Optimizing Financial Management with Chiropractic Billing Services
In the healthcare sector, chiropractic care plays a vital role in managing musculoskeletal conditions, improving mobility, and enhancing patients' overall quality of life. However, managing the financial aspects of a chiropractic practice can be challenging due to the unique nature of treatments, frequent patient visits, and varying insurance policies. This is where medical billing services come into play, ensuring that chiropractic practices can focus on providing care while their financial operations run smoothly. These services streamline the billing process, minimize errors, and enhance reimbursement rates, which ultimately leads to better revenue management for chiropractic practices.
What Are Chiropractic Billing Services?
Chiropractic billing services are specialized financial solutions designed to meet the unique needs of chiropractic practices. These services are a critical component of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) services, which oversee the entire process of patient billing, from claim submission to final payment. Chiropractic billing services handle everything from insurance verification and coding of chiropractic adjustments to following up on claims and managing denials. Since chiropractic care often involves ongoing treatments and multiple patient visits, these billing services ensure that claims are submitted accurately and promptly, reducing delays and maximizing revenue.
The Importance of Medical Billing and Coding in Chiropractic Care
Accurate medical billing and coding is essential for chiropractic practices to ensure that they are compensated for the services they provide. Chiropractic care involves various treatments, such as spinal adjustments, physical therapy, and other therapeutic services, each of which requires precise coding to avoid errors. Incorrect or incomplete coding can lead to claim denials or underpayments, which can negatively affect a practice’s cash flow. By partnering with experienced billing professionals who specialize in medical billing and coding, chiropractic practices can ensure that their claims are submitted correctly and in compliance with industry standards, leading to improved financial outcomes.
Benefits of Healthcare IT in Chiropractic Billing
In the digital age, Healthcare IT has transformed the way billing services are managed, offering numerous benefits for chiropractic practices. Advanced billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems streamline the billing process by automating tasks such as claim submission, coding, and patient record management. Healthcare IT reduces human error, speeds up payment cycles, and allows for better communication between chiropractic providers and insurance companies. Additionally, real-time tracking and reporting features enable chiropractic practices to monitor the status of claims and payments, ensuring that revenue is managed efficiently. Healthcare IT enhances both the accuracy and efficiency of chiropractic billing, leading to improved practice operations.
Chiropractic Billing Services at Mediclaim Management
Mediclaim Management offers specialized Chiropractic Billing Services designed to meet the needs of chiropractic practices. With a deep understanding of the unique challenges that chiropractors face, their team of billing experts ensures that all aspects of the billing process are handled with precision and care. Mediclaim Management’s Chiropractic Billing Services help providers reduce billing errors, increase claim approval rates, and expedite reimbursements. By partnering with Mediclaim Management, chiropractic practices can focus on delivering high-quality care to their patients while ensuring that their financial operations run smoothly in the background.
With Mediclaim Management’s Chiropractic Billing Services, chiropractic providers can optimize their revenue cycle, reduce financial stress, and ensure that their practice remains financially healthy. This allows chiropractors to focus on what truly matters—improving the health and well-being of their patients.

Sinners | Pride
summary: leah had a good game, you show her how proud of her you are
warnings: SMUT 18+, soft sex, too much talk of cabbages…
a/n: the final part of this silly little smutty series, hope you enjoyed !
word count: 1.4k
Lust | Gluttony | Envy | Sloth | Greed | Wrath
-
You’re barely through the hotel room door before Leah is tossing her keys on the dresser like they’ve personally offended her. It’s one of those tiny hotel rooms where you can practically wee while brushing your teeth, and somehow the décor manages to look both clinical and like someone’s grandmother’s living room at the same time. You’re trying to figure out how that’s possible when Leah lets out a dramatic sigh.
“Today was a day,” she says, flopping onto the bed like she’s auditioning for a life insurance advert.
“You were brilliant,” you say, but it comes out flat, like you’re just trying to move the conversation along so you can get to the part where you finally make her feel good. The truth is, she really was brilliant. Like, once-in-a-lifetime brilliant. But the moment feels too small for that much sincerity, so you settle for plopping down beside her and patting her thigh like she’s a good dog.
“Yeah, well,” she says, staring at the ceiling like it’s going to give her all the answers to life. “I’m exhausted”
You turn to look at her, trying to read her expression. She looks tired, sure, but also like she’s carrying the weight of the world on those very capable shoulders of hers. You think about saying something profound, but then you remember you’re you, and instead, you blurt out, “Did you know you talk in your sleep?”
