Type Zero and V&AÂ âGeniusâ Video
side note: Iâm still trying to find another website besides YouTube to upload any SM Ent. related videos (MVâs/Performances) because YouTube keeps partially blocking them when I upload the videos (like what happened with the MVâs for â90s Loveâ and âWork Itâ). For now I can only do âGeniusâ and MAYBE the dance practice videos for any SM related songs. Iâve had all of these videos done and subbed with LGC musesâ parts since the set list was posted but Iâve literally been fighting YouTube this whole time with âOne (Monster and Infinity)â and the âResonanceâ performance video. I promise that once iâm able to find another site to upload these videos, I will post them here but for now weâll have to do without.. ;;

when i watched the third season of future dreams, i was anticipating the popular members to debut under type zero, but who thought it was a good idea to include these other three members? i didnât even know this nathan person was a trainee at legacy until he was announced that he was going to be in type zero. isa was supposed to be in that one band, but here he is debuting as an idol? and minjun was some stand-in member during type zeroâs kick it promos? come on, legacy. why did you do this when you had so many trainees participating in the show? type zero already made their name months ago and for them to add these three is not only messy but unprofessional too! ugh, iâm going to stop supporting them after all of this.
[ + / - ] youâre probably upset because your bias didnât make it to type zero. ă
ă
ă
i think all three of them deserve to debut! theyâve shown their worth through their appearances in future dreams and in prior works. but since youâre not supporting them anymore, goodbye~ we donât need people like you! [ + / - ] i know, right??? i agree with you, op!!! when i saw who was in type zero, i was confused why nathan and minjun were there and even more so when they released that poster about isa being in the group?? all of them arenât outstanding performers either so i donât get legacyâs logic behind all of this⊠[ + / - ] legacy probably did this to gain some attention to type zero and future dreams. ă
ă
ă
no offense to the future dream fans, but i thought the third season was sooooo boring that having this twist made me curious of the groupâs future. letâs hope this strategy of theirs will benefit their album sales. ă

âź WORKSHOP PREP âź
Having prepped for this workshop with both his twin sister and his friend, Tee felt like he was well prepared for the mock interview and for once he would be able to go into a workshop feeling confident and prepared. Of course, thereâs always a chance things could go wrong and his Korean was still not the greatest so he knew better than to feel too confident and kept an open mind about how it would go.
Entering the practice room, Tee was greeted by his trainer and was impressed by the set up of the room. The usually bare room was now set up to look like an interview and Teeâs confidence was suddenly starting to disappear. He was thankful that there were no cameras as they made him uncomfortable and awkward so he could at least relax a little.
The trainer thanked him for coming and explained how the workshop would work. He nodded as he listened. Of course, still struggling with the Korean language, Tee wasnât able to understand everything but he understood enough to get an idea of how it would work. The workshop was a welcome break from their usual practice and a chance for him to learn how to correctly conduct an interview.
How would you describe your family?
This question was fairly standard and one that he would be happy to answer. His family were the most important thing to Tee. He smiled softly as he answered. â My family? I guess I would describe my family as a happy and loving family. Though my parents divorced when my sister and I were young. I grew up living with my mother and twin sister, Arin. Sheâs also a trainee at Legacy. â He smiled proudly. Tee was incredibly protective of his sister and proud of her. â We have an older half brother, Isa, who is about to debut in Type Zero. â Again, Tee was proud. His older brother was about to debut and both the Pongsak twins were excited and proud of Isa. â Weâre a close family and I miss my mum daily but sheâs encouraging of Arin and I following our dreams. â
Would you call your upbringing âconventionalâ?
This question was a little harder for him to answer. What is classed as conventional and unconventional? Tee wasnât quite sure how to explain his childhood in this sense. â Um, Iâm not actually sure. â He paused. â If I think about it, my childhood was mostly conventional. However, my family does have a few uncommon things. For example, Isa is our half brother. We have the same father but different mothers. Iâm not exactly sure what happened to pâIsaâs parents and I canât remember how dad met mum but thatâs the biggest difference in our family. My parents did divorce when I was young and pâIsa moved to live with dad. That was hard on Arin and I but we made do. Other than that, our childhood was fairly normal. â
Out of all of your memories, which stands out most clearly?
Tee thought for a brief time and a few memories jumped out in his mind. â There are a few memories that stand out to me. When pâIsa left along with dad, it was hard. I was very close with my brother and idolised him so when he left I felt, uh, lost. Is that the right word? â He smiled. â Finding him again is another strong memory for me. PâIsa is the reason I auditioned for Legacy and the only reason why I did was so I could be with him again. â He paused, his expression dropping. â The last memory is leaving Thailand to move to Korea. That was the hardest thing Iâve ever done. Arin was the reason why I almost didnât get on the plane but her support and encouragement got me through the hard times until she arrived. â

