drifting away w/ @lgcxmax
she sits at the table, hair in low pigtails. her stomach was growling, but she wanted to wait to eat until max had arrived. it was... interesting. she can't remember the last time they had had a meal by themselves, at least not after everything had happened. but this... well, this was business in a way. she still hadn't finalized her song for her performance, and with time ticking away, she did want perspective after all. what better way than over a meal and a casual conversation?
besides, max knew her well. plus, he'd be honest. he'd tell her if something didn't fit or if it was too bold. this was bigger than her just wanting to have a good time-- each performance was a chance to show the company she was ready, more so, to debut.
dark eyes finally spot him, and she offers a bright smile his way as well as wave, standing so she can give him a little bow when he appears closer. "hi, max. hope this table is okay." she says with a soft smile.

VARIETY WORKSHOP
- @lgcjunkyu
once they were told about the new workshops, hyuntae was pretty excited. he was happy to work on a new skill that could make him better in the future. for his future group. there was one person he was even more happy to get to be grouped up with again. junkyu.
"hey! what do you think we can expect?" he stated jogging over to his friend from across the room.
hyuntae wasn't someone who had any experience in variety. he had experience in acting, but not in the other workshops. even though he was usually more focused on his dancing and choreography, it wouldn't hurt to be better at variety.
"i'm actually nervous"

⸻ NO SWEAT.
“321, 322, 323, 324 -”
Byeongkwan finishes up his 14th push up - ignoring the unamused glances from other trainees - as he waits for his name to be called. One by one, the trainees are brought into the practice room to showcase their newfound workshop skills. BK, spent his few moments of pre-eval prep adhering to his new personal philosophy: Never let them see you sweat, unless you want them to.
‘Baek Byeongkwan, come in.’
He hums a response, bowing his head slightly before hopping back up to his feet. The staff member holds the door open for him with an expectant look while he jogs in place. “Just one minute - ” He watches her eyes furrow in confusion. What are you - ‘
The trainee rushes past her with a whoosh, sprinting inside and right past the panel of mentors and coaches. He peers into Jinseo's magic box, waiting for each of the modeling workshop trainees to choose from for their mock ad spot, and he goes right for the bottle of Pocari Sweat. He takes the bottle and shuffles his feet back into the center of the room, fanning out his t-shirt ( careful not to accidentally rip the name tag taped across his torso ). “Ah, I was just a little thirsty, hope it’s okay that I take this?”
The panel exchange glances with each other as one of the coaches signals for him to introduce himself. “Yes - I’m Baek Byeongkwan. Fourth-year trainee, rap focus. But today, I will be showcasing my model ski -” his voice cracks a bit and he clears his throat behind a closed fist. “Excuse me -”
He twists the cap off the water bottle and turns to the side, shoulders back and head at a slight angle, to take a long sip. He lets out a sigh of satisfaction, eyes drawn to the illustration on the bottle. “Refreshing. Oh - Ion water?” He nods, flashing the label in their direction. “Oh, wow how many electrolytes?! You know... this is just the hydration I need after a long workout - and before an important evaluation.” He gives a coy grin and polishes off another quarter of the bottle with a huge gulp. He takes a step towards the coach's table, flipping it with a flick of his wrist ( and a silent prayer that it lands perfectly ).
Yes! Those hours of bottle flipping practice paid off, and it lands squarely in front of one of the coaches with its label in full view. “Pocari Sweat,” he says, with a bit of a rhythm to his lilt, giving the ad jingle his own spin with a few beatbox sound effects. And cut! Feeling quite proud of himself, he starts to wander towards the door.
‘Byeongkwan-ssi -’
“Oh! Do I have to showcase my walk too, or - ? I could do a quick loop around the room, show off my good sides - ” Good sides, plural.
A coach promptly interrupts, ‘Actually - The item you choose should be at random...’
He raises a hand to prod at the back of his neck with a slight shrug. “Ah, really? I, uh, guess I just have really good luck to get the one I prepped for, huh?" Despite the obvious skepticism, there’s a round of light chuckles and a few shaking heads as the coaches take a moment to jot down notes on their evaluation sheets. ‘Why don’t you try it again,’ they instruct, gesturing to the box once more.
Byeongkwan heaves a deep sigh, dragging his feet back over to the box, this time covering his eyes as he feels around for another random object.
"Alright, so now I'll be doing a.... chicken commercial?"
Figures.

