche (compared to other omegaverse stuff) and im really happy to see someone writing about this kind of trope! That being said, may i ask for a yandere omega who's married to their alpha reader, and how the omega's yandere tendencies still manifest even though they're already married to the alpha reader? Like maybe they're still a little possessive over their alpha or they still stick close to their alpha no matter what? Thank you so much!
Yandere!omega who is living the dream. They have everything they could ever ask for; a walk-in closet with the hundreds of fine garments, multiple boxes with accessories, a lavish room with windows facing the endless garden, and a generous spouse who spoils them rotten every chance they get.
Yandere!omega who can’t help but revel in the glory and the fact that they have it so good compared to their old bullies. The same people who used so mock them for their looks and pathetic-ness, now writhe in envy. It was a satisfying sight, to say the least.
No longer were they that small and weak nerd forced to eat in the bathroom during lunch. That was in the past. It seems that the hard work had payed off and they can finally experience happiness.
Yandere!omega who, despite knowing you’d never betray them, can’t help be feel anxious whenever others gawk at you when you’re out. You’ll be walking down the street and people would turn around to look at you. You’ll sit at a table in a fancy restaurant and all they’d be able to focus on is how the serves gossip about you. Everyone wants you, it seems. Although, it’s not very surprising considering your appearance and status.
Yandere!omega who, deep down, is still insecure. What is they’re not enough? They know that to most- if not all-think that you’re way above them. Still, they managed to capture your heart and have their love reciprocated. Somehow you love them out of everybody. It’s got to count for something. But what if you see pieces of the old them and you decide everything’s over? It can’t happen. They can’t live without you!
Yandere!omega who in turn gives all those people a foul glare. There is no way they can have you. You belong to someone already; them. And they’ll never give you up. Not even if it was by your own will. Didn’t you promise on your wedding day, you’re theirs and they are yours forever? Oh, you can’t just break promises.
Yandere!omega who complains of how your secretary is bullying them and refusing on letting them into the building to bring your lunch(your secretary married themselves). They cry to you that your family is still not accepting of them and want you to break up, so you need to make choices. They tell you that your friends are bad influences and will get you in trouble one day.
Yandere!omega who hates when you spend long hours in the office. Won’t you spend more time with them? Don’t they matter, or is the paperwork more urgent? Wow, they must be soooo important to you then.
Yandere!omega who screams that you obviously don’t love them anymore. Why would you work overtime nearly every day if you weren’t avoiding them like the plague?
“I gave you my heart, soul and body the day we wed. Is it so hard for you to do the same?”

Well then.
As it turned out, your plan to make your cousin look weak was working.
The first hit was an absolute success, and Ian was already crumbling. It was lucky for you that your father wasn’t getting involved and was giving him a chance to prove himself after the first attack to the shipment, because Ian was acting exactly the way you thought he would act.
Good.
It was going to make things much easier.
Bucky had dropped by to the apartment in the middle of the day to go take a shower which was quite surprising but judging by the blood stains on his shirt, it was needed. You were sitting comfortably on the couch, resting your feet on the coffee table with a book in your lap when he came into the living room and made a beeline to you to fling himself on the couch as well, pushing your book away to put his head in your lap. You pulled your brows together, tilting your head.
“Can I help you?”
If you didn’t know it better, you would’ve thought he was pouting.
“I need like five minutes to rest my eyes,” he murmured with his eyes closed. “How someone can be so goddamn stubborn, I’ll never understand.”
“Ah,” you said. “This can only be about—”
“Becca.”
You nodded your head. “What happened?”
“Mom wants to meet her girlfriend and Becca is acting like that’s a natural disaster.”
“Hurricane Winnifred,” you muttered and Bucky opened his eyes to look up at you, but then closed them again when you absentmindedly ran your fingers through his hair to play with it.
“Can you tell her she’s being nonsense?”
“I don’t think she’s being nonsense,” you told him. “Have you met your mother?”
“She’ll be nice.”
“Like fuck she will.”
“She’s nice to you.”
“Because she knows I won’t be nice if she won’t,” you told him. “Leila on the other hand…she’s way too polite.”
Bucky hummed and looked up at you again.
“Is Becca serious about her?”
“Oh absolutely,” you said. “Picket fence house and all that nonsense.”
“With a civilian,” Bucky mumbled. “That’s going to be fun.”
“Becca would never get with someone in the business, you know that.”
“Oh I know that, but I don’t think my parents do,” Bucky said. “They still hope it will happen.”
“Winnifred and my aunt would get along well,” you muttered. “Both boy moms.”
“So are a lot of people.”
“No there’s a difference between a boy mom and a boy mom.”
“You make zero sense, Charm.”
You shrugged your shoulders, still playing with his hair but his phone buzzed, making him let out a groan.
“No!”
“You’ll be fine,” you said and he sat up with a sigh, his eyes darting over the lines before he chuckled.
“Jesus, he really is the worst heir ever.”
“Ian?”
“Guess where he’s routing the next shipment.”
You frowned. “Where?”
“West side second dock.”
Your eyes widened. “What?”
“Has your father never taught him anything, seriously?” he asked and you covered your mouth.
“West side second dock, Jesus Christ…”
“I’d better have a decoy shipment then,” Bucky murmured. “Just in case.”
“Yeah that’s a good idea,” you said. “The cops will follow that shipment and bust it with any other shipment that day.”
“I’ll talk to my guys in the force, let’s see how that plays out.”
“Both us and the cops winning,” you mused. “Never thought I’d see the day.”
“They’re not winning, it’s just going to be their small victory so that they’ll shut up for a while,” Bucky said as he stood up. “I’ll see you at dinner?”
“Sure,” you said as he kissed the top of your head. “I’ll meet my dad but I’ll be home around dinner time.”
“Have fun,” he said and walked out of the apartment, and you heaved a sigh.
“Yeah,” you muttered. “I’m sure it’ll be fun.”
                                                    *
Your lunch with your father was pretty interesting, because you knew he was trying his hardest not to let you know about the so-called attack, but he was way too tense for you to think everything was going well. You took a look at the bodyguards in the restaurant, then sipped your rosé, leaning back.
“So,” you said. “How is everything with the business?”
He shot you a look.
“You took longer than I thought you would,” he commented and you shrugged your shoulders.
“I’m just making small talk—”
“Y/N.”
You rolled your eyes.
“Fine,” you said. “I heard about the attack.”
“Of course you did,” he muttered more to himself, then sipped his drink. “There’s nothing for you to worry about.”
You tried to control your expression.
“I know,” you said. “Doesn’t mean I’m not curious. Do we know who’s behind the attack?”
“Not yet,” he said. “We’re searching for it though.”
Tension churned at your stomach but you nodded your head calmly.
“What shipment was it?” you asked. “You normally have multiple men around the perimeter, but Bucky said it looked like a sneak attack. How did they get past your people? Did they kill them?”
Your father licked his lips and heaved a sigh.
“Ian was responsible of that shipment,” he said, making you arch a brow. “He must’ve—Y/N.”
“What?” you asked innocently and he licked his lips.
“He will stumble a bit, everyone does when they first start taking responsibilities.”
You hummed.
“Funny,” you said. “I didn’t notice that with Bucky. Or Sam. Or Steve.”
“Ian is a bit more…enthusiastic to prove himself than they were, perhaps.”
You tried not to grimace at the blatant lie and took another sip so that you could control your expression.
“I’ve been told he’s fixing the situation,” your father said. “He’s much more angry at the situation than you or me.”
“But are you angry?”
“It happened in my territory, and it was my shipment, my business that they attacked,” your father said even though his voice was calm. “Of course I am angry.”
Guilt burned at your stomach but you knew you couldn’t let it affect you; what you and Bucky had done was necessary.
It wasn’t just your father’s business, it was going to be yours one day and you had to prove that Ian was a terrible option.
For the business, and the city.
One of the bodyguards came closer to mutter something to his ear and he nodded, then wiped at his mouth.
“Duty calls,” he said and you took another sip of your wine, then put the glass on the table.
“Alright.”
“Want me to drop you off?”
“No need, my driver is here,” you said as you both walked out of the restaurant. He hugged you and you kissed him on the cheek.
“Be careful.”
“Always am,” he said and one of the bodyguards opened the door for you, but before you got in, you heard your father’s voice again.
“Y/N.”
You turned around to look at him better. “Yeah?”
“How would you prevent it?” he asked. “If it was your shipment?”
A smug grin threatened to pull at your lips but you bit inside your cheek, then heaved a sigh.
“Twenty men around the perimeter,” you said. “Additional ten in every half mile, three hour shifts in rotation. Couple of cops under our pay in the outer skirts, preferably by the bridge and at least three people watching the street footage so that we would know the license plates of every car that gets a bit too close for future reference.”
He blinked a couple of times, the impressed expression on his face impossible to miss and you felt your stomach do a happy flip, then shrugged your shoulder, forcing yourself to focus.
“But it doesn’t matter,” you told him. “I’m not your heir, am I?”
With that, you got in the car and the bodyguard closed the door, the driver starting the car immediately. You grinned to yourself and leaned back in the seat as the car started moving through the street smoothly and you closed your eyes.
“Yet,” you corrected yourself. “I’m not your heir yet.”
                                            *
Bucky had texted you, saying he would miss dinner because of a meeting taking long so you had ordered some takeout, curled up on the couch with Alpine in your lap. Towards midnight he still hadn’t come home so you texted him only for him to text back the meeting was still going on, and you picked a show to bingewatch in the meantime.
For some reason you liked it when Bucky was beside you on the bed when you went to sleep.
You were so focused on the episode that you hadn’t even noticed when your phone buzzed, so when you saw the text notification from Ian, you frowned slightly.
You and Ian didn’t really text each other.
You touched the notification and sat up straighter much to Alpine’s meow of protest the moment you saw the picture of Bucky and Anna by the docks. Bucky was leaning back against the car with Anna right beside him, laughing at what you could only assume something he said.
From: Ian
Ouch. Didn’t last long huh?
Fury spread through you so fast that it made your head spin and you stood up from the couch, Alpine jumping to the floor as well. Your jaw clenched as you zoomed into the picture, then ran a hand over your face.
Of course.
The so called meeting was just a fucking excuse.
You didn’t even know why you were getting so angry, after all this whole thing was just a business deal but that was the thing; you two had a deal. That was his only request going into this marriage, that you two wouldn’t see anyone else behind each other’s back but there he was, breaking the same rule he had implemented. A mob boss not being faithful wasn’t supposed to be a surprise; you had grown up seeing it over and over again, Bucky’s own father included but this?
This was disrespect, and the fact that Ian was the one telling you about it made it so much worse.
You tried to see through the fury pounding in your head, tossed the phone aside and dug your fingernails into your palms, gritting your teeth.
That motherfucker.
How dare he?
By the time the front door opened, you had been pacing in the living room for the last half an hour, still lost in your own anger but Bucky’s voice made you stop dead in your tracks.
“Honey I’m home,” he joked as he walked in and you narrowed your eyes at him, making him tilt his head.
“What happened?”
Even if anger was radiating off of you and you knew that he could tell, you managed to smile but you had a feeling it was more of a snarl.
“How was the meeting?” you asked, your voice eerily calm and he licked his lips.
“It was fine?” he said like a question. “Why do I get the feeling that I’m about to be shot?”
You walked to the couch to grab your phone, then found the pic, your hands nearly shaking as you tossed him the phone with more force than necessary. His gaze fell on the screen before he looked at you again.
“You put people on my tail?”
“You fucking asshole!” you lunged at him but he had the same training as you had – probably heavier considering the cage fight- because he caught you basically in mid-air and twisted your arm, then pushed you before you could grab him.
“Sweetheart,” he said. “You know what the psychiatrist said about open communication, let’s talk about this.”
“You’re going behind my back?!”
“I have no idea what you’re talking about, it was a business—”
“Bullshit!”
“A business meeting,” he said as you took off your earrings to toss them aside, making him pinch the bridge of his nose in annoyance.
“Charm baby, let’s not.”
“Oh no, let’s,” you said as you jumped over the coffee table but he caught your leg before you could reach him and threw you easily to the corner of the room. You landed on your feet just as easily but the vase by the corner fell off its stand to smash into pieces. Bucky’s bodyguards by the hallway must’ve heard the noise because the door slammed open, Hannah and Paul walking inside with their guns raised.
“Mr. Barnes?”
“Leave,” Bucky ordered, rolling his shoulders back as you gritted your teeth and pulled the pocket knife out of your waistband, flipping it open.
“…Sir?”
“Everything is alright, me and my wife are just having a small disagreement.”
“Mr. Barnes, are you—”
“She’s not going to do anything to me Paul but I can’t guarantee the same thing for you,” Bucky said. “Leave, close the door behind you.”
Hannah and Paul lowered their guns, exchanging glances.
“Leave!” you snapped and they both rushed out of the door, closing it behind them in a hurry. Bucky gave you a smirk and opened his arms as if inviting you.
“It was a business meeting, princess.”
“In the middle of the night?” you asked as you stepped closer to him, both of you circling each other. “By the water? Are all your meetings that romantic?”
“We had to go check the shipment’s security because I don’t want to raise any alarms when Ian’s shipment gets busted—”
“Do you seriously think I’m that much of a gullible idiot?”
“Nah, I think you’re just jealous. It’s adorable, really.”
“I’m not fucking jealous!” you exclaimed as you lunged at him again, this time wrapping your legs around his neck to slam him to the ground even if he managed to knock the blade off your hand in the meantime. As soon as you two hit the ground, he caught your leg and flipped you two over, his hand shooting up to grab you by the neck, not putting any pressure but still strong.
Oh—
Oh fuck, this wasn’t supposed to make your heartbeat faster.
The only sound in the room was both of you breathing hard while you glared at each other for a moment, desire roaring through your veins, making your head spin.
Then his lips crashed into yours.
All your senses were too full of him for you to even think it wasn’t the best idea and to be completely honest, you couldn’t give two fucks whether it was a good idea or not, especially not when he was kissing you like this. You had no idea when you two had started ripping each other’s clothes but it was only when you felt his fingertips brush your bare waist, awakening fire underneath your skin did you realize you were only in your bra. You pulled at his crisp button up shirt until the buttons scattered around the room before you impatiently pushed it down his arms and bit at his lip, making him hiss for a moment to pull back to look down at you.
“Behave,” he warned you, smirking slightly and you tilted your head, arching a brow.
“You first.”
He let out a chuckle, then winked at you and leaned down to kiss you again.

Blue-pilled man [D.W]
Tumblr media
Summary: Sophomore year of college and life is good-- until Bruce invites your family to Thanksgiving. Thankfully your boyfriend is there to distract you-- wait, boyfriend??? Pairing: Damian Wayne x male!reader WC: 9.3k
A glitch in the system is what you’d considered yourself. There wasn’t supposed to be anything special about you, the middle child born from the rare chance the birth control didn’t work. The failed plan B. The unimportant middle child in a large family living along the West Coast. You hadn’t been anyone special, you hadn’t done anything remarkable with your life.
You’d graduated high school and flew across the country to Gotham of all places. Low housing costs, honestly, was the only reason. You’d been going to Gotham University for what? Five or so months before you’d gotten an internship at Wayne Enterprise for your major in business. It was going fine, you met some other interns and made fast friends and went out with them as often as you could.
Which is probably where you fucked up. You’d gone out to someone’s birthday party in a club, fake IDs locked in. It was fun, from what you could remember. And you were all going to head out since it was a Sunday— poor choice, you know but you went to use the bathroom when someone shoved some blue pill into your mouth. But at the time you were too drunk to care about what it was. It tasted like a mint though, so you assumed that’s what it was and thanked them for the breath mint before heading to meet your friends in the Uber.
The next morning you woke up with a raging headache and the need to vomit. Unfortunately for you, you had a meeting with the Bruce Fucking Wayne. Apparently, he interviewed each intern a couple of months into their internship and it was your turn. Surprise!
But thankfully, it led to where you are now.
As a Junior in college, you like to think you’ve been doing this long enough to get the hang of it. You’ve also been granted off-campus housing. Which was fucking amazing. You lived with one person and get this… he’s Bruce Wayne’s son! Honestly, for a nepotism baby, he was cool.
Plus, he was Robin. So it made going out to fight crime at night so much easier, and his dad— your boss in more ways than one, always understood why you were late to work. But it also meant he called you whenever Robin was called in.
“Player!” Robin shouts as you leap from roof to roof, leaving an animated dust cloud after you. “Player!” He repeats this time his voice cutting through your comms. “You’re going the wrong way!” He groans and you land on the roof, confused. He watches as you tap in the air and a holographic map pops up, taking over your field of view.
“Oh, shit!” You say, tapping a button on the bottom of the map and it shoots back to the corner it came from. “My bad, Rob!” Tapping on your waist bag, you see a selection of food and swipe to find a glowing lollipop. “Heading your way now!” Popping the lollipop into your mouth, you feel a surge over you and look down at your boots. There’s a green glow on them and you nod to yourself before jumping to the roof that was closest to him.
He nods when he sees you following him, taking off towards the robbery happening at a local, beloved restaurant.
“You think they’ll be open tomorrow?” You ask, catching up to Robin just as the two of you jump down from the roof and land across the block from the restaurant. “I was thinking we get some of their food for dinner tomorrow.” He glances at you then sighs, heading towards the restaurant.
“Considering no one’s dead, yes.” He says once he's halfway across the block. You grin and catch up to him, already scanning through your inventory for where you kept handcuffs.
“Do you reckon I could be a mad scientist?” You ask Damian as you walk into his bedroom, not even looking up from your laptop. “Or could I get roped into a cult? Am I cult material?” Sitting on his bed, you tuck one leg under you and let the other dangle off of the bed. “I don’t think I’m cult material, I’m not easy to peer pressure,” You mutter.
“No,” He sighs, setting his own laptop down next to him but he doesn’t close it. “You couldn't be a mad scientist but you would get sucked into a cult.” Gasping, you look up at him and blink.
“Nuh-uh! How?” Crossing your arms, you sit properly on his bed and shut your laptop.
“You almost signed up for the Church of Scientology last week because they asked if you wanted to take a personality test. Every time you pass by a club that asks you to join, you sit on it for a week before declining because I remind you that you’re a full-time college student with a job and a vigilante!” He lists and you huff, throwing yourself onto his bed. “It’s not your fault, though. Growing up in an environment where you didn’t feel loved would lead to a person being more susceptible to a cult. They make you feel needed, wanted.” God, you hated that he had taken that psychology course.
“Ouch,” You mutter, resting your hands on your stomach. Looking over at him, you see he’s gone back to doing his work. “Do you want me?” You ask and he glances up at you before looking back to your laptop.
“In my room? Depends on my mood.” He shrugs.
“In your life, I mean.” He looks at you this time, his hands ready to close his laptop.
“I do,” He gives one strong nod. “Considering I agreed to live with you until we graduate, I would hope I’d… enjoy your company.” Smiling, you look back to the ceiling. His ceiling is bare, although you can see the marks from the times you’ve thrown sticky balls to the ceiling and pieces got left behind. You wonder why he hadn’t taken those off yet.
Damian’s room isn’t what you had expected it to be. He has various art materials set up around his room, an entire section of his room is dedicated to his pets like their beds and toys, and his walls are covered in various items. You see drawings, news clippings, posters of various famous people he enjoys, and a full-length mirror was nailed to the back of his door. He doesn’t have a rug, he says Alfred the cat likes to tear those up. But he does have a curtain that looks like a rug.
Not to mention his swords.
His bed is nice, too. Bruce had spared no expense furnishing the place, he’d gotten the best beds possible for the two of you. Damian preferred a firmer bed, he never liked the feeling of sinking into a bed and not being in control of that. He also needed space for his pets, since there was no rule about how many could sleep in his bed now that he no longer lived in the manor. Prior to moving in, you’d pegged him as a one-pillow type of guy. But he had an absolute mountain of pillows, most of which he didn’t even use.
Tapping on the transparent food icon that was always in the corner of your eye, you watch as your inventory materializes above your body. You widen the bar into a grid and scroll until you reach a water bottle.
“Want one?” You ask. “They’re cold.” He hums and you pluck two water bottles out from the bar and toss one to him. Of course, being Damian, he catches it without looking up from his work and you roll your eyes.
“Thank you,” He says as you close out your food inventory.
Honestly, major fucking thank you to that blue pill guy. Whatever was in it had made you into your very own video game character. You could even change your appearance! It was so fucking cool, you could find random items lying around and literally create a bomb in two seconds!
Not that you’ve ever done that.
Sitting up, you take a slow sip of the water as Ace trots over to you and lifts his paw. Grinning, you pat the bed and he jumps up, bumping his nose to your arm as a greeting before curling up at Damian’s side. He glances down at his dog and mindlessly pets him along his spine.
“Have you studied yet?” He asks, lifting his eyes from his screen to meet yours for a brief moment. Capping the bottle, you toss it back into your inventory and lean back on his bed.
“A little,” You admit. “Between jobs and class, I haven’t had time. Was gonna during break, though.” He raises an eyebrow and you shove his foot. “Sorry some of us won’t be visiting family and will have an entire week to do nothing!”
“Oh, and where do you think you’re staying?” He asks, finally fully closing his laptop and setting it on his nightstand.
“Here,” You shrug as if the answer was obvious.
“Father wants you at the manor, he’s invited you to Thanksgiving,” This is news to you. Looking at him, you see Damian is looking at you before he turns his attention back to Ace. He’s old, you note. He’s gotten the powered face and you’re pretty sure he’s been sleeping on the sofa while watching late-night game shows. He even snores now.
“Oh, thanks so much for the heads up!” Scratching his backside, Ace’s leg kicks and you chuckle. His eyes crack open when you stop and he moves to nudge your hand, letting out a small howl.
“Don’t be cruel, he’s old.” Damian gestures to the dog who’s doing his best to look like he’s about to cry. Where he learned that, you’ll never know. But you lay down properly on the bed and continue to pet him. Damian pets his head, and you just barely register that he probably doesn’t want you to smash his pillows underneath you. Adjusting yourself, you look around for Alfred.
He’s awake in his cat tree, but his tail is slowly swishing in the air. A little harshly, you might add.
“Someone’s jealous,” You joke, and Damian follows where you’re looking. “Come and get pet, Alfred!” The cat lets out a chipper merwl and leaps from his place on the tree and onto the floor. There are two small thumps, one from the front paws hitting the floor and the second from the back paws. Alfred flicks his tail as he lands before jumping onto the bed in one big jump.
He nudges your free hand and when you lift it, crawls underneath forcing you to pet along his back before he settles on your chest. One thing about cats is that despite their small size, when they’re sitting directly over your ribcage they all but quadruple in weight.