@lgcisa and eunji are going on a date!
the little green light lit up on the only camera filming her. she had one hand on her seat belt and the other in her lap. she pressed her lips together, eyes wide, and nodded.    she looked out the window and watched the scenery pass. then, naturally, she turned to the camera.    âiâm supposed to be meeting someone soon. i donât know who it is yet, but, iâm really excited!â she beamed.    all of the comments about her from the last date lottery were cute, kind, and abundantly praiseful. the excited reaction people had to her dates, how she grabbed luccas and shared with isa, had her rolling with giddiness on her bed.    she wanted that feeling again, to be praised, to be loved, to have masses of online people telling her how wonderful she is constantly. she wanted that adoration again.    they had already been driving for a while. eunji was told the cameras would begin rolling right before they got to their location. seamlessly, when she stopped speaking about her excitement about the date to the camera, the car rolled to a halt. it bounced- and they were there. before she unbuckled herself, the door slid open.    she reached for her seat belt, beamed at the camera, and turned to step outside the car.

â° Â track 021,
INTER-COMPANY COMPETITION ă
ĄÂ I WAIT ( ì ì )
Something heavier. Something with more anger. More feeling. Give him something that will make him feel alive again. And yet he found himself complacent in the midst of softer tunes, slowed down melodies. The energetic soul still thrived within him but another side sprouted from it. A new head to rest on its shoulders ă
Ą something to steady the untamed chaos.Â
The band trainees prepared for an unspecified amount of time for this day, unexpectedly. Initially, Seojin was under the impression they would only be performing for a small audience without the added pressure of playing for stakes. On top of that, they were meant to choose only one song to go up against the other bands with.Â
Although it was far from the hardcore songs he missed singing, he was satisfied with the track they came to an agreement on. It was up and down just enough to satiate Seojinâs need to give his all. A competitive spirit like his never rested. ( He wasnât so sure about his fellow subsidiary trainees. Did Charlie, Insoo and Isa hold the same sort of fire in their eyes that he did? He wouldnât bother asking lest he cause something he never meant to start. They all had their own positions to take care of, and their own reputations. )
They shuffled to their setup after the band from YG played their set. He gave them a nod of approval despite being thoroughly unimpressed. Again, he didnât want to end up saying something that he would regret. Be a good sport for once in this setting.Â
His fingers ran along the length of his new guitar. She was still unscathed, not worn from use like the one he used to have since he was 13 years old. Soon enough the shiny sunburst exterior of the Fender would start to fade and scuff marks would be concealed underneath stickers, duct tape and badly drawn scribbles with marker. He didnât mind. It was purchased with hard earned money. He had every right to make something his own.
âAh, ah. Hello.â Seojin pressed his lips against the mic to test how his voice would resonate in the room. Then, he placed the strap of his guitar around his form and grabbed it ă
Ą left-handed position. He liked standing out in that aspect.
As the song started, his eyes remained downcast, letting himself feel the beat before his lines came in for the chorus he would have to own.
I am tied to you Waiting in the same place Let me go or pull me closer
What could be interpreted as a song directed from the point of view of a jilted lover, Seojin dedicated it to himself. Specifically his personified sense of pride.
He ended up singing with far more passion than he originally intended, his eyes dead set on the faces of his opponents and judges. It was something fierce and determined.
Though, he chanted something to himself inside his head. Donât do something stupid to mess it up. Donât mess it up. Donât fuck it up.
Donât trap me inside walls Where I canât see, no If you wonât have me, then let me go
Nearing the end of the song, Seojin was presented with the chance to show off on the guitar. He shifted from the normal notes of the song and turned it into a makeshift, short riff that would match well with the tone. There was nothing wrong with subverting expectation.