@lgcxmimi
being a mentor was interesting. to think he was younger than most of his- students? what did he even call them. regardless, the concept was wild to him. watching them go through the task he had assigned, max continued to watch as he sat cross legged in the back, watching them through the mirror with hawk eyes.
part of him was glad him and emi were comfortable at this point. otherwise having to look at his ex so intensely could have been.... awkward.
"mimi-yah," he calls out to her casually, not quite bothering with honorifics as he had a certain history with all of the trainees in his workshop. "you're slightly off in timing. focus more energy into your movement, engage your core muscles more to control your breath," he advises her mid-work out before letting his gaze drift across the others again as well.

HEAVEN. @lgcxsarang
This workshop was the best! Each time Seyoon looked up from his Japanese notes, he saw a lovely girl.
"Good morning, Sarang!" Seyoon greeted smoothly in Japanese. He was improving slowly but surely, and the basic phrases were beginning to feel natural on his tongue. "What a beautiful day we are having." He skipped to the window, humming as he opened it to let in some fresh air.
After his eventual debut, he probably won't have workshops like this anymore. He'd be stuck with the same few stinky men at all times and no longer have the opportunity to worship the ethereal beauty of the female trainees. Sure, guys were capable of being good-looking too, but women just hit differently.
Like, could he just debut with the girls? No? Fine, fine, he'll just really treasure this workshop opportunity then.
"Do you..." Seyoon searched his brain for the right words. Sarang was shy and he didn't want to scare her off. Therefore, he was trying to come up with a light, happy topic of discussion...in Japanese. "Want to see...um...stray cats...at my part-time...chicken job." In the end, he decided to just present her with his phone. After getting off work last night, he got surrounded by the strays in the area and snapped a couple of pictures. For strays, those felines were pretty damn photogenic.

「 ❀ 」 ━━ ˗ˏˋ TALKING TO THE MOON !
WORKSHOP EVALUATION: EMOTIVE SINGING !
Taeha steps into the practice room with a pensive expression. It's a bit unusual for the trainee that was hardly seen entering a room without a bright smile and a series of cheerful waves. Still, she greets each coach and staff member with a brief bow of her head before sliding onto a stool positioned in the center of the room.
While the trainee was no stranger to hefty schedules of preparation leading up to evaluations, she found that she spent most of her free time the past few weeks mulling over song selections, paying extra special attention during her acting lessons, and observing hours of drama content ( it counted as practice time in her book! ).
Finally, she settles on the theme of the moon and its many phases. Much like her lunar friend, she hopes to be able to gracefully transition between the too moods of the songs she's chosen, showing off the kind of versatility she's not sure she's had the chance to convey with just vocals alone. IU was an obvious choice for Taeha - being a fan of the OST queen, it was hard to settle on just two songs given her packed discography, but she hopes she is able to wow the coaches with her picks.
˗ˏˋ SONG SELECTION ! mood? ~ melancholy ➫ DEAR MOON
To Taeha, Dear Moon is a song that reflected the rare bouts of loneliness she had experienced in the past ( albeit much rarer now thanks to her tight-knit group of friends ). Lyrics that convey seeking comfort in the moon, beautiful and unreachable - reminiscent of many the many things in her life she's yearned for.
˗ˏˋ SONG SELECTION ! mood? ˗ˏˋ vibrant ➫ STRAWBERRY MOON
The heaviness she carried through Dear Moon begins to lift as a soft piano melody fills the air. She sits up in her seat, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips until it reaches her eyes that still glisten slightly from her previous performance. She rises to her feet, projecting her voice with a hopeful expression, smiling through the dreamlike lightness of Strawberry Moon.
The music begins to fade and Taeha turns her attention to the panel of coaches, eyebrows raised as if to ask if she had done well. "...Thank you for listening!" she adds with a bashful giggle, returning to her usual demeanor before the start of critiques.