“Ow,” You bite back a groan, closing one eye and slowly easing onto Damian’s pillows. “Lay down, please,” Whispering to Alfred, he blinks and then plops down as if his bones had just gone away. Chuckling, you pet wherever he asks and close your eyes.
“Fathers texted,” Damian mutters, shifting down on the bed so he could comfortably lie down. “We’re patrolling tomorrow,”
“Thank god, not tonight,” You huff, looking down at Alfred whose content on your chest. He’s purring loudly, and his front paws are neatly tucked under his body while his lower half is splayed out to the side. His eyes don’t leave your face, though. They’re half-lidded like he’s fighting sleep and you see his head rocking a bit. Scratching his forehead, he pushes his head further into your fingers and gives one lick before laying his head flat on your chest.
“He likes you too much,” Damian chides. “He’s a traitor!” Alfred doesn’t miss a beat as he rolls to turn his back to Damian, letting out the loudest sigh he can muster in his very tiny body.
“He’s a baby!” You protest. “Ain’t that right, Alfie?” In response, Alfred flicks his tail once, slowly lowering it back down to your stomach. “See,” Looking over at Damian, you see him watching his cat with an almost envious glare before he looks at you.
“You know it took me five hours to train him?” He asks as Ace gets up and jumps off of the bed. You watch for a second as he paws the door open before slipping into the hallway. Damian scoots a bit closer and raises his hand to pet Alfred. “He was totally feral before me.”
“Ah, so he was you before Bruce?” The tease is clear in your voice, your eyebrows wiggling and your chest shakes a little bit when you see his reaction.
“I wasn’t feral,” He bites, looking over at you.
“You stabbed your brothers,” You softly remind him and he scoffs, laying his head down on the same pillow you were using. But neither of you seems to notice or care.
“If they could get stabbed by a ten-year-old, they deserved it.”
Alfred stands up, his back rising to comical heights before he spawns and stretches over to Damian.
“Traitor,” You frown, rolling to your side and watching as he lays down on Damian, his tail curling under his body.
“He knows where home is,” Damian jokes, making you scoff.
“I’m gonna go take a shit,” You mutter and press a kiss to Damian’s forehead. Somewhere in your mind, it was intended for Alfred, but you missed it and didn’t realize it until you were at the door.
“I don’t mind,” Damian said when he noticed you had paused at the door.
“…Okay…” You hum and leave his room. It’s not like you’ll make a habit out of it.
A week later you’re both in the apartment's living room, Damian is busy working on this art project he’s been working on and you’re cramming for your last final of the semester. You’re sure if you read another word in that stupid textbook you’re going to explode and huff, slamming it shut before tossing it onto the pile that had amassed on the floor.
You need to do something else. Looking towards the kitchen you squint, food? No. Sighing, you look towards Damian. He’s focused on his drawing, you’d hate to disturb him. Your attention drifts down to your phone that’s vibrating on the coffee table.
Perfect timing.
You grab your phone and stand up before leaning down to kiss Damian’s cheek and say a quick “Call,” before heading into the kitchen to fix yourself a snack.
Okay, so habits quickly form, according to your track record.
Apparently, anytime either one of you leaves a room, you announce it with a kiss on the cheek or forehead— whichever is closer, and then the location. You’d actually grown to be fond of it. And it didn’t really affect your previous relationship with him. If anything, you spent more time with Damian now. Which seemed impossible considering you go to the same college, live in the same place, work at the same place, and fight crime together.
But, still. It’s just bros being bros.
“Hello?” You answer the call just before it stops ringing. Slipping the phone between your shoulder and ear, you open the fridge and lean inside for a better look. God, you need to go grocery shopping soon.
“God! I’ve been calling you for twenty minutes!” A woman shouts from the other end and you pull the phone from your ear and check the caller ID. It’s not saved and you don’t recognize it. Probably the wrong number.
“Who is this?” You ask, grabbing the butter tub and opening it. Yogurt-covered fruits. Jackpot. You set the tub on the counter and reach for a nearby bowl.
“Your mother! Hello, this is (Y/n), right?” Standing up straight, you disregard the fruit and rush into the living room and wave to get Damian’s attention. He doesn’t notice and you almost shout at him; he’s Robin and he can’t tell when his best friend is literally silently calling out for help five feet away?
“Hey, mom!” He looks up at that, slowly setting his pencil and sketchbook down. He mouths something but you don’t catch it between your blinking and pacing. “How’d you— how are you?” You cringe, biting your fist to stop yourself from speaking.
“Horrible! Where are you? We’re in Gotham,” She huffs and you whip around to Damian, eyes wide and you’re so close to lowering yourself into a squat and banging your head on the table.
“You’re here! In Gotham!” Damian sits up properly, motioning for you to put it on speaker and you do, setting the phone on the table. “How long are you here?” You ask, tugging your hands down your face.
“Two months,” Your mother answers and you swear you almost passed out right then and there. “Ujjwal, no! That place looks like it has bedbugs,” She huffs and your step-father starts to complain in Hindi. “Where are you?” She asks over the complaining. “We’re coming over!”
“I dorm, actually!” You quickly spit out, covering your mouth immediately afterward.
“Ah, why don’t you have an apartment yet?” Your step-father asks. “You know, your sister, Nadia has a house.” He says, forgetting the fact that Nadia was 27 and had won the lottery before moving to the countryside and buying her own house with her roommate since elementary school.
    “I know, abbā.” You strain.
“I still don’t know why he went to Gotham for college,” He mutters and you wouldn’t have heard it had it not been for them being on speaker.
“Come meet us!” Your mom demands. “We’re in front of Gotham Bright Hotel! Diana is tired.”
“I’m busy, mom.”
“Nonsense, come and pick us up!” She huffs.
You at Damian, silently telling him see, crazy! He nods and thinks for a second before grabbing the TV remote and hurriedly opening YouTube.
“I’m studying and I’m pretty busy,” You repeat, watching as he looks up Fire Alarm noises. “Just stay there. I heard it’s a go—“ The video plays and you thank god there wasn’t an ad and it’s loud enough to seem real. “Sorry, abbā, mom, I gotta go! Fire drill,” Hanging up, you sigh and press your forehead to the cold table.
“Why are they in Gotham?” He asks, stopping the video.
“Fuck if I know,” You grumble into the wood. “I should get a new number…” Sitting down, you stare at your phone and groan. It’s not worth it. “I’m gonna take a nap, don’t wake me up until the sun comes up, please.” Getting up, you kiss his cheek and head to your room.
It doesn’t take long for you to bump into your family. The very next day, in fact. Dick had all but begged you and Damian to come along with him and the rest of the Waynes to go and check out the tree they put in front of Gotham City Hall every year. Like the New York tree. Just way smaller and probably will be stolen before Christmas.
You’re next to Damian, your hands stuffed into your big coat and your chin trying to retreat into your scarf watching as the crane lowers the tree. It’s already decorated in yellow and red ornaments, There’s some Gotham Vigilante ornaments, too, you note and grin when you see your insignia.
“It looks nice,” You chitter to Damian who looks over at you. He laughs at your state and moves in front of you to fix your scarf. You watch him as he carefully unwraps it and measures it to an equal length. He does it incredibly fast and you hope one day you’re as good as him with— everything really.
He looks back up at you and carefully draws the middle in front of your neck. He has to lean a bit forward to wrap the material around your neck but he doesn’t mind the fact that you can see your breaths mixing with the small gap he created. You don’t either, though. His fingers graze your neck as he tucks the scarf into itself before he admires his work and nods.
“Thanks,” With a noticeably less chatter of your teeth Damian is satisfied with his work and stands next to you again. You peer over at Dick who’s grinning ear to ear, watching the tree and putting his phone back into his pocket.
“He’s like a kid or something,” You laugh and Damian follows your eyes.
“He’s up to something,” He shakes his head and glares at his brother. Feeling the glare, Dick looks over at the two of you and waves his hand wildly. “Suspicious,” Damian confirms to himself. You roll your eyes and look back to the tree. There are some people helping set it in place as it’s lowered. Hopefully, there are no bombs in it this year.
“(Y/n)?” Several heads turn to the voice and you see your younger sister grinning and rushing over to you. She’s dressed in a fancy blue winter coat, the one with a small cape on the shoulders and white fur along the edges.
“Diana…!” Behind her, you see some other family members. Your parents, both your step-parents, your siblings, and two cousins with their mom. “Oh my god.” You whisper. In truth, you probably should’ve expected they’d be there. That’s your fault.
“We should run.” You tell Damian and he considers it. But your mother must be the flash with how fast she’s in front of you.
“Where’s your hat? And you don’t have gloves!” She immediately says while removing her gloves and holding your face for a second. She removes her hands as you try not to move away from her grip, then places the back of her head to your forehead then your ears. “You’re going to get sick!”
“Is this your mother?” Bruce smiles as he stands behind you.
“Yes,” You nod, putting your hands in your pocket.
“I’m Bruce,” He introduces himself and holds his hand out. It doesn’t click fast for the others, but for Diana it does.
“Like Bruce Wayne? So, you’re Damian Wayne, right?”
Diana’s eyes gleam as she asks and for some reason, it leaves a bad feeling in your mouth. You don’t like the way she looks at him and the idea of her touching him makes you angry. He notices, you don’t know how, and places a hand on your shoulder.
“Yes.” He nods. “And you are?” Her smile falters for a second and her eyes dart to you for a second. She composed herself and removed her hands from her pocket.
“Diana, his sister!” She holds her hand out for him as the rest of your family catches up. “He must’ve talked about me a bunch!” She flashes a grin to you.
“Not at all.” He shakes his head and turns to the rest of your family. You hide a grin and he shakes their hands, he already knows their names and he’s seen their faces before so it’s just a formality on his end.
“I had already invited (Y/n) to Thanksgiving,” Bruce starts, getting everyone’s attention back to him. “Would you like to join?”
Oh god no. Please.
Damian looks over at his father with barely hidden distaste as you stare at nothing. You know they’ll jump at the chance. They’ll ruin everything.
“We’d love to!” Your father says as your stepmother nods in agreement. The rest of your family agrees and maybe it’s the cold air that makes it hard to breathe but for some reason, you can’t. You blink, trying to take in as much as possible but it’s hard and you’re sure you don’t have asthma. Not anymore at least. Subconsciously, you tug at your earlobe to try and calm down.
“We need to leave now, though.” Damian cuts off your step-father as he’s about to speak. “We have finals to study for. It was nice meeting you.” He grabs your wrist from your ear and tugs you after him; you follow him without hassle until you’re back at the car Bruce had driven in.
“I truly do not understand father's thinking. Inviting them without consulting with you was a brash and out-of-character thing for him to do.” He frowns, unlocking the car with the keys he snagged from Bruce’s pocket. You used to wonder how he did it, but you’ve learned to not truly question him and his methods. Just hope he teaches you then one day.
“Yeah,” Is the only thing you manage to say. Only Damian really knew about your family, the others just knew you weren’t very close with them.
It was one night, you figured. You’ll be fine.
Bruce had requested everyone be at the manor before noon, which to Damian reads as being at the manor by nine. It’s less than a two-hour drive from your apartment to the manor, so you had to be up since four in the fucking morning. Which, honestly, you didn’t mind all that much.
It was a little homey just sitting with Damian in the living room and the sun wasn’t up yet, and then taking turns getting ready. It was nice. Different too. It almost distracted you from the fact that you were about to see your family.
“Is this okay?” You ask Damian as you enter his room, tugging at the hem of your sweater. He was already dressed, in a simple black shirt and brown pants but he made it look expensive. You felt stupid and like someone pretending to be important. God, your pants didn’t even fit right! You should probably go and change, find something from one of the gala’s you’ve attended.
“You look perfect,” He says as he removes your hands from the hem and locks your hands together to stop you from leaving. “Cuff the ends of your pants, perhaps.” He adds offhandedly. You frown and look behind him. He has a small bag packed and you look back at him.
“I don’t wanna go,” You whisper, searching his face for a sign that he’ll agree and you’ll both stay in your apartment for the night. You won’t have to see your family and probably finally block them. He won’t have to deal with his brothers. It’s a win-win situation.
“Take this opportunity,” He says and lets go of one of your hands to grab his bag from his bed. “Show them how good you’re doing. You’re basically a Wayne, you’re above them in every way possible.” Shouldering his bag, he guides you to your room and hands you your bag.
“But…” You bite your cheek and take the bag. “What if… I dunno— I do something stupid! I slip up and reveal everything… I’m probably better off just sitting there. Diana will do most of the talking anyway.” You huff the last part. “Did you see the way she acted? I mean, she definitely toned down the spoiled and entitled energy but still. She’ll probably try and get with you, too.” His face scrunches at the thought and it makes you laugh.
“You should know she’s far from my type.” He says as he checks his phone and you don’t really understand but you pretend you do.
“Can you grab Alfred? Pennyworth is here.” Humming, you enter the living room and grab the carrier that Alfred is less than happy to be in from the table. You try and keep him as stable as possible while Damian gets Titus and the two of you head out. He locks the door and you add an extra measure from your toolbar before going to the elevator.
“You’ll be fine,” He swears as the two of you step inside. There’s no one else in the elevator seeing how early in the day it is and all the students have already gone home. “Besides, I’m sure one of my moronic brothers will do something embarrassing and do all the talking for us. And Pennyworth has promised knafeh.”
“I love knafeh,” He grins and steps out of the elevator.
“That’s why I asked him to make it.” And they call him a demon.
Following Damian, you spot Alfred waiting in front of the car with a warm smile.
“Good morning, Mr. Pennyworth,” You greet him while giving him a one-armed hug.
“Good morning, Mr. (L/n),” He pats your back then moves to open the car door. “Young Master Damian,” He nods and Damian nods back. The two of you scoot into the car and you set the cage in front of your legs. Alfred meows when he realizes he’s going back to the manor and begins to scratch at the bottom of the cage.
“I’m sure he misses the open space,” You comment, trying to peer down inside of the cage but you can only lean down so far without fearing you’d break your back.
“Alfred is truly a pampered cat,” Pennyworth says as he enters the car. “Buckle up.”
The ride is spent with you and Damian discussing random topics from your next patrol to your finals. He had even gotten Alfred to join in on the topic and the two of them all but yelled at you to study for your finals. Eventually, you did cave and promised them you would and you just know Damian is going to hold you to that.
“Now,” Alfred sighs as he parks the car in front of the door to the manor. “I have to retrieve your family along with Master Dick. Do not tell the others this, but I trust you two the most in the kitchen. Could you please continue my preparations?”
“Of course, Alfie!” You grin while Damian just nods. Alfred smiles and looks at the two of you through the rearview mirror.
“Thank you, I have a list on the fridge. Simply follow it until I get back.” With the promise not to fuck anything up, the two of you head into the manor and quickly put your things into his room and let Alfred out.
“You’re better with a knife,” You mutter as you read over the list on the fridge. A  list probably isn't even the right word for it. It’s four pages long and double-sided, explains what’s being made and the steps to make it and you’re not sure that’s even all of the papers he’s created. Alfred tends to go big for Thanksgiving, you think it’s because the Wayne’s hadn’t been a big family until Bruce got addicted to taking in kids. Not to mention now your family was joining. “I’ll season the food.”
Damian peers over at the list as you move to wash your hands and sees that everything has a time next to it, they’re already a little behind schedule so he’ll need to work quickly. He’s sure that the two of you can catch everything back up to speed and hopefully allow Alfred some breathing room.
It’s vegetables after vegetables for Damian. He’s sure he’s cut up an entire acre of carrots and onions by the time he sees the two cars pull up to the manor. You, on the other hand, are having fun mixing and mashing various foods. You just hoped it was to Alfred’s standards.
You see both of the cars pull up and take that as your sign to wrap up whatever you’re doing and you wash your hands.
“I’m a pro fucking chef,” You grin at Damian as he sets the last of the stuff he chopped into a bowl next to the sink.
“It smells good.” He agrees, watching as the cars pull to a stop just long enough for everyone to get out. Your family piles out of the cars and you cringe as Diana is quick to insist on a family photo. You, of course, are not included in it but that’s nothing new. That fact doesn’t do anything to satiate your mood, though.
“Bathroom,” You say as you kiss his cheek and head down the hallway. He watches with a frown before he wipes his hands on the kitchen towel and decides he’s not going to greet your family at the door.
He stops at the first-floor bathroom and hears the faucet running. He knocks on the door once with his index knuckle and hears the water stop running.
“I’m going to be in the family library,” Looking up from your spot on the top of the toilet, you wipe your face and clear your throat.
“Okay, be there in a second.”
Entering the family library, you’re glad your family wasn’t inside just yet. They were probably still taking pictures in front since god knows how many individual and group pictures they like to take. Damian is sitting on the middle couch, Titus and Ace are sandwiching him together but Ace moves when he sees you. Like he knows you’re going to sit there.
It makes you smile and you greet Tim who’s on a chair, he gives a small wave without pulling his head out of his laptop. You wonder what case he’s working on, has to be important if Bruce couldn’t force him to keep it in his room. The others aren’t downstairs yet, so it’s just the three of you in the room.
Damian moves his left arm to the top of the sofa as you sit down and only when you’re comfortable does he move it to lay across your shoulders. He doesn’t do that often, but whenever he does it’s a welcomed interaction. You lean into his touch, just a little.
You hear them enter the manor, but you’re more focused on the fact that he started to play with the hair on the base of your scalp. He’s probably doing it on purpose, but you don’t care; you’re glad he does because you didn’t even realize they had entered the library until you felt him greet them. His shoulder bounces a bit as he nods to them.
“Oh,” Nadia says and you look over at her. She says it in the same way you’d say oh when you catch onto something. But you’re not sure what she’s caught onto. Her roommate, Kendall, waves with her fingers and you wave back. “Hey, squirt.” Your eyes turn back to your sister and her hand that twitches to grab Kendall’s.
“There you are!” Her hand snaps back to her side as your mother speaks. You sit up straight as you see your mother, you don’t know why. But it felt wrong leaning on Damian with your family there, you’ve never felt that way before. “Why didn’t you greet us at the door?” Your mother asks.
“I was busy.” You say, looking over your family. “How was the ride?”
“No one shot at us,” Your cousin laughs, throwing himself onto one of the sofas. You cringe, watching the wood bend at the sheer force he’d thrown himself down with. “But there was this one lady with the only gyatt!” He says and oh my god, you’d forgotten he was a middle school boy.
“How’s school going?” Your step-mother asks, sitting in your father's lap. Your mother eyes them and you try not to as well, but you’ve never liked them together. She’s twenty-five, hardly old enough to be with a man in his fifties.
   “Good,” You hum.
“So,” Diana grins as she crosses her leg over her right. “Damian, what’s it like— living in Gotham? I bet it’s scary.” She’s sitting on the sofa next to the one you’re on, but closer to Damian. You bet if your folks weren’t in the rooms she’d try and reach for his hand. You try and not to focus on that.
   “It’s not,” He shrugs.
“Really?” She grins. “Because I was thinking of transferring to Gotham University!” She says and Damian’s fingers twitch along your back.
“It’s not scary for me, someone who isn’t used to life here will never make it.” He quickly adds and she frowns.
“It can’t be that hard,” She waves her hand to you. “I mean, (Y/n) is doing fine and he’s… him!” She laughs as she says that and you look at your parents, they’re clearly listening to the conversation but as per usual, no one will ever stop Diana.
“What’s that supposed to mean?” Damian asks while leaning forward in his seat.
“There you two are!” Dick shouts as he runs into the library. His eyes look between the two of you and he makes the same face he does when he sees a cute dog.
   “Richard.” Damian greets.
“Kori!” You gasp and rush over to the woman as she walks into the room. Damian grumbles something but stands up and follows after you. “Oh my god, Dick didn’t mention you were coming.” You glare at him but he holds his hands up.
“We wanted to keep it a surprise,” She laughs and holds onto his shoulder. “His father has the baby.” Two months ago, Kori had given birth to their daughter, Mari. You had yet to meet her, but Dick made sure to spam-send you photos whenever he could.
“Aw!” You frown. “Why does that old man get to see the baby first?” Damian hides his laughter and you nudge his side with your hip.
“Because she’s my grandchild,” Bruce says as he walks in behind them. He walks next to Kori and you see her swaddled in a purple blanket, sound asleep.
“And I’m the godfather!” You remind him, looking down at Mari.
“As am I,” Damian reminds you and you roll your eyes, waving your hand at him.
“Can I hold her?” You whisper, afraid you’d wake her up. Bruce nods and you grin, helping him slide Mari into your arms. “She’s so small,” Turning to Damian, he holds your shoulder with one hand, and the other scoops under the hand that holds Mari’s head. He’s trying not to smile in front of Dick but you can see it.
“She has your hair, Richard.” He notes, turning to his brother as he puts his phone back into his pocket as quickly as possible. He raises an eyebrow but doesn’t broach the topic.
“And her mother's eyes,” Dick smiles at his wife.
“Let’s sit,” Bruce says and you nod, unable to look away from Mari in fear of dropping her. Damian guides you back to your seats and you slowly lower yourself onto the couch.
“She’s less fragile than you think,” He softly reminds you and you finally look away from her. Damian looks away from Mari and looks at you, his eyes flickering across your face before they settle on your eyes.
“She’s so small, though.” You frown and he nods, moving some of your hair from your face. “Wanna hold her?”
“Wish Jay took that much of an interest in her.” Dick frowns, watching the two of you. “First grandchild of the family!”
“Hopefully only grandchild for a while,” Bruce says as he unbuttons his jacket to sit comfortably.
“I doubt you’ll have a baby problem anytime soon.” Tim laughs, finally putting his laptop away. “Dickie is the only one of us to date a woman.” Dick laughs and Bruce genuinely has to think about it. Had he raised a home filled with gay people? Did he make kids gay? He’s one for four at the moment but he sort of wishes Duke and Cas would even the scores out a bit. No— he’s zero for five. He corrects himself, remembering Dick’s boyfriend from a few years back.
“Not true,” You cross your arms, oblivious to Bruce’s spiral. “Steph—“
“You know what I meant!” He rolls his eyes. “He’s the only guy in this family who’s dated a woman.”
“No,” You shake your head while looking at Damian. “Didn’t you date uh… what’s her name? Nika?” He looks almost offended that you said that.
   “(Y/n), she’s gay.” He corrects.
“Alexis?”
“She was delusional.”
“Emiko?”
“Friends.”
“Maxinne?”
“Friends. Why do you think I’ve dated these women?” The man himself walks into the library with Alfred.