She blinks, turning her head to look at you. “What?”
“Yeah,” you say, as if this is the most normal thing to bring up after an award-winning performance. “Last night, you mumbled something about… cabbages?”
She laughs, the sound catching you off guard. “Cabbages? Really?”
“Yep. It was riveting. You were really passionate about it, too. I was half-expecting you to wake up and start giving a TED talk on the virtues of leafy greens”
She rolls her eyes, but there’s a small smile tugging at her lips now, and you feel like you’ve won some kind of prize.
“And you didn’t wake me up? What if I had important cabbage-related things to say?”
“I’m sure they were life-changing,” you say, “But honestly, you were so cute, I didn’t have the heart”
“Cute,” she repeats, like it’s a foreign word. “I just played ninety minutes of some of the best football of my career and you’re calling me cute?”
“Hey,” you shrug, “I can multi-task. Appreciate your talent and your cuteness all at once. It’s a gift”
She raises an eyebrow. “And what exactly is your plan for this so-called ‘gift’?”
You smirk, leaning in closer, your lips brushing her ear as you whisper, “I’m going to show you just how proud I am of you. And if you’re lucky, I might even throw in a lecture on the superiority of cabbages”
Leah snorts, but you can feel the way her body tenses under your touch, anticipation thrumming just beneath the surface. “You’re ridiculous”
“And yet, here you are, fully consenting to be seduced by said ridiculous person”
“Fully consenting?” She repeats, amusement dancing in her eyes. “That’s some confidence you’ve got there”
“I prefer to call it optimism,” you say, sliding a hand up her thigh, fingers brushing the waistband of her joggers. “But call it whatever you want. Just as long as you let me take care of you”
She doesn’t say anything, just watches you with that intense stare of hers that always makes you feel like she’s stripping away every defense you’ve ever had. It’s unnerving, but also hot as hell, and you’re about three seconds away from ripping her clothes off just to make the feeling stop.
But you don’t. Because this isn’t about you. Not tonight.
“Let me,” you murmur, your hand already slipping beneath her waistband, fingers brushing against her bare skin. “I want to”
Leah sighs, and it’s the kind of sigh that says she’s giving in, but she’s going to pretend like she’s doing you a favor. “Fine. But if this is some kind of elaborate ruse to get out of listening to my cabbage TED talk, I’m going to be really disappointed”
“I promise,” you say, leaning in to kiss her neck, “No vegetables”
She laughs, and it’s the best sound you’ve heard all day. You take that as a win, pulling back just enough to slide her sweatpants down, leaving her in nothing but that damn sports bra that’s seen better days.
“You really should get a new one of these,” you say, fingers tracing the edge of the fabric. “It’s practically a relic at this point”
“Are you seriously going to critique my sports bra right now?”
“I’m just saying,” you murmur, kissing your way down her stomach, “It deserves to be retired. Maybe hung in a museum”
Leah opens her mouth to respond, but whatever sarcastic retort she had dies on her lips as your mouth finds her hip bone, teeth grazing the skin there. You feel her shiver beneath you, and you smile against her skin.
“Relax,” you say, your voice low, soothing. “Let me take care of you”
Leah’s hands find your hair, her fingers threading through it as she pulls you closer. “You talk too much”
“Maybe,” you say, your mouth moving lower, “But I’m really good at other things”
“Prove it”
You smirk, because that’s exactly what you plan to do. You take your time, kissing your way down her body, hands roaming, exploring every inch of her like it’s the first time. Leah’s breath catches when you reach the spot between her legs, and you can feel her anticipation like a tangible thing, thick and heavy in the air.
“You’re beautiful, you know that?” you murmur, your breath hot against her skin.
“Shut up,” she mutters, but there’s no heat in her words, just a soft, almost embarrassed laugh.
“Make me,” you counter, and before she can come up with a witty retort, you dip your head down, your tongue slipping between her folds, tasting her for the first time tonight.
Leah’s response is immediate, a sharp intake of breath, her hands tightening in your hair as she arches off the bed. You don’t let up, your tongue teasing her, tasting her, taking in every soft sigh and quiet moan that escapes her lips.
You keep your movements slow, deliberate, teasing her just enough to keep her on edge, but not enough to push her over. She’s trembling beneath you now, her body tense with anticipation, and you know she’s close, so close, but you’re not done yet.
“Please,” she breathes, and it’s the closest thing to begging you’ve ever heard from her.
