I like this scene because when I was writing it I was thinking about how fun everything would be once Alberu joins the party ahaha

This poor guy will not only have to deal with Regressor Cale, but Regressor Choi Han AND Kim Roksoo. Those three will never let the opportunity to tease Alberu slip by. Also I find this one scene really funny because Alberu is absolutely thinking to himself ‘what the hell was that’ when he made eye contact with Cale, the young master of the Henituse family who is famous for his brutal honesty and words, is smiling at him in a way that reminded Alberu too much of himself.

Realistically, there should be no way the young master knows anything about him, not when they had only exchanged a few greetings in passing. Sure, the Henituse county was rich, but they had no reason to dig for information on him unless he provoked them. So why did it feel like Cale Henituse knew something very important about him?

I know a lot of times you’re really not supposed to think too much about it, but it always bugs me in those fae stories that have gotten popular in recent years when they have traditional monarchies similar to human monarchies

With a species that is functionally immortal how can you have a system of government where you hand down rulership from parent to child upon the death of the parent? With humans death is inevitable but if you only die when you are actively killed, then the heir would be waiting for hundreds if not thousands of years to get power and their parent being killed by some crazy accident or another person

You can’t tell me these guys are power hungry rulers while actively having ambitious heirs they are grooming for the throne because that kid 100% is going to kill their parent to get the throne eventually

And hey, build that into the society! An heir isn’t fit to rule until they are smart enough or strong enough to kill their parent for power, that would make an interesting book

But don’t just do the whole “I am the lord of the Spring court like my father before me and my son one day” when you are centuries old and hand your power down through death because that makes me think there have been at best like 4 generations of rulers this entire time

ok but. as much as i love nghy and nagisa, i think he’s kind of dumb (relationship-wise). like, in sukiuso, he says “you’ll always be a heroine”, and all but says that he always found her cute

but then in kimikawaii, he’s going on about how cute hiyori had become, and that he’s not the one who made her become cute, which. y’know, is kinda odd, considering how he always found her cute, to the point of scaring her off from wearing cute clothes when he lied that her skirt didn’t suit her.

and. y’know. when he visited for the very expensive ft4 concert, she dressed up for him. sure, she had help from lxl, and she pretty much did it just to prove him wrong about his past words, but. y’know. she did it for him. he is the one who made hiyori want to become cuter.

so. nagisa. wouldn’t you say that hiyori had decided to become even cuter by herself for you? i really think he just played himself with this one, guys (unless the kimikawaii mv proves me wrong, of course). but till then, i’m gonna find the humour in nagisa asking “who was the one who made you become this cute?” only for the answer to be himself.
