Top 12 LGBT Horror Characters
9. Jake Wheeler (played by Zackary Arthur) from Chucky
TW: mentions of homophobia, bullying, child abuse, death, murder
Tumblr media
*spoilers for Chucky TV Series*
Moving on to another television series based on a popular horror franchise, we are now discussing “Chucky”, which premiered on Syfy and USA Network in 2021, created by Don Manicini, who originated the entire franchise.
After seven movies, the iconic foul-mouthed killer doll continues his path of bloodshed on the small screen, with his targets sighted on a new generation of kids to terrorize.
One of those kids is middle schooler Jake Wheeler.
Before Chucky came into his life, Jake was already living in a horror story.
After his mother died in a car accident, Jake’s father Lucas became alcoholic, he is bullied mercilessly at school over his sexuality, and his perfectionist cousin Junior wants nothing to do with him.
At home, Lucas’ anger is compounded by the jealousy he felt toward his twin brother Logan’s more successful life he shared with his own wife and son. Plus, he is also not very accepting of Jake’s sexuality once he came out to him. All of this brewing rage led to Lucas punching his young son in the face after a heated argument. 🥺
The only solace he had was building those bizarre, morbid sculptures in his bedroom. (A hobby that he apparently outgrew after season 1, cause it’s never mentioned again.)
Then, Jake crosses paths with the red-headed doll at a chance encounter at a garage sale. After discovering his supernatural secret, Jake becomes slowly influenced by Chucky through after sharing his problems with him. Chucky uses false empathy to sway Jake into believing that he cares about his personal issues and wants to help him out. Thus, Chucky proposes a solution to make Jake’s emotional pain go away: MURDER!
What makes this so fascinating is that we see our lead character contemplating on going through with murdering someone. There are scenes of Jake buying weapons, chasing after someone, and even willingly gives Chucky to his tormentor Lexi, knowing that she would get murdered. Even though he has a change of heart and chooses to stop this plan, part of me actually worried that Jake would’ve succeeded in giving in to Chucky’s psychopathic manipulations, becoming another Charles Lee Ray in the making. It is terrifying, yet heartbreaking to see how easy it is for a child from a broken home could be influenced to do horrific acts by a stranger.
Yet, the damage was already done. Jake’s actions have still led to many deaths around him, including classmates and family members.
Now, Jake has to take responsibility and make things right. Now, everyday him and his friends have to spend their teen years facing danger at every turn.
Evil therapists. Psychotic nuns. Sociopathic children.
And to top it off, Chucky can be anywhere…and ANYONE!!
I can’t tell you if Jake will survive Chucky once more, because season 3 hasn’t premiered yet by the time this post has been published.

least favorite: Trash Man Owen, Callie, Jo, Burke
Weak links (the writers didn't really try to explore their characters): Mark, April
least favorite deaths: all of them. why are we killing doctors just have them move to a different hospital jfc. and whatever they did to Alex was foul idk who approved that. Izzie's departure also never sat right with me.

Elliot blowing that shit away is something I did not expect but also that might also be pivotal in who ends up with jules
(I'm still very against this love triangle ) ans these kids are all bad influences on eachother.

Grey’s Anatomy Exits Ranked From Best to Worst
Addison Montgomery: She rode off into the Californian sunset. She found fulfilling work at a thriving practice, made wonderful friends and founded a beautiful family with the love of her life. Private Practice was a fantastic show, because it stood really well on its own, but gave us a great crossover episode every once in a while.
Cristina Yang: She stayed true to herself, seeking out opportunities to learn and grow as a surgeon in a state of the art cardiac research facility in Switzerland. She said her heartfelt goodbyes, before dancing it out with her ‘person’ one last time.
Preston Burke: He did ground-breaking work in Zurich. He mended fences with Cristina, before choosing to spend time with his loving family.
Nathan Riggs: He found happiness in Malibu with his long-lost fiancé and her beloved little boy.
Stephanie Edwards: She literally left Seattle in a blaze of glory, having saved that little girl’s life during the fire. I hope she is fully recovered, traveling the world like she wanted.
Erica Hahn: She stood by her principles, protesting Izzy’s theft of a donor heart for Denny. I hope she is out there somewhere, doing groundbreaking surgery alongside a lovely lesbian.
Callie Torres & Arizona Robbins: Arizona prioritised her daughter’s needs in moving cross country so she could be with her Mama in a show of successful co-parenting. Though Callie’s original exit (in pursuit of Penny) was regrettable, a simple text was enough to rekindle the Calzona flame.
Derek Shepherd: His death was untimely, but it allow Derek and Meredith’s eternal love to live on. He left his wife one final gift, in the form of their daughter, Ellis.
George O’Malley: His death was suddden and tragic, like many in the real world. Perhaps George was taken too soon. Perhaps it would have been more realistic if he died in the line of duty while serving in the military, but you can’t deny that his final elevator scene was iconic.
Reed Adamson & Charles Percy: Frankly, I never developed an attachment to either of these residents, who came to the hospital after Seattle Grace was merged with Mercy West. However, no matter who you are or what you’ve done, a mass shooting is not a nice way to go.
Leah Murphy & Shane Ross: Some crack under the pressure of surgical residency and some are home wreckers. It was lucky they weren’t killed off in a bid to appease outraged Crowen/Calzona fans.