“Please, what?” you ask, your voice muffled against her.
“Just… please”
You could make her say it, make her beg properly, but you’re not that cruel. Instead, you give her what she wants, what she needs, your tongue moving faster, more insistent, until she’s gasping, her body shaking with the force of her orgasm.
You don’t stop until she’s pulling you away, her breath coming in ragged gasps, her body spent and trembling. When you finally pull back, she’s staring at you with something that looks suspiciously like awe, and you can’t help but feel a swell of pride in your chest.
“Good?” you ask, because you need to hear it.
“Good?” she repeats, her voice hoarse. “I told you you’re ridiculous”
“Ridiculously good, you mean”
Leah just shakes her head, a small smile playing on her lips. “Get up here”
You oblige, crawling up the bed to lay beside her, your arms wrapping around her as she buries her face in your neck. For a moment, there’s nothing but the sound of your breathing, the feel of her body pressed against yours, and you think this might be your favorite moment of the day.
“Thanks,” she murmurs after a while, her voice muffled against your skin.
“Anytime,” you reply, kissing the top of her head. “I’m so proud of you, Leah. You were amazing today”
She doesn’t say anything, just snuggles closer, her hand resting on your chest as she drifts off to sleep, safe and warm in your arms.
You lay there for a while, listening to the sound of her breathing, feeling the rise and fall of her chest against yours. And just before you drift off to sleep, you can’t help but whisper, “I really hope you dream about cabbages again”
Leah doesn’t respond, but you like to think that if she was awake, she would’ve laughed.

No you don't understand. Reigen does not commit tax fraud or insurance fraud. He doesn't actually have psychic powers, not even a little, or empath powers or what you have it. His family are regular ass people with regular ass jobs and frankly, so is Arataka, a young, self-employed guy living pay-check to pay-check because that's what most people starting out self-employed do. He spends most of the day at work and then gets take-out not because he's bringing college-student energy to the table, but because that's what the average single and fresh member of the japanese work force does. Because holding on to friends at that age is hard enough without existential-crisis-induced self-loathing.
It is so, so important to me that Reigen is the most statistically average twenty something japanese man there is. He's literally just a guy. A perfectly average middle schooler who liked to slack off and forgot his lunch that one time and wanted to be someone one day, when he was filled with youthful optimism, before life got complicated, before he realized he was just another fish in a really, really big ocean with a LOT of other fishes. One perfectly average fish among thousands of other, average fishes that become perfectly average members of society.
#mp100#reigen arataka#mob psycho 100#this isn't a front against people who like to give reigen a little bit of spice in fics#i like those too#but it is so so important to me that reigen is the most normal guy around#his skills are a patchwork of half-assed skills and long-dead-hobbies and youtube tutorials#because that's just what it's like#mp100 meta

Planets in the 8th house
I know a lot of you may don’t really like this house but trust me it’s more lovely than it seems and as with any other house it has it’s ups and downs. Now let’s understand what it’s up with this house, first it’s where Scorpio and Pluto rules, also as a side note Mars feels pretty comfortable here as well, in traditional astrology Mars was the ruler of Scorpio. It dives deep into subjects such as intimacy, sex, secrets, fears, death, rebirth, shared money and possession. It’s the house of transformation and occult, deep psychology inside as well. It’s also a pretty karmic house. Here is how each planet behaves in the house.
The Sun: an individual with the Sun in the 8th house seeks deep, intimate relationships but may face challenges as they tend to give excessively. They might experience ups and downs due to others' casual approach to relationships. Healing often involves addressing a father's emotional impact and seeking fulfilment through connections. The path to growth lies in balancing self-reliance with meaningful, committed partnerships, allowing for personal shine and transformation through shared resources. A curiosity for mysticism and the occult converges with a aspiration for financial stability, potentially influenced by inheritance.
The Moon: drives a deep desire for security, sometimes leading to seeking it through others' resources. This can evoke self-doubt, possessiveness, and psychic sensitivity. Transformative partnerships or marriages might bring financial gain. They approach relationships seriously, often overextending, leading to turmoil; finding balance through self-sufficiency brings happiness. Sensitive to unspoken nuances, they find peace by releasing expectations, channelling probing curiosity into worldly understanding, seeking connection through intimate relationships and a quest for broader meaning. Gains or inheritances linked to women are common, yet a sense of connection remains elusive.
