Finally getting off my bum and getting these beetle charms put together!

This took me all day getting it all together, but phew, it’s done. I am only going to have the shop open from now until Sunday. My last shipping day of the year is 12/12! I’ll reopen later, but it won’t be in time for holiday gifts.

IT’S DONE OMG I started this months ago. This was a beast of a project, so many layers, so much work. Very very happy with how it came out though! It has a lot of depth, as it should since this was painted on over 12 layers.

Remember that time in September I was like I'm gonna update my etsy soon!!! I was not lying at the time but this was my final piece for the update. I loved this arowana. Loved it.

I made my final top pour on it and it. Bubbled. Up. Like, I don't know how 5 billion bubbles manifested during the curing but it did. I was devastated and have been trying since then to sand it down and fix my poor painted fish. I have put hours into sanding it.

Maybe some day it will be restored... But not for this next update. Which, I have finished another piece for to replace this fish. Well actually it is getting a top coat right now so oh my God, wish me luck. I want to update the store tomorrow. 😭

You know what's wild on Etsy is you can have your shop be on vacation mode but if you don't reply to a message within 24 hours WHILE ON VACATION MODE, you get penalized for it in your visibility

So that's neat lmaooo. I don't super care but hey good to know.

I learned things from the zebra pleco which made this possible!! This one has to be my best yet. I’m quite fond of this snake, it really sells the 3D illusion. It’s Acrochordus granulatus!

Yeah yeah yeah!!!! Building up for another shop update. The resin paintings will be in there too.

As promised, I got fresh new clear beautiful resin and I’m making the paintings again. <3 Octopus, frog, loach, pleco, snake.

I finished another. This little spotted turtle came out so good!

Now this one, I just want to eat it. Lime green and orange.

I still need to sand and paint these but wow!!!! Really happy with the chameleon pigments (the color changing shimmer is PERFECT), and how the pressure pot came in clutch getting all the bubbles out.

YESSSS my new pressure pot WORKS and this dragon doesn’t have any nasty bubbles in it. I used chameleon mica powder (purple to blue) in the mold and added metallic silver highlights!

The octopus is the biggest one I've done thus far and still in progress!

I got new molds for my birthday, finally got to use them. 👀 I think I must cave... and get a pressure pot. It would make my life so much easier. Love these molds though.