Izzie Stevens: I think it might have been somewhat neater and/or more realistic if Izzie had died of cancer as originally planned. I started watching the series in Season 7, before eventually binging all previous episodes, so Katherine Heigl has never really had a special place in my heart. But I’m still glad she got to have kids, live happily on a farm in Kansas.
Heather Brooks: Electrocution was a horrible way to go, but at least she died while trying to save the beloved Richard Webber.
April Kepner: I’m a huge Japril fan, but no matter how you feel about April and Matthew as a couple, she deserves to be happy. It is some consolation that she is alive and well in Washington, so perhaps all hope is not lost for her and Avery.
Lexie Grey & Mark Sloane: Their death was terribly sad and anything but the happily ever after Slexie deserved. I’m forever bitter that Lexie didn’t just take a research year in New York. Sloane could have realised his true feelings and followed her there to propose. Eventually, they would both find permanent work and decide that NY was the best place to raise their kids. This would have made Callie’s decision to move to New York a lot more sensible for Sofia. It might have been tricky to manage Meredith’s relationship with Lexie off-screen, but why not, if they did so for her best friend? I’m sure the fans would have played along. Either way, the plane crash was a little far-fetched.
Alex Karev: I’m aware that the writers did not have a lot of time, but Justin’s exist storyline was quite poor. It’s not so much a question of why, but how. It’s understandable that Alex would want to be with his kids. Maybe there was a possibility that he would have fallen back in love with Izzie over time. But for him to ghost his wife for 6 weeks after they have only just renewed their vows? For him to explain himself in a letter containing divorce papers? To leave his best friend, his second family and the woman who has been left heartbroken by any family member she has ever known? That meant destroying 16 seasons worth of character development in one foul swoop. No, these are not the actions of Alex Karev. He should have invited Jo to Kansas to meet the kids. They would have tried to make it work, even as his love for Izzie grew. Then perhaps he would have been the one receiving a goodbye letter, as Jo set him free to be with his family before returning to Seattle. Later, Zola, Bailey and Emilia could visit the farm with Meredith, only to come back to the hospital, full of excitement at having made friends with Alexis and Eli.
I wish Justin every health and happiness in his future endeavours. It seems there is a lot going on behind-the-scenes. It can’t have been an easy decision to go, but sometimes you have to do what’s right for you.

Datamining Andromeda: Humans
Tumblr media
We’re getting closer to the end of this series! We’re going to dig around Mass Effect Andromeda’s files for information about the human characters. Some of them have summaries and biographies hidden inside the game files for the developers to use.
Previous posts:
Datamining Andromeda: Asari Datamining Andromeda: Salarians Datamining Andromeda: Turians Datamining Andromeda: Krogan
When it comes to the humans, many minor NPCs have summaries while major characters such as Liam, Addison, and Gil do not.
Warning: There are spoilers ahead!
------
Major Human Characters:
Cora Harper Cora Harper is a human soldier who trained with mysterious asari commandos. Talented and smart, Harper is a consummate professional who finds herself always looking for a trusted mentor to give her guidance and a path in life. She was a close friend of the Player's father--as close as anyone got--and can give insight into him even after his passing. Harper is a woman of few words: in a pinch, she prefers to let a bit of deadpan humour or a well-placed shot do the talking.
Suvi Anwar Suvi Anwar is the Tempest's resident science officer. A brilliant physicist, she was recommended for the Pathfinder Initiative, and jumped at the chance to explore the wonders of a new galaxy. Initially attached to the NEXUS as part of the team responsible for the data collection and analysis of the conditions in the Heleus Cluster, Suvi campaigned to become part of the Pathfinder's scouting team, in order to expand her investigation of the cluster. Excitable, may occasionally talk to herself. Brain goes fast, mouth runs to keep up.
Harry Carlyle Harry is initially the team doctor on the Pathfinder team, but then swaps job with Lexi. Harry remains on the Hyperion and helps watch over the sibling. Harry is in his late 40s, easy-going, and game for anything.
Ryder Sr. Father of the player character. Tough, no nonsense ex-soldier-turned-Pathfinder.  He's a commanding presence.
Ellen Ryder Ellen Ryder is the wife of Alec Ryder, the original human Pathfinder who dies in M1 (and mother of player characters, Scott and Say).  Ellen met Alec when he was doing his N7 training on Earth.   Ellen was a scientist involved in the early stages of human biotic research, delving into the use of implants as a way of harnessing biotic abilities. At the time, this was very primitive and often dangerous work.  Alec and Ellen married, but he was then deployed to the First Contact War, leaving Ellen as something of a soldier's wife, moving around wherever Alec was posted. Next up was the Citadel, where Alec was ambassador and Ellen raised their two children, Scott and Sara for a number of years on the station. On the Citadel, Ellen found new horizons opening up in her field, with the galactic knowledge of biotics far in advance of the work she'd been doing on Earth. But there was a dark side too. Ellen experienced the onset of a serious degenerative disease. Its root cause could be traced back to her early work on biotics on Earth, at a time when the danger of exposure to eezo was little understood.  Because her illness was so rare, there was no known cure. The family moved back to Earth to care for her and Alec devoted himself to developing SAM as a way of curing her.  Alec enlisted Ellen in the project, and together they leveraged her knowledge of implants, melding it with Alec's understanding of A.I. The project consumed Alec, and he became a distant and aloof figure to both his wife and children. Whereas Ellen tried to put on a brave face and remain a committed mother - she eventually ended up the de facto "single parent" in place of their mostly absent father. Despite her disease, she remained a loving and committed mother, caring deeply about her two children. Eventually, her condition worsened to the point where it was too late, death was inevitable. She was willing to accept this, but Alec was not.  He loved her too much.  Despite their sometimes rocky relationship they still felt passionate about each other, even to the very end.
------
Mysterious Benefactor
Race: Human A character in the Alec Ryder memory flashbacks. This is the Mysterious Benefactor -- the secret backer of the entire Andromeda Initiative who originally hired Alec. She's a woman, though her face will remain hidden in this game and we'll only hear her voice.
------
Humans of Kadara:
Sloane Kelly Sloane Kelly also known as the "Outcast Queen" is a "Robin Hood" figure who leads the Outcast Legion pirate faction by holding the spoils of war in one hand and a loaded gun in the other. A hardened survivor from the Nexus rebellion, she holds a deep personal grudge against the Andromedia Initiative--and, by association, the Pathfinder. South African. Attractive but tough. Like Furiosa from Mad Max.
Reyes Vidal Reyes Vidal presents himself to the player as a smuggler and contact of the Angaran Resistance, but he is secretly the Charlatan, one of the two major pirate lords vying for power in Kadara Port. He is charming and driven, but ultimately selfish and values himself above others. Casual, friendly with a flirty undertone. A very slight Chilean accent. Han Solo handsome--rugged but put together.
Dr. Ryota Nakamoto Ryota Nakamoto once worked for the Outcast Legion, but when Sloane turned what should have been a medical breakthrough into a drug, he quit and started up a free clinic in the slums of Kadara Port. He is Japanese, but doesn't have an accent.
------
Humans of the Nexus:
Jien Garson This is Jien Garson, the founder of the Andromeda Initiative. A charismatic visionary billionaire ala Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk, or Steve Jobs. She is seen in the video "info wall" in beginning of game. She will also be a character in the MEA prequel novel.
William Spender The son of an influential investor of the pathfinder initiative, Spender was assigned to the Pathfinder Initiative as an administrator. Though he was not competent, his ability as a politician was such that he managed to preserve his position within the Initiative until the departure of the arks. Woken up during the arrival in the Heleus Cluster, he became the director of colonial affairs’€™ assistant more though lack of personel than anything else. His propensity for dodgy politics and behind the scenes dealing (and lying) continued, though a fatal miscalculation led to him becoming a pawn of the Nexus Exiles. He subsequently contributed to the departure of the krogan clan among other issues. He complies with Tann's requests thus is in good odor with him. Addison knows he is less than qualified and suspects he had a part in the krogan leaving, but no one has any idea of his involvement with the exiles.
Cryo Deployment Administrator Vladimir Brecka Dedicated but long-suffering assistant to the Colonial Director. Generally good natured, but knows his place in the order of things, and wants better. Knows that a good job will lead to better things for everyone, so he grins and bears it. Light Romanian Accent.
Doctor Camden Chief botanist and manager of Hydroponics who left for Andromeda after the Divorce From Hell. Camden is brisk and fussy, annoyed that people dismiss him as "a gardener" when his work in Hydroponics keeps everyone still breathing, eating, and drinking--nothing important, right? He nurses that grudge like a favourite teddy bear, but underneath it all he's deeply concerned that a thin green line separates the Nexus from life and death. Akin to the Doctor from ST: Voyager.
Yolanda Carter Operations Manager. A seemingly quiet and posed woman, Yolanda will rain the fires from hell down upon any unsuspecting fool who presumes to think her request for this or that item is superfluous. While some are intimidated by her, having fallen foul of her before, all respect her ability to get shit done. She works with Vetra and the two make a scary team when they are like-minded on acquiring something for the station.
Ada DeYoung A young technician working under Kesh on the Nexus. She is optimistic and tends to take everything with great aplomb. Kesh sends her to fix problems that no one can figure out, as the joke among the engineers is that the bugs then to happen when she's around. She is excellent at tracking down power issues within any given sort of network.
Sung-Soo Hwang Technician. An engineer working under Kesh in the engineering department. He is a hardware specialist who tends to be partnered with Ada more often than not due to their complementary skillsets and the fact that he takes the power outages Ada discovers with humor and has set up a countdown betting pool as to the next outage she tracks down.
Colonial Affairs Ops Lin. A young woman, asian, working the comms in the Colonial Affairs area. She's generally in charge of ensuring Addison is aware of on the spot reports when she's not at her desk, and managing the flow of information from settlements to the appropriate department head.
------
Humans on Meridian After the Last Mission:
Iora Pillay (Chief Operations) Iora Pillay (iora, not Lora) takes on the managerial position meant to temporarily organize Hub operations until a permanent leader is decided, then assist that leader in perpetuity. East Indian by way of the Citadel. Focused, careful. Respects the Pathfinder, but on some level considers their job "done." Very pro Nexus-as-new-Citadel. She is "second wave," one of the first of the humans "defrosted" after the Hyperion was placed.
Hunter Kerry (Chief Engineer) Hunter is heading up the planned deconstruction of the Hyperion, managing the balance between reuse and recycling. New Zealander. Plainspoken, tough as balls. Doesn't care about politics. Complains that accommodating aliens messes with construction, but then goes above and beyond to do it. He just wanted you to know. He's another second wave defrostee.
Darla vas Hyperion (Placements Officer) Darla vas Hyperion is in charge of assigning occupations as the Ark is slowly repurposed and the humans in stasis are awakened. Spent most of her life among Quarians, because her parents were diplomats.  Utterly used to ship-life and the specificity of roles that demands. Pale. Used to life in a sterile environment. Middle management, glad to be in HR and not farming. Idolizes the Pathfinder. Another second wave defrostee. Korean Heritage.

TVD 2x15 Review
Fair warning, I am slightly tipsy.
1. The compass that’s supposed to tell you if there are vampires around seems to delay a lot. Like I forget, can it only detect vampires within a certain amount of feet?
2. “I saw the vampire who killed me, it was Stefan Salvatore.” OK. I get that the original John Gilbert had Emily create the Gilbert Ring to bring him back to life, although it should really be called the Bennett Ring since Emily was the one who spelled it and created it but whatever, so I’m meant to assume, then, that when Stefan killed John, he was wearing this ring and that’s why he could write in his journal after. So considering that Stefan also tore out John’s neck, I’m assuming that this ring can also heal that gaping wound then. It would be a lot more interesting if the Ring revived people but kept their bodies mutilated.
3. Damon speaking about having breakfast and being very relaxed while looking at Andie putting on her abuser scarf is super gross.
4. And Damon legit treats her like a pet.
5. I’m really not here for Elijah shading the Founding Families not really founding Mystic Falls when we don’t ever speak about these people stealing land from indigenous populations.
6. There is literally no reason why Elena, Jeremy AND Alaric keep vampires from Jenna until the episode before she turns into one.
7. “It’s a joke, Ric, lighten up.” When someone asks me if I like Elijah and I say I don’t remember, remind me that I find him petty and funny.
8. Bonnie and Jeremy were legit foul for what they did to Luka.
9. “He described you as a monster.” “That’s what I was.”  This entire episode is Stefan and Elena exploring another part of Stefan’s very lengthy past. The fact that Stefan doesn’t roll up on Elena in season 1 and tell her everything he ever did does not make him a liar, which is somehow hard for antis to grasp. Stefan was always open to answering whatever Elena wanted to know about his history and didn’t shy away from the very dark parts nor did he make himself out to be the hero or the victim.
10. You know, it’s interesting that these flashbacks are supposed to show that Damon used to be the “good” brother whereas Stefan was the “bad” brother but it actually just reiterates that Stefan forcing Damon to turn didn’t change anything about Damon’s character and that Damon’s “misery” and impulsiveness and homicidal temper tantrums have nothing to do with vampirism and have everything to do with Damon. When Stefan gets a taste of human blood, he completely changes, the transformation is instant, we see it, he becomes inherently animalistic but Damon is exactly who he was beforehand. His behaviour in the 00s/10s has absolutely nothing to do with Stefan.
11. And Damon was always so quick to leave Stefan behind.
12. “She’s been compelled to keep all of her secrets”, he legit treats Andie like a pet.
13. Nina really just plays Katherine like she’s Damon.
14. This was a good flashback for Lexi and I could do with 3x07 but then that should’ve been the end of it and we should’ve understood more about Lexi in this episode, I get that we find out that she’s kind and she’s caring because she chooses to help Stefan not be a ripper but we should’ve gotten more than “she was in MF because she heard it was a good place for vampires” where was she before, does she have friends, where did she hear that MF was a good place for vampires, like who IS Lexi.
15. Hey, remember that time that Alaric tells Damon that he doesn’t want him to do any sneak attacks or anything to provoke Elijah while Jenna is in the same house as him and Damon promises he won’t do any of that but then reveals that he will when the last time he had a brilliant idea, Jenna was compelled to stab herself in the stomach? And remember that time that Damon orders Andie to do something she finds “a little too sexist” and his response is to tell her to stop talking? LOL OK guys.
16. LOL Jeremy and Bonnie were actually pretty cute in season 2. He put candles all around the living room for her and her “Oh GOD” when she sees them, super adorable.
17. “But you did ... you did like it, right?” lol.
18. Damon is so easy to read.
19. LOL an anon told me last night that a DE fan said that Damon was the master at diabolical plans when in this episode alone, he would’ve died because John orchestrated his death re: the dagger and Elena just so happened to find a passage that explained that vampires who use it will die. And Katherine manipulated him into letting her out of the tomb. But OK.
20.  It’s still a copout that vampires have a part of them that is “human” but whatever.
21. The SE gazes in the “I just want you to fight for it” scene are highly underrated.
22. I’m sorry but after what Bonnie did to Luka, the fact that Martin takes her powers is fair, she deserved that L. Like I get that they’re on opposing sides so what Bonnie and Jeremy and Caroline did Luka is in a way fair game but so are the repercussions they get. And this should’ve been explored more because from Luka and his dad’s perspective, Bonnie, Elena etc. are the villains here and I find them a more sympathetic case than when Rebekah made the “Elena is also the villain” speech in season 4.