‷ăhocus pocus.ă
July 12th, 2020.Â
Yonghwa was early as per usual. It was filming day for Hocus Pocus and truth to be told, he was more nervous than he should be considering this wasnât his first, second or even third music video. Itâs just that...this wasnât his project, wasnât his group. Who was he to stand beside long debuted and widely successful idols, participating in their project?Â
He would chew on his nails to take the edge off of stress, but he had just promised himself to ditch that nasty habit.Â
If I do poorly, his mind started wandering. Whatâs the worst thing that could happen?
Thankfully, before he could proceed too far down that rabbit hole, the other Legacy trainee showed up. @lgcisa looked calm, and that made Yonghwa relax. He was the type to adapt to the mood in the room, after all. âKang Yonghwa,â he introduced himself with a smile, extending his hand. âNice to meet you. Tsai Sunisa, right?â From what Yonghwa could recall, this was a trainee from the band path and that was why they havenât officially met before.Â

BATTLE OF KINGS â S2E5
w/ @lgcisa
it was honestly a bummer that he wasn't able to get isa on his show last season. they never train together and were not placed in the same dorm either which makes it a lot harder to hang out. now with isa moving with the band kids and king promoting his unit on top of project origin, it's a bit like they became strangers. battle of kings is the perfect opportunity to have a bit of fun as cousins in the middle of their hectic schedules. with or without the presence of cameras, the result would be the same.
he's happy to chat with him right before they're meant to go on air, but it doesn't last long and king has to go ahead and start off the episode, greeting the fans who are slowly joining the stream. when there's a good amount of people watching, it's safe to call isa in. "today's guest is the most special i've had so far. i know a lot of you guys might not have met my cousin, tsai sunisa! come on out, isa!" king claps as the other makes his entrance. "even if i could probably do it myself, i'll let you do your own introduction to the viewers," he says, and steps a little to the side to give isa all of the spotlight until he's done. "and now let's get started, shall we? you ready bro?"