“…Jason…” You admit and he gives you a Are you fucking serious look. Jason looks confused for a second but he can get a hint of what’s happening based on Damian and Dick’s face.
“You believed Todd to tell you the truth of my love life?” He stresses and now you feel stupid.
“When you say it like that!” You huff, turning your head away from him. “I mean he also said you dated Jon.”
“And that didn’t give you a sign he was lying?” He chuckles.
“So, are you single?” Your mother asks and you catch Diana pretending not to listen but she leans in closer.
“No.” Damian answers in a tight tone and you frown.
“No?” You echo and he looks at you, bewildered.
“No shot,” Jason laughs, his head tilted. “You two with me.” He points between the two of you and you look between his family, a similar look spreading across their faces. What the fuck is going on? But you follow Jason after Damian handed Mari back to Dick. He doesn’t look happy, you note as he walks two paces ahead of you; something he hardly ever does.
Jason guided the two of you into a smaller library that Bruce uses when he’s having meetings. You stand on the carpet while Damian stands close to the fireplace.
“Damian,” Jason says as he closes the doors. “Are you single?”
“No.” He snaps.
“(Y/n),” He turns to you. “Are you single?”
“Yes…?” You trail. “Why?”
“Figure it out!” Jason laughs and then leaves the room. Staring at the door, you sigh and sit on the couch, leaning your arms on your legs.
“(Y/n),” Damian calls. “Why didn’t you tell your family we’re together?” His voice is smaller than before and he doesn’t look at your face, like he’s ashamed.
“We’re what?” You shout, your head snapping over to him. “Dude, since when?” He realizes it then and now it makes sense.
“You kissed me.” He stresses and sits down across from you.
“Yeah, on the cheek!” You roll your hand. “That’s normal and totally not romantic!” He crosses his arms and you shrink into your seat under his gaze.
“Do you kiss all of your friends?” He asks, an eyebrow raised in the air. You humor it for a second, thinking about kissing one of your college friends on the cheek like you did with him. It seemed gross, wrong. As if it was some sort of violation. That those kisses between you and Damian were sacred and to even think about it with someone else was somehow an act against god.
“Well, no,” You blink down to the floor.
“Then why me?” He asks. You don’t understand at that moment, but when you look back on the conversation you realize he was guiding you to an answer you already knew.
“I mean, it just feels right with you.” Looking back at him, he’s smiling and his eyes are bright. “But I’ve never liked a guy before.” You admit, taking in a deep breath. “I dunno how to be in a gay relationship.”
“It’s the same as any other relationship.” He reassures you. “If that’s what you want.” He adds, holding your hand. You look at your hands together and smile. Do you want that?
You imagine yourself, going on dates with him and announcing each other as your boyfriend. Kissing him. Like actually kissing him. And it makes your face hurt with how much you’re smiling. You’re giddy, like some kid with a crush and you feel stupid for not putting two and two together sooner.
“I think I do.” You look at him and hold his hand back. “I do.” You nod. “I want that— this.”
“Good,” He sighs, his shoulders relaxing. “Because my family already knows.” He admits and you look at the door. Jason is probably still there, listening and reporting back to the others.
“Do you want other people to know?” You ask. “I know you consider your private life… private.”
“I would love nothing more than to introduce you as my partner.” He says, his thumb rubbing against your flesh.
“If I knew you liked me this much before I would’ve made a move sooner,” You laugh, looking between his eyes. He rolls his eyes and stands up, pulling you with him.
Once you’re on your feet, he holds you by your hips and you don’t exactly know what to do with your hands. You settle on holding his waist, you’ve never realized just how toned he was.
“Can I?” He asks, bringing his left hand up to brush against your bottom lip. Understanding what he’s asking, your heart hammers in your chest as you nod. “Use your words, Habibi.”
“Yes.” You nod feverishly and he dips in without a second thought. His left hand cups your face, trying to pull you closer and you’re doing the same with his waist. Digging into his skin, you’re sure your lips are going to bruise with how needy you’re kissing him. It’s almost shameful how easily you’re crumbling under his touch. Your stomach is doing tricks that only Dick could perform and for some reason, you don’t know why you didn’t do this sooner.
Never has a kiss felt this good, this right. His right hand moves from your hip and travels up, surely messing up your shirt but that’s a worry for another time. You can only focus on how it’s now holding the back of your head, his nails dragging across your scalp and you can’t help the noise that comes out.
“Oh?” He utters against your lips. You laugh and take the time to catch your breath, looking between his eyes, listening to your shared panting.
“Again?” You’re almost pleading, your eyes stuck on his lips.
“Of course.” This kiss is different, it’s less of a release and more of a we have all the time in the world now type of kiss. It’s slow and it’s tender, you feel all the details in his lips and how yours moves against his. This one feels like a hum you’ve known all your life and it’s wonderful.
This time, your hands find his hair and you don’t realize it, but you’re dragging your nails across his scalp and playing with his hair. He does, though. It makes his heart hammer and he moans into the kiss, unable to do anything but focus on you.
“Alright, that’s enough!” Jason says as he opens the door. Without breaking the kiss, you open your hot bar and with pure muscle memory, grab the water gun and spray him until he leaves. Damian laughs, pulling away from the kiss, and looks at Jason who’s trying to avoid getting sprayed but it seems like Damian’s rubbed off on you more than you realize it because damn, even when he moves you’re still hitting him!
He looks back to you and you’re still looking at him, your pupils blown wide and he can feel the light panting coming from you. Your lips are glossy, coating in both of your spit and he’s sure his are too. He can get used to that.
“We should head back,” He reasons, lowering your water gun. “Before father sends Grayson and he starts crying like before.” Throwing the gun back into your hot bar, you give him a questioning look. “When I announced we were dating… he cried.”
“You’re joking?”
“Unfortunately not.” He rolls his eyes and stands up straight, fixing his clothes and his hair. You do the same while Jason is going on about cleaning up the water and having to change. There’s no water on the floor, you note as you walk out of the library. None on the walls either. Every single one of them hit Jason.
Back in the family library, you return to your seats and Tim is the first to notice both of your elated moods. It’s more visible on you, but it’s harder to spot with Damian. It’s more of a feeling he gets, his face is as neutral as he can be when he’s around you but he’s so clearly happy. His steps are different, he imagines if he had less dignity he’d skip around the manor. The two of you settle in your seats and he’s pleasantly surprised to see you lean into Damian without a care of who else is in the room.
He’d gotten the text, along with every other sibling from the NO BRUCE!!! group chat. Jason, only seconds after closing the door had told everyone that you didn’t know of your own relationship. Safe to say you knew now.
Tim looks at your family and the only happy one seems to be Nadia. She’s a somber type of happy, though. She’s happy for you, but she can’t bring herself to be half as bold as you are and it hurts. Diana is trying to wrap her head to a different conclusion, she’s holding onto hope that you’ll be pushed away. It almost makes him laugh. Your older brother is in his own world, as he’s always been. He’s quiet, hardly noticeable but it seems to be on his own devices as he had picked the furthest seat from everyone.
But it seems to be from more of an air of misplaced pride than anything. His nose is turned up and he’s wearing an expensive suit. But it’s clearly not his, Tim would know. If there’s the money to splurge on that type of suit there’s always a tailor to get the proportions right.
Then there’s your half-sibling, from your father's side. She’s around ten and he wonders just when did your parents separated. Then he remembers there’s a seventeen-year age gap between the oldest and the youngest of your siblings. She’s sleeping, her head on her father's shoulder and the forgotten iPad discarded on her lap, about to fall off and hit the carpet.
Your father sees the two of you and looks at your mother who’s trying to keep her calm around the company— rich company at that. Tim doesn’t know why, but if he were them, he would at least try and pretend as if he’s happy for the relationship. Their son was dating the richest bachelor in the world and could very possibly give them a comfortable life. But he doesn’t think they see the bigger picture.
And yet, despite the clear disgust throughout your family, no one says a single word. The entire library is silent save for Mari and the two of you, talking as if no one else is in the room.
He wants to gag.
“Kids,” Bruce says as he sits straight in his seat. “Could you leave us for a moment? I’d like a word with the adults.”
“Half of us are adults,” You chide and he gives you a look.
“A word with the parents.” He corrects.
“I’m still in, baby!” Dick silently cheers to not wake Mari. But it only makes Bruce sigh and pinch the bridge of his nose.
“A word with (Y/n)’s parents and aunt. Alone.” He stresses. Curious as to what he’s up to, and mostly afraid of what’s going to happen while you’re gone, you open your hot bar without causing too much attention to yourself. The Hotbar is only visible to yourself, so no one sees the vast list of gadgets you pull up and quickly find the listening device Tim created.
“Don’t need to ask me twice,” You grumble and stand up, pulling Damian up after you.
Jason and Tim are already out of the room, there any fewer interactions and they’ll jump at the opportunity. Dick and Kori, despite wanting to enjoy the snow in the yard with the others, retreat to Dick’s room to nap while Mari is sleeping.
You hold the door open for your siblings and cousin, but Damian sees you place the device on the door and raises an eyebrow
“(Y/n),” Bruce says in a low tone. Of course, he’d seen it, too.
“Gotta go!” You urge and slip out of the room.
Diana, alone in the yard as her family had drifted away, finds herself bored and honestly, she’s at Wayne Manor and she just has to show off. She hasn’t posted the pictures yet, she still needs to edit them so no one knows she’s there. And she’s sure her followers would love to see a snowy Wayne manor.
Thankfully, the wifi was stable enough in the backyard that the connection for her Instagram Live was crystal clear.
She waits until she sees five digits on the view counter before he even starts speaking.
“Hey, guys!” She waves at her phone. “Bruce Wayne invited my family to his manor for Thanksgiving! Super grateful for that,” She nods towards the large manor and then at the comments, begging to see the man in question. “He’s inside, talking to my parents. But his kids are here too! I think Damian went into the maze…” She looks off to the green hedges coated in a thick layer of snow. “I’ll go and find him.”
She flips the camera around, and her viewers watch as she walks inside. She doesn’t notice right away, but nearly gasps when she sees she has just over two million people watching. Maybe you are good for something, she almost laughs.
It takes about twenty minutes of aimlessly walking before she finds the center of the maze. The two million viewers had gone down to just a million but she’ll take it.
“I think that’s it,” She mutters, seeing a clearing of bushes. It’s incredibly cold, so she’s shivering and her teeth are chattering but she can’t blame herself! She’s not used to snow. “There’s Damian!” She whispers, seeing his head of hair sitting on a bench. Pointing her phone in that direction, she decides it’s better to hide herself and look through her phone.
From what people can see, Damian is sitting next to someone. They can’t tell until she turns the phone a bit more and it’s you. Gotham citizens know you, of course. Over the past couple of years, everyone in Gotham knows the two of you are friends but no one really cares to post about it.
She rolls her eyes, of course, you’re still stuck to his side. The two of you are talking, but you’re too far away for Diana to hear the conversation. You’re laughing, though and Damian is explaining something. Your laughter slows down and the two of you just sorta of look at each other.
Damian asks something and you scoff, looking away before he grabs your chin and leans in. The viewer count is going up and before Diana can fully process what’s happening, the two of you are kissing. Honestly, she’s furious! You knew she liked him, she’s sure of that. This— whatever game you’re playing is just to get at her. She’s sure of it. But she can’t act on it, the views are around eight million and she doesn't want Damian to think she’s crazy.
He’s holding you dearly, it’s the gentlest he’s ever touched a person before and you’re proud to say you’ll be his first and only.
His lips detach for yours and trail down to your chin.
“Habibi,” He mutters and you shudder, feeling the vibrations against your neck. Honestly, at that moment you genuinely could not give a single fuck about your family. About their feelings towards you, about the ways they treated you growing up, and about them. As people. Each and every one of them, none of them could ever compare to this.
Thank that blue-pilled man, seriously.

Support class dick hc, kinks + How they fuck
Cw: knives, rough sex, blood
Sniper
•Dick: I’d say about 6, 6 1/2 inches if I’m being generous here. Definitely not thin, it’s got some girth to it that’s for sure. He never ever clean shaves he thinks it looks weird (he’s not wrong) so he’ll definitely just trim up a little or maybe not at all. Wild man moment. Plus, he kinda loves the scruffy look he has going on. I know everyone says he’s uncircumcised and i definitely agree with that. Tip is not red but definitely a deep pink, it’s cute. Two visible veins, one on the top of his shaft and one underneath it. So he’s very very sensitive.
•How he fucks: Rough. He likes to be fucked hard and to fuck hard. His favorite position to see you in is definitely mating press or doggy style (with a knife to your throat) he loves to see your face contort with pleasure and fear. He’s very vocal i mean haven’t you heard his voice lines. Come on. He loves telling you how great of a fuck toy you can be when you aren’t being a cunt or a teasing slut. He doesn’t have a favorite place to cum really.. Whenever he gets his rocks off is where it stays so.
•Kinks
Praise: definitely, but backhanded praise “look at you, good little slut.” Stuff like that you know?
Predator vs prey play: I know this is so basic but oh my goodness he LOVE LOVE LOVEEEESSS to chase you down and just fuck your brains out if your skull. Like I said, he likes it rough. (Me next)
Knife play: Ofc this is one of them. That mf is a literal animal. He just likes the power trip tbh. Having your life in his very hands, though he’d never do anything to ever hurt it.. it’s hot to watch your fearful eyes and if you enjoy it just as much as he does, you’re in for a ride of dirty talk and rough hard sex.
Public sex: touching you while in public. Something about it. Maybe it’s bc he likes to tease and see how long you can last without gripping his arm while shaking and begging to cum or maybe it’s because nobody around you can (probably) tell how good he’s pleasing you, and how they’ll never get a chance to touch a wonderful lady like you the way he does. Who knows
BREEDING: Though he is scared to have kids and will take every procedure to make sure you won’t get pregnant, he still loves to just cum inside of you all day, everyday. (Same sniper.)
Stepping: he probably likes to be stepped on. He’ll buy you beautiful, expensive heels just so you can step on him or press against his hard cock. (Meow.)
Spy
•Dick: solid 5 1/2, it’s not too thin but not exactly thick.. it stretches you very very nicely that is for sure. He trims it constantly. He is never out of order, he takes too much pride in himself to let it grow out like that wretched bushman. Uncircumcised, his dick skin is like.. oddly soft and velvety. One small vein on the side of his cock, it’s nice. Tip, I’d say, is a light cute pink.
•How he fucks: He either makes love for a long time or he plows you hard. Usually both. He rides the fine line very well. While he goes at it soft and caring, he teases you a lot. Vibrators, toys, his finger, his mouth. He just likes to tease you a lot.. but once he slips in, its game over for him. He can’t help it. He has to fuck you like an animal in heat.
•Kinks
Lingerie for sure. He loves to either buy them for you to give you his card to buy yourself some and then surprise him with it! (Will probably write a fic based off this)
Spanking or brat taming: He will absolutely wreck your ass if you talk back to flirt with ANYONE. He will spank you so hard you’ll become a babbling mess.
Body worship: Giving or receiving, he loves to tease you by kissing down your gorgeous body and leave small bites all over you. Nipping, kissing, nipping, kissing. You know. Backhanded kisses
Medic
•Dick: He’s German and from my experience, they’re packing serious heat. 7 inches hard. Argue with the wall because I will not listen. Tummy bulge will happen so be prepared. Much like spy he keeps himself in check, trims every couple of days. Circumcised, dark pink with a red hue tip. It’s sensitive as hell. No visible veins until he gets to fucking, then they all start popping out. Thick. Hard stretch that’s for sure.
•How he fucks: They all fuck hard but him.. dear lord. Pray and buckle up because he will bruise your cervix. He pounds. He doesn’t even fuck, HE SLAMS. bed? broken, operating table? broken, desk? Broken twice. He loves to just fuck you into a mindless mess. That’s all
•Kinks
Roleplay: He loves to roleplay anything really. Nurse and doctor, doctor and patient, boss and intern, things like that.
Knife play: scalpels are going to be pressed against your skin.. which leads me to my next kink hc
Blood kink: Licks the blood off of your wounds or the small cuts he marks your body with. If you have a period, best believe he will be begging to fuck you on it
“Meine Liebe! It feels so much better when you’re on your period, it also relieves cramps too!”

listen im lowkey obsessed w the idea of schlatt x reader who doesnt stream or anything but is a guest on chuckle sandwich
Ok I LOVE THIS! My mind immediately went to when Charlie was still on the pod so hope that’s ok! (You can just pretend it’s tucker for all the tucker lovers)
Also, this is Fem reader!
Jschlatt || Podcast Cameo
Tumblr media
You’ve always been a little outside the world of streaming and content creation. While your boyfriend, Schlatt, was making waves online, you preferred to stay in the background, supporting him quietly. You loved the privacy, the comfort of your normal life, and the knowledge that while he entertained millions, he came home to you.
But one day, that quiet routine was interrupted when Schlatt casually mentioned, “Hey, how would you feel about being on Chuckle Sandwich?”
You looked up from your book, eyebrows shooting up in surprise. “Me? On the podcast? Schlatt, I don’t even use social media. No one knows me. What would I even talk about?”
He grinned, leaning against the doorframe with that mischievous look you knew all too well. “That’s the point. You’re not like anyone else we’ve had on, and I think it’d be fun. Plus, it’s a chance for the world to see why I’m so obsessed with you.”
You rolled your eyes, your heart fluttering despite yourself. “Obsessed, huh? You’re laying it on thick today.”
“Can’t help it,” he shrugged, walking over to sit you, pulling you into his arms. “I just think you’d be great. Besides, you already know and like the guys. They’ll make it easy on you.”
You hesitated for a moment, then sighed, resting your head on his chest. “I don’t know, Schlatt. I’m not used to being in the spotlight like you are.”
He tilted your chin up, his gaze softening as he looked into your eyes. “You’ll be fine. I’ll be right there with you the whole time. And if you don’t like it, we never have to do it again. But I really think you’ll surprise yourself.”
With his arms around you and that earnest look in his eyes, it was hard to say no. “Alright, fine. I’ll do it. But only because you asked.”
“Good choice,” he murmured, leaning down to press a slow, lingering kiss to your lips. “I can’t wait to show you off.”
The day of the recording arrived faster than you expected. You felt a mix of nerves and excitement as you walked into the recording studio with Schlatt by your side. Charlie and Ted greeted you warmly, as they always did, immediately making you feel at ease. They were as goofy and charming in person as they were on camera, and it wasn’t long before you were laughing along with them.
“So, what made you decide to put up with Schlatt here?” Charlie teased, leaning back in his chair as the recording began.
You shot Schlatt a playful glance, “Honestly? I think it’s his weird mix of sarcasm and sweetness. It keeps me on my toes.”
Schlatt grinned, resting his hand on your thigh under the table.
Ted jumped in, his voice full of curiosity. “So, how do you handle the whole ‘dating a youtuber’ thing? It’s gotta be pretty different from a regular relationship.”
You thought about it for a moment, feeling Schlatt’s thumb gently stroking your leg. “It is different, but it’s also kind of nice. I love that he has something he’s passionate about, and it makes the time we spend together even more special. Plus, I get to see a side of him that the audience doesn’t. A side that’s softer, sweeter… maybe even a little bit shy.”
Schlatt laughed, his hand giving your leg a light squeeze. “ Me!? Come on, you’re making me sound soft.”
You turned to him, your eyes sparkling with affection. “You are soft, sometimes. Especially when we’re alone.”
The guys erupted in playful jeers and teasing comments, but Schlatt just leaned in closer, his lips brushing against your ear. “Keep talking like that, and I might just have to show you how rough I can be.”
Your breath hitched slightly, your cheeks flushing at his words. You shot him a look that was both amused and flustered, and he chuckled lowly, clearly enjoying your reaction.
The conversation continued, flowing effortlessly from topic to topic, with Charlie and Ted keeping the mood light and fun. They asked you questions about how you and Schlatt met, your life as someone without social media, and what it was like dating someone with such a large online presence. You answered honestly, with Schlatt chiming in every so often with a sarcastic quip or a teasing remark that had you all laughing.
At one point, the conversation turned to pet peeves, and you couldn’t resist poking fun at Schlatt. “He leaves his clothes everywhere. I swear, it’s like a trail of evidence from the front door to wherever he is.”
Schlatt groaned, but there was a playful look in his eyes. “And you’re perfect, huh?”
You shrugged, giving him an innocent smile. “Pretty much.”
The banter flowed naturally, and before you knew it, the recording was wrapping up. Ted turned to you with a grin. “You did great. You’re super entertaining. Ever thought about starting your own channel?”
You shook your head, laughing. “Oh, no. I think I’ll leave that to you guys. I’m happy just being the supportive girlfriend.”
Schlatt wrapped an arm around your shoulders, pulling you close. “And I’m more than happy to keep you all to myself.”
As the recording ended and the mics were turned off, you felt a wave of relief mixed with a sense of accomplishment. You’d done it. You’d stepped out of your comfort zone and had actually enjoyed yourself.
Charlie and Ted both gave you hugs, thanking you for being a guest. “You’ve got to come back sometime,” Charlie said with a wink. “We’ll make a regular out of you.”
“We’ll see,” you replied, smiling. “Maybe I’ll make a cameo every now and then.”
As you and Schlatt left the studio, he slipped his hand into yours, giving it a gentle squeeze. “See? Told you you’d be great.”
You leaned into him, feeling the warmth of his body against yours. “You were right. I actually had fun.”
“I’m glad,” he murmured, his voice softer now that you were alone. “And just so you know, I wasn’t kidding when I said I wanted to show you off. I love that you’re mine, and I wanted everyone to see how amazing you are.”
Your heart swelled at his words, and you stopped walking, turning to face him. “You know, for someone who tries to act tough all the time, you can be really sweet.”
Schlatt grinned, his hands finding your waist and pulling you closer. “Only for you. Don’t go spreading that around.”
You laughed, wrapping your arms around his neck as he leaned in, his lips touching yours. “Your secret’s safe with me.”

Cherri Bomb: “That’s good. No body is good. They would’ve left it for us to find if they'd- it’s fine if she’s missing. She probably just, wandered off somewhere.”
Husk: “If half of this shit is her blood then she didn’t go fucking far.”
Charlie: “She wouldn’t just leave. S-she’d check on me, on us, she’d make sure I was okay first!”
Angel Dust: “Maybe ain't dead. Maybe she got took.”
Charlie: “…what..?”
Husk: “Took?”
Angel Dust: “Taken back. Like, UP.”
Cherri Bomb: “Angie, heaven kills people, they don’t grab ‘em like toys in a claw game-”
Angel Dust: “Well what ELSE were they here for, huh!?”