23. “I may not be able to enter this house but I am a very patient man, I will wait you out” just burn the house down.
24. Yeah season 2 Elena could be ballsy.
25. Another underrated SE moment is when he feeds her his blood and they stare at each other afterwards to see if the other is OK.
26. Jenna’s “are you being honest” speech is basic and Alaric isn’t the only one acting shady, Jeremy and Elena have been super shady since season 1 but her noticing that I guess means noticing her relatives.
27. And real talk, it would be easy to lie about Isobel, he could just be like, I thought she was dead but she actually just left me. That’s all John was talking about.
28. “After what you did to Damon you’re going to need it more than me” as if Damon doesn’t deserve to get go.
29. “Seems like she had a change of heart, how did you get through to her” yet another example of how SE transforms each other.
30. Am I also meant to be like OH DEFAN MOMENT because Damon tells Lexi to help Stefan before bailing on him?
31. I still think Damon’s face at seeing Katherine naked in the shower is priceless.
32. Who showers with a necklace?
That’s all! And now I am completely sober. TVD will do that to you.

Head Cannon: Alexandria Pt. 2
What is this? So here is the part 2 of Alexandria’s head cannon. I hope part 1 was interesting enough to have you waiting for this one. Once again I want to thank everyone who took the time to read/reblog/comment on my HCs. They important to me and your attention means so much. Enjoy :)
Part 1
“I don’t care who or what you were in the Demon World. You are none of those now that you’re here, and here in the Human World what I say goes.”
So the succubus whose story you read in pt. 1, Aquila, was a princess of the Lilith Kingdom but she escaped to the Human World with the help of Harold Anderson, a powerful warlock and Alexandria’s grandfather. She was grateful to him, and eventually they fell in love with each other and got married. A few years after that Alexandria’s father, David, was born. But because David is a boy and his father is not a demon, he is entirely human with some demon blood but no powers. He is not even aware of this fact. However, when David has a child of his own, a baby girl, that little girl, being the first female child born into the family after Aquila joins, inherits the powers of her grandmother instead. That little girl is Alexandria.
Because her grandmother is an extremely powerful succubus and her grandfather has magic, Alexandria has all the powers a full-blooded succubus would have, complete with a demon form, backed up by very powerful magic. Her grandmother even used to claim that she’s more powerful than almost all succubi and incubi. The only thing that sets her apart is the lack of horns in her demon form.
“But why don’t I have horns like you do, grandma?”
“That’s because of your diluted blood, dear. Don’t worry. It doesn’t mean much. Only that you are a very special girl.”
Trained in the art the arts of seduction, illusion, mind control and every other succubus ability by her grandmother, and in almost all kinds of magic by her grandfather, Alexandria is one of most powerful beings that has ever walked the Plains of Existence. Very much so that even Angels are weary of her at first. When she was 13, her grandmother was killed by a group of devils and she killed them with the back of her hand to have her revenge, Angels approached her with an proposition.
“What the fuck do you want from me? I did nothing wrong. In fact I did your job for you.”
“That is exactly why we’re here, child.”
So instead of being angry with her, they ask her to become somewhat of a ruler in the Human World. They would actually pay her human money and give her somewhat of an authority to act on their behalf, in return she would have to keep the entire demon population in check, away from humans and devils. And Alexandria, at the time desperately looking for ways to free herself from her father, accepts. The Angels give her the means to travel around the world very quickly and the ability to be able to communicate with demons and devils no matter what language they spoke. Not wanting their wrath upon her, she immediately got to work. She traveled the entire globe in a little over a month and managed to make acquaintances with every demon out there. She wrote down the used human name, True Name, contact information and current residence of every demon. Then, she wrote down the rules that the Angels set and sent them out to every single one of them, with the Angels’ and her own seals for proof that there would be consequences if the rules were not obeyed.
-Killing or harming humans by using your demonic powers is forbidden and punishable, possibly by death.
-Exposing yourself to humans, except those that are witched and warlocks, is forbidden. Can be overlooked if the human is willing to make an oath to keep it a secret. Otherwise both the demon and the human will go through Angels’ Trials or executed.
-Any items imported from the Demon World without the approval of the Representative will be confiscated, and the demon/s responsible for bringing the items will be punished.
-Conflict with the Hell Spawn must be avoided at all costs. If can not be avoided, the Representative must be informed at once, whether the said Hell Spawn are still alive or not.
-Any demon residing in the Human World must meet the Representative and get registered.
-The Representative has the authority to inflict punishments and handle executions if any of the rules stated above has been broken.
With the distribution of the rules and the news that there is now a ruler causes a stir among the demons and even devils that live in the Human World. Alexandria is quick to quiet down everyone and reassure them that she’s not there to rule over them, but protect them.
“I’m not here to rule over you. I was chosen by the Angels’ to make sure that everyone obeyed their rules. They could easily do this themselves. Their punishments would be harsh and they would show no mercy. And I could let them for all I care. But I didn’t. I accepted this role to make sure that you all have a better chance.”
She tells the devils that so long they stayed away from her people and the humans, she would take no action against them. Her only responsibility was to the demons but if they ever dared to harm any of her people, they would find death in her hands.
In time people slowly start to accept her role as the Representative and even respect her greatly. There are still some sore thumbs here and there that cause trouble by refusing to give their True Name or some other way, but she’s always able to deal with them either with her natural charisma and swaying words, or by force.