♡・゚set the tone
with @lgchxneul ♡
being a mentor for the workshops was one of the more nerve wracking things she had done in a while, especially now that she had settled into idol life a bit ( she would hope so, after two years ) and other things that she usually did often didn't make her quite as nervous. but she was worried about how she would be able to convey her message to the people taking her workshop, whether they would understand what she was trying to say and whether they would like her.
but she decides that she would try earnestly and do her best, and that's all she could do, right? she thinks that if she's genuine then maybe it'll come through to others, which is kind of how she feels when she's singing as well.
so she had brought snacks to her one on one meeting with haneul, trying to pick a variety that she thought he would like so that they could talk comfortably. "for songs, i actually think there are a variety of different ones that would suit you." she says, nodding her head. "but i guess it depends on what kind of vibe you're going for, do you have anything in mind?"

moving the line w/ @lgchyejoo
in a bit of a way, jasper finds almost oddly amusing. his schedule was already packed to the brim-- he thinks he gets maybe 5 hours of sleep per night between everything, and yet, he doesn't think he'd have it any other way. a plethora of opportunities seemed to have fallen into his hands all at the same time. he'd be an idiot to just go and waste it, wouldn't he.
so he doesn't. instead, he moves to head into the practice room, casual clothes on his back-- a far cry from the usual neat combination people were probably used to seeing from the young, British male.
he knew he had a lot to work on. a lot of opportunities, yes, but even more so to improve upon. that's why he was glad to be in the workshop-- plus... it helped that it was hyejoo. she was about as talented as they came, and he tried to be hopeful it was a good thing he was working with her. it didn't mean he wasn't nervous though, sitting down and glancing at the notes he had prepared, waiting for her to arrive. he just hoped she liked the songs he had chosen-- but if she had something better, he'd definitely want to hear it.
when she does enter, he stands, offering a little bow of consideration as well as a soft smile her way. "ah, 'ello. hope you're doing well." he comments.

✰ … NO PAIN, NO GAIN. one bright idea after the next ( ft. @lgctaeha ).
bright-eyed and ready to take on the world from the moment he'd woken up that morning, misaki couldn't have ever imagined the days' timeline of events would lead him here, mouth stuffed to the brim with the spiciest ramyeon he'd had yet to try. all he hears is red, an unnaturally radioactive hue most people would have the common sense to steer clear from, but misaki was on a mission— no, they were on a mission.
the goal? emotional expression!
the younger could already feel the corners of his eyes beginning to well up with tears, a familiar tingling sensation tickling at the tip of his nose, but the harsh burn atop his lips and tongue drowned everything else out. geez, why did he mix in the whole packet?! not wanting anything to linger, misaki swallows the lump of noodles he'd been so confident he could handle in the name of experimentation, but little relief is felt— every desperate gasp for cooling air only makes the fires burn hotter, and for a moment, he forgets why they were doing this to begin with. "taeha, quick! play the music, i'm crying!" his voice is pitched, a mix of panic, excitement, and pain.
with a stuttering inhale, he readys himself to sing— only to cough violently. ok, maybe this plan was a bust . . .

slow dance, with @lgctee
the practice room was still empty and it was late at night, the lights were dimmed just the way he preferred and still, hyukjae could hear all his thoughts inside his head screaming at him. the previous days were just so insane, he couldn’t really believe that he decided to take a step and move forward with what he wanted as an artist. maybe the change of events in the past months was also an important factor in helping him make that decision instead of hiding behind what-ifs.
not even the screeching noise of the door opening behind was enough to make him turn. in fact, he knew who was coming in and he had been anticipating that encounter for quite some time, ever since tee debuted as an idol. he missed his dance partner and if he’d be fully honest, he would also admit he avoided him sometimes, ignoring the times he was at the company, finding excuses not to reply to his texts.
it was petty, it was childish - but hyukjae sometimes was jealous. if he wasn’t so broken sometimes, if he didn’t listen to external voices he would’ve reconnected with tee before that, before the company assigned him as his mentor.
turning around, still sitting on the floor, he opened one of his biggest smiles as he watched the older man close the door behind them. he missed him, a lot. and he wasn’t afraid anymore.
“hi, hyung.”

