honestly replaying sdr2 i whole heartedly believe we were robbed of a pekoyama/souda comedy dynamic. souda accuses peko of murder 4 separate times up to ch2 and he was RIGHT and pekoyama doesn't even convincingly deny him in both chapters shes just like "well. ok what about it"

#lowkey i think these two could have an interesting potential character dynamic #and im sad that kodaka staples souda to his 'trio' and peko is sacrificed for kuzuryuu #like!!! as much as i like kuzuryuus redemption. he sbould not have lived past ch2 #plus the plan is so. contrived as well #like itd make far more sense for kuzuryuu to have murdered and then peko set up the scene to fudge the vote #kuzuryuus redemption lasts all of the beginning of ch3 and then nothing else significant with him #which makes sense since like. he was originally intended to die in ch3 as well #but honestly. you could have had kuzuryuus redemption condensed into ch2 and peko would then have a chance #to actually have MORE to her character outside of being stapled to kuzuryuu #straight up. you have a dynamic where someone thinks she doesnt deserve to be loved and the other person says they are worthy of love #and you kill the first person??? get tf out of here with that #anyways -brings out intricate character chart #- parallels about loyalty lack of self worth applying yourself unhealthily to tey and be worthy of others #souda and peko actually do have a fair amount of parallels and im surprised no ones ever talked about them #then again people are trying to be 'woke' abt souda nowdays so they auto hate him and peko is once again stapled to kuzuryuu