Alexandria is force of nature. There is no one in the world that wouldn’t obey her one way or the other. Although she especially enjoys taming rebels. Despite her constant use of foul language and bitchy attitude, she manages to gather an extremely loyal group of people, composed of witches, warlocks and demon alike, that are her eyes and ears all around world. She learns different types of magic from all of them. Her most trusted agent and best friend is a Shadow demon who calls himself Keith. He is her second in command and the head of a lot of operations. He is sarcastic, snarky and sneaky as hell, and despite their constant bickering they always have each other’s backs.
“You know you love me, Lexy.”
“Shut the fuck up, Keith, and for the last time DON’T CALL ME LEXY!”
Alexandria has a very bitchy, fuck-everyone-and-everything, I-literally-couldn’t-care-less attitude. But in reality she cares a lot about her people and friends. She’s sarcastic and loves nicknames. She has at least one nickname for everyone she meets. The closer she is to the person, the more creative and bigger in number the nicknames get. She has absolutely zero tolerance to people deciding things for her or ordering her around. Which means she has no tolerance for her father. She hates him as much as it is possible for a child to hate her father. After she becomes the Angels’ Representative, she immediately goes to tell him off.
“You don’t get to tell me what to do anymore, old man. You can go and shove those expectations and dreams you have for me right down your throat and choke on them while you fuck yourself.”
“Alexandria Anderson! How dare you speak to me like this!”
After that the two of them rarely spoke. When Alexandria’s grandfather dies and leaves his mansion to her, her father immediately sends her off the very same day. She knows it’s probably the last that she ever sees him and she doesn’t care. She goes into the house, settles in and calls up her friends for a small housewarming party that involve a lot of booze. Keith and his wife Emily, who’s an animal demon, are the first to show up. After a great night that she barely remembers she goes to school and come back to the mansion and guess what? There lies 5 people on her floor, covered in blood and barely conscious. She can tell they’re demons right away but surprised to see that she doesn’t recognize any of them. Unregistered demons. In her house. Bleeding all over her floor.
Before she can think of the best course of action, one of them suddenly appear in front of her, looking straight into her eyes. The boy has messy brown hair and deep green eyes, but his gorgeous face is ruined by a frown. Looking into his eyes she suddenly feels like she wants to kiss him but breaks out of it when she realises what’s happening. He’s compelling her. Incubus. She becomes so furious that she sees red. How dare he?
“Women, you’re going to let me kiss you.”
“…”
“OH MY GOD! YOU KILLED HIM!”
“Calm down, bouncy. He ain’t dead. And so long as he doesn’t try to pull off something like that again, he’ll remain that way.”
Alexandria demands to know who they are and what 5 unregistered incubi were doing in her house. They explain everything to her, saying that they were attacked by devils and found the house while looking for shelter, not knowing it belonged to anyone. She was shocked to hear that. Every demon there had to know that this house belonged to a relative of the Representative. But then they weren’t registered so either they were new or no one told them. When the brown haired one comes to, she takes out her list to register them immediately, explaining the process of residing in the Human World. The incubi see that they have little choice but to agree. They all give her their names, used and True, all except for one.
“Why the fuck do we have to give her our names? She almost killed me!”
“Well, you ain’t dead, are ya, tough guy? Now spill it or do I really have to use force again?”
“I’d like to see you try.”
“In your weakened state and after what just happened, you sure have some serious balls to speak to me like that. There are rules made to be broken but this isn’t one of them.”
After somewhat of a glaring contest, he finally gives up and tells her. She reassures them that her documents are for her eyes only and no one would be able to read them. She hands the brothers, and throws one at Sam, a special potion that she makes from sweet flower so that they can restore their energy. She says they should retire for now and they will discuss what happens with them later.

LPGA Commissioner: ‘I feel horrible for Lexi Thompson’
(CNN)LPGA commissioner Mike Whan said that while he feels bad about the controversial call made Sunday against golf star Lexi Thompson, it was the right decision.
"This is one of those cases that the rules were applied 100% correct as they're written today, for the rules of golf, but it doesn't mean that everybody doesn't feel horrible the next day," Whan told CNN on Monday.
"I feel horrible for Lexi Thompson, who proved she's one of the best golfers on the planet and certainly played well enough to earn a trophy," he continued. "I feel bad for So Yeon Ryu who won a major but really didn't get the experience that most would get in winning a major, and I feel for the rules officials that had to do their job. They followed the rules as written."
"I cannot and I will not overrule a ruling of the game that was accurately portrayed," Whan added.
At Sunday's ANA Inspiration, the first major of the year in women's golf, Thompson was closing in on a second major title. But the 22-year-old American was hit by a four-stroke penalty in the final round after a viewer alerted officials to a rules infringement from Saturday's third round.
The penalties were for incorrectly replacing her marked ball on the 17th green in the third round on Saturday and signing an incorrect scorecard after that round.
Thompson, who was leading by two shots with six holes to play, was informed of the decision heading to the 13th tee. Thompson rallied but ultimately fell short in a sudden-death playoff to South Korea's Ryu.
After the conclusion of the ANA Inspiration, Whan said he tried to call Thompson but that it went to voicemail.