Workshop Plot Call
Hello, hello! So Tee is now the proud host of his own workshop (also welcome @lgchyuk, @lgceunwooo and @lgcasami) and so this is a plot call for that. I'm more than happy to have threads going with all three trainees. Let me explain a bit about Tee's mentor style and the workshop itself.
If the name doesn't give it away (bc he's not so creative), the workshop is dance focused. I'll include the blurb I used when I submitted the idea:
Dancing is Tee's entire image and his everything. It's his reason for living and the reason why he became a trainee in the first place and so to be able to share his knowledge, skills, and passion with others would be why he'd create this workshop. In his workshop, Tee would teach the trainees how to not only learn choreography easily, but also how to nail it and make it look perfect. He has seen lots of trainees spend hours sweating and stressing over not being able to learn the choreo or thinking they don't look right. Because of his dance background, Tee can pick up choreo easily (usually within an hour or two), and he spends a ridiculous amount of time on perfecting how it looks and on his movements. He would love to share his knowledge with the trainees and give them tips, tricks, and ideas on how they can learn and/or create choreo easily. He would teach them things he uses or learned like repeating small 30 second/1 minute sections on a loop, or what to think of when you're learning how to do a specific move. He really just wants to make things easier for the trainees and help them with their dancing.
So he'll be giving tips, tricks and other pointers in how to learn choreography easily and he'll teach the ways he learned when he first started dancing. As for his mentor style:
When it comes to dancing, Tee is very serious and everything needs to be perfect. However, he's not the type to be mean or overly strict. He'd be serious, encouraging, understanding, but also want things to look perfect so he'd focus on making sure the trainees nailed the choreo.
If you have any questions or other comments or concerns feel free to message me here or on twitter. If you'd like to plot do let me know too! Welcome again to the workshop and I apologise for Tee haha.