â Interview Solo â Word Count: 1,373 words
Being able to actually film this whole documentary and experience all the cameras, even when she least expected them to really be there at certain times, was probably one of the top exciting things on Arinâs list to ever actually happen to her. The first would have to probably be when she flew to Korea to be with her brothers, but this definitely was high on her list as well. She remembered the moment when they were all told about the whole thing, remembered the excitement that she felt by just thinking about being noticed even if it were just for a little bit. She hoped that her mother would end up watching and see how well her children were doing, hoping that she wouldnât worry too much for them.
Some often thought of her as âchildishâ due to the way she acted, however, that was just Arinâs personality. She was outgoing and soft-spoken. She loved everyone equally no matter what, believing that everyone was good in their own way, that everyone deserved love in their lives. Arin was just the type of person who enjoyed making people smile and tried her best to put a little happiness in their lives when they needed a little âpick-me-upâ. So Arin canât help but wonder what the viewers would think of her, wondered if they would find her to be sweet, or rather criticize her for how she acted.
Arin sits in the chair, shaking all thoughts out of her head as she smiled and waited for the camera to turn on and the interviewer to begin speaking. It isnât until sheâs told to introduce herself that she finally bows politely and finally sits up straight before waving her hands at the camera and speaking. âHello, everyone!~ My name is Pongsak Arinya, but I usually just go by Arin!~ Iâm nineteen years old and currently have been a trainee for about one and a half years now.~â When she speaks, her aegyo clearly shows but she continues like always, not wanting to change who she is just because the camera is filming her.
âSo, Arin. What made you want to become a trainee and pursue the idol path?â
The first question sheâs asked makes her smile even more than she previously was, not even having to stop and think about how to answer. âWell, this may sound dumb, but originally I only came to Korea because of my brothers.~ Over time though I actually decided that I wanted to become an idol and found that I really like doing this.~ If I could go back in time, I would still choose to audition and become a trainee because, even though it can be challenging at times, I still really enjoy doing it and learning new things each and every day.~â
âHow did you feel when you first found out that you would be taking part in this documentary?â
She hums softly as she thinks for a moment, tapping her chin a bit as she does so. âWell... To be honest, I was slightly nervous at first. The idea of having cameras follow us around and filming made me wonder if I would mess up and make a fool out of myself really. Though, after the first couple of days, I began to hardly even notice them around and it became really just like a normal thing to see every day.~ I actually enjoy watching Netflix, a lot of my favorite shows are on it, so the idea of being a part of a documentary that will also be on the platform is pretty awesome!~â She gives a thumbs up at this and laughs a little bit.
âYou mentioned that you came to Korea because of your âbrothersâ. Would you say that they had an impact on your idol dream?â
Arin tilts her head slightly to the side as she thinks for a moment about how to answer this question. Did the two have an impact on her decision or was it just all her own? âHm... I would say âyesâ actually. If it werenât for at least one of them coming here, I would probably still be back in Thailand going to school with my friends and probably just sitting at home on the weekends watching my favorite anime shows. So really, Iâm glad that I was given a reason to step out of my comfort zone and audition to be a trainee. I honestly would have never thought about doing something like this, ever, so Iâm glad I did it! You see, Iâm the youngest of the family and for those who didnât know this, Iâm also Teeâs twin sister. We grew up together and are really close so when he left home to come here I felt, I guess you could say, âlostâ without him. I didnât know what to really do, who to turn to when I needed someone, and just felt like I was missing something in my life. So, in the end, I decided to fly out here and audition for Legacy in which I thankfully passed the auditions and got in. Basically, if it werenât for him and Isa, I wouldnât be here today.~â
âOn the topic of âschoolâ, we noticed that you arenât currently attending any universities. Do you plan on going to school or will you be focusing on your career in the future?â
Smiling at the idea of school, Arin remembers the time she spent back in Thailand with her friends at school, shaking the thoughts out of her head quickly though because she didnât want to dampen her mood right now and make herself homesick in the middle of all this. âActually I thought about it over the past few months, though after considering the pros and cons of it all, I decided to not do schooling. Not because I donât like school or anything, but because it would be difficult to do both school and training. I heard from others that it can be tiring at times and I really just want to focus on my training at the moment so I can better my skills and not stress myself out with that and also still learning Korean as well. All in all, I think this is whatâs best for me at the moment but maybe once Iâve managed to balance out my schedule I may attempt school again.~â
âThere was a moment during filming where you were scolded by one of the instructors. Would you maybe explain what happened and why it happened?â
Remembering that day of filming made Arinâs smile disappear for only a short moment as she stared blankly, finally snapping back to reality before smiling again and speaking in her usual upbeat tone. âThat day was probably one of my bad days really.â She laughs a bit nervously as she thinks about how the instructor had gotten onto her for messing up. âOur dance instructor had given us all a deadline, which happened to be that exact day of filming, to get the choreography down. We actually trained really hard each day leading up to the deadline, however, for some reason I just couldnât remember the moves that day. I guess it was because I was a little nervous about the cameras but also because I hadnât had very much sleep the night before.â Another nervous laugh escapes from her as she messes with a loose string on the sleeve of her sweater. âThankfully though we managed to pass the next week with no problems after that. The other girls helped me out a lot and for that, I am very thankful for them taking the time to do that for me. Iâll work even harder in the future to not disappoint anyone!~â
With that sheâs finished with her interview and gets up from her chair, bowing politely towards the filming staff and the interviewer, thanking them for their hard work before she exits the room. It isnât until she is out that she realizes just how nervous she actually had been through the whole thing, that is until she finally let out a heavy sigh of relief and felt as if the weight was being lifted off her shoulders.

âș   ââââ   .  .  .    â sooo ... got any ideas for this weird cute introduction that jiho wants us to do?â subin asks blankly, and itâs pretty obvious that the uncertainty is written on his expression - not to mention the lack of desire to do it at all. isa is on the same team as he is though, and though theyâve never really talked and therefore, never really gotten along doesnât really mean anything to subin. all he wants to do is finish this performance up and help jiho look good. for whatever thatâs worth.  â iâm okay with cute concepts, not cute intros. and before you try and tell me theyâre the same thing, i can assure you: they are not.â

