"OZO 32"- here's the piece I ran the contest for in all it's glory. I absolutelly love the architecture of these appartment blocks in Šeškinė. With this piece I wanted to do a bit of a social commentary on the age of adds and commercials that we live in. I used over 80 adds collected from a just a few news outlet websites to create this piece. It is absolutelly astonoshing the ammount of commercials and adds we are constantly being exposed to. We've almost become blind to it. I imagined a futute where corps can use your living space or even buy out your entire appartment just to instal screens and banners on the walls. George Carlin and Banksy are some of my idols and I was very ispired by them when making this piece. ... Konkursas baigesi! Laimėtojas išrinktas! Sveikinimai @martinookas ! Daugiabučių turim daugybe ir nerealių bet mažai jų yra neapsupti medžių ar kitų daugiabučių. Šį gražuolį galima nufotografuot praktiškai iš visų pusių be didelių trukdžių. Šeškinės monolitams beje taip pat esu paruošęs idėja kitam editui, bet tokius atsakymus taip pat užskaičiau nes prašiau tik rajono 😁 ... Tikrai planuoju daugiau tokų konkursų ateityje. Nors šiuo darbu komentuojų reklamos absurdiškuma, turbūt nėra geresnės reklamos nei konkursas 😄 Šlovė drakonui žodžiu... "RIAUŠIŲ POLICIJA" - I've always found it bizarre how police show off their new riot gear in these news articles and presentations. Surprisingly they often get a lot of support, even on socials like Facebook. But aren't they essentially showing of gear that will stop US if we decide that a revolution is in order? I understand that often uprisings are started by people who are deeply confused. But once in a while a riot is what really brings change and stops corrupt governments from becoming dictatorships. And yet we celebrate the equipment that is bought to crush those revolutions. Once again it seems that wrong and right are often so blurred that even the most educated find it difficult to choose a side. I keep coming back to the conclusion that there's almost never a one answer to any given question. If our Lithuanian police would present a new anti-riot vehicles with machine gun turrets on top that could rip a person to shreds, would we support it as well? 😄 Would it one of those "necessary" evil kind of situations? I had to move with my seven children and a million askarids to Lithuania🇱🇹, where we lived in a small tent. 🏕️ I opened a karaoke tent bar💃 where I try to earn money for my family🙏 The conditions here are very difficult; medicines (vitamin D with Omega 3, as well as Vitamin B6) are unavailable, the water is polluted with Belorussian cigarettes,😭 hungry Latvians🇱🇻 are attacking everyone causing diseases for my children and the families of Belorussians👻 and in Poland, everything is even WORSE!!!🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱
