“Whaa...” Kou groaned in pain, hand reaching out to try to massage away the sharp headache he had. Eyes squinted against the bright light of the room, not quite processing what’s going on just yet. Ow, ow, there’s pink in his vision... ow, oh, that’s Mitsuba...?

“Uhhh...” It took a few minutes, along with Mitsuba yelling at him, to figure out what the spirit was saying. “Think... it was pool cleaning day... and...”

The memories slowly caught up, and his face reddened. “Uh--don’t remember--!”

There’s absolutely no way he was gonna admit that he slipped on the edge and hit his head when he fell. That’s just embarrassing!

Mitsuba is just going to pop out of the Mirror behind Kou. "What are you doing here, Traffic-piercing? Don't tell me you missed me so much that you had to come visits~?" It'd be genuine if not for the snark and sass, though Mitsuba truly would be happy if he had come to visit him...

“I don’t have to be lonely to visit you if I want to.” A huff, frowning at the ghost. So what if he was a bit lonely?? Mitsuba doesn’t have to know! “Besides! Isn’t it lonely in there? Someone’s gotta keep you company!”

When the manor finally was allowed in the kitchen, the would find a feast made solely for them, most of it being sea food. Oden, Pork Miso Stew, Seafood Pizza, Eggrolls (vegetable and shrimp), rice balls with plum and shrimp and a large hot pot. Desserts were also made, Crepes, chocolate oden, oden cake, and brownies. “Alright everyone, eat ya yer hearts content, nano ja~!”

“Um, you’re our guest, so we should be cooking for you, not the other way around…”

“Don’t worry about it, must be her grandma instincts. Let’s just go ahead and eat.” 

“Though I would appreciate being asked for permission about this first. We have a schedule for a reason.”

Ignore Kon, she’s already busy stuffing her face with tasty seafood.