Mercury: in the 8th House gifts you with analytical powers, suited for research, detective work, and understanding complex matters like taxes or insurance. Your inquisitive nature drives you to unravel the depths of life's mysteries, though this may lead to concerns over finances and a tendency to gossip. Your mind dwells on profound subjects like death, healing, and psychic phenomena. Mercury's presence here offers a valuable perspective, helping you discuss and process intense emotions, easing the pain associated with this house. It enhances rational clarity within the realm of misunderstood emotions, serving as a valve for emotional release and facilitating conscious understanding.
Venus: in the 8th House grants you access to material comforts and potential prosperity, often through a partner's contributions or inheritance. While you enjoy sensual pleasures, be mindful of avoiding overindulgence or laziness. Your attraction to healing, metaphysical pursuits, and magic might thrive. This placement bestows a harmonious touch to intimate connections, making give-and-take feel natural, appreciating the sensual without burdening the relationship. Challenges, such as losses and responsibilities, are handled with understanding, adding a sense of kindness to your relationships.
Mars: in the 8th House fuels your drive for research, uncovering secrets, and intense pursuits, but challenges arise as desires clash with the give-and-take nature of relationships. Financial issues, possibly through a partner, highlight the need to diminish money's importance. Struggles may emerge in sharing resources and emotions within partnerships, causing emotional outbursts. Learning to channel Mars' willpower constructively, alongside exploring healing or surgery interests, can lead to personal growth despite these challenges. Understanding and managing the intensity of your desires and their impact on relationships becomes key.
Jupiter: in the 8th House blesses you with optimism and faith in humanity. Financial gains through partnerships, marriage, or inheritance are possible. Your strong emotional depth can be harnessed for psychic abilities, enabling you to bring upliftment and healing to others. Jupiter's presence in this house facilitates an effortless give-and-take dynamic, aided by your universal outlook, allowing you to avoid getting entangled in overly emotional relationship issues. Your emphasis on genuine, giving connections attracts reciprocal generosity.
Saturn: in the 8th House endows you with diligent work ethic and patience, yet your pursuit of financial security might lead to self-imposed social and sexual restrictions. Transform this drive into soul growth via wisdom gained through partnership relationships. Issues around abuse, power, and past hurts may arise. Challenges involving inheritances, shared finances, and intimacy emerge due to Saturn's hesitance to let go. This position can make relationships tough, leading to commitment issues. Overcoming Saturn's grip fosters eventual happiness and harmony, teaching valuable lessons of release and trust.
Uranus: with this placement, your intuition and psychic senses are heightened, drawing you to the mysteries of life and the occult. Nervous tension may arise, and unexpected gains or losses in shared resources are possible. Balancing your need for freedom with emotional connection is key, as Uranus' resistance to commitment can challenge relationships. Remember to stay open to intimacy while navigating life's uncertainties.
Neptune: in the 8th House enhances your intuition and empathy, but it's important to set clear boundaries to avoid relationship challenges. Embrace healing and afterlife interests while ensuring honesty in financial matters. Remember to balance selflessness with self-care, fostering healthier and more fulfilling connections. Your compassionate nature is a strength in navigating these dynamics.
Pluto: In the 8th House, your intuition and business sense thrive, drawing you to metaphysical realms. While inheritance and clairvoyant potential shine, be cautious of financial complexities in partnerships. Transformative experiences spark a fascination with life's mysteries. Pluto's influence urges open communication to ease power struggles, offering healing through release and growth. Embrace vulnerability for stronger, more compassionate relationships.

The Witch Queen - she of the Endless Night Shift, our lady of instant coffee, the keeper of the Book of Hastily Written IOUs - knew the end was nigh.
There were various clues and omens that had led her to this conclusion:
The neon lights of her favourite late-night chicken shop had started blinking at her in morse code.
The advertising screens at bus stops had started showing her an endless parade of life insurance offers.
And she had begun to see the pattern of her own skeleton in the river, drawn out in bones of the long-abandoned shopping trolleys that emerged at low tide.
But out of all of the signs, it was the fact that someone or something had set her squat on fire that really clinched it.
Worse still - none of her wards had been triggered, which meant that whatever had done this was some combination of exceptionally powerful, terrifyingly well prepared, or lucky to the point of being *fated*.
Thus, when the firefighters finally reached her, she knew that it was already too late. She knew, too, that any countercharms, dispellings, or general magical wrigglings that she attempted would only put her would-be rescuers in danger from her killer’s inevitable redundancies.
