We've had some pretty rough patches lately, me and this kid. It's definitely true what people say about the days being long, but the years are oh so short. I can't believe what a little person he is becoming. And despite some REALLY LONG DAYS lately, this morning I was reminded why I took the leap 2 years ago and decided to be a work from home mom. That moment when you look at one of your kids and they all of a sudden seem to have grown up overnight. Ok, not overnight, but they were definitely a baby. Like yesterday. {How does this happen?! 😢} // I've been missing my Dad a lot the past few days, and tonight, as I was thinking that, Nina yelled to me and said, "Hey mommy! You should come look at Andrew. He looks just like Poppy right now!" ❤️ {I took this pic yesterday and it's one of the first things I noticed - how much he looks like my Dad here.} And on those days when I'm really missing him, I look at Andrew and the way his eyes always seem to be saying something and it's like my Dad is telling me everything is ok. Nina has always wanted a piñata, so we we surprised her with one for her birthday this year. And somehow, we avoided a trip to the ER. 😁 Andrew + Nina + plastic bats + sequin blindfold headband thing on Ryan's head + piñata = someone almost got a black eye.