"I actually sat down late last night and wrote Lexi a letter that I mailed today," Whan said. "I realized I didn't want to be the 450th voicemail or text message on her phone as she was going through this, changing planes. I wanted to make sure I got my point, my thoughts down on a piece of paper and sent to her."
Whan didn't say if the letter was an apology. "It was a really just a letter to say that sometimes the rules of the game, they feel unfair. I get that too. I can't overrule a rule that was accurately implemented by the rules of the game. There's nothing about this ruling that was wrong. In fact, it was 100% right.
"That's what makes it even more horrific, if you will, on the outcome," Whan continued. "I just wrote her a note to say I know this hurts. I'm incredibly proud of not only the way you handled it, but the way you played."
The governing bodies of golf, the USGA and the R&A, are considering implementing several rule changes, though those changes wouldn't take effect until 2019 at the earliest.
"We'll sit down and talk about whether or not we want to separate from the rules of the game as they're written today," Whan said. "We haven't done that in our 67-year history. We've essentially followed the rules as written."
Ahead of the start of the Masters, which is the first major of the calendar year for the men, other professional golfers said they would support a rule change.
"I think it's unfair," Jimmy Walker said Monday in Augusta, Georgia. "There's no other sport where anybody can call in and say, 'Oh, that was a foul.' It just doesn't happen. I don't know why we're the exception, why you get to do that. No one gets to call the ins and outs in tennis. It just doesn't happen, so I think we need to change it."
"There's no question it should be ended," Rickie Fowler said. "I don't think you can find one player that would say otherwise."

Project Churchill 5
Hey guys sorry I haven’t updated in awhile, but here’s chapter 5.
I opened my laptop as the couple had a seat across from me, Chloe stood behind me.  I watched from over top of my laptop screen as they took off their jackets and gloves.  Chloe reached down from the stool underneath the desk and I slid over to make room for her, and slid the laptop across the table towards her.  She’d taken notes for me during my consultations in the past and it seemed only natural for her to do it now.
“So,” I said as I folded my hands on top of the desk in front of me, “Who are you and why do you need my help.”
The wife looked to her husband before he answered, “I’m Howard Miller and this is my wife Jill.  And as for why we’re here, we need help finding the murder of our children.”
I watched the couple carefully; trying to find some sense of grief or distress only to find none.   “Isn’t that more a job for the police?” I asked, hoping to trigger some emotion in either of them.
“Yes but the Baltimore Police Force is already busy with so many other murder cases it’s almost impossible to get anything done.”  That was true.  There was always at least one homicide committed in the city every day since the beginning of January.
“You’re from Baltimore?” I ask, a slight tinge of disbelieve coating my voice.
“Goodness no.”  Jill cried.  “We own a farm in Hereford.  The accident happened within city lines so Baltimore City Police took the case.”  That explained the accent. The clicking of the keyboard stopped as Chloe and I turned to look towards each other.  We both had the same thought “Hereford?”
“Accident?  I thought you said it was a homicide.”
“The police department is ruling it as a car accident right now.” Howard interjected, “But we think otherwise.”
“And how did you come up with that conclusion?” I asked.  I was beginning to dislike the sound of this story already.  The last thing I need is to waste my time on a wild goose chase.
“When we went to claim the bodies at the morgue office, the injuries didn’t look like something you could get from just a car accident.”  I turned to look at Chloe, silently asking if she thought she could sneak me into work with her.  She shook her head.
“Even if it was a hit and run as they’ve said,” Jill continued, “We still need to know who did it.”  “
What makes you think that I can be of service?”
“We heard that you’re the best.” Howard replied. “You are the best aren’t you?”
I knew that I was one of the best, but they didn’t need to know that I knew that. “I don’t know about the best, but my track record is pretty good.”  I pressed the tips of my fingers together, “Can you tell me what you know?”
“Well,” Jill began, “Our twins Grahm and Ainsley went to a party on Friday night at one of Grahm’s friends house.  They were supposed to go to my sister Louise’s house after the party but they never did.”
“Do you know where the party was?”
“Not really.” Howard answered. “Only that it was somewhere in east Baltimore.”  I started at him somewhat dumbfounded.  What type of parent isn’t wondering where their children are every moment when they’re not in their presence?
“How old are the twins?”  Chloe asked from behind the laptop.  I knew where she was going with this thought.  If they were young enough it might be enough for a cause of concern.
“Sixteen.” Jill replied, “They would’ve been seventeen in April.”  I turned to look at Chloe not exactly young enough for a big fuss but not old enough for them not to know where the party was.
So I pressed on asking, “So you let you sixteen year old children drive across the state to go to a party somewhere in east Baltimore at a kid’s house who I’m assuming that you haven’t met.”  Jill dropped her head in shame, answering my question.  “Well isn’t this just perfect?” I asked, pushing myself away from the desk, getting up, and started to pace.  “When I was their age I wasn’t allowed to go out unless my aunt knew who the kid was, who their parents where, and most importantly where it was!”
“Minna!”  Chloe cried from the desk, “Don’t be rude!”
“No, she has a point.”  Howard claimed, “We should’ve known where they were.”  He ran a hand through his graying blonde hair.
“What else do you know?” I asked impatiently wanting this to be over as soon as possible.
“We know that they were found in a park across the street from Parkside Drive.”  Jill said.