Cherri Bomb: “But they-... they were…”
Angel Dust: “Not tearing into the hotel, not purging the city. Not killing ME, afterwards, once she took the bait and she took the fucking hit for me. I was a sittin' duck with no weapons and they let me run.”
Husk: “Why? They don’t fucking want her, they fucking put her down here, why-”
Cherri Bomb: “-look at Charlie.”
Husk: “The fuck does that mean-”
Cherri Bomb: “Look at the fucking PRINCESS OF HELL you stupid assfuck!”
Charlie: “….”
Charlie: “… they left her ribbon.”
Charlie: “…her spear…”
Charlie: “…and.”
Husk: “Oh fuck no.”
Angel Dust: “Is that- an EYE!?”
Charlie: “Her eye.”
Cherri Bomb: “-shit. SHIT.”
Angel Dust: “But she already only had the one! If they used, if it’s- for real- does that, is she-?”
Charlie: “…”
Charlie: “If they took her then she’s alive. She’ll be okay. She’ll be okay…”
Charlie: “…Husk. Find Alastor and Niffty. Carmilla, Rosie, the Vees- all the Overlords. Bring them here-"
Charlie: "-no. To the clocktower. Heaven’s embassy. Have them meet me there.”
Husk: “How the fuck? You don’t just order Overlords around-”
Charlie: “Tell them if they don’t come I’ll ram my burning pitchfork through their chests and twist their ribs open until enough of their guts spill out for me to grab and drag them there with.”
Husk: “They’ll call your bluff-”
Cherri Bomb: “She’s not bluffing.”
Husk: “Of COURSE she’s fucking bluffing-”
Cherri Bomb: “Warn the Overlords about how heaven took her girl but left her girl's eye and see what THEY think.”
Husk: “… clocktower. When?”
Charlie: “One hour or however long fighting my dad for the throne of hell takes.”
Husk: “Done.”
Angel Dust: “Whoa whoa, what’s with the sudden coup of the kingdom energy!? Fight ya dad? Couldn’t ya just ask his help-”
Charlie: “He’s been bound- he CAN’T attack heaven even if he wanted to. Neither can anyone else here while he’s king.”
Cherri Bomb: “That’s shit.”
Angel Dust: “Well then just ask to be hell king!”
Charlie: “And risk asking for the binding too?”
Angel Dust: “YOU didn’t make the deal-”
Charlie: “If he gives it up willingly and I accept, isn’t that a deal? That’s me, agreeing to what he had- But not if I make it mine. If I use force and rip it from him…”
Angel Dust: “By fighting? For REAL? He’s your fucking family!”
Charlie: “AND SHE ISN’T?”
Angel Dust: “So what- Ya gonna just surprise jump your dad and beat his ass!?”
Charlie: “Yes.”
Cherri Bomb: “No way it’s that easy. You’ll need help-”
Charlie: “I’ve got Vaggie’s spear. That’s enough.”
Angel Dust: “The hell it is!”
Charlie: “He wasn’t born of hell and I am. Even ignoring the Sins, it’s always wanted me more than him anyway.”
Cherri Bomb: “Wh- it’s wanted you? IT?”
Angel Dust: “For fucks sake sure fine hell’s alive who gives a shit-"
Angel Dust: "Think about what VAGGIE would fucking want! Cause it sure wouldn’t be fucking THIS!”
Charlie: “I can’t ask her what she wants until I have her back.”
Angel Dust: “Bitch if you get hurt or killed she’ll never fucking forgive herself!”
Charlie: “I don’t care.”
Angel Dust: “But- but heaven’s not gonna fight fair- ya try this an’ they’ll use her as hostage-”
Cherri Bomb: “It’s a point. What if they put a sword to her throat?”
Charlie: “I’ll rip theirs out first.”
Angel Dust: “… ya… ya won’t…”
Charlie: “Watch the hotel. Don’t move any furniture. She’ll need everything exactly where she remembers it, when she gets home.”
Cherri Bomb: “Got it.
Angel Dust: “Charlie… What’re you doin’?”
Charlie: “Raising hell.”
-HEAVEN- - the beach-
Lute: “Your plan has gone to shit.”
Lilith: (reading) “Has it.”
Lute: “You said this would muzzle her, we’d have her under control.”
Lilith: (flips page) “And isn’t she?”
Lute: “NO. Your whore bitch daughter is-"
Lute: "-hhHHHRK!”
Lilith: “Her.”
Lilith: “Name.”
Lute: “…cchHhARLiE…mORnINgsssTAR..”
Lilith: (releases lute)
Lilith: “Go on.”
Lute: “….she’s burning her way up here.”
Lilith: “Like mother, I suppose.”
Lute: “She has an army.”
Lilith: “Of course she does. We singers love an audience.”
Lute: “She’s shrieking blasphemy and waging war on Heaven!”
Lilith: (back to reading) “Isn’t that what you wanted.”
Lute: “What I wanted?”
Lilith: “Blood and death and pain and suffering....”
Lute: “Down in HELL, damn you! Where it BELONGS!”
Lilith: “And yet you brought my daughter’s partner up here half dead and fully blind.”
Lute: “As she deserves.”
Lilith: “Your brought hell past the pearly gates first, Lute. You invited it here. Heaven has bloodstains now because of you.”
Lute: “It was YOUR plan- YOU said to go get her! How else did you think we were bringing her!?”
Lilith: “Exactly like this.”
Lute: “…..”
Lute: “You… vile, two-faced snake… you wanted this. The defiance of Hell, war at Heaven’s door-”
Lilith: “I couldn’t care less.”
Lute: “LIES!”
Lilith: “We made a deal, little exorcist. Control. My daughter is acting exactly according to your own doing, the hell she is unleashing is your work as much as hers, yours to fight and triumph over while decimating hell to your heart’s content.”
Lute: "I-"
Lilith: “You can be a hero. You can show everyone you were right all along. A chance to empty hell. Adam’s dream come true.... And how proud he would be, if he were still here to see it.”
Lute: “…”
Lilith: "Unless… the soldiers of Heaven might not be up to that…?”
Lute: “...Your demon spawn won’t fall like her traitor father did. She will be- stop squirming, filth-! She’ll be thrown.”
Lilith: “A child often outshines their parents.”
Lute: “Or is burnt to ash. As their parents should have been.”
Lilith: “Too late for that.”
Lute: “We’ll see.”
Lilith: (flips page)
Lilith: “…Lute.”
Lute: “What, Lilith.”
Lilith: “Are you so afraid of losing that you need to drag a broken woman around as a shield?”
Lute: “A shield? No. An example.”
Lilith: “She already is that. As much as she can be, with so little left of her.”
Lute: “Pathetic, isn’t she? And an example for hell this time.”
Lilith: “They’ve seen worse than this each morning.”
Lute: “Oh but I’m far better than they are. I’m no mere sinner- I think I’ll show your daughter a little act of heavenly mercy.”
Lilith: “Is that what you call it when you kill.”
Lute: “This time death really is a mercy, don’t you think? I SAID STOP SQUIRMING!”
Lilith: “Your example doesn’t seem to agree.”
Lute: “Her mistake.”
Lilith: “Yours as well. Your own happily little mistake. Failing to kill her worked out well for you in the end, didn’t it?"
Lute: "I made it work."
Lilith: "You should thank her.”
Lute: “Thank the filth for what?”
Lilith: “For sparing your life. Proving the stronger fighter. Living long enough for this to happen. Loving and being loved enough to inspire a war between heaven and hell."
Lilith: (flips page) "Take your pick.”
Lute: “….I’ll see you after I’m done wiping out your people, Lilith, treacherous Queen of hell- and I’ll tell your daughter who’s idea this all was while I’m at it.”
Lilith: “Give her my love as well.”
Lute: “I’ll carve it on this filth’s chest for her to read while she wails over the corpse!”
Lilith: “If you like. Goodbye, little exorcist.”
Lute: “Bye bitch.”
Lilith: “…”
Lilith: “… and may they finally be as merciful to you, as you have been with them.”
Lilith: (smiles)
Lilith: (goes back to adding a new chapter to The Story of Hell)

pt 1 , pt 2 , pt 3 , pt 4 , pt 5 , pt 6
————————————————————————
after successfully sneaking out of the room and rejoining the others you all left the party. strolling on the sidewalk alongside chad and mindy you realized that sam, tara’s sister, had joined our group during some point in the night and her and tara were screaming at each other at this moment. the argument got cut short as a group of girls walked by sam, one throwing her drink on her along with a string of rude, degrading remarks regarding her theorized part in the woodsboro murders. time to go fucking home you thought. after what felt like forever you guys arrived to the apartment where you all decided to sleep. mindy and anika were sleeping on the couch together and sam was gonna room with their roommate quinn, leaving you and tara in her bedroom and chad and ethan in sam’s. as the two of you went into the room to change into comfier clothes you filled her in our the events of your nights.
“wait you’re telling me the whole time you were gone you were hooking up with ethan,” tara asked truly shocked.
“yes i’m just as surprised as you are,” you laughed pulling on the sleeveless white crop top to go with your pink pajama shorts.
“and i also have a favor to ask t.”
“oh god what is it,” she answered curiously.
“will you share a bed with chad so i can share one with ethan please please pleaseeee,” you begged playfully on your knees, “cmon i know you’ve liked chad for a while now now’s your chance.”
“oh yea like this is about me and not your desperate desire for dick.”
“hey the heart wants what it wants,” you shrugged.
“fine. go over to sams room and send chad over and please try not to be loud,” she gave in.
“thank you thank you thank youuuuu,” you exclaimed pulling your friend into a hug.
“yea yea get outta here sex demon,” she playfully shoved you off.
you left tara’s room and crossed the hall, letting yourself into sam’s room as you flung the door open to find the two boys sitting on the bed together.
“bye chad you’re sleeping in tara’s room,” you smiled waving goodbye.
“huh” he questioned.
ethan simply looked at you dumbfounded.
“you heard me the first time now love you bye,” you chirped as you held out the door for him.
“yea fuck you,” he chirped back leaving while flicking you off.
after he left you closed the door, locked it, and jumped into bed alongside ethan who was already bright red blushing.
“hey pretty boy.”
“h-hi.”
he was still nervous around you as if you didn’t cum all over his fingers and he didn’t cum all over your stomach.
“you don’t have to be so shaky you know, i think we’re past all that after tonight,” you said, “are you like this everytime you hookup with someone?”
“I’ve never hooked up with anyone before” he whispered almost to hide the fact.
“no way, you’re ripped and hot and your fingers work pretty good for someone who doesn’t get with other girls,” you inquired.
“tonight was my first type of anything, i’ve never had a,” he says hushed, “handjob before.”
“huh no wonder you came so much,” you spoke aloud.
“shhhh they might hear you,” he pleaded.
you climbed slightly on his chest, bringing your face to his now red with shyness, “you’re cute when you’re embarrassed, of course there’s nothing to be embarrassed about. i liked tonight.”
you kissed him passionately, slow while your lips molded together and this time his tongue parted your lips to enter into your mouth. you moaned into the kiss, for someone who’s never hooked up with anyone he was good. you felt ethan’s hands travel to the curve of your ass, massaging the skin as you could feel his growing member underneath your body. you traced his abs with your hand, running through the ridges and toying with his waistband. you felt his hips buck under your touch and the size of his dick was so enticing but you didn’t want to have sex with him now you wanted to show him other things.
you broke away from the kiss, looking at his big brown eyes licking your lips, “i wanna try something with you.”
you turned over so you were facing the wall and you could practically hear ethan’s confusion, not hearing his side of the bed shift.
“ethan c’mere right up behind me i’m sure you know how to cuddle someone,” you teased.
“oh yeah yeah i knew that,” he rambled while shifting closer to you in the center of the bed.
you felt him getting closer the closer until he stopped still an inch of two away. you backed up until your back was flushed against his own. you turned back and kissed him at the slightly awkward angle. as your lips were intertwined you brought his arm over your body and into your panties. you squirmed at the feeling of his fingers near you cunt once again as he shuddered from the feeling of touching your cunt again. breaking the kiss you looked down at the two hands massaging your mound,
“look ethan,” you whispered, “you gotta look.”
he obeyed your command as you felt his head next to yours as he assumed the same view as you. you guided his hand through your pussy, gliding through the folds as you grew wetter and around your clit as it grew swollen. wanting to leave him on his own you withdrew your hand and asked him, “do you wanna play with my pussy or should we just go to sleep.”
your dirty words really took a toll on his composure. he groaned in your ear hearing you words nodding against your skin.
“you have to say it ethan,” you turned breathless as he was still massaging your clit, “can’t hear you.”
“wanna-,” he whispered, “play with your pussy.”
“good-,” you began to speak but were interrupted by a gasp as his fingers entered your cunt suddenly.
he fingered you rapidly, his knuckles hitting the base of your cunt with his fingers curling to repeatedly press on your bundle of nerves. with every pound into your cunt you felt ethan’s length pressed against your ass, moved to the same rhythm as his fingers trying to relieve some pressure.
“slo-slow down, just a minute” you cooed into his ear.
“i can feel your dick rubbing against my ass,” you teased as you grinded on his strained length.
he grunted at the pressured contact finding him continuing the movements while you grinded on him.
“there you go, now you speed up, i speed up ok, at your pace.”
you felt him nod behind you, his head against your back as you helped him relieve pressure in his cock. you felt him beginning to work his fingers inside you again, slowly building up speed, so you picked up speed grinding harder and faster onto his dick. the two of you moaned and panted as the other pleasured you, fingers ramming into your cunt and your ass working his clothed cock in his boxers. you slightly lifted your leg allowing for ethan to hit a whole nother angle, slamming into your pussy at an unfathomed speed you froze and gasped as your climax quickly approached.
“oh my- ethan fuck-,” and just as the words left your mouth your orgasm completely ripped through you, shooting your release onto his fingers and inside your panties as you clenched around his fingers inside of you. you were breathless unable to let out a string of profanities only saying ethan’s name as you came shamelessly.
you turned over quickly kissing him passionately as you climbed onto his lap sitting right in top of his length, still sensitive from your orgasm you began to move forward and backwards on his crotch. his dick sat in between your fabric covered lips but it was enough for him to shake under your touch. he moaned as you ran over the length of his cock with your cunt, squirming above him as you were reaching another high of your own. you placed his hands on your hips, using them to guide your pace,
“use me pretty boy,” you urged, removing your hands from atop his own.
you felt his grip tighten on your hips and he began using his hands on your hips, moving you forwards and backwards. he grunted and bucked his hips up as your pussy worked his cock. seeing you on top of him, moaning as you aided him in his release and got yourself off was enough to make him cum right then and there. he started to move you faster on his lap, approaching his own orgasm. you could feel his dick twitching under you, sure to spill out a load very soon,
“i’m so close,” he grunted, now moving your hips fast over his cock, “i’m gonna-“
“wait,” you interrupted, “i-i’m almost there hold it, for me please.”
“i don’t- i can’t ,” he strained, eyes screwed shut.
you leaned down and pressed a quick, lingering kiss to his lips and moaned, “cmon pretty boy, for me.”
sitting back up he viciously nodded under you, his dick straining by the second as you worked for your own release. he whimpered under you, feeling the effects of withholding his orgasm. lucky for him you finally got closer and closer as your movements sloppied and you became a moaning mess.
“i’m- oh fuck,” you told him as you felt your second orgasm hit you like a truck.
“fuck me,” ethan nearly shouted, letting out a grunt as he came hard under you.
you squirmed on his lap as he convulsed beneath you, gripping your hips and holding you in place, continuing applied pressure to his cock while he orgasmed. he shook beneath you, eyes closed, forehead sweaty. after settling down he opened his eyes finally, still panting heavily after his intense orgasm. you climbed off his lap and lay beside him watching as he calmed down.
“you’re amazing,” he told you breathlessly, “just amazing.”
“and you’re still so pretty when you cum,” you smiled.
“shhh,” he shushed.
“oh please,” you scoffed as you hit him with a throw pillow.

Treat me like I’m yours (uninteresting Sequel)
Neteyam (20) x Omatikayan fem reader (19)
Tumblr media
Warnings:SMUT THE HOUSE, pinning, spit, p in v, oral, hair pulling, rough sex, choking, degrading kink, cursing.
🔞Minors, do not interact🔞
It had been about a month since you and Neteyam…trained together. He hadn’t talked to you since that night. He’d try his best to avoid you, and when he did see you he would walk the other way. It hurt your feelings to know that you were just another one of his conquests, nothing more than a mistake to him.
Was he embarrassed to be seen with you? Scared that people would find out that he fucked the most unpopular girl in the clan? That he fucked a nobody? Manipulated you into thinking that you two would be something more?
“Y/n? Y/N!, can you snap out of your thoughts for 2 fucking seconds, and tell me which battle band looks better?” Ralu shouted, holding two bands in-front of you, waiting for you to choose.
“Ralu, I do not care. It’s MY party! Who are you trying to impress?” You asked, sitting up on your cot. Your 19th birthday celebration was tomorrow, and everyone seemed to be more excited than you were for it. Ralu rolled his eyes, and smirked before speaking.
“Bro, all the girls love it when I wear this. I need to know which color is best, don’t be annoying right now.” He laughed, raising his eyebrows at you. You sighed, bringing your cheek to the palm of your hand.
“The green one.” You pointed before standing to your feet. He smiled, looking down at the brown battle band, and then back at you.
“You’re right, the women will be going crazy over me tonight!” He nodded, trying the band on.
“I’m pretty sure they’ll go crazy no matter what you have on.” You said sarcastically, walking towards the entrance. Ralu chuckled as he watched you walk towards the hut door. He sighed, hesitating to speak.
“H-hey! Umm…Try to have a good time tonight. I know you don’t really like celebrations but this one is about you. Plus, you know father wants you to find a mate soon. It’s about that time, y/n.” Ralu explained, still gawking over his gorgeous body.
Your ears perked, and your eyes widened. Ralu was right, it was time for you to find a mate, but no man was interested in you, and the one that you thought could have been, was literally ignoring you.
“Y-yeah, I know. I’ll try to have fun tonight.” You lightly smile before continuing to walk towards the door.
“Hey where are you going anyway?” Ralu asked, finally looking back at you with his hands on his hips.
“I’m going to see Neytiri for my fitting, remember?” You turned around, smirking at him. His eyes widen in realization.
“Rightttt, right! Tell Neteyam I said to come by.” He nodded, turning back around to admire his band. Your heart dropped to your stomach at his name. You let out a nervous chuckle before nodding and heading out.
You made it to neytiri’s family hut. You hesitated to walk in, knowing that it’s a good chance that Neteyam could be in there. You couldn’t take that embarrassment, not on your birthday. You take a deep breath before pulling the tent cover back, and to your surprise, neteyam was nowhere to be found.
“Happy birthday, my love.” Neytiri smiled, walking towards you for a hug. You hugged her back, snuggling into her warm embrace.
“How is your day going?” She asked, rubbing your back as she swayed you side to side. You smiled, looking at her.
“It has been fine.” You confess. Neytiri finally lets you go, walking you over to the pieces she’s made for you.
“Just fine?” She asked, raising her eyebrow as she held the pieces towards your body. You Sigh, looking down to the ground.
“I’m just, not a party person. I do not like the attention. No one pays me any attention any other day, but because it’s my birthday, people all of the sudden know I exsist?” You explain, untying your cloths, throwing them to the side.
“I know you do not like the huge celebrations, but try to enjoy yourself, y/n. 19 is a great age to be, you know.” She smiles, tying your new top around your breasts.
“I know, I know. It just seems all fake to me.” You confess.
“Just give it a chance, y/n. You never know, you might meet a nice boy tonight. Especially with how beautiful you look.” She smiles before spinning you around towards her.
She stepped back, admiring how gorgeous you looked. The top was alittle revealing, but beautiful nonetheless. It was woven with the luminescent moss, making the top glow a bright blue. There were crystals and diamonds embroidered in the loincloth. It was short and sexy, allowing your gorgeous long legs to steal the show.
“I don’t know y/n, you might find a mate tonight. You look absolutely stunning.” She nodded, grinning at you.
“Wow…” you and neytiris head snap towards the hut entrance, revealing a speechless neteyam. He eyed you up and down, admiring your body and the beautiful cloths wrapped around it. Your eyes meet his for a moment until you look down to the ground as you desperately tried to hide your flushed cheeks. Neytiri’s eyes shift between you and Neteyam, with an all knowing smile plastered across her face.
“I-I, umm, yo-“ he stopped to chuckle at himself for being a nervous reck around you.
“You look….amazing, y/n.” He nodded proudly with a light smile. You almost gave in until you remembered how he’s been treating you lately.
“Mhmm” you hummed, not even looking at him. His heart immediately sank at your coldness towards him. He pursed his lips in anger, nodding slowly. Neytiri noticed the tension, and turned to you.
“How about I leave you two alone for a moment, ok? I’ll be back y/n.” She smiled, looking at both you and Neteyam again before walking out. Neteyam angrily slammed the door behind his mother before walking towards you.
“What is this attitude?” He asked concerned, but still visibly frustrated. You snap your head at him , almost astonished that he was acting completely oblivious to the way he has treated you lately.
“Are you serious right now?” You started, barely above a whisper. Neteyam stood straight up with his arms crossed, waiting for you to continue.
“You haven’t talked to me since that night. You have been IGNORING ME SINCE THAT NIGHT! And you think you can come in here, tell me I’m beautiful, and I’m just supposed to fall at your feet?” You shouted, gesturing angrily before walking closer to him.
“Not a fucking chance…” you whisper, poking him in his broad chest. He sighs throwing his head back before making eye contact with you.
“Y/n…you know we can’t be together. I had a moment of weakness that night, and we shouldn’t have done that. I can’t be with my best friends baby sister. Please, don’t make this hard for me.“ he explained, searching for understanding in your eyes. Your eyes widened as you backed up from him. Tears threatening to fall as you looked him up and down.
“Y/n i-“ you held your hand up to cut him off.
“No, no..” you shake your head side to side.
“I see. You’re just like everyone else. You got what you wanted out of me, and now we’re done here, right?” You ask, harshly wiping your tears away.
“You made me thinking that we would be something. That I finally found someone who understood me.” You stated, walking towards him again.
“It’s funny, you claim that you can’t be with me, but you initiated everything! You just wanted to be my first, so you could run around and tell your friends how I was for you, right?” You ask, looking up at him with a clenched jaw. He looked around frantically before looking back at you.
“Don’t speak like that.” He muttered through gritted teeth, glaring at you through his eyebrows.
“Was it not good enough for you? Is that what it is? Was I not as good as Si’rah?” You chuckle, trying to get a reaction out of him.