each of the mentors can post details about their workshops for all of the trainees to know in a separate post. if you have any questions related to the workshop that the mentor is teaching, please message the mentor mun!
IMPORTANT ( IC ) DETAILS ABOUT THE WORKSHOPS
whenever both the mentor and trainee(s) have free time in their schedules, they will meet up and have 2 hour workshops that will span across 2-3 months ( aka this term ), depending on the mentor’s schedule ( but most of the time these workshops are scheduled during SATURDAY and mentors are expected to schedule at least 6 workshop sessions ). these workshops can be categorized as one on one lessons ( so mentor + 1 trainee ) OR smaller group sessions ( mentor + 3-5 trainees ). smaller group sessions are used to let the mentor teach the theoretical and fundamentals of their workshop while one on one lessons are used to evaluate the trainee’s progress and see what needs to be worked on or focused in future lessons. all of these workshops will be done in one of the empty classrooms or practice rooms in the lgc building.
by the MIDPOINT of the workshop program, MENTORS will be having a meeting with JANG INSUNG ( for the male mentors ) or KWON SOYI ( for the female mentors / EUNHYE ) where they will be discussing each of the trainee’s performances at the beginning and present moment. in this meeting the mentors will be asked to be honest in their feedback because this feedback will aid the trainee coaches in deciding what the trainees need to work on ( individually and collectively ) and whether they are ready to debut in their desired path ( idol/actor/model ). by the end of this meeting, both the MENTORS and the COACHES will come to an agreement over a possible ‘final’ evaluation prompt that would determine whether the trainees have learned the skills and concepts assigned to them.
after this meeting, the MENTORS will announce to the TRAINEES about the final evaluation prompt and will be spending the remaining time preparing for that until the EVALUATION days ( scheduled sometime around MARCH ), when all of the MENTORS, JANG INSUNG, and KWON SOYI will watch every single performance and give their feedback and thoughts to the trainees.
seeing that this is the first time that we’ll be doing this, here are the final evaluations prompts ( either listed on the form OR decided based on the workshop’s description ):
COMMERCIAL ACTING FOR BEGINNERS: on the day of the evaluation, the trainee will be picking an object from jinseo’s “magic box” and each one has to act like they’re in a commercial for whichever item it is that they got from his box ( examples of items inside this box are: chicken, pizza, skincare, snacks, a bottle of pocari sweat, a bottle of elysium perfume, chips, the logo of a video game, a rubik’s cube, a bag of coffee beans, etc ).
YUSHIN’S R&T: RAP & THEORY: each trainee will be given a lyrics sheet prior to the evaluation day that they will have to memorize. the lyrics will be pertaining to songs that the trainee has never heard of ( these could either be lyrics or melodies created by the MENTOR or samples borrowed from the lgc creatives team, but ooc wise, the songs will have to be ones released before JANUARY 2022 ). on the day of the evaluation, trainees will listen to the first couple of seconds to the melodies of their respective song for the first time. then they’ll have to rap and/or sing their lyrics to the song.
ADAPTING TO VARIETY SHOWS: on the day of the evaluation, the trainee will pretend to be a part of weekly idol and asked to describe themselves in the most entertaining way possible ( a plus if you can get the mentors and/or coaches to laugh ). through the segment, they will introduce themselves and show off two talents not relating to singing/dancing/rapping within a 10 minute period.
HOW TO LEARN CHOREOGRAPHY EASILY AND NAIL IT: each trainee will be assigned a 1 minute song ( song can be determined by MENTOR and/or the TRAINEE mun and all must be different songs ) that they will have to create an original choreography to. on the day of the evaluation they must present the original choreography to the mentors and coaches.
( important note: whenever the evaluation prompt mentions “each trainee”, it’s in reference to the trainee that is taking that workshop. )
once the evaluation is done, the trainee will meet up with their coach ( KWON SOYI or JANG INSUNG ) to discuss their honest thoughts about the workshop, what lessons they’ve learned from the experience, and if there are any new skills or aspects that they would like to work on in the near future.
POINT REWARDS
as shown above, each of the workshops are given tier levels ( 1-3, 1 being the lowest and 3 being the highest ). this is determined based on the skills the mentors have chosen along with their notoriety and can be changed in the future depending on how many mentors and trainees sign up. for both the MENTOR and TRAINEE, the tier levels will also reflect the number of maximum points one can get for completing the task(s).
TIER 1 ( FOR JO EUNWOO, PARK HYUKJAE, PONGSAK TEE, TAKANASHI ASAMI ): completing one of the writing requirements listed below will earn you +10 POINTS IN THE SKILLS CHOSEN ( please refer to ‘skills gained in the workshop’ section to see which skill(s) you can put the points in ). since there are multiple writing prompt options for both the mentor and trainee, you can complete up to 3 WRITING PROMPTS. however, you can only do the writing prompt once ( for example, if you wanted to do a thread with another trainee, you can only do it once so the other two writing requirements will have to be about something else ). if you complete 2 of the writing requirements, you will earn +20 POINTS IN THE SKILLS CHOSEN OVERALL. similarly, if you complete the maximum ( 3 ) writing requirements, you will earn +30 POINTS IN THE SKILLS CHOSEN OVERALL ( please refer to ‘skills gained in the workshop’ section to see which skill(s) you can put the points in ).
TIER 2 ( FOR CHEN MAYLIN, KANG MINJUN, LEE YUSHIN, SUNG HANEUL, YOO HYUN ): completing one of the writing requirements listed below will earn you +15 POINTS IN THE SKILLS CHOSEN ( please refer to ‘skills gained in the workshop’ section to see which skill(s) you can put the points in ). since there are multiple writing prompt options for both the mentor and trainee, you can complete up to 3 WRITING PROMPTS. however, you can only do the writing prompt once ( for example, if you wanted to do a thread with another trainee, you can only do it once so the other two writing requirements will have to be about something else ). if you complete 2 of the writing requirements, you will earn +30 POINTS IN THE SKILLS CHOSEN OVERALL. similarly, if you complete the maximum ( 3 ) writing requirements, you will earn +45 POINTS IN THE SKILLS CHOSEN OVERALL ( please refer to ‘skills gained in the workshop’ section to see which skill(s) you can put the points in ).
TIER 3 ( FOR BAEK BYEONGKWAN, CHOI JUNKYU, HAN NOEUL, HAN ROWON, KANG YOOJOON, KURAMOTO MISAKI, KIM JINSEO, KIM SEYOON, KWON HYUNTAE, OH EUNHYE, PARK CHAEKYUNG ): completing one of the writing requirements listed below will earn you +20 POINTS IN THE SKILLS CHOSEN ( please refer to ‘skills gained in the workshop’ section to see which skill(s) you can put the points in ). since there are multiple writing prompt options for both the mentor and trainee, you can complete up to 3 WRITING PROMPTS. however, you can only do the writing prompt once ( for example, if you wanted to do a thread with another trainee, you can only do it once so the other two writing requirements will have to be about something else ). if you complete 2 of the writing requirements, you will earn +40 POINTS IN THE SKILLS CHOSEN OVERALL. similarly, if you complete the maximum ( 3 ) writing requirements, you will earn +60 POINTS IN THE SKILLS CHOSEN OVERALL ( please refer to ‘skills gained in the workshop’ section to see which skill(s) you can put the points in ).
just like some of the side events, completing none, some, or all of the requirements ooc wise can have some positive or negative consequences for your muse so it’s up to you whether the muse would participate ( except for mentors who are required to do it anyways ).
WRITING REQUIREMENTS
FOR TRAINEES
as a reminder, you just need to complete ONE requirement to receive the minimum number of points possible but can do a maximum of THREE to receive the maximum number of points.
write a 4 replies ( minimum 8 lines, two posts per mun ) thread with another trainee taking the same workshop as you about learning about the workshop or practicing on the assignment/evaluation.
write a 4 replies ( minimum 8 lines, two posts per mun ) thread with your assigned mentor about the workshops ( small group sessions/one on one lessons ). in this thread, it must mention at least one struggle that the trainee is having difficulty with regarding the workshop.

