Reread the ladue chapter for the first time in over half a year, & it's certainly got me feeling Some kind of way
I'd been expecting to be embarrassed by it bc it's old writing, but I genuinely enjoyed it. I think I did a good job with it, overall.
#speculation nation#ladue shit#there r a few things i noticed as old stylistic stuff i dont do anymore#i still gravitate towards generous paragraph breaks but ive been working on their structuring#trying to group things more concretely. rather than doing paragraph breaks at the slightest new thought#so yea i can tell it's old-ish but it still holds up. and Man. it sure has some emotions#the idea for chapter 2 was to have things branch out more. showing goro's life separate from akira#making inferences to akira's life outside of goro. since this is a goro-only pov fic#and sumi!!! sumi will be there. oh no i will have to learn how to write sumi oh no#like Hell yea for sumi but also learning to write characters is so intimidating hdkshfks#but i planned for her to be in the First Scene of chapter 2 & i still wanna stick to that plan#gotta dust out the cobwebs of my brain. remember my plans. i literally dont have any notes for this lmfao#the plans exist in memories & my conversations with andi. i might go searching for details later. see if theres anything ive forgotten#i remember my overall plan tho. i should really create a concrete outline. ah yes outlining. smth ppl normally do with writing lmao#man tho chapter 1 is just so sweet. akira u have the patience of a saint. he will be Supremely rewarded for it lol