So she simply smiled weakly as she was carried from the wreck of charred drywall, melted optimism and grubby failed anarchism (it was a squat, after all) and drew wobbly runes of blessing on the firefighters’ uniforms in ash.
And when they placed an oxygen mask over her face, she breathed out instead of in and whispered a spell with the last crisped croak of her voice to trap in place her last breath.
---
When they pulled *me* out of the fire, meanwhile, I lay there flopped like an upended plate of overcooked noodles until the firefighter gently placed the oxygen mask around my mouth and I slowly returned to reality.
I say ‘slowly’ here, not because it was taking me a while to recover from the smoke inhalation (although that was true too). No, I say ‘slowly returned to reality’ because on my first gasp pulled from the tank - the same tank into which the Witch Queen had stitched her last breath - *reality* was for sure not my first destination.
I experienced, at once, the birth and death of the planet. I felt my bones form out of stone and timber as the first cities rose. I was carried to oblivion as I tasted the first mildly toxic mushroom that someone ate *on purpose*. I heard the creak of bones of thousands of years of soul-calcifying labour; unrecognised, unthanked, utterly expected.
And I knew with all certainty that I had just become this city’s new Witch Prince/Princess.
Let me tell you: it was weird as hell, but after the agony of cinders and smoke ripping through my lungs? It was a real breath of fresh heir.

Medical stuff I wish cisgender people knew
Medical transition does not make someone a man or a woman. A trans woman is a woman, and a trans man is a man, regardless of what medical treatment they have or have not had. Medical treatment just makes life a hell of a lot easier for a lot of people
It is not true that 40% of trans people commit suicide. The infamous 40% statistic refers specifically to rates of suicide attempts which occur before transition. Most of these attempts fail and the person survives.
Transition vastly reduces risk of suicide attempts from 40% down to around the national average, while dramatically improving mental health, social functionality, and quality of life for those who need it.
Being trans is not classified as a mental illness by either the American Psychological Association or the World Health Organization. Gender dysphoria (in the DSM) or incongruence (in the ICD) is recognized by both as a medical condition, and transition is the only treatment recognized as effective and appropriate medical response to this condition
When able to transition young, with access to appropriate medical care, and spared abuse and discrimination, trans people are as psychologically healthy as the general public
Transition-related medical treatment is not new or experimental; it has existed for over a century
Transition-related medical care is recognized as necessary, frequently life saving medical treatment by every major US and world medical authority
Transition is the only treatment for dysphoria that has proven to be effective. Attempts to "cure" trans people, alleviating dysphoria by changing the patient victims' gender identity to match their appearance at birth (aka "conversion therapy" or "gender identity change efforts"), are such utterly worthless and actively destructive train wrecks that this "therapy" is condemned as pseudo-scientific abuse by all major medical authorities
Transition is a very individual process; not everyone needs or wants the same things
"Regret" rates among trans surgical patients are vanishingly rare, consistently found to be about 1% and falling. This 1% includes people who are very happy they transitioned, and often are still glad they got reconstructive surgery, but regret only that medical error or shitty luck led to sub-optimal surgical results. That's a risk in any medical treatment, and a success rate of about 99% is astonishingly good. And only about 6% of trans people have had reconstructive surgery, so rates of surgical regret among trans people as a whole are about 0.06%.
Transition "regret" is vanishingly rare. Of everyone who starts even the preliminary steps of transition, like trying a new name or pronouns socially, only about 0.4% eventually realize it is not right for them (see p108-111). Most realize this soon after starting transition, when physical changes are minimal or nonexistent. Many do not regret exploring transition as an option, even if ultimately it wasn't what they needed.
Hormone therapy is pretty cheap, is generally the first line of treatment most trans people get, and dramatically impacts one's appearance
Most trans people socially transition long before they get reconstructive genital surgery, if they ever get it at all. Not everyone needs or wants surgery, and even those who do need it are often unable to afford it. Genital surgery for trans women costs tens of thousands of dollars out of pocket. Surgery for trans men can cost between tens of thousands to over $100k, depending on the procedure one is getting.
25 US states currently have laws prohibiting health insurance companies from having "trans exclusion" policies, where they categorically refuse to cover medically necessary transition-related treatment. This means that a small but growing number of people are able to get treatment, including surgery, covered by insurance
When a child or adolescent transitions that does not mean they are being rushed into irreversible surgery
Transition for predolescent children is 100% social; changing hair, clothes, name, pronouns, and/or the gender they are recognized as by their family and community. No medical treatment is necessary or provided before the start of puberty
The first line of medical care for trans adolescence is puberty-delaying treatment. It is gentle, fully reversible, and has been used for decades to delay puberty in kids who would otherwise have started it too young. It does nothing but buy time, and has no long term effects
Transition-related hormone supplements do not cause serious long term health problems
Reconstructive genital surgery for both trans women and trans men can provide excellent results

I'll be posting this here too. It's basically me asking for money and explaining why. If you don't wanna read it, I understand.