WORKSHOP OPPORTUNITY 002 ; SOLO
a one on one.
those were always a little nerve-wracking but sarang put on the bravest face and she could and bowed to her coach as she walked into the meeting room. she found her seat quickly after that, not speaking until her elder spoke first. there was a little small talk, maybe to get her comfortable? sarang felt it was easy enough to see she was small buddle of nerves.
what do you think are your strengths right now?
the first question wasn't hard to answer, it was something she knew right away but sarang did want to give a full answer.
"right now, i'd say my strength's strength's are dancing, rapping and performing. i've always been comfortable with rapping, i think it's the skill i think i struggle the least in. there is just something about rapping that comes natural to me and i feel comfortable in it. i would say i feel about the same when it comes to my dancing. there are some dance styles i would i like to improve on because you never know what concept's we'll get in the future and i want to be able to rise to any challenge but it's also a skill i feel confident in. and when it comes to performing, i think it's the time i feel most comfortable in my skin. normal face to face interaction's are a little harder but there's something about letting go on stage that i feel shines through when i perform."
the entire time she spoke, her face was focused on a little spot on the wall behind soyi, until she shifted her gaze to fully look at a face that gave away nothing.
what are three skills that you would like to work on in the next few months?
"the skill's i'd like to focus on in the next few months…i'd have to say, my singing, english skills and variety skills. singing is a fundamental, i don't know what parts i might get if i debut but i want to be able to do whatever i'm done to do with confidence. i think i've improved on the fundamental but i think i get weak when it comes to singing during a performance. i'm a little more unsure myself it's a roadblock i'd like to get past. the same applies to my skills at variety, i know that i would have to promote on tv and go on various shows. it's something people don't think of when it comes to being idols but i think it can be helpful. and my english, because it's such a universal language, you can connect to a lot of people, as idols that's something we'd have to do so i think it'd be helpful in the future."
that question had been easy to answer as well. her singing had improved a lot but she knew it needed more work. it was her main concern and focus, the other thing's were something she wanted to work overall, important but not as important as carrying a tune.
if given a chance, what types of gigs would you be interested in participating?
"i think it'd focus on acting and pod-casting. they're very different but i think they both fit different sides of my personality. in terms of a podcast, it's a way to connect with people but also has a degree of separation that i'd enjoy. i have a lot of interest, so it would be fun to talk about those with someone or do a review of a tv series! i think it could go a lot of ways and there are a lot of thing's you could do with that format. as for acting, not only am i studying that in school currently, it's almost like performing for me. if i couldn't be on stage as singer, i'd like to be in a drama. the feeling of being able to become another person? that's something i'm interested in. and it wouldn't hurt to put my degree to use."
that answer had come quickly too, acting was first on her list between the two. pod-casting would be something great to have in her down-time. maybe a solo debut but she but acting was the first thing she wanted to try outside of her group, if she ever made it to the debut phase. it wasn't her main love but it was something she did love and was willing to study.
during your time here in legacy, what are some of the lessons that you’ve learned about yourself?
"hmm, this is a little hard…when thinking about myself. i think the biggest thing being a trainee at the company has given me a sense of a community? i don't think i really had that while i was going through middle school and high school? i did find community's outside of that but school was every single day. and being apart of one…i think i've done well. it's something i'm doing everyday focused on a goal that everyone around me has. i think i've learned that it's okay to come out of my shell, i'm not perfect at it but i have the ability. i think i've learned to believe in myself a little more…and i didn't realize how little i believed in myself before that."
the last question did take a little time to answer. it was unexpected and something she hadn't given much thought too. she wasn't sure if it was the answer they wanted, if they event had one in mind but it was what she had for now. there was a little more chatting before she was finally allowed to leave with a final bow.

