Some thoughts on yesterday...

- There are some lovely folks here and I'm very lucky to have crossed paths with them.

- Sometimes I do take things "too" seriously, but please bear in mind that I'm autistic. It's literally the first thing in my bio. Taking things seriously is just the way I'm wired, and I'm not going to apologise for that.

- I know my writing isn't the best, but I do this for fun. I've been saying since the beginning that I do this for fun. I have a very stressful day job actually, and I'm generally quite lonely in day to day life right now, so let me just write my silly little stories of people falling in love, would you.

- I considered not posting so much here for a while, but honestly I need the routine and motivation of tracking my progress, so. Once again, if you don't want to see these things, please blacklist the tags 'life with lola' 'camp nanowrimo' and potentially 'soldier poet king series'.

- All creators deserve respect. So many amazing people have told me times they've had similar insults thrown at them, and it infuriates me. If you don't like something, that's fine. But be respectful, be courteous, and keep your damn fool opinions to yourself.

- It will never not be funny to me that doublegoblin sometimes reads my posts in the voice of Matt Berry because I'm british, that's so dang funny and I can't stop laughing about it.

- I need coffee.

Know you have someone who is proud of what you've accomplished and who loves you, probably plenty of people because you're so awesome that it's probably inevitable, but at least one. Another day will come and You'll see the rain out of the window and feel the sunshine and smell the petrichor and fresh grass and feel the satisfaction of resting after hard work and feel the breeze on your skin and find beauty in little things, laughter, clothes swaying on a clothesline or leaves curling shriveling leaves like dying curses at the sky, or a soft sunset, or the breath of a cat as it lies on its side, a dog happy to see you, the grin of a person who catches sight of you like you're one of the best things in their life. There will always be hope and you will always be loved and I hope you find it soon and that you find it plenty.

Camp NaNoWriMo Starts on Saturday!!

First of all, I'm going to apologise. A lot of folks now here were not present for my foray into the April Camp, and so you should be warned: I'm about to be really irritating.

If you're not interested in watching my slow descent into madness, I suggest you mute the tags "Camp NaNoWriMo" and "Life With Lola" to avoid it.

Let me tell you, I was battling DEMONS in April. It was rollercoaster of "ahhhh this is so much fun!!" to "whyyyyyy is this so hard??" to "best idea everrrrrr!!!" to "I am a hack, put me in the bin with the rest of the rubbish."

I cried a lot. I had the same 6 songs on repeat for all 31 days. I was burned out to hell and back by week two. I was a WRECK.

I've since gone back through all the posts from April and deleted them, like picking up after a house party that was lots of fun, but also your favourite vase got broken, someone puked on the carpet, someone else DEFINITELY tried to smoke your Fatsia Japonica after mistaking it for a very different star-shaped leaf, and there was possibly a fight because is that blood on the sofa...? Oh look, a tooth. Also, your neighbours aren't talking to you.

Anyway. That's all! Mute, unfollow, whatever you need to do to curate your online experience, I won't judge :)