Cw for... Family drama and suicide ideation mentions, I guess.
Hi!
I don't feel 100% comfortable doing this, but I got a big debt and I'm self-employed so I don't know how I'll be able to pay it.
My mom has schizoaffective disorder, and has been admitted to a rehabilitation center for drug addicts since last year. It was not the best option, but we don't have a lot of alternatives where I live (Mexico's south). I was against this, but my mom was going through a really bad episode, so my uncle (who's living abroad)!arranged her admission, saying he would pay for all the expenses.
Well, it's been a year, and my uncle hasn't paid anything. I know he's being going through A Lot (his wife got cancer, he had an accident in his job, plus life as an illegal immigrant is hard), so every time he told me he would "sort it out next month", I belived him (while I've been paying from my mom's meds and basic needs stuff). Until recently, one of my cousins finally told me that my uncle seems to be going through a psychotic breakdown, how his optimism is borderline delusional, and that he's also doing drugs.
So, here I am, trying to figure out how to cover this debt while struggling to get a stable job while struggling with the ADHD+Autism+C-PTSD combo breaker.
The initial debt was 102,000 MXN (5,151.05 USD). Negotiating with the clinic, I managed to lower it to $87,960 MXN. I already gave them what I had available + my mom's government assistance money (with her permission, since she really wants to get out of that place... and I found my grandma and one of my mom's sisters have been spending her assistance money, but that's another can of worms I don't have the energy to address) and I'm trying to see who in my family can help me, but it's still a lot of money, with the debt increasing each passing month.
I'm a bit desperate. I even considered committing suicide and make it look like an accident to leave her with the insurance money. I would offer commissions of something in exchange but I've been in an awful mental place and I'm like. Not able to write.
So, as much as I hate to ask for help since I feel there's people that need it more, and I know we're all struggling™, but I would appreciate any contribution to get out of this sinkhole. I would offer commissions of something in exchange but I've been in an awful mental place and I'm like. Not able to write.
I'm accepting any help via Ko-fi
Thank you for reading all this.

I’m so interested in closing the gap between starry-eyed Optimism and glowing-eyed rhetoric about the beauty and grace of the world and the actual practical dreary disappointing insurance paperwork dentist appointment workout regimen experience of daily life.
#like there’s gotta be a middle ground for the expression of the truth of both of those realities#actually you know what teaching is exactly that for me

Inazuma Eleven OC!
I saw a post about how, instead of creating self inserts for the purpose of shipping them with a canon character, one could also make a self insert for the purpose of having them kill a canon character- So I felt inspired to create an Inazuma Eleven OC based on that.

[ID: Conservative thought is often said to focus on the idea of individualism; self-help, self-support, self-sufficiency, self-respect. It rejects dependence, ‘scrounging, collectivism, the belief that ‘the world owes you a living’. Yet in practice the unit of self-support is not the individual but the family. In Britain no one nowadays thinks that children, as long as they are being trained or educated, should support themselves. Conservatives think that husbands should support their wives and children and that disabled or old people should be able to turn to their kin for help before they seek help from charity or from the state. Indeed, it has tended to be conservatives who have wished to extend the range of kin among whom mutual aid could be expected and progressives who have made more and more people eligible for public assistance. This is a boundary that has been contested and shifted many times in the last century and a half. At present, officially speaking, only children under sixteen who live with a parent and wives who live with a husband can have no rights to the basic non-insured state social security payments. And still it is conservatives who resist the socialist demand for an adequate child benefit and reject the feminist demand that husband and wife should have independent rights to social security.
Many of the catch-phrases of conservative politics — individual choice in education or in health-care, freedom of choice for consumers, owner-occupation — thus mask a defense of paternal as against social responsibility and authority. For it is not children who choose their education but their parents who ‘choose’ to give them what education they can afford with the father’s income. And so it is with health insurance, with housing and with household consumption. People’s standard of living is not determined by their own income but by that of the household they live in and how its income is shared among its members.