“Y/n, I am warning you. Stop talking now.” He said sternly, face contorting in anger.
“I’m sorry I’m not a whore like her, it was my first time. you knew that though, that’s why you wanted me right? You’re fucking sick.” You said, standing on your tippy toes, inches away from his lips.
“Enough!” He shouted, getting closer to you.
“Ohhh look at innocent little y/n! Let me see how far I can go with her! How fucking desperate do you have to be to FUCK your best-friends baby sist-“ you were cut off by neteyams hand wrapping around your neck, backing you into the wall.
“I told you not to speak like that.” He spoke, glaring at you.
“Fuck you.” You hissed, wiggling to get out of his grasp. He chuckled, bending down to your ear, grazing it with his fangs.
“You already did that. Don’t worry it was good for me, y/n, and I’d be happy to do it again. Looks like you kinda need it, you’re too uptight.” He whispered, backing up to reveal a devilish grin.
“I hate you.” You spat, tears forming in your eyes again.
“I hate you, too.” He whispered before crashing his lips into yours. You couldn’t help but melt under his touch, matching his rhythmic tone. He snaked his arms around your thighs, signaling for you to jump, as you wrapped your legs around his long torso. You two were cut off when you heard neytiri’s voice outside of the hut.
“Shit!” Neteyam whispered, placing you back down on the ground quickly. You adjust yourself, wiping your mouth quickly and so does Neteyam. He tried desperately to hide his huge bulge with his hands, before his mom walked in.
“Did you two talk it out?” Neytiri asked, walking back into the hut carrying a basket of fruits. You two looked at each other, and back to neytiri.
“Yup” you two say in unison with fake smiles. Neytiri sighed with relief, pulling the fruits out of the basket.
“Hey, ummm. My brother wanted to see you. He said to stop by.” You say, trying your best not to make eye contact with him.
“Yeah! Ok umm- i, I’ll go then.” he nodded at you and his mother before walking out, still hiding his boner with his hands.
“Hey you better get home, and get ready! You have 2 hours until the party starts.” Neytiri stated, still tending to the fruits. You nodded, thanking her for the cloths before leaving the hut.
It was 30 minutes until your party. Your mother did your hair different, taking your braids out and letting your hair be free and wavy. You had on your best jewelry, shining with every sudden move. You looked stunning, but you felt horrible.
You wanted Neteyam by your side, but he made it clear that it was just sex for him. Why would you even think that he would genuinely want you?
“My baby sister! Looking gorgeous as usual!” Ralu shouted, walking into your hut. He gripped your shoulders from behind, turning you towards him.
“Everyone is waiting for you, you ready?” He asked with a heart warming smile. You smiled at him sarcastically grabbing his hand.
“Let’s get this over with, pleaseeee!” you whine, pouting up at him. He chuckled, before letting your hand go, wrapping his arm around your shoulders, walking you towards the hut entrance.
“Just relaaaxxx, you’ll be fine, y/n” he smiled pulling you in closer.
You two finally made it to the common area. Everything was decorated so nicely, and the feast was huge. You could barely hear yourself think when everyone was shouting happy birthday to you. People who’ve walked right pass you on a regular day. All you could do was fake smile, and say thank you.
“Look at you, all grown up!” Jake smiled, walking towards you for a hug. He rubbed your back before pulling away to look at you.
“Please, sit!” He motioned towards his throne, decorated in crystals and lights. Your eyes lit up, before you looked back up at him.
“Thank you, sir!” You smiled, hugging him tightly again. He chuckled, hugging you back. He walked you to the seat, sitting you down in it.
You watched everyone having fun. Singing, dancing and eating. you were happy with how everything looked, but you couldn’t deny the overwhelming sadness when you couldn’t find Neteyam in the crowd. You were snapped back into reality by Nas’ir, one of the best young hunters in the clan.
“Hi, y/n. You look very pretty tonight.” He smiled, kneeling infront of you, as he caressed your thigh. Your body felt hot, you have never received this kind of make attention before. Your eyes widened as you looked down at his strong hand, gently massaging your thigh.
“I-Is this ok?” Nas’ir asked, searching for your consent. You nod frantically, smiling ear to ear.
You completely forgot about Neteyam in that moment. He watched from the background, getting angrier by the second from the way Nas’ir was touching you, and the way that you seemed to like it. He was sick to his stomach, watching you gawk over another man. There was even a point where you were sitting on his lap, with your legs across his fathers throne. Everyone was happy that you found a male that night, but Neteyam was utterly furious.
How could you do this to him? Letting that man caress your thigh, and whisper in your ear on HIS FATHERS THRONE???
“Hi stranger…” neteyam was immediately ripped out of his thought by Si’rahs voice. A voice that was once music to his ears, was now painfully annoying to him. He looked at her briefly and then back at you as you laughed with Nas’ir.
“Hi Si’rah.” He said annoyed. She walked up to him, feeling on his abs, and broad arms.
“What do you say we get out of here, huh?” She asked seductively grabbing his face to look towards her. He rolled his eyes, ripping her hands off of him.
“Do you ever take a break? From being a complete fucking slut.” He asked, shaking his head before walking away. Leaving her with a completely shocked look on her face. She crossed her arms, shifting her weight to one hip.
“You liked this slut last night!” She spat, tilting her head with a slight grin. Neteyam stopped in his tracks, walking back towards her. He grabbed her arm tightly, glaring at her.
“Don’t flatter yourself, I was thinking of someone else.” He snarled, looking at her with disgust before walking away.
To your surprise, you were actually having a good time. Everyone was happy, and you finally found a nice boy. Neteyam was far from your mind.
“Do you want to hang out tomorrow? We can go flying on our Ikrans in the morning.” Nas’ir asked, looking deep into your eyes. He grabbed your hand, interlocking your fingers together.
“Ofcourse, I would be happy to!” You smiled, looking into his eyes, and then trailing down to his lips.
“Can I kiss you, y/n?” He asked, drawing circles into your back, as he looked you up and down. You felt him shift his hips underneath you, creating a pool between your legs. You bit your lip, before nodding quickly. He smiled leaning into you slowly.
“Y/n! A word?” Neteyam ruined the moment with his angry demeanor. You sighed loudly before looking up at Neteyam, towering over you and Na’sir.
“What?” You asked annoyed, leaning back into Nas’ir. Neteyam clenched his jaw, trying not to cause a scene infront of everyone.
“We need to talk. Get up.” He gestured for you to get up, glaring at you. You rolled your eyes, turning back to Nasir.
“Talk to me tomorrow, I’m busy right now.” You say, staring deeply into Nas’irs eyes, going in for that kiss that was ripped away seconds ago. Before your lips could touch, you were yanked out of Nasir’s lap, being dragged towards the forest.
“LET ME GOOO!” You whined as Neteyam pulled you towards the middle of the forest. He finally let you go, standing infront of you with nothing but anger in his eyes. He paced back and forth, trying to calm down.
“What the fuck were you doing with him? I mean he was all over you!” He shouted, gesturing angrily.
“What’s it to you Mr. I can’t date my best friends baby sister???” You mocked, as you watched him pace back and forth.
“Do you like him? You were sitting on his lap like you liked him! Holding his hand like you LIKED him!” He asked frantically, almost hyperventilating.
“Are you jealous, neteyam?” You ask sarcastically, grinning sadistically. He stopped pacing, running his hands through his braids roughly.
“FUCK, YES! I AM JEALOUS!” He finally confessed, breathing hard as he glared at you.
You were shocked by his sudden outburst, backing away from him slowly.
“you are all I’ve been able to think about since that night, and it is driving me crazy. But I can’t have you, and it’s killing me to see you with another man.” He explained, almost in tears.
“It is your fault! I wanted to be with you, and you just threw me away!” You started, looking him in the eyes.
“You don’t know what you want Neteyam, and that’s completely fine. But you won’t lead me on any longer. Nas’ir actually likes me, and you’re not going to ruin this for me. I WONT LET YOU!” You shouted, before turning around to walk away from him. He became so frustrated with you, growling loudly before pulling you back to him by your arm.
“Nas’ir can’t do what I do for you!” He growled, leaning down to your face, nose to nose. You look him up and down, titling your head.
“And what do you do for me?” You asked with furrowed eyebrows, looking into his angry eyes. That was enough to send him over the edge. He picked you up, pinning you to a tree.
“Well for starters” he started, turning you around, holding you to the tree by your back.
“I was your first!” He grunted, ripping your loincloth off, causing you to yelp in pain from the force.
“Secondly” he started again, bending down to your ass, spreading your cheeks open to reveal your dripping cunt.
“I gave you your first orgasm! Remember that?” He shouted before connecting his tongue with your clit, sucking it harshly. Your eyes widened as you held onto the tree to keep you up.
“You are mine, y/n!” He hummed into your cunt, making your knees buckle slightly before you regained your balance. You bit your lip as he flicked your clit with his tongue.
“Treat me like I’m yours then.” You moaned, holding the tree tightly. He stopped, standing back up. He pulled your hair, making you meet his eyes from behind.
“Open your mouth.” He commanded, untying his loincloth in the process. You obliged, and he spit slowly, creating a line from his mouth to yours. You happily swallowed, licking your lips after you were done.
“I’m gonna treat you like your mines alright. You won’t ever wanna leave.” He whispered, still looking into your upside down eyes. He finally got his loincloth off. He gripped his cock, tapping the tip on your ass.
“Are you gonna be a good little slut tonight?” He asked, kissing your forehead. You nodded with a drunken smile, waiting for him to have his way with you. He slid his cock in between your folds, making you let out a soft moan at the sudden friction. He finally slid into you slowly, letting your hair go. You instantly hugged the tree, shutting your eyes tightly at the new found fullness.
Neteyam leaned onto you, crushing you between the tree and his broad chest as he started thrusting into you slowly. You whimpered softy , biting your lip to try and suppress your moans. Neteyam leaned down to your ear, kissing it before speaking.
“No, I want you to get loud for me. Let everyone know that you belong to me.” He whispered, rubbing his head in the crook of you neck, trying to leave his scent.
“Ughhh fuck, you feel so good!” You whine, clinging to the tree for dear life. He grabbed your arms, leaning them against the tree above your head. He held them there as he watched you struggle to keep your balance.
“Remember when you said that you wouldn’t fall at my feet anymore?” He whispered, nibbling on your neck as he sped up the pace. You felt your legs giving out, and before you knew it, you were on the ground.
“Look at you now. At my fucking feet!” He growled, pulling you onto your knees by your hair. He lined his cock up to your mouth before plunging it down your throat. Your eyes rolled back as you felt your throat contract to fit his huge cock. You gaged loudly, trying to push him out of your mouth.
“No, you talk too fucking much! This should shut you up!” He grunted, thrusting into your mouth hard and deep. Tears started to roll down your cheeks. You grabbed either sides of his waist for leverage, as he showed you no mercy. Spit starting dripping out of your mouth down your chest. You felt your consciousness slipping away from the lack of air. Before you knew it, he pulled out of you mouth, letting you catch you breath.
“Don’t pass out on me, baby!” He grunted, slapping the tip onto your tongue. He looked down at your puffy face, and red teary eyes. He grabbed your head, massaging it.
“You’re ok baby, You’re ok.” He said before getting on his knees behind you, pulling your pelvis up, and pushing your head into the moss underneath you. He slowly slid into you again, making you cry out.
“No baby, you’ve gotta take it. I can’t let you get away with being such a bad girl today.” He groaned, thrusting into you deeply. He hit your spot with every stroke, sending overwhelming waves of pleasure throughout your body.
“Neteyam, please!” You beg, trying to crawl away from him, but his grip on your hips was too tight. He grabbed your arms, pinning them behind your back as he rolled his hips into you, massaging your sweetspot with his tip. Your mouth flew opened as your head went limp, falling back into the ground.
“I know, I know. Just fucking take it.” He moaned, rubbing your back, as he held your wrists with his other hand.
“Mmmmm i can’t do it, please!” You screamed, feeling that familiar knot in your stomach.
“You can and you will! You had the nerve to talk to Nas’ir? I can’t let you get away with that, y/n!” He grunted, throwing his head back, feeling his high approach him slowly.
“I’m sorry! I’m sorry! I’m sorry! It won’t happen again, neteyam!” You shouted. His ears perked up at your sudden submission.
“Oh! I’ve gotta see this.” He grunted pulling out of you. He laid back pulling your limp body on top of him. He slid his cock into you once more, making your face ball up in pleasure.
“Sit up! I wanna see you apologize.” He moaned, holding onto your waist tightly to keep you up. You held onto his broad shoulders for leverage, as he started thrusting up into you.
“Apologize.” He commanded, rolling his hips into you slowly. Your mouth flew opened, as you looked deep into his eyes.
“I’ll stop if you don’t say sorry.” He smirked, tilting his head at you. He rolled his hips into you faster, hitting your sweetspot everytime.
“I’m so sorry neteyam, it won’t happen again!” You whine, throwing your head back, rolling your hips with his, as you chased your orgasm.
“No! look at me and say it!” He grabbed the back of your head, pulling your forehead to his. He started thrusting into you fast and hard again. Your face contorted with pleasure as your eyes rolled back.
“SAY IT!” he growled, feeling his high approaching again.
“IM FUCKING SORRY! IT WONT HAPPEN AGAIN, I PROMISE YOU!” You screamed as you felt your orgasm. Your body shook violently, as you clenched around him.
He threw his head back in relief, finally feeling his high approach him. He shot his load straight up into you, letting out the loudest moan.
“Fuck yes!” He shouted as his eyes rolled back. He thrusted his seed all the way into you, making sure you caught every drop. You fell into his chest, panting loudly. He caressed your back, as he tried to catch his breath.
“Are you going to leave me again, neteyam?” You asked breathlessly, still laying on his shoulder.
“No, I’ve learned my lesson, tonight. I’ll never leave you again. I promise.” He confessed, hugging you tightly. You hugged him back before speaking.
“I’ve learned mine too.”
Bro, this long ass story🙄. Like I said, I was procrastinating the entire day, but I made the deadline😏 and that’s all that matters! As always, I love y’all🫶🏽❤️

Camp Wiegman-Part 45

———————————————————————
Thursday, February 4th; 9:30 AM - Parking.
Lucy revved her car up to the entrance where my mother was waiting for us. She was talking to the elderly lady at the reception, someone I’ve always liked. One of the few here, actually.
"Move to the back."
"What? Why?"
"You’re not seriously going to let your mother sit in the back, are you?"
The back door opened at the same time. Before I had a chance to react, my mother climbed onto the seat and closed the door.
"This is quite a car you have!"
"Thanks," she smiled proudly. "But you don’t have to sit in the back. Ona will give you her seat."
"Oh no! I’m perfectly fine here. And for the love of God, stop being so formal with me! It makes me feel ten years older."
I held back a laugh as I saw Lucy's expression. She definitely wasn’t expecting that response, unlike me. My mother has always been very friendly with my friends, even when we’re not on the best terms. Lucy gave up the battle and resumed driving through the streets of Manchester. On the way, she suggested we take a stroll down a pedestrian street, which seemed to delight my mother. I was pleased as well since I hadn’t had a chance to visit it yet.
"So... How long have you been doing this job?" my mother asked.
"This is my fourth year," Lucy replied. "I was trained for a year. I became independent quickly."
"Is this what you’ve always wanted to do?"
"Oh no," she chuckled. "It’s just a transitional job. My best friend and I are working on a project. We plan to start our own business."
The news caught me off guard, and I had a hard time hiding my surprise. She had never mentioned this to me before. Starting a business is a big deal. It takes a lot of motivation, but I’m not worried about Lucy in that regard.
"In what field?" my mother continued.
"Sports," she smiled. "We’re planning to open a gym with training programs and classes," Lucy explained. "Everything’s starting to come together... If all goes well, this will be my last year at Camp Wiegman."
"What!? Seriously?" I exclaimed, unable to hold back.
Silence fell after my unexpected reaction. It was already a lot to learn about her project, but finding out that this would be her last year? It was a complete shock. Lucy glanced at me briefly with a small smile.
"Sorry for breaking the news this way. We were struggling with the bank, but I just found out a few days ago that our funds to start the business have been released. So, it’s recent news."
"Hum..."
"Oh, don’t look so down. You know what you need to do now."
"What do you mean?"
"Well, you have no choice but to get your diploma this year. I want us to leave this school together."
"Of course... Things aren’t looking too good right now, though," I muttered.
"Defeatist. Just because you started this second semester off poorly doesn’t mean you won’t get your diploma. I’m going to make you work, just watch. We’ll even start tonight," she announced, making me groan.
"Seriously?" I complained. "Oh crap, speaking of studying! I had exams today and tomorrow!" I realized. "What am I going to do!? Do you think they’ll let me make them up?"
"Of course," she rolled her eyes. "That’s good news. We can study the subjects together this weekend."
What did she just say? Judging by the way she stiffened, she seemed to realize her big mistake. There’s no way we’re spending weekends together. She glanced at me out of the corner of her eye, making me uncomfortable. I noticed her hands tightening on the steering wheel as my mother questioned us.
"This weekend?"
"Wiegman requires me to stay at school when Ona is there," Lucy replied instinctively.
I released the breath I had been holding until then. I had forgotten that Lucy knew how to get out of awkward situations. The best part is, she does it without lying. I immediately backed her up by continuing:
"Bronze knows I struggle with some subjects, so she sometimes keeps me at school to work on my courses together," I said, fully aware that Lucy keeps me without official permission.
"Is that why you don’t come home as often?" my mother asked. "Joan keeps asking about you."
Joan... Oh my God, I’ve completely forgotten about him these past few days! I was so obsessed with my problems that I didn’t even think about my little brother. I felt a wave of regret. I sighed, running my hand through my hair.
"I’ll call him as soon as I can... How is he?"
"He’s fine."
"And the truth?"
I saw surprise in her eyes through the rearview mirror. As if a simple "he’s fine" would satisfy me. I hadn’t checked in on my brother for a month. The least I could do was ask now. Especially since he’s probably been feeling down, not having seen me for a while.
"He’s been having a lot of tantrums since you’ve been gone, and he sleeps in your bed a lot... he misses you terribly. You should come back to Barcelona sometime. This weekend, for example. We’re going away for the weekend with Marcus. You’ll have the house to yourself."
"When exactly are you leaving...?"
"You won’t see me if that’s your question. We’re leaving Friday afternoon and returning Sunday evening."
A small smile crept onto my lips. I discreetly glanced at Lucy, who had the same reaction as me. She must know what I’m thinking. I haven’t set foot in Barcelona for a month since she forbade me because of Feli. It’s about time I went back, and if she can come with me, that would be just perfect. It’s not an opportunity that will come up often.
"It’s not up to me to decide that kind of thing," I simply replied. "As I just told you, Bronze has the final say on my outings. We’ll have to discuss it first."
"We’ll talk about it when we get back," Lucy confirmed. "For now, wipe that silly smile off your face. I haven’t said yes yet. I just told you that you need to study."
"Oh come on! Think about my brother," I said, pulling an adorable pout.
"Playing the puppy dog, really Ona? You should know that’s not going to make me soften up."
I groaned, crossing my arms. She hasn’t said yes, but she hasn’t said no either. So, I still have hope. If it was a no, she would have already said so. Or maybe she’s uncomfortable with my mother’s presence and doesn’t dare say it. That’s one possibility. I can tell she’s not as comfortable as usual.
"Stop it," she growled.
"Stop what? I’m not doing anything."
"Yes, you are. You’re looking at me. It’s distracting me."
I hadn’t even realized it. To annoy her, I kept doing it while leaning against the car door. She furrowed her brow but didn’t take her eyes off the road. I smiled at the sight. Lucy is such a beautiful young woman. I’m lucky to have her. We finally arrived at a red light near downtown, where she took the opportunity to push down on my knee that I had lifted up.
- "Sorry," I mumbled, feeling sheepish.
She sighed softly, engaging the handbrake and shifting into neutral. The traffic lights here always take a while. I’m starting to know my way around this city, having come here so often. She turned slightly to look at me.
- "Just because you're banged up doesn’t mean you’re getting special treatment."
- "Oh, I know that, don’t worry about it, Commander!"
She rolled her eyes dramatically. It's crazy how much I enjoy provoking her. She seems to hate that nickname even more than before. Good to know if I want to tease her. I suppressed my smile at the thought, not wanting to provoke her further.
- "Sorry, I can’t help it."
- "Hmm."
She settled back into her seat as it was time to drive again. I did the same, glancing into the rearview mirror. Bad idea, as I caught my mom’s eyes staring at me with a strange expression. I pretended not to notice and focused on the suddenly heavy traffic.
- "Where exactly are we going?" I asked.
- "To the pedestrian zone downtown. It’s nice to see. There are also some good restaurants if you’re interested."
- "We trust you completely," my mom replied.
Lucy managed to get us out of the traffic jams thanks to her knowledge of the side streets. I should memorize them one day if I plan to live here. Then again, with my sense of direction, I’d probably still get lost. Lucy finally parked in a spot that wasn’t too crowded or too far from where we were headed. I took a deep breath before getting out. Here goes my first mother-daughter moment in ages.
Thursday, February 4th; 12:30 PM - Restaurant.
This morning was full of surprises. I’m still struggling to process it all. Just yesterday, I was on bad terms with both my mom and Lucy, and now, here I am, sitting with them around a table. I expected the morning to be a disaster, but against all odds, it went smoothly. No one brought up any sensitive topics, which was for the best. Even so, it was exhausting. I could have collapsed on the table when we arrived, but I restrained myself to avoid Lucy’s reprimands. For some reason, she kept putting me in my place in front of my mom. I guess she just wanted to assert her role, but her reactions were often over the top.
In any case, I’m glad it’s all over. My mom insisted on going shopping. The street was lined with stores, so she wanted to enter every one that had something she liked in the windows. Let’s just say I’ve never shopped this much in one morning, let alone with my mom. Lucy was probably right in saying that she was trying to rebuild our relationship. She bought me a ton of clothes. I definitely have enough to restock my school wardrobe. I started to enjoy it once Lucy joined forces with my mom. She was lucky to have Lucy help me survive the onslaught. Lucy also gave me her opinions whenever my mom wasn’t looking. The fittings were difficult with my injuries. My abdominal pain was so intense that Lucy had to help me more than once. Luckily, my mom was too busy finding me new outfits to notice.
- "Have you decided what to order?"
We all looked at each other before nodding to the waiter. I settled on a Caesar salad, not feeling very hungry today. Lucy seemed to be on the same page since she ordered the same thing. My mom chose salmon. The waiter jotted down our orders and left.
- "Are you sure you girls don’t want anything else?"
- "I’m not very hungry."