⸻ INVITATION ( @rowonlgc )
"Boooo," Byeongkwan taunts playfully from his seat on the ground, firing two thumbs down at the other as he runs through his practice set. "You call yourself a triple threat? More like a triple..." Buffering. "...Wreck."
His playful digs always fell a bit short as of late. Overly cautious and painfully lame. He'd blame the slight ( understatement ) awkwardness that he felt whenever the two found themselves alone. Byeongkwan, still accustomed to a distance no shorter than arms-length when it came to Rowon, struggled to fall into the same level of comfort that once was. He opens his mouth to speak again, prepared to give some real feedback, when his phone begins to buzz in his back pocket.
"Shit - Hey, turn that down a second, yeah?" he waves a hand in the other's direction, gesturing to kill the music. He expects yet another scathing call from his father, but the contact that appears gives him pause - even to the point of giving the screen a double take. "Mrs. Han?"
The pleasantries are short, yet kind. He had always known the woman to be so. "Yeah - No, I'm a little bu - Are you sure? I don't know if that's... It has been a while...?" his brows furrow, perplexed, and his eyes travel to land on Rowon. Had he put her up to this? "I guess, I uh... Yeah, yeah, that sounds great. I'm actually in practice with him now - "
#( invitation. )#lgc:workshops#rowonlgc#( and so it begins - )#( hope this is alright??? let me know if i should change anything! )

@rowonlgc
when max saw the list of people he was supposed to mentor, he entered the whole workshop with mixed feelings. while he was happy to know all the people he was going to work with, he also wasn't sure how rowon in particular would behave. they used to be good friends, great friends even but with how much of a rollercoaster things had been and the disaster with hyuk, the idol was a little lost where he stood with his old pal.
so during a 1 on 1 session, max was a little lost how to begin that conversation without using time rowon was meant to learn and improve. "so how are you feeling about all of this so far," was the best and most vague way he felt he could approach the situation with, hands wrung together to have something to do with them and not fidget around with a pen or bounce his knee.