In this context children, and to some extent wives, are mere extensions of men. Their needs are defined for them by the head of the family and as part of his needs. A man should not merely be self-supporting but should take care of his dependants as well. He should be expected to be able to earn enough to keep ‘a family.’ Indeed when a wage is said to be so low that it is below the poverty line what is meant is that it is below the level of social security benefit for a family of two adults and two children, not that the worker himself could not live on it. This idea of the family wage for men is deeply embedded in conservative thought. In part, this is because it helps maintain men’s privilege and authority. But it is also because the conflation of the individual and the family is absolutely necessary to sustain the conservative economic fantasy. This is a fantasy of an economy in which the actions of self-seeking ‘economic men’ add up, through the ‘unseen hand’ of the market mechanism to an optimal pattern of production and consumption. In it, each member is motivated by self-interest to contribute to the wants of others. In order to elevate the morality of the market into an entire social ethic, it is necessary to ignore all those members of society who do not themselves enter the market. For most of them this is done by the sleight of hand of subsuming them as members of families into the individuality of their head of household. He can then be assumed to be an economic agent, complete with income, expenditure, consumer preferences, indifference curves and marginal propensities to all sorts of economic activity. So it becomes possible to believe that the whole economy is organized on the liberal-individualist model of the free market, with everything working in order to support themselves, because those who cannot earn a living are subsumed under those who can.
The confusion of individual and family in conservative thought reflects a close association between the two in everyday life. It is an association that has many pernicious effects. The most marked of these is that children are a private possession. Though they are to join society and be its future members, they are produced by and for their parents. Parents decide how many to have, when to have them and they try to determine how to bring them up. Often they become extensions of their parent’s personalities or a compensation for failings in their lives. end ID]

By optimizing and improving the patient experience before, during, and following surgery, Pristyn Care is leading the charge to transform surgical care in India. Pristyn Care is a full-stack healthcare solutions provider that is committed to making every patient's experience as easy and stress-free as possible. Their team of specialists is dedicated to providing complete support, from the first consultation to the recuperation phase following surgery. Pristyn healthcare highlights the need to follow competent medical advice since it understands the critical role that planning and knowledgeable direction play in the success of rehabilitation. This method makes surgery both effective and safe by protecting patients from potential complications and expediting the healing process.
Section 1: Preparing for Surgery
A successful surgical procedure can be a life-changing experience, so being well-prepared is essential. Preoperative consultations are extremely important to Pristyn Care because they lay the groundwork for establishing precise expectations and getting patients ready for surgery. These sessions guarantee that patients comprehend the recuperation process, are well-informed about the procedure, and are psychologically prepared for the necessary actions.
Individuals must inform their healthcare professionals honestly about any current medications or pre-existing medical issues during these conversations. The experts at Pristyn Care carefully examine each patient's medical history to customize the surgical plan to meet their unique requirements, thereby lowering the likelihood of complications following surgery. This individualized approach aids in the creation of a unique recovery plan in addition to optimizing the surgical technique. Through proactive management of these factors, Pristyn Care guarantees that every patient is surgically ready, improving operation safety and efficacy while reducing the risk of unanticipated consequences.
Section 2: Understanding Your Surgery
A healthy recovery depends on you being aware of the details of your surgical treatment. Pristyn Care makes certain that every patient is given a thorough explanation of the surgery, including the methods that will be employed, the anticipated length of the treatment, and the recuperation period. Patients' nervousness before surgery is reduced by this transparency, which aids in their physical and emotional preparation. Pristyn Care reviews frequently emphasize how this thorough explanation demystifies the procedure gives patients a sense of control and reduces their anxiety about the impending surgery.
Gaining knowledge about the surgery process also facilitates healing. Patients can actively engage in their recovery by following post-operative instructions more thoroughly and managing their expectations regarding recovery durations and potential pain management better when they are aware of what to expect at every stage of the process. Positive comments and evaluations endorsing Pristyn Care's extensive educational initiatives attest to the fact that this well-informed approach facilitates quicker recovery and adds to overall patient happiness.
Section 3: Day of Surgery Tips
Without enough planning, the day before surgery can be stressful. Patients are given a list of necessary goods by Pristyn Care to make sure they are comfortable and prepared. This contains essential paperwork like identification, health records, and insurance documents in addition to personal belongings like toiletries, a change of clothes, and a favorite book or entertainment gadget that can make the stay easier. On the day of surgery, these simple preparations can greatly improve comfort and lower stress levels.