- "That’s surprising, you’re usually always hungry," Lucy teased.
- "Hey! That’s not true!"
- "It is. You’re a bottomless pit," she said, raising an eyebrow.
I stuck my tongue out at her and puffed out my cheeks. She pinched them playfully. Damn, she’s way too adorable.
- "I’m surprised to see Ona so open with you," my mom commented.
- "It wasn’t easy," Lucy replied honestly with a smile. "It started with floor scrubbing and arguments—"
- "Don’t exaggerate," I interrupted. "You just made me  clean a bathroom and some toilets," I retorted.
- "Oh no, scrubbing is the right word," she insisted with a mischievous smile. "I’ve never seen anyone do it so well. Anyone else would have done a sloppy job."
Is she joking? I remember that day like it was yesterday! It was my second day, and she pushed me to the limit by making me clean a locker room after my classes. I didn’t think my work was perfect, but Lucy had stopped me. I thought it was because it was time to eat, but it looks like I was wrong.
- "Don’t make that face. It was a good lesson for you back then. You taught me that you could be very meticulous."
- "You were testing me?" I asked, offended.
- "It was more of an assessment. Anyway," she continued before I could respond, "all Ona needed was a bit of attention, and I gave it to her. It was my job as a supervisor, but I quickly grew attached to her and her story. That’s what built her trust in me."
- "She confided in you?" my mom asked.
- "Yes, mom," I answered myself. "I confided in her."
- "I wanted her to see a therapist for a long time, but if I had known all she needed was a lovely young instructor, I would have changed my approach," my mom joked.
Lucy laughed at her comment, while I found myself embarrassed. A strange feeling washed over me. She’d never been so complimentary about my friends before. And we’d never managed to have such a pleasant time together. If it happened before, I don’t remember. It felt like Lucy’s presence changed everything, and that made me happy.
- "To be honest, I also considered that idea for a while," Lucy admitted once she calmed down. "I mean, about the therapist," she clarified. "But knowing Ona, I knew she would resist, so I didn’t even bother suggesting it."
- "Good thing you didn’t!" I replied. "I’m not sick; I don’t need to see a doctor."
- "No one said you were sick," she rolled her eyes. "It’s just that seeing a therapist might have helped. I sensed you were in a dark place more than once, and it could have done you some good, but whatever."
- "Hmm," I sulked slightly. "Just so you know, I’d much rather confide in you or Mapi than in some stranger in a lab coat."
- "Oh my," Lucy mocked, quickly joined by my mom.
I didn’t understand why they were laughing. Maybe my reaction was exaggerated, but that’s how I feel. There’s no way I’m talking about my problems with a stranger, even though I’ve gotten better about it. Back when I first came back, the idea was unthinkable. I shut down just at the thought of outside help. I barely left my room, so there was no way I was going to venture outside the house. My mom eventually gave up, realizing I wouldn’t change my mind on the matter. I turned to Lucy, who gave me a sad smile. Her sorrowful eyes affected me deeply. I didn’t mean to make her sad, but I’m so relieved that someone finally knows my secret. A weight has been lifted off my shoulders, but it’s clear it has been placed on hers instead. I hope she’ll be able to process it quickly. Thankfully, the server arrived with our meals, ending our discussion. That concluded the conversation as we wished each other a good meal and began eating. My mom restarted the conversation after clearing her throat.
- "So… this might not be the right time to bring this up, but… I’m curious why you chose management as a class option. I imagine Lucy had something to do with that choice."
- "That’s a slippery slope, mom," I warned. "The last time we brought this up was at Christmas, and it didn’t end well."
- "You didn’t tell me about that," Lucy whispered, making sure only I could hear.
I glanced at her out of the corner of my eye, remembering that I hadn’t mentioned it to her. Mapi wanted me to call her that very night, but I didn’t want to. It was a holiday, and there was no way I was going to bother her with my problems. I hadn’t brought it up again since.
- "I’m not going to judge your choices anymore, Ona," my mom continued. "It was just a simple question because it’s surprising. You were never very fond of math, as far as I remember."
"I didn’t like science either," I retorted. "But if you really want to know, it was a purely strategic choice. Management is always useful. Especially when you want to become independent quickly. »
I feel Lucy’s hand tighten on my thigh. She’s probably afraid I might lose control. She’s probably right, as I tend to snap when it comes to my mother. Her touch instantly calms me and even reassures me. I know I’m not alone.
“You want to go into the art field, don’t you?” she asks me.
“If I may,” Lucy interjects, “I’m the one who encouraged her in that direction. It might be a risky choice, but…”
She pauses for a moment to look at me before continuing with a smile on her lips.
“I would’ve preferred to tell her first, but you’re her mother, so you have the right to know as well… I’ve got a good chance of finding her some support to get started in that field.”
Her announcement makes me choke. I’m not sure I heard her correctly. Lucy helps me as I cough, patting my back and handing me a glass of water. I down it in one gulp to clear my throat, while she discreetly rests her hand back on my thigh.
“I didn’t think it would have such an effect on you,” she laughs.
“What do you mean by ‘support’?”
“I have a friend who knows people in the field. I gave him one of your sketchbooks.”
“You did what?!” I exclaim.
“Oh, listen to me before fixating on that detail,” she scolds. “He passed it on to an expert who thinks you’re very promising! You could thank me instead of complaining.”
“Where did you find it?”
“Maybe in your closet full of sketchbooks?”
She went through my closet… in my room? When? Did she see all the drawings I’ve done in recent weeks? Damn. I blush just thinking about it. I lower my head to avoid my mother noticing. Most of the sketches are of her, or places and landscapes we’ve seen together, from every possible angle. Deep down, I was desperate and just wanted to reconnect with her. My art is always better when my feelings are involved.
“I took the least personal one,” she tells me, tightening her grip on my thigh.
“You saw everything…” I breathe out as if it’s obvious.
I can’t believe it. I would’ve preferred if she had asked me before doing something like that. It’s way too personal. Yet, I can’t even be mad at her.
“What would happen if the professional took an interest in Ona?” my mother finally asks.
“I’m not exactly sure. My friend mentioned mentoring her or possibly helping her get into an art school to refine her skills. The man was very interested and plans to show it to his boss. There’s a good chance they might take her under their wing. Anyway, the most important thing is that she gets a foot in the door so she can start and get noticed.”
I’m still struggling to believe it. If she did all that, it’s to give me a golden opportunity for my future. I don’t know who her friend is, but I’ll have to thank him properly. My mother seems completely understanding of what Lucy is saying. It’s very surprising. I didn’t think she’d take it so well when she’s always preferred me to follow in her footsteps.
“I guess if it works out, she’ll stay here?”
“It’s up to her to decide…”
“I’m likely to stay here in almost any case, Mom. I like it here, and my new friends all have plans to settle down here. It’ll be my fresh start. It’s what you wanted, right?”
I’ve never been so clear about what I want for my future as I am today. The others talk about it all the time. I already know Alexia will do anything to stay here to be with Jenni. She’s subtly trying to convince her sister to stay too. As for Leah and Alessia, they already live here. Just like Lotte, who lives with her father at the school, along with Patri and Claudia. And then, of course, there’s Lucy. She’s my main motivation for wanting to stay. I’m not sure I want to live with her right away, for fear that things might move too quickly, but I’ll find a way to stay here regardless.
“I guess you’ve already made up your mind…”
“I never said that,” I sigh. “I’m just thinking about it, that’s all. You’re the one who sent me here. I just created the life I like.”
“It’s obvious,” she smiles sadly. “I haven’t seen you this happy in a long time. That’s why I want to thank Lucy, who’s surely a big part of that. Especially with her hand on your thigh at this very moment.”
Damn. How did she notice? Lucy was so discreet. She immediately removes her hand, making my mother smile. I don’t even dare look to the side. I’m sure Lucy is just as panicked as I am.
“T-that's not what-, Lucy stammers.
“Oh, come on,” my mother interrupts her. “I wasn’t born yesterday! I already knew about Mapi, if you’re still wondering, Ona.”
I open my mouth to speak, but my mother beats me to it.
“I don’t blame you for keeping quiet. I completely understand why, given our situation, but try not to lie to me again. You tried to be discreet all morning, but your looks and gestures when my back was turned were obvious.”
“I swear I-,” my girlfriend tries.
“You still dare to deny it?” my mother gently teases.
Lucy sighs and finally looks at me. I’ve never seen her like this… So embarrassed? Worried? Her behavior affects me even more than before. She nervously runs her hand through her hair.
“Fine,” she says. “I’ll be honest then. I tried to ignore your daughter, but I simply couldn’t.”
“Please, feel free to address me informally. You’ve done so well up until now.”
Lucy grimaces slightly. The situation must be different for her now. I’ve never seen her so uncomfortable. It’s my turn to place my hand on her thigh to reassure her. I thought she would remove it, but she doesn’t. She takes it and intertwines our fingers. I didn’t think we’d have to have this conversation so soon.
“If you want to report me to Wiegman, I’ll accept the consequences, but there’s no way I’m staying away from your daughter.”
I hadn’t even thought of that. I look at my mother with a panicked expression. Would she dare? Her face is unreadable until a small smile appears on her lips.
“That was never my intention. Ona would never forgive me if I did something like that,” she says with a genuine smile. “It’s a beautiful gesture of love, in any case. My intention was just to confirm my suspicions, and it seems I was right.”
Lucy’s grip on my hand loosens slightly. I think her wave of panic has passed. She gently caresses the knuckles she had just been crushing.
“So… I mean, it doesn’t bother you that we’re together…?” I ask uncertainly.
“Why would it? Ona, I know we didn’t always see eye to eye, but I’ve never wanted anything but your happiness, even if you have a hard time understanding that. If Lucy is the one who makes you happy, I’m not going to stand in your way. I should be thanking her for bringing my daughter back.”
“There’s nothing to thank me for. She makes me just as happy.”
I don’t know what to say. So my mother knew all along, and I didn’t even realize it. Maybe Mapi told her, or maybe I’m less predictable to her than I thought. We weren’t on good terms, but her opinion still mattered to me. It could have completely torn our relationship apart, which is why I was afraid to tell her. In any case, this conversation was unexpected. Dimples form on my girlfriend’s cheeks as she smiles. I lean in to kiss her, not caring if my mother is watching. It doesn’t last long, but it’s enough to convey all my gratitude for facing this with me.
“So, how long have you two been together?”
Lucy and I look at each other for a moment before a small laugh escapes us. It’s probably the tension releasing.
“To be honest… Only since last night,” Lucy admits.
“Oh… I expected it to be longer than that,” my mother says with a hint of disappointment. “And how old are you? If it’s not too intrusive.”
“Mom,” I groan, rolling my eyes.
“It’s okay, Ona,” Lucy giggles. “I’m turning twenty-six this year. I’m older, but it’s never bothered us until now. Ona is very mature for her age… Stubborn when she wants to be, but mature.”
This is the first time she’s ever said that. I didn’t know she thought that about me. She usually calls me a “cheeky kid.” I look at my mother to see her reaction. She just smiles and nods. She doesn’t seem to want to contest it. She was always interested in the people in my life, which is why I was afraid to tell her about my orientation. When I was a teenager, I sometimes brought home a few boys, and that was the only time she asked questions and seemed to care about me.
“It seems you’ve found your rare gem, Ona.”
“I hope so. She scares me sometimes, but otherwise she’s perfect.”
- "Hey!" complains my girlfriend.
- "Sorry, but I used to think of you as a tyrant at first," I admitted.
- "Nice," she mutters.
Our conversation is interrupted by laughter, not from us, but from my mother. We look at her, unsure of how to react. I gently stroke Lucy's hand with a smile.
- "You two are adorable. Since yesterday, you say? You don’t seem like it, given how you act around each other."
- "We kind of delayed things because of me," Lucy admits, briefly glancing at me.
- "You're definitely welcome in Barcelona this weekend, since that's probably what's going to happen," my mom teases us.
- "That wasn't my intention..."
- "But you knew I was going to suggest it," I said. "You're not going to make me beg, are you? She’s giving you her blessing!"
- "And why not?" she raises an eyebrow. "If I'm supposedly a tyrant, you might as well beg."
- "You’re impossible."
- "And you're a fool."
I groan in frustration. I’m sure she would be capable of saying no. I move closer and kiss her on the cheek.
- "I’m sorry for thinking that. You know, of course, that I don’t believe it anymore. Now that you’ve had your apology... Will you come to Barcelona with me? Please?"
- "Hmm... I don't know," she teases with a smirk.
- "My mom is giving you permission to come," I repeated desperately.
Seeing that she only responds with a smug smile, I pout and return to my meal. I have to let go of her hand to pick up my fork, which doesn’t seem to please her. But I don't like being teased this much either. I hope she won’t refuse to let me go home if she decides not to come. My priority is to see Joan now. I wouldn’t want her to be mad at me for forgetting him.
- "We’ll talk about it later, okay?" she says more calmly.
- "It’s already decided. Either you come with me, or I go alone," I muttered.
Lucy sighs, catching my attention. I know she won’t let me go alone given the circumstances.
- "Fine. You win."
- "Really?" I asked, more excitedly than I meant to.
- "I suppose, yeah," she says, shrugging nonchalantly. "If I’m allowed," she adds, looking at my mom.
- "I don't see any problem with it. My daughter is an adult; she’s old enough to handle her love life."
- "See! So, you’re coming with me?"
- "Alright, alright."
- "Oh my God!" I exclaimed, jumping into her arms. "You’re the best!"
A sharp pain shoots through me because of my position, but it doesn’t stop me from kissing her cheek repeatedly. I’ve wanted her to see my world for so long. Now, that’s one thing that will finally happen.
- "But I haven't forgotten about your studying."
- "Are you serious?" I groaned. "Can’t you leave your responsible side behind for once?"
- "No. I’m not repeating a year because of you."
- "I’m not asking you to do that."
- "But I’m not letting you repeat a year on your own either. Who knows what kind of disaster that would be. I guess we can study tonight and tomorrow."
- "Good idea. That way we can relax this weekend."
- "That depends on how much you get done."
I roll my eyes as she laughs. Well, she’s right anyway. I didn’t start my second semester off well, and I need to get to work if I want to succeed. Especially after what Lucy just told me about my future. The rest of the meal continues mainly with conversations between my mom and my girlfriend. My mom is very interested in Lucy’s life and, surprisingly, in mine here as well. Maybe we’re finally ready to move forward. I still think Lucy’s presence has a lot to do with it. My mom must really like her. She’s nothing like Feli or my other boyfriends. She’s smart and full of charisma. I’m lucky she chose me as her girlfriend. To think she’s helping to solve all my problems with my mom.
Thursday, February 4th; 4:00 PM - Lucy’s Room.
I smile as Lucy collapses onto her bed just after we enter her room. For a day that was supposed to be relaxing, it was surprisingly busy. We just got back. Lucy kindly offered to drop my mom off at the airport after lunch. They connected immediately. We stayed with her until she took off. My mom took the opportunity to buy our tickets for this weekend. She got three after we discussed it with Lucy. I noticed she was uncomfortable with the idea of coming to Barcelona, so I suggested we bring Ingrid along. I like her, and I’ve heard she’s getting closer to Mapi. It’s a chance to thank her and make up for things.
- "This day was so unexpected," Lucy comments, pulling me out of what must have been an intense stare.
Her smile widens, probably thinking I was watching her. I blush and look away. That’s probably not the best way to prove otherwise, but it was an automatic reaction.
- "Yeah... I-I’m going to call Mapi. I’ll let her know we’re coming to Barcelona this weekend."
- "I think your mom was afraid I’d change my mind, which is why she bought the tickets," she laughs.
- "Probably. She really liked you."
- "Isn’t that a good thing?"
- "I don’t care what she thinks."
She sits down to take off her shoes. Meanwhile, I grab my phone from the nightstand drawer. Lucy tosses her shoes onto the floor, creating a loud noise, before lying back against her pillow with a satisfied sigh.
- "You know, Ona. You can lie to anyone you want, but definitely not to me," she smiles.
- "Alright... Maybe it matters a little."
She giggles and pats the spot next to her. I don’t like that she can read me so well. It feels like I can’t hide anything from her.
- "I expected your mom to be more difficult," she confesses. "She really cares about you, you know."
- "I know," I sighed.
I sit on the edge of the bed to take off my shoes, which quickly join Lucy’s on the floor. As soon as they’re off, I gasp in surprise when she pulls me back.
- "Gently," I grumbled. "I’m still recovering!"
- "Oh, sorry hermosa," she says, freezing me in her arms.
This new nickname from her feels almost strange. She presses herself against my back, burying her head in my hair.
- "Are you okay?" she whispers.
- "Yeah," I sighed.
I turn over, groaning as I move. The painkiller is starting to wear off. But I smile when she kisses my forehead.
- "Are you still in a lot of pain?"
- "It’s manageable," I say, running a hand through my hair.
She looks at me in a way that makes me finally see what she’s feeling. I wonder how she used to hide her emotions so well.
"I’m going to put more cream on you, and you’ll take another painkiller with dinner. That should keep you comfortable through the night. »
- "It's not necessary."
- "Don't argue," she says as she gets up. "You've been complaining about the pain all day, so you're going to let me take care of you."
- "Fine," I relented.
It's hard to argue when she's already in the bathroom getting the cream. I take advantage of her absence to lie down in the middle of the bed and lift my shirt up to just below my chest.
- "I'll take this opportunity to call Mapi, if you don't mind. She's going to give me an earful for not being in touch," I added.
- "Go ahead," she says, straddling me. "I told her I'd allow you to call in the next few days. Maybe you'll be spared since she thinks I was the one keeping you from it."
- "I doubt she believed that," I giggled.
I can't help but look at Lucy with soft, tender eyes. She seems so different from usual. She's much more... open. Maybe I wasn't the most closed-off one between us after all. I must be looking at her strangely, given the way she starts to smile.
- "What? Is something bothering you?"
- "No," I said, blushing. "It's just that you're acting differently."
- "In a good way, I hope?"
- "Oh yes, yes," I stammered.
- "Well... You'd better get used to it... At least in private, of course."
My eyes linger on her hands, now covered in cream.
- "Make your call. She's just waiting for you to do it."
I nod as I dial her number, feeling a slight knot in my stomach. I'm dreading her reaction after my long week of silence. She has every right to be upset with me. The call connects just as Lucy's hands rest on my sides.
- "Wow! A call from my Onita? I thought I was hallucinating. Is it really you?"
- "Hello to you too, Mapi... Yes, it's me," I rolled my eyes.
- "Oh, well it's a good thing it's you. Just so you know, I'm hurt by your radio silence, Ona."
- "It wasn't my fault."
- "Of course. What did you always tell me...? Oh yes, I remember. 'When there's a will, there's a way.' Isn't that right?"
What was I thinking? It was obvious she'd be upset. I close my eyes as a shiver runs through me, thanks to Lucy's gentle touches. It's such a contrast to the harsh, resentful words my best friend just said.
- "If you keep pouting, I'll hang up without sharing the good news."
- "Good news?" she scoffs. "Who am I talking to? Whoever you are, give me back my best friend. She hasn't had good news to share in weeks."
- "Okay, fine, you win. I'm hanging up."
- "Oh, there it is! I think I recognize my Onita now!"
I roll my eyes in amusement as I hear her laugh. There's some commotion in the background, and I frown, realizing she's not alone. It's rare for her to be with anyone since her breakup; she had isolated herself.
- "Who are you with?"
- "Miller and Bryan. They're helping me with a project for class. They send their regards."
- "Oh, that's unexpected. You're not in for an easy time with them. Say hi to them for me too."
- "I have to spend time with people since you're not here. And you'd be surprised. They're actually decent help, against all odds."
There it is, the remark I was expecting. Mapi can be very bitter when she wants to be.
- "I'm sorry, Maps," I say, focusing on my stomach where Lucy's fingers are still working. I'm trying to make it up to her, but she won't let me get a word in edgewise.
I didn't know Lucy was so skilled at massages. It's making it hard to concentrate. My stomach is still covered in bruises, but she's being very careful not to hurt me.
- "Hey, Batlle!"
- "Hmm?" I responded absentmindedly.
- "You sound... quite occupied," she teases. "Maybe I should hang up instead of waiting for your apologies."
- "Sorry," I groaned. "I was just focused on something else."
Lucy chuckles at my response, finally looking up at me. I blush at the thought of what she might be thinking.
- "Oh, and what's so distracting that you're ignoring me, again?"
- "I'm not ignoring you," I rolled my eyes.
- "Hmm... Sure, whatever you say," she mutters. "Anyway, what's this good news? Since you couldn't manage to write to me for a whole week, you better tell me you talked with Lucy."
- "That's actually the good news, sort of," I replied, locking eyes with Lucy.
I bite my lip as I feel Lucy's hands move up my sides, a very sensitive spot for me since I'm extremely ticklish. I wonder if she can hear what Mapi's saying.
- "Explain. You owe me that much, I think."
- "Everything's sorted out. The good news is that I'm coming home to Barcelona this weekend, and she's coming with me."
- "Oh really, yo-... Wait. What!?" she exclaimed.
I smiled, imagining the expression she must have. I'd pay a lot to see it. I can hear the guys teasing her in the background.
- "She just figured it out?" Lucy asks me.
- "I think so."
- "Put her on speaker."
I comply, pressing the button before placing the phone beside us.
- "I assume you're with her? How could you hide this from me? Since when!? It's a disgrace! I’ve been supporting your relationship from the beginning and putting up with your broken hearts! I should have been informed the next hour!"
- "Calm down. It's very recent," Lucy replies.
- "Lucy!" she exclaims in surprise. "No, but seriously! I'm both mad at you and happy for you at the same time. You'd better take care of my best friend, and as for you, Ona, you'd better tell me everything! I want all the details!"
- "There she goes, we've lost her," Lucy jokes. "I don't need your threats to do that, you know," she retorts. "You've already done enough, and I've already had to face Ona's mom's threats."
- "It's thanks to my threats that you're together, in a way. Hey, wait. What did you say? Abby? What's this all about?"
- "It's a very long story," I say just as Lucy applies cream to my bruised eye.
- "You two are so mean to me," Mapi responds. "How dare you hide everything from me, of all people?"
- "We're not hiding anything from you. We'll explain everything this weekend, I promise."
- "Pff, yeah, whatever. It doesn't change the fact that you'd better take care of Ona, or you'll be hearing from me!"
- "Don't worry about that."
I chuckle as Lucy rolls her eyes. She smiles at me before leaning down to kiss me. We must not be very discreet because it triggers a disgusted noise on the other end of the phone.
- "Please, don't do that while I'm still on the line."