âisa-hyung keeps singling me out!â nathan cries, feet lightly stamping with every enunciation. a pair of feathery earmuffs lay loosely around the rim of his neck, his hands gripping the two fluff-balls tightly as the youngest does his best attempts to calm the fuck down before resting his case.
âisa-hyung keeps accusing me, which i think is pretty suspicious!âwhy would he want everyone to suspect me if he wasnât the mafia?â he explains in a huff, shaky eyes desperately searching amongst his membersâ faces for acceptance and agreement. âhyungââ his attentionâs focused on the culprit in question now, who he glances with pleading eyes. âiâm telling you, iâm really not the mafia. really. you gotta believe me!â

@lgcisa is going on a date!
eunji not-so-patiently waited for her date to arrive. she worked hard on her outfit, but wondered if it was too little or too much. whenever she went to legacy, she would always wear her leggings and swim or workout shirts. she could not be caught without a ponytail in either. even at home, when she went to bed, when she woke up, her hair was up in a tight, high pony. granted, at home, she lost the workout attire for baggy sweaters and either no pants or sweat pants, but, here, on a date, everything was different. she wore a denim skirt, a fitting sweater, and her hair fell freely across either of her shoulders. in her hair, a pair of sunglasses on her forehead sat unused.    she went out and about around the city all the time, dressed in whatever she wanted, but now she knew that someone from legacy was going to see her like this. would it be a good shock? a bad shock? she pressed her lips together.    she stood uncomfortably shifting from one foot to the other by the big âgarden of morning calmâ sign. a cameraman filmed her the entire time, and the sound operator left a while ago. he must have been helping her date get his microphone on.    âah-â she quickly let her lips go. she forgot she was wearing lipstick. had she ruined it? her friend sarang did her makeup especially for this day. ruining it might just be the straw to break the anxious camelâs back.    she took a deep breath and looked around. she fixed the yellow sunglasses atop her head. she spotted someone. a man, and a camera crew following him, just like a crew followed her, started walking down the path. she stood straight up. with eyes the size of the sun, she looked at the cameraman with her.    âdo i look alright?â she asked. she got no response, just a camera in her face. she was left to her own devices. she turned towards whoever was coming, she still could not make out a face, and clasped her hands together in front of her. she waited patiently, though worriedly, for her date to see her.

if you only had to pick three traits to define yourself, what would they be?
tw: illness mentions
âOnly three, huh...?â Eyebrows furrow as Woosung thinks about the next question posed to him, biting down on his lip gently. Even though he knows itâs probably not the commenterâs intention, it still feels a bit like an ambush.
Depending on how he answers, he could either end up looking pigheaded or so humble that people wonât take him seriously.
âI... Well, first off, determined would be one. For as long as I can remember, Iâve always been pretty determined. Even before I was born, I was fighting the odds to make it out of my momâs body alive, thatâs how bad my heart condition was. And then as I was growing up, even through I was sick and my heart wasnât great, I still kept pushing through and trying to achieve my goals. I mean, that was part of the reason I wanted to be an idol after all.â He pauses and smiles. âEven though being an idol isnât my goal now, Iâm still fighting to become an actor thatâll entertain everyone and make my family proud. So yeah, Iâd definitely define myself as determined.â
âSecondly, well Iâd like to think that Iâm a kind person. Although talking about it feels like Iâm bragging or something. But I try to do good things for people, yâknow? If someone needs my help and itâs within my ability to help them, Iâll do whatever I can! Or if I can help them directly, Iâll do my best to help them in other ways, like researching stuff or sending them in the direction of people that are more knowledgeable in what theyâre doing.â Woosungâs ears are bright red and he rubs his neck in embarrassment. Speaking so highly of himself just didnât feel right, per se. He just doesnât feel worthy of his own words, but talking himself down too much would just give off a bad impression. â...Iâd like to define myself by my kindness. I hope Iâm a kind person, at least.â
âFinally.... ah, this is such a hard question! You really wanted to give my brain a workout, didnât you?â Woosung gives the camera mock pout before continuing on. âI suppose... optimistic, maybe? I mean, when I think about everything Iâve had to go through so far to get to where I am today, I canât help but see the future in a bright light. If I could get through all those surgeries and treatments, graduate high school with good grades even though I missed a lot of class then get into university and then become a trainee; what can I not do? Sure, there were lots of times where I doubted myself, but Iâm sure Iâll become an actor someday! And even if I donât... well, the future is fluid! Whatever happens, itâll work out, Iâll make sure of it! So you call me an optimist! Uwah, that was a tough question, but thanks for it!â