Furthermore, following dietary recommendations before surgery is essential for a safe treatment. Before surgery, Pristyn Care provides patients with advice on fasting or particular dietary requirements that must be met. This frequently entails giving up food and liquids for a predetermined amount of time before the procedure to avoid issues like aspiration while under anesthesia. Patient reviews frequently comment on how useful and clear these dietary instructions were, and how they prevented any issues before surgery. Adhering to these guidelines not only guarantees safety throughout the procedure but also facilitates a more seamless and trouble-free recuperation, thereby strengthening Pristyn Care's dedication to both patient care and safety.
Section 4: At-Home Post-Surgery Care
Optimal healing following surgery depends on how well you handle your at-home recuperation. Comprehensive post-surgery care guidelines, particularly about wound treatment, are provided by Pristyn Care. Patients receive instructions on wound care, including methods for cleaning and treating wounds that reduce the chance of infection. It's critical to recognize infection symptoms, which include increased redness, swelling, warmth, and discharge. To guarantee prompt medical attention if certain symptoms arise, patients are informed about them.
Following the suggested prescription schedule is equally crucial. Pristyn Care stresses how important it is to take all prescriptions exactly as prescribed, especially antibiotics and analgesics. Effective pain management after surgery promotes comfort and movement, both of which are critical for healing. Pristyn Healthcare's care instructions are highly praised in reviews because they provide a thorough explanation of each drug's purpose and clarify each stage of the treatment regimen, improving patient compliance and recovery outcomes.
Section 5: Rehabilitation and Physical Activity
Rehab and physical activity are essential components of post-operative recovery. Personalized rehabilitation plans are created by Pristyn Care, outlining the kinds of activities that are helpful and those that should be avoided during the early stages of recovery. Light exercise, such as walking or mild stretching, is usually recommended for patients as it improves blood circulation and helps avoid problems like blood clots.
To promote flexibility, strengthen the muscles surrounding the surgical site, and ease the return to regular activities, physical therapy is frequently advised. Working with physiotherapists who specialize in post-surgical recovery is part of Pristyn Care's approach to making sure that exercises are properly completed and customized to each patient's needs and progress. The quality of life after surgery is improved and recovery times are greatly shortened when skilled physical therapists are involved. Positive evaluations frequently emphasize how adhering to Pristyn Care's structured physical activity standards has resulted in fewer issues and faster recovery times, demonstrating the efficacy of their rehabilitation plans.
Section 6: Nutrition and Hydration
Adequate nutrition and hydration are essential for successful postoperative recovery. According to Pristyn Care, a balanced diet full of proteins, vitamins, and minerals is crucial for the immune system and tissue regeneration. Pristyn Care reviews recommend that patients eat meals high in protein, such as lean meats, fish, eggs, dairy, nuts, and legumes, along with fruits and vegetables that supply essential vitamins and antioxidants. Drinking lots of water to stay hydrated promotes nutrient distribution and cellular health, both of which contribute to the healing process.
Additionally, Pristyn Healthcare reviews advise staying away from processed foods, high-fat goods, and excessive carbohydrates as these might irritate tissues and impede healing. Pristyn Healthcare reviews often highlight these useful dietary recommendations, which greatly shorten healing times and increase safety. Following these guidelines, as noted in Pristyn Care reviews, ensures a more effective and safer recovery.
In summary
You'll recover from surgery more quickly and safely if you heed the professional counsel of Pristyn Care. Please contact Pristyn Healthcare if you have any questions or concerns about any issues that may arise after surgery. At every step of the journey, their committed team will offer assistance and direction. I think it'd be so out of left field for someone like carlos to believe in superstitions and whatnot but i also somehow wouldn't put it past him that he has some knowledge there given how he's grown up surrounded by women in his life that do believe in those kind of stuff, made him learn about his aura, and him remembering that it's emerald green (which i believe his comment was just satirical but it could make you wonder what else he knows) and also in season 1 when he tells michelle that she'd probably be as well off going to a curandera as a cop and michelle being like a witch? that's your advice for me then him telling her my tia Lucy sees one and continued telling her about the true story of the curandera telling his aunt about buying homeowners insurance. so i think carlos does know about astrology and stuff but not necessarily a believer i guess?
It also feels to me like he’s too practical to really buy into those kinds of things but he clearly knows about them from people in his family so maybe there is a little secret part of him that wants those things to be true even if he’s not positive he believes they are. I feel like a lot of Carlos’s character is sort of this dichotomy between his optimism and his pragmatism.