- "What's wrong, Mapi?" Lucy teases. "Isn't this what you wanted?"
- "Oh yes, but I'd rather not hear your kisses and cuddles. It's depressing for a single person."
- "As far as I know, you won't be single much longer."
- "What do you mean?" I asked. "Since when does Lucy know more than I do?"
- "Since you've been missing in action, duh."
- "Very petty revenge, Mapi. Once again, it's Lucy who didn't want me to text you at night."
- "No, it's not that I didn't want you to. It's just that you needed to sleep earlier, and she preferred being in Alexia's room before."
- "Yeah, whatever. Doesn't matter. Now that I'm here, is what she just said true?"
- "Of course," Lucy answers. "Mapi is just scared to take the plunge with Ingrid."
- "Lucy!" my best friend exclaims. "I thought that was supposed to stay between us!"
- "Oops?"
I giggle as Mapi sighs in frustration. So, she's scared to date my instructor. That's new and very unexpected.
- "You'd better stop stalling, Mapi. Ingrid won't chase after you forever," Lucy tells her.
- "I know," she sighs. "But it's complicated with the distance and all. I'd prefer to talk to her face to face."
- "It's your lucky day because she's coming with us this weekend."
- "What!?"
- "You heard right. I know you told her you'd give her a chance when you saw each other again, so if you want my advice, start coming up with convincing arguments. Ingrid can be a very difficult woman when she wants to be."
- "Wha-"
- "Don't say we never did you a favor. Now, I'd like to spend the rest of this afternoon with my girlfriend, if you don't mind."
- "No, no, wait, please! Don't hang u-"
- "Goodnight, Mapi."
I look at Lucy curiously as she hangs up on Mapi. She's not going to appreciate that. What bothers me more, though, is that Lucy knows more than I do.
- "What did I miss?"
- "Mapi is scared and keeps pushing things back. A bit like me. The situation is starting to frustrate Ingrid, and I just gave her some golden information. She'd better use it because Ingrid can be very unforgiving."
- "Oh... I guess she's afraid to open her heart again."
- "I don't know Mapi well enough to understand her reasons," she shrugs. "She just confided in me because I know Ingrid, and you weren't around."
- "Hmm... I hope things work out for them."
- "I'm sure they will. I said Ingrid was unforgiving, not heartless," she smiles. "She might just make Mapi sweat a little, if you know what I mean."
- "I know exactly what you mean."
I laugh against Lucy's lips as she comes in for another kiss. She doesn't stay long, though, as she gets up to return to the bathroom to put away the cream and wash her hands. Meanwhile, I don't dare move since I'm covered in cream everywhere, and I don't want to risk getting it all over. She comes back shortly after to put away my phone and then lies down next to me again. I smile as she wraps her arms around me. I hope Mapi finds the same happiness I've found. It's the best I can wish for her. One thing is certain, though: this weekend is going to be very interesting.

🧎‍♀️more edira????? in evil old lesbian office worker we trust 🙏
how about a honeymoon-esque vacation scenario??? I am dying to see more of casual edira, the way she was in that last drabble ahgdgshababnabab
ur writing is just so good 💝
A/N: This is so kind! I was really surprised that Edira kept showing up in my inbox but I can't complain! I didn't want to jump to honeymoon just yet so here's a little vacation/beach episode :D
CW: blackmail/forced relationship, power imbalance, edira grabbing reader’s butt, overall possessive red flags --WC:2300
Synopsis: vacay with your powertrip of a girlfriend Edira! But her workaholic tendencies are hard to escape.
Tumblr media
Taking “official” photos was always a humbling experience. You looked down at your passport ID for the hundredth time, grimacing at how dead you looked in the grainy picture.
“It’s not that bad. And see, the light hit your eyes perfectly,” Edira promised, but it didn’t fix the frown on your face as you focused on each blemish and pore that was exacerbated tenfold in the tiny image that represented who you were across country lines.
“Easy for you to say, you look the same as you did in your headshots on the branch website..”
You looked at her from the bed, watching the back of her sandy grey-blonde head shake with a sigh. The business woman rapidly typed away on her glowing laptop, seemingly irritated by the crashing waves outside the open sliding doors.
“Well, if you really want we can get it taken again, when I put my last name on there too.”
At that, you were quiet. Moving in together, and now vacations across boarders…. Her reference to marriage shouldn’t have been shocking, but it put all other thoughts in your brain to a stop. You didn’t really want to marry her, did you? Your blackmailing boss who was more like a war general than a tender lover, one who daydreamed about bending you over her desk more than what flowers she’d want at the ceremony venue. The possibility of staring into her bleak expression at an empty, cold courthouse and being forced to elope was something that made your frown droop even further.
The sad excuse of a wedding depressed you more than the thought of marrying Edira at all.
But you shook that despairing vision out of your head-- you were here to relax, to get away from the stress of your office environment (your coworkers)  and neverending projects with cutthroat deadlines (running reports and files to Edira as soon as she requests them.)
“Well, I still don’t know how I convinced you to let us do this. I mean, I didn’t think you ever took vacations. When’s the last time you went on a trip that wasn’t for work?”
Edira stopped her clacking, french tips scraping along one of the computer’s keys.
“This is my first. I never had any reason to use my PTO days, until now.”
Wow, you really WERE dating a workaholic. What kind of insane person doesn’t use their personal days the second they get the chance? If you had been more than a temp, you would’ve taken all of yours the second Edira tried to indoctrinate you into her little play “date” plan.
“Well then why are you doing work!? This is one of the few times you can get away with not being available every other second of the day. You’ve been on your computer since we got on the plane-- isn’t it time we actually, you know, vacationed?”
Edira returned to her email writing. “They might need me, I’m the only one who has access to the other branches’ inf--”
“C’monn, I think they’ll be fine without you for an hour or two. Otherwise, what was the point of coming here..” You hopped to the screen doors, opening the curtains to see the glimmering ocean right outside your suite. The sand rippled with the blowing wind, completely void of footsteps or life.  “I mean we LITERALLY have the ocean right here and you’d rather stare at your laptop.”
Edira hummed, not convinced.
Yikes; If you wanted to explore the island you were supposed to be vacationing on, you’d need to pull out the big guns.
“You’d rather focus on your work than… spend time with me?” Your voice cracked, looking at the ships far away from your corner of the coast. It was physically sickening to sweeten yourself up in order to get Edira’s favor. But how else could you actually use this once-in-a-lifetime chance to swim in the Indian Ocean, to experience something, anything, outside of your boring desk job and droning urban life.
At your buttered up question, Edira paused. You could see her looking at you from the corner of her eye, unreadable.
She shut her laptop. Pushing away from the desk she sighed, running a sharp hand through her hair, tight jaw clenching and unclenching.
“Put your bathing suit on.” Was all she said, unzipping the back of her form-fitting dress.
You didn’t say anything, no claps of excitement or relentless thank you’s-- lest she change her mind to ruin your fun. You hurried to change your shorts and souvenir shirt (A present from the airport gift shop; Edira saw you eyeing it) as the businesswoman walked to the master bathroom.
You prayed to be faster than her, hoping she wouldn’t catch you in a position that sparked her lust.
You were running around looking for sunscreen and towels when she came out, hands on her hips and dark sunglasses propped on her head. Even in her backless one piece, she looked like an executive on a business trip,  hard glare in her eyes and a muted black covering the front of her body. From the back however, a different person was hidden. The cheeky bottoms exposed nearly the full of her, well, bottom, as ruffled locks of hair fell like messy feathers down her shoulders, exposed to the salty wind. She was the sexy women in swimsuit magazines, meant to be a fantasy of maturity and dominance way out of your league. But here she was, looking you up and down as you hopped on one foot to try and grab a towel on the other side of the bed.
“You know, i’m not really a big fan of the beach. I don’t know why I picked this place… should’ve chosen the mountains or something. Someplace we wouldn’t be bothered.”
Someplace she could have you all to herself, she meant. Somewhere you wouldn’t be distracted by things to do and  would come looking to her for warmth by the fire.
“Maybe next vacation!” You hoped, praying that it turned the cogs in her machine brain to take you somewhere else, anywhere else, soon. “Meanwhile, we have our own private beach, thanks to you. We’ll only be bothered by the occasional seaweed. And maybe a fish or two.”
You gathered up the beach necessities in your arms, full of towels and a beach umbrella, along with small must-haves like water bottles and sunscreen spray cans. Edira looked at you with an incredilous stare, grabbing the towels and water from your hands to shove into her beach bag.
“Yeah, didn’t really think of that.” You said, noticing how most of the things you grabbed could be fit into her infinite ‘lifes a beach’ tote-- complementary from your Airbnb hosts.
“Let’s go.”
She walked out to the naked patio, locking her pointer finger with yours as you hiked the umbrella on your shoulder. You had come to learn Edira well; she didn’t like the sun, hated most gelatinous sugary mixtures, and was incredibly stubborn if an activity included something she found beneath her. Getting sand between her toes, included.
You found a place far away from the shore and began spinning the umbrella’s pole into the ground. Edira would surely make use of its shade, but the ocean was calling your name as she sat down on her beach towel, squinting behind her sunglasses.
“I can see the harbor from across the water; not particularly private, I’d say. The hosts’ll make sure to hear about this when we leave.”
“It’s private enough. What, did you want to go skinny dipping or something?” You laughed, clumping sand at the base of the umbrella with your foot. “The press would have a field day.”
You flumped down next to her, happy to be out of that stuffy, although beautiful, beach house that reminded you too much of Edira’s apartment. The warm sand was comforting, shells and rocks placed around you like little treasures.
“If I want to go skinny dipping with you I should be able to, not have to worry about some fisherman watching while I touch you.” She pulled at your thigh, placing her hand on the inside as she lifted up her sunglasses. “Or maybe, you’d like that, letting them watch you frolick and squirm. Maybe we should find out if they can really see us--”
She had the full intention of digging under your bottoms to make a statement, but your reaction time to her had improved.
“You’re such a worrywart, can we just swim now please? It’s better than sitting her in the hot sun, on the sticky sand..” You knew you caught her when she turned her nose at the mention of the sun, only worsening as she started to feel the sand cover her feet.
She was a priss through and through, and sometimes it worked in your favor.
“Fine… but if I’m touched by something slimy I can’t help what I do.”
You grinned with your teeth, unable to hold back a smile at finally getting to experience the beginning of your vacation.
You ran to the waves crashing against the sand, feeling them flick up at your ankles and knees as you waded in the water.
You turned around to walk backwards into the sea, watching as the woman hesitantly took out a hairtie that once had her hair in a high pony.
“Come on! Slowpoke!”
Edira reached the gap between land and water, frowning at schools of tiny fish and jagged rocks that would surely make it hard to walk in heels the next morning.
You had to drag her further, holding her outstretched hand as she let you lead her deeper into the water.
“It’s not so bad, right? Nothing slimy thus far…”
“Something’s definitely touching my leg.” She remarked, linking arms with you as if you were a safety floaty. “And it smells like fish.”
You both trudged far enough from shore, a little more than waist deep as you watched the sun near the horizon line.
You took a moment to look at it, staring as the boats pass by from far away, seeing the empty houses on the beach neighboring yours between areas of trees.
Edira turned towards you, the same moment something coming to grip your bottom.
“Something nabbed me!” You nearly shrieked, only to feel the same sensation on your other cheek, pulling you forward against Edira. She had her arms wrapped behind you, squeezing your ass like it was dough to be kneaded.
“Thought I was the scared one, hm?”
You looked away, putting your hands against Edira’s abdomen. She leered over you, ignoring your attempts to create distance as she caged you in. The waves pushed you together, water swaying as her legs brushed against your knees deep below.
“don't look away from me now, you're too adorable like this…”
She watched your eyes barely peek up, defensive fists flattening against the bare of her collarbone. She was almost spotless, save for a few sun-kissed freckles sprinkled here and there.
Edira grinned a wolfy smirk. Even despite her discomfort in the sea she knew you were wrapped around her finger, nervous lips twitching while watching her bring a hand from your bottom to your neck.
Her hands  were salty and wet from the sea, pulling at the base of your head to bring you closer. The workaholic almost seemed to begin destressing as her nose pressed against yours.. Edira nuzzled with her forehead pressed to your sweaty one, fine fingers caressing downward to grab your jaw.
Without warning, her tongue perched itself against your cheek, turning your face to the side as she ran a long stripe up to your temple. It was wet and full, drawing out her time to savor the flavor and discomfort of your expression.
“What are you--”
“Salty.” She murmured. “You're so soft, getting all mushy in my arms.” Edira laughed-- a real laugh, with a small snort as she leaned into you. She was so close, the intimate entertwining of your bodies so unusual from her normal obscurity.
It was hard not to look petulant when her eyes peered down at you with a gleam, as if you were a cute drunk thing at the bar she wanted to take home safe, or a pampered puppy ready to be suffocated with attention.
“So cute.. might make me jealous letting all these boatmen see you in such a little bathing suit.” She teased, progressively in a better mood now with the clouds blocking the sun and your body so cooperative in her grasp.
“Jealous?” You rolled your eyes. “Oh noo, I could never imagine my girlfriend being jealous.”
All the times of her domineering possessive behavior ran through your head, the sarcastic comment truly not detailing how severe she had gone.
“I am your girlfriend…” she grinned, kissing your shoulder with a tight grip arpund your hips. “Now that I hear it,I want more… it sounds too, loose.”
Wait, did you really call her your “girlfriend”? Hell, maybe the sun was starting to get to you.
“We'll it’s not like we can get MARRIED, haha,” you awkwardly brush off how romantic she's being all of a sudden, soft circles created by her nails running along the dip of your back. “I mean… right? We're too uncommitted for marriage, and I mean who would want to marry someone the’re in a fake relationship with.”
You couldn’t tell if you were talking about her or you anymore. Edira’s chest pressed against yours, arms tentatively keeping you trapped against her.
“Mm… Still feels fake to you?” She questioned In your neck, surprisingly calmer than you expected her to be at that comment. “How much more do I need to convince you that this is real,” Those soft lips came to brush against your ear. “That you’re not going anywhere.”

JAMIE TARTT | call it what you want.
PAIRING: jamie tartt x fem!reader
WORD COUNT: 5.7k
SUMMARY: reader's family comes to visit london and she ends up having to hide her relationship with jamie till the final game of the season.
WARNINGS: language, innuendos
A/N: this is technically a sequel to my comfort crowd story that was my first one about jamie, but it can be read as a standalone too! would recommend reading it first since it gives a little backstory to the garden and reader's past relationship. also, you'll probably be able to tell that i rewatched match scene in the finale for a certain scene AHAHAHA i really wanted to show jamie's more affectionate side, so there's def a few cheesy scenes in here! the title is taken from 'call it what you want' by taylor swift
Tumblr media
It's midnight when you hear a knock on your door. Any reasonable person would've ignored it and/or hid in case it was some axe murderer. Of course, you knew it wasn't a murderer, just your boyfriend.
"I thought I said you couldn't stay over tonight?" You say when you open the door to reveal Jamie, whose expression quickly turns into a pouty face.
"I know, but I missed you," You playfully roll your eyes, yet are unable to stop your smile. Christ, he could be annoying, but he could also be pretty sweet. Those two balanced each other out.
"Fine, come in, but you can’t sleep here," You take his hand and bring him inside your flat. He plants a kiss on your temple and the two of you settle down on the couch, which for you was a deserved reward.
The reason why you were up so late despite having to work in the morning was that you had been trying to make your place spotless before your brother and his family came to visit the next day. They had already been in England for a few days but were only coming to London now to visit you and to attend the final Richmond match of the season.
"How's the cleaning going?" Jamie asks, as he wraps one arm around you and reaches for the remote in the other one.
"Took five hours, but at least it’s done." You sigh as you settle closer to Jamie. Even if you had warned him not to come over tonight, you still appreciated his presence.
When you started dating, you never expected the football player to be so clingy, but not even a day after your first date, he was already hanging around you every chance he got.
You couldn’t even hide it from the team because the moment Sam caught the two of you arriving at the clubhouse together, that was it for you guys. They were happy for the two of you, though sometimes too happy, especially whenever you had to call Jamie for a physical and they automatically assumed it was code for something.
"How was practice?"
"Good. The team's having a hard time mastering the start though. The timing's always off," He explains about the surprise goodbye performance they were doing for Ted and Beard.
They had been planning it from the moment they heard the news the two of them were leaving for Kansas at the end of the season. Well, right after they all finished processing — through crying, screaming, protesting, and the like — the news.
"You guys will do fine," you take the remote from his hand and start looking for a certain movie. "Plus, even if you fuck it up, I’m sure they’ll love it regardless." That gets Jamie to chuckle and you feel the vibrations from his chest.
"How about this? Let's watch the Sound of Music, so you can try and copy one of the von Trapp siblings!" You suggest as you press play on the movie. Jamie doesn't protest and simply wraps his other arm around you too.
You look up at your boyfriend and suddenly feel a pang of guilt. "I'm really sorry,"
You don't need to explain further because Jamie instantly understands. He kisses you on your forehead, "Stop saying that. I know you don't want your family to know you're dating such a talented football player because you're afraid one of them will try and steal me from you."
You remove yourself from Jamie before playfully pushing his head. "Yeah, that's exactly right." The both of you laugh as Jamie pulls you in again.
You had already explained why you were hiding it from them back when you found out they were visiting. You had already been dating Jamie for a couple of months, but not a single person back home knew.
Most of your family knew about the disastrous way your last relationship ended and you were sure they'd be extra protective about the next guy. As much as you loved being with Jamie and knew he wasn’t that guy anymore, you knew that your football-obsessed family was aware of who he used to be.  Stories of the multiple scandals, hook-ups, and rumors of unsportsmanlike conduct throughout the years were the exact reason you were so afraid to tell them. Those were in the past and you knew that, but you weren’t so sure how to convince your family of that, too.
Jamie, true to form as the prick he is, completely understood and never tried to pressure you to tell them. He was even the one to tell the whole team that your brother was coming to visit and they had to, in his words, shut the fuck up about your relationship.
This was probably the last night for a few days you two could comfortably spend together, so you didn't really want to force him away. The two of you just sat there watching a Julie Andrews classic where you'd occasionally hear Jamie sing along to the musical numbers.
It was around 2 am when the movie finished and now, he definitely had to go home. Even then, you had a hard time separating yourself from Jamie, but your rational brain was telling you it would be bad for a secret relationship if your family caught him in the apartment.
"See you tomorrow, yeah?" Jamie says as he opens the front door.
Instead of responding, you plant a kiss on his lips, catching him by surprise. He's quick to wrap his arms around your waist as he reciprocates it. You separate and finally, answer him. "Yup, see you tomorrow." Jamie gives you one last hug and a kiss on the cheek before he leaves your apartment.
You look around your place for a second, seeing if there's anything you need to fix up before tomorrow. Once you assess that it's as clean as it can be, you go to your room and catch some much-needed sleep.
——
When you hear a knock at your door, you drag yourself out of your bed and to the living room. Before you can even twist the doorknob, you hear a voice on the other side, "You should be awake by now!"
"I am!" you respond, as you open the door. You're greeted by the sight of your older brother Frank, your sister-in-law Denise, and their son Gregory.
"Hello, family," you say drowsily, as the three of them envelope you with a hug. Once they let go, you lead them inside your apartment. "How's your vacation so far?"
"Oh, amazing. I get why you moved to Europe," Denise answers, as she looks around your flat. "They have you set up pretty nice here, huh?" She plops down on your couch and pulls Gregory down next to her.
"Yup," you head to the kitchen to make the three of them some drinks. "So, what do you two plan to do while Gregory comes to work with me?" They had already told you ages ago that Gregory wanted to visit the clubhouse badly, but you knew it was also free babysitting.
"Sightseeing mostly," your brother replies, grabbing his cup of tea from you. When you take a seat next to Denise and your nephew, the former leans into you and whispers, "And get into places where 18 and unders can't."
You chuckle and she plants a kiss on her son's head. As they enjoy their drinks, the three of you start catching up. You steer clear of any questions about relationships and instead focus on you being a physical therapist for a football team.
"Do their feet smell?" Gregory asks and you nod your head.
"Extremely, so always remember to wash your feet, okay?" You reply and the 8-year-old gives you a thumbs up and drinks his hot chocolate.
The topic then shifts to the upcoming final game between Richmond and West Ham. You managed to get the 3 of them tickets, — thank you, Higgins, — which they said was the perfect way to end their trip.
"I'll get you some shirts today, too. Gregory's gonna help me pick them out, yeah?" You turn to your nephew who is more than excited to do so.
"Nice," your brother reacts. "I'd appreciate an Obisanya one."
"Yup, and I want a Colin Hughes one if they're available. And of course, this one here," Denise pulls Gregory into a hug, "wants the captain's jersey."
"Will do," you make a mental note, before excusing yourself to get ready for work.
You’re freshening up in your bathroom when you hear your nephew call out to you. "Mom's asking if you have an extra blanket!"
"Check my room!" You hear him go to the room across and as he passes you again, he shouts a quick 'Thank you!'
Once you’re done getting changed, you head back to the living room. All three of them were ready to head out, so you lock up and hail a taxi to the AFC Richmond clubhouse. On the drive there, the seatbelt was practically the only thing stopping Gregory from bouncing up and down in the car.
When you get there, you find some members of the team along with the Director of Football Operations standing front and center near the entrance of the building. You thank the driver and grab Gregory by the hand. You say goodbye to his parents, and since they’re so excited to have some alone time, they don't even bother looking up at the scene in front of them.
"What's all this?" You say as you approach the entrance. Gregory, despite his excitement, was now walking more cautiously, lagging behind you. When they hear your voice, the team finally settles down.
"Well, a little birdie told me that you'd be bringing someone special to work today and so we decided to assemble the Richmond Welcome Committee for him." You stare at all of them in disbelief and your smile grows wider. You find Jamie in the group, whose smug expression tells you exactly who it was.
"Hello there, Gregory," Higgins turns to your nephew and sticks his hand out, who is still hiding behind you. You move to the side and crouch down next to him, so he feels more at ease.
"Hi," your nephew finally speaks up and shakes his hand.
Higgins then bends down to the eye level of your nephew. "Welcome to AFC Richmond! We prepared a little gift for you if that's okay."
Gregory nods his head. Higgins and the rest of the team start doing a drumroll and move out of the way to reveal Isaac, with a personalized jersey. You exhale in disbelief and turn to your nephew.
"What do you say, Greg?" Said nephew was too awestruck by his favorite player to even move.
After a few seconds, he finally ran up to Isaac and hugged his favorite player. The team captain was now the one in shock, but slowly reciprocated it. Gregory then lets go and accepts the jersey from him. The rest of the team moves to crowd the boy and start talking with him. Almost immediately, your nephew transforms from his former terrified state to the life of the party.
You moved to the side to give them space and thank Higgins, who just shook his head. "It's no problem," he started. "Henry doesn't come here that often anymore, so it was nice to do this for another kid." You smile, before noticing Jamie going toward you.
"And here's the little birdie now," Higgins jokes before excusing himself. You see the team busy entertaining Gregory, so you take the chance to plant a kiss on Jamie's cheek.
"If only the tabloids knew how sweet the striker of AFC Richmond could be." You whisper afterward.
"I know, I'm a great not-boyfriend." He continues to show his smug smirk and before you can reply, you notice that your nephew is starting to look for you.
You put enough distance between you and Jamie to seem platonic, "Greg?" You catch his attention and see him already wearing his jersey over his shirt.
"Can we go inside now?" He asks and you nod your head.
You turn back to the "welcome committee," and thank them. "This was so great." They wave goodbye to the both of you — with Isaac giving Gregory a high-five — as they head to the field for training.
Once you're alone again, Gregory turns to you. "That was so much fun!" You laugh at the boy's reaction as you settle down in your office.
For about 2 hours, you had to deal with the boy asking you about every detail of the papers in front of you. Vitals, size charts, diagrams, he was curious about all of it. A part of you hoped that he'd want to talk about something, anything else, but you soon regret wishing that.
"Auntie (Y/N), is Jamie Tartt your favorite player?" You try and hide your shock at the question. He's 8 years old and it's probably an innocent question.
"Yes, he is." You answer honestly and turn your chair to the treatment table where Gregory was lying down. "Why do you ask?"
"Well, I saw you talking to him earlier." He observes, sitting up and looking like he's about to launch into a whole monologue. "And I saw a lot of his jerseys in your room too, so I thought you must be a fan. But you work here, so are you guys close?"
Maybe you should have closed the closet door before sending him in there. You try and keep your calm. "Kind of. I mean I'm close to all of the players, in a way."
If Gregory thinks anything is off, he doesn't show it. Instead, he nods his head and goes back to his comic book as you continue to work on some reports for the players.
Once you finish, you bring Gregory to watch the morning training. His parents were going to pick him up during lunch, so you only had to keep up the charade for just a little longer. The team was doing a few drills when you got there and Ted spots the two of you approaching. He immediately runs over and greets, "Is this the little guy? Hi, I'm Ted."
What was it with dads and shaking little kid's hands? Gregory, already getting used to meeting such famous football personnel, took his hand and shook it as firmly as an 8-year-old could. Jamie was too busy with his drills to notice you there and you’ve never been more relieved about that.
After spending the next hour watching the game from the stands, it was time for lunch and you headed to the car park to find Frank and Denise. You smile at them and hand off Gregory who started telling his parents about his brand-new personalized kit.
You feel your phone vibrate and take it out to find a message from Jamie. secret boyfriend bought secret lunch for a secret date in your office ;)
You chuckle at the message and send him a quick reply before hearing Gregory mention your name. "Auntie's friends with all the players, especially Jamie Tartt. He's her favorite and they're close."
Oh, this child is going to ruin you. You try and stop yourself from overreacting, though you instead end up letting out an exaggerated laugh. "Yeah, I mentioned him being my favorite player, but he seemed to forget that I said I'm also close with all the players, not just Jamie."
Frank seemed to buy it, but you can tell that Denise was starting to pick up on things. She could always tell when you were lying, even before you left for London. After you had broken up with Matt, it took one call before she realized what happened. So it was only a matter of time till she figured it out, but you had hoped you could delay it till after their trip. You wave to the three of them as their taxi left the car park.
You headed back to your office to find Jamie already devouring his pasta. "Hey, I thought this was supposed to be a date?" His head snaps towards you with noodles still hanging out of his mouth.
"I didn't know how long you'd take and I need my carbs." You roll your eyes as you go to the seat across from him. Jamie puts his plate down and brings out yours.
The two of you start talking about the upcoming game this Sunday, to which you bring up your usual 'night before' ritual.
"I thought your family was gonna stay at your flat that night?" Jamie asks, but you just shrug.
"I'll find a way to escape. No way you're going to the garden without me. I'm your good luck charm, Mr. Tartt." You lean towards the football player and playfully narrow your eyes at him. He breaks into a smile and takes your hand into his.
"Yeah, you are." He says softly, and your smile starts to fade. Jamie would never say it out loud, certainly not in the clubhouse where his teammates could hear him, but his nerves always reached an all-time high before a big game. Even after the Man City match and the talk with his mum, you noticed he still felt uneasy in the days leading up to this one.
He was good at hiding it from most people, but over the months, you figured out the small tells that showed he wasn't feeling his best. That's one of the reasons Dr. Sharon suggested he find a safe space, one where he could collect himself before a game, especially like the game on Sunday.
"Hey," You get him to look back at you and squeeze his hand tighter. "You and the whole team are going to dominate. You've already guaranteed a spot in the Champions League, so you’re set for next season. Plus, your beautiful and frankly, awesome girlfriend is gonna be there in the dugout cheering you on."
Jamie pulls you in for a quick kiss as a thank you before you start to fix up the table. He then suggests a rather inappropriate after-lunch activity — "Ay! Call it a motivational activity," — and you have to physically push him out the door for his afternoon practice.
——
It's the night before the match and you were currently arguing with your brother about the sleeping situation.
"Frank, I'll be fine. There's three of you, it's a king-sized bed, and you know I love couches." This time, he gives in. You watch him disappear into your room and after five minutes, you start heading out.
You go down to find a parked car outside, with its owner leaning on the side of it scrolling through his phone. Since you had dinner with family and he got a drink with Roy, the two of you had planned to meet up later than usual.
"Told you I still knew how to sneak out." You say to him, and the moment his eyes land on you, his expression seems to relax. You approach him and ask, "How was hanging out with Roy?"
"Weird, but good," he answered as the two of you got into the car. "Told me he was proud of me."
"That's nice of him. After all those training sessions and him barging on both our doors early morning, you deserve it." You’re reminded of when Roy came to your flat at 4 am after he realized that Jamie wasn't at his own house, which ended with you scolding the coach about it.
You didn't want to make a big deal of it, but you knew how much Jamie appreciated hearing that from someone he looked up to since childhood. Especially with their history back when Jamie first joined the team.
He continued to tell you about what went down, even mentioning how he convinced Roy to go to Keeley that night and finally ask her out again. Though, he admitted he partly did that was so they could finish earlier and he could see you.
You get to the garden and despite visiting it almost every week, you’re still amazed at its beauty. You remember the first time he brought you there before you were even dating. You had been so touched that Jamie was willing to share this place with you that you ended up kissing him right then and there.
Ever since then, you ended up going with him before games, even if the two of you would just sit there in silence and simply take in the surroundings. That's exactly what was happening tonight, with you and Jamie sitting on a bench and just observing the garden.
After a while, you took the chance to look at Jamie without him noticing. He was always the most calm here and you could tell it from his side profile alone. His jaw was relaxed, his eyes were closed and he was breathing steadily.
You suddenly get the urge to admit something. "I'll tell Frank and Denise tomorrow." Jamie looks at you as you repeat, "I'm telling them about us tomorrow, after the game."
The football player breaks into a smile, and you can't help but mirror it. If the two of them could only get a glimpse of the Jamie you knew, who was thoughtful, enthusiastic, and truly kind-hearted, they wouldn't even care about all the dumb stories of the past.
After a little while longer, Jamie drives you home and you give him a quick goodbye kiss before heading back to your flat. You try to be as quiet as possible, turning the knob ever so slowly. You soon realized you didn't have to, as you hear someone clear their throat. You open the door to find Denise sitting on the couch in her pajamas and you freeze. "You went out?"
"Yes," you finally managed to croak out, as you closed the door behind you and leaned on it. "Wanted some fresh air."
"Fresh air? From the car I just saw you get out of?" Denise crosses her arms and you accept defeat. You say nothing as your sister-in-law asks, "Who's the guy?"
"Jamie Tartt," you admit, and her eyes almost pop out of her head.
"Oh shit, you are dating him. I really thought Gregory was just exaggerating things." You roll your eyes and join her on the couch.
You quickly plead, "Please don't tell Frank yet. I promise I’ll tell him after the match. You know, just in case he gets an urge to do bodily harm to my boyfriend."
"Come on, you know he wouldn't actually do that." You tilt your head. She adds, "He probably wouldn't. But fine, I'll keep it from him." You sigh in relief until she starts giving you a look. "So, Jamie Tartt, huh?"
You groan. "Oh God, can we not do this right now? What's wrong with him?"
"Nothing! I just didn't think you'd go for a guy like him. You know, more laidback with a slight douchy vibe."
"He is not a douche!" You're quick to defend Jamie, but now Denise narrows her eyes at you. "Not anymore. He was the one who planned that jersey thing for Greg. Would a douche do something like that?"
"Okay, okay, I believe you. He doesn’t seem like the prick from before." Denise holds her hands up in surrender. "But, I only know that because of how you're acting now." She nudges you on the shoulder and you tilt your head.
"Look, you just seem happier, lighter. Much better than when you were with Matt. I was never going to admit it, but you should’ve ended things after college. Nothing was too toxic about your relationship, but you always looked like you were holding something back."
It was true. It took a few months of not being with him anymore to realize just how many red flags he had. Yes, he was smart, polite, and always knew exactly what to say, but he was also the first to criticize you when you didn't live up to his “standard.” You had convinced yourself that he was only trying to make you better, but in reality, he was just an ass.
Being with Jamie is what convinced you of that. He got you out of your comfort zone to enjoy things, without ever making it feel like he was pressuring you. You did the same for him too, and instead of pushing back like Matt always did, Jamie would actually listen to what you had to say and cared what you thought.
You explain all of that to Denise and at the end of it, you're sure she's starting to see why you fell for Jamie in the first place. "I'm glad you're happy."
You hug your sister-in-law tightly before you both start getting tired. Everyone had to get up early tomorrow, so it was best to get some rest before then.
You're already lying down and tucked into the couch, but you grab your phone and send a quick message to Jamie.
i hope you're sleeping because this is for when you wake up tomorrow. good luck and i know you'll be the best fucking player on the field!
You hit the send button before returning your phone to the table and drifting off to sleep.
——
You had planned on getting to the clubhouse earlier than usual. You had to prepare for the match and your family didn’t want to push through a bunch of people to get to their seats.
But even then, there was already a crowd around the building. Maybe it was because this was your first time working here with the team making it to the finals, but you've never seen that many AFC Richmond fans present.
You had separated from the three of them once they got their tickets and insisted they could find their seats on their own. Because of all the chaos of getting ready and setting up with the whole crowd, you hadn't gotten a chance to check if Jamie had replied or even look for him.
It was only when Will showed up at the dugout saying that Jamie was looking for you did you see him for the first time today.
"I've been waiting for my good luck kiss," is how he greets you and you can only laugh as you embrace him. He met you outside of the locker room, so you avoided all the whistles and 'oohs' from his teammates.
You give him a quick kiss before telling him about last night. You could see his relief when he realized that your sister-in-law did approve of him, which you almost felt guilty about.
Jamie Tartt, world-renowned football player, was nervous about what a relative of yours thought about him.
"I'll tell Frank later. And, if you guys win the game, maybe he won't come after you and injure your other ankle." You remind him and he chuckles, but your straight face is enough for him to take it seriously.
"Shit. I guess we do have to win."
After hearing Ted asking everyone to huddle up, you separate from Jamie and the two of you join the crowd inside the locker room. You with the rest of the physical therapists and Jamie with the players.
You had to admit, you were a bit nervous for the game. You knew the team was doing great, but after their crying session right before the match, you were worried they'd be too teary-eyed to make it through. And in the first half, you were right to be. Despite their efforts, West Ham was ahead much to every Richmond supporter’s dismay.
But after whatever happened in the locker room, they seemed to be picking it up. After those 3 misses, you and the rest of the people in the dugout were ecstatic when Jamie finally scored.
But then it led to a whole different issue. Now, West Ham was focused on marking Jamie. From both a personal and professional standpoint, you were worried. Jamie's ankle could still easily be injured after what happened at Man City and Richmond would lose what was called "their central cog."
You were grasping your medical bag as the game continued, ready at any moment to rush over there. You flinched when Jamie fell to the ground, but when the referee called for a penalty, you knew this was one of his tricks and you sighed in relief.
He looks at you with one of his signature smirks as he's pulled up by Sam. You playfully shake your head and roll your eyes, as the teams get ready for the kick.
And thank God Isaac was able to get it in the net. Well, through it? You could feel Gregory's excitement over it, even if you weren't sure where they were in the crowd.
After eavesdropping on Rupert Mannion ordering his manager to "take out" Jamie, you felt a lump forming in your throat. But at least George still had some integrity, even if you ended up seeing his balls after he gets pushed. As Rupert got heckled off the pitch, Jamie catches your eyes.
He notices your worried expression and gives you a reassuring look. It was his way of saying "Don't worry, you think they can take me out?" You not as the players head back onto the field.
Even then, the players were completely boxing Jamie in, but you watched as Ted signaled a strategy for the free kick which they seem to understand quickly. Jamie's trying everything to get Bumbercatch's attention, but the moment he sends it Sam's way, you know exactly what's going on.
"Go, go, go," You whisper, on the edge of your seat. You're squeezing Will's arm a little too tight, but even he is too immersed in the game to care.
Sam gets the ball in and the whole stadium erupts in cheers. You wait, but when the final whistle was blown, you and Will start celebrating too. The whole team starts running onto the pitch and at that point, you weren't thinking.
The moment your eyes landed on Jamie, you were running across the pitch towards him. He catches you in his arms and pulls you into a kiss. You deepen it as if you weren't surrounded by thousands of people right then and there.
You break apart for a split second to say, "You guys absolutely smashed it. I knew you would win."
He pulls you back for another kiss, before smiling against your lips. "You aren't worried about your brother seeing us?"
The thought hadn't occurred to you at that moment, but you try and find them in the crowd, still not removing yourself from Jamie's grasp. With all the chaos, you give up and just shrug it off, turning back to the football player.
"I don't really care anymore." You admit as you laugh.
Jamie pulls you into a hug and spins you around in the air. You laugh and hold onto him tightly. When he puts you down, you find your family coming toward the two of you. Frank is the only one who seemed shocked by this whole ordeal, with Denise simply smirking and Gregory being distracted by all the people celebrating on the field.
"Right, hi Frank," you start and you slide your hand down from his arm to intertwine it with Jamie's hand to steady yourself. "Did I forget to tell you I have a boyfriend now?"
"Yeah, I don't think it's come up, no," He replies.
Jamie takes a step forward and stretches his other arm for a handshake. "Hello, it's nice to meet you. I'm Jamie—"
"Jamie Tartt, yes." Your brother firmly grasps his hand. "I know who you are." Jamie's legs buckle slightly at Frank's strength, but Denise puts a warning hand on her husband's shoulder.
"Not too hard, honey." which prompts Frank to finally let go of Jamie.
It's a few minutes of silence, — well, as quiet as a celebrating football stadium could be — before you finally try and escape the situation. "Maybe we should let Jamie celebrate with his team!"
"Yes, of course! Congratulations, Jamie! You guys did amazing." Denise says, causing Jamie to flash a genuine smile.
"Yes, you and your team did great," Frank adds on, notably less enthusiastic. "Especially with that last shot from Obisanya." Of course, he had to add his favorite player to this.
You try and pull Jamie away to bring him to his celebrating team, but your brother pulls him into a hug, forcing you to let go of Jamie's hand. You watch Frank whisper something in his ear, before letting go. He then says out loud, "Congratulations on making the Champions League. Can't wait to see you guys play next season."
All Jamie can do is nod in gratitude, as he seems to still be processing what happened before that. You decide to thank him on your boyfriend's behalf.
"See you guys later!" You say to your family as you bring Jamie away from them, his expression slightly worrying you. Once you put a safe amount of distance between them, you whisper, "What did he say?"
"Nothing," Jamie pursed his lips. "Just that he'd make my life a living hell and find a way to ruin my career if I broke your heart." He laughs it off, but you can hear a slight shakiness in his voice.
"Alright then," you interlock your arms with Jamie's, but neither confirm nor deny the truth in his statement.
"That was a joke, right?" Jamie tries to ask but you just shrug. His face almost turns white, but you laugh and instead, he playfully narrows his eyes at you. "That's not funny."
"Well, I’m pretty sure you aren't going to break my heart, so you'll never have to find out. You plant a kiss on his cheek and remove yourself from him. “Now go, celebrate your win!"
You push him to the rest of his teammates, who are in the middle of celebrating, but he's quick to grab your arm and pull you close. "I know how I want to celebrate this win." He moves in for yet another kiss.
You briefly wonder if this is being televised and if it might be how all your friends and family back home find out, but you'd deal with that later. Right now, it's just you and Jamie.
And you've always wanted that celebratory field kiss.

crazy in love, dina woodward
— dina woodward x black!reader
Tumblr media
synopsis: dina as a gf whose literally infatuated with you.
c/n: pretty suggestive, but mostly just fluff!
a/n: was so excited to finally write smth for my bby dina I love her sm!!!
Tumblr media
☆゚— gf!dina who loves physical touch and quality time. she loves just laying next to you and admiring all of the features on your face while caressing your face with a big smile on hers.
☆゚— gf!dina who helps you get ready when you guys are going out anywhere, like on a date.
“baby can you help me please?” you ask her while struggling to put on your earrings because you two were kinda late. “was waiting for you to ask me.” she giggles and quickly helps you put your earrings on. “you look beautiful..” she says as she stares at you through the vanity mirror, she adores her gf so much.
☆゚— gf!dina who lovessssss kissing you to wake you up, kissing you before bed, and kissing you even when you’re wide awake and focused on something.
“are you done yettttt?..” she whines, she’s been trying to get your attention for awhile but you were too busy doing whatever you were doing. “almost done baby..just give me like five more minutes.” you say to her but she no longer wanted to wait and just started kissing all over your face which made you two erupt into laughter. “hey stop! that tickles! diiii get off of meeee!!!” “try to stop me then!”
☆゚— gf!dina who loves playing with your hair. she loves playing with your braids, your twists, locs, etc. she oils your scalp for you and even learned how to do cornrows for you anytime you felt like wearing a wig. she’s always ready and willing to do something for her girl.
☆゚— gf!dina who rewatches your story every single time you post yourself. she just be cheesin at her damn phone, watchin her gf look good. ( she don’t even care abt the music startin over, it doesn’t even bother her. all she cares about is her beautiful gf on the screen. )
“dina it’s been ten minutes take ts off now.” “ok fine one more time…OUUUUU look at my baby! I gotta watch it again just hold on.” “DINAAAAAA!!”
☆゚— gf!dina who sets you as her lock and home screen wallpaper so EVERYBODY and I mean EVERYBODYYYYY knows that you’re her girl and if they don’t get it by then, then they’ll be sure to know by the way she CONSTANTLY brings you up in every single conversation she has with anybody even if it has nothing to do with what they’re talking about.
“so I’ve been deciding on whether I should surprise my-” “omg my girlfriend loves surprises!” “???..what?..”
☆゚— gf!dina who loves baking and cooking with you. you guys made cinnamon rolls one time and all you two cared about was just the smell of cinnamon and love in the air. the faint noise of summer walker playing in the back from the tv and you two laughing.
“yk what this icing reminds me of baby?” “dina you are absolutely insane…” “OH COME ON!” “YOU ARE A NASTY NASTYYYY WOMAN DINA.” “you love me though.” “shut up.”
☆゚— gf!dina who gets jealous when she feels as if someone is gettin a little bit too friendly with you…if they compliment you on your hair in a way she thinks was flirting, she’ll take matters into her own hands and start mean muggin them, palming your ass, grabbin your waist..she would do anything to make it known that you were hers.
☆゚— gf!dina who I personally believe is a switch, she loves taking control most of the time but when you’re in control? GODDDDDD THAT WOMAN TURNS FERAL. she turns into putty in your hands, like she’s literally in love with you. you can just touch her in the slightest and she’ll already have goosebumps trailing up her skin.
☆゚— gf!dina who has you as her gorgeous passenger princess. she keeps her hand rested on your thigh or when at a red light, takes it as a chance to just admire you and take in your beautiful features once again. ( sometimes she doesn’t even realize the light is green and snaps out of it once she hears the loud honk of another driver behind you two. 😭😭 )

Can you do Welt during white day?? I loved your valentine's one, but how would he repay his partner?? :3
This was a good reminder for me cuz I was gonna do it so thank you Anon 🫡
Gn and older reader!
Also maybe a little surprise perhaps at the end 👀 (it’s another hc but you get it)
Welt Yang white day hcs
Tumblr media
Since Welt promised to return the favor, he made sure to have everything prepared for a right moment (and a big surprise).
Welt treated reader with gifts he knew they’d like, knowing them well enough over the years (anything of your choice obviously).
He got them a bunch of flowers which were a Rose, Forget-Me-Not, Camellia, Sunflower, and a Alstroemeria (Welt got one of each).
Welt even made a small chocolate cake for his lover and if they didn’t like sweets, he always had a back up just in case (ex: spicy chocolate. Idk if sour chocolate exist so I’m sorry to the sour lovers out there).
Welt even made a small plush of himself for his lover if they ever miss him while out on a Trailblazer Expedition <3 (totally not based from a Sirin & Reader fic I read on Wattpad that had Welt having implied feelings for reader in it I think).
He also did reservations at a restaurant, but if his lover didn’t want to eat out, he was totally fine with it! He’ll make something back at the Express for reader since he enjoys cooking for them.
Then when it almost hits midnight, Welt goes on one knee, grabbing a small box from his pocket as he opens it, showing a ruby ring.
“Will you marry me, Rakkaani?”
Welt knows he was probably late (very) to pull out the ring but he finally had a chance to do so.
Both him and his now fiancé agreed that once they find a way back to Earth, they’ll get married.
But the tricky part is, does his fiancé want to go by “Yang” or “Nokianvirtanen” when it gets close to their wedding day…?
Ruby: symbolize love and passion
Rose: Signifying passion, desire, and the deepest feelings of adoration for someone
Forget-Me-Not: symbolize true love
Camellia: symbolize love, affection, and admiration
Sunflower: symbolize adoration, happiness, loyalty, and longevity
Alstroemeria: represents a strong bond with a loved one as well as prosperity.
Rakkaani (Finish): my love
I hope you’re satisfied with this and if there’s any actual Finish speakers, please correct me on that! :)