“And what about the twins?” I turned to face them, “Do you think they have any friends or know anyone who would do this to them?”
“No.” Jill answered, just a little too quickly, “I mean of course they had people in school they didn’t get along with.”  She trailed off again.  “But no child could be that mean, could they?”
“Mean is a nice way of describing it,” Chloe interjected, “but yes, you’d be surprised at what kids are capable of.  Where do they go to school?”
“Hereford High.”
“Mrs. Miller,” I asked, “do you know any names that could help us? Surely you’ve heard something in passing maybe?”
She froze like a deer in headlights.  A parent should know who their children have beef with.  Good ones do anyway.   “Um Lexy Bridges, Ashley Haze, Hunter McGregor… that’s all I can think of now.”
“What about friends or teachers?”  I managed to sit myself back behind the desk. “Ainsley was best friends with Jessica Myers and Macey Dale and Grahm got along with most of the kids on his football team. And Mrs. Moore practically cherished the twins”
“Grahm played football?”  I was intrigued, that could be a possible lead.
“He was the star quarterback!” Howard exclaimed, full of pride.
“Chloe make sure you put that in bold ink.”  She nodded at me.  “And Ainsley; was she involved in school activities.”
“Yes” Jill continued, “She was an introverted extrovert but she did play volley ball.  And she babysat some kids in the neighborhood”
“Did Grahm work as well?”
“Yes.  As part of our deal when he got his driver’s license he had to pay a part of the insurance so he worked at Cracker Barrel, near BWI Airport.”
“Can I get your interpretation of what happened to the twins?”  They looked at each other as if deciding who should speak.
Apparently Howard was selected as he said, “To be honest we aren’t really sure.  We think the twins went to the party, got caught up in something there or on the way to Louise’s house where there might have been some form of foul play that would’ve amplified the injuries from the accident.   Or it really was a terrible hit and run.”
“So will you help us?” Jill asked, not even a hint of desperation filled her voice; it sounded more like an order she expected to be followed.
Nodding to Chloe I said, “I’ll need to confer with my assistant.”
Simultaneously Chloe cried, “Assistant?” and Mrs. Miller “Why, it’s your business?”
“Because Mrs. Miller,” I answered, trying not to give in to the weight she was putting on my patience, “Recently I’ve learned not to be impulsive when accepting cases.”  That shut her up.
Grabbing Chloe I pulled her through the dining room and into the kitchen.   Wrenching her small arm from my large hand she asked, “What are you doing?”
I looked at her, her face was red, something her pale face found easy to do.   “I’m being cautious.”
Frustrated she ran both hands through her hair, “God, it’s about time.  Are you actually considering taking this case?”
“I know it sounds crazy but yes.”  Chloe let out a breath of frustration.
“And you expect me to help you again after last time?”
“Oh my god it wasn’t even that bad.” “You almost got me fired!”  Ok in all actuality it wasn’t really that bad.  I needed to get into the morgue to view a body and Chloe being the best friend that she is, was able to sneak me in.  Sure I had to hide in one of the metal vaults for three hours; but still it was worth it.  I solved the case after all.
“Ok.”  Chloe continued, “Even if it wasn’t, which it was; you really need to think this over.  How could you possibly think taking this case is a good idea?”
“I don’t think it’s a good idea.” I stumbled trying to find the right words to describe how I was feeling, “It’s just something telling me to take this case.”
Chloe looked at me with disbelief. “And is this something have to do with finding the murder of your parents?”
“That’s a low blow Chloe, especially for you.”  She came closer to me pulling me into her arms.
“Look,” she said straining her neck to look up at me, “I want to find out who killed them too, I loved them just as much as you did.”
This I knew was true.  When our mothers were pregnant with us, they were in the same birthing class and later found out that our fathers often worked together.  Since birth our parents made sure that we would be the best of friends as we lived next door to each other.  We shared a lot of memories together, including the same birthday.  She was the only person I know who felt pain remotely similar to mine when I lost Mom and Dad.
“I just think,” she continued, “that your obsess-”
“It’s not an obsession.”
“Fascination.” She corrected herself, “To find your parents is a bit unhealthy.  I mean you work nonstop and you nearly work yourself to death.”
I untangled myself from her arms. “No I don’t.  I’m just dedicated to my-”
“Dedicated to death.  Minna come on you’ve been shot at and had your house broken into all within the last 48 hours because of a case, don’t you think you need a break?”
I did feel like I needed a break, but I wasn’t going to tell her that.  And besides breaks don’t keep the lights on.   “Chloe I need to do this.”  I tried to pull another wine cooler out the fridge but Chloe slammed the door.
“No you don’t.” She said as she used her small frame to block the door.  “Minna their story doesn’t even make any sense, not to mention that the Millers don’t really seem to care that their kids are dead.”
Pushing her out the way I opened the fridge and got the cooler, bringing it over to the sink to pop the bottle off.  I took a swig. “Chlo Bird,” I said using her childhood nickname, “you know just as much as I that people deal with grief in many different ways.”  I threw my head back welcoming the sweet taste of the Moscato as it slid down my throat.
“But not to shed a tear?  You have to admit that that’s not normal.  Not everyone is a rock like you Minna.”
Normal changes when you go through grief, I knew that from personal experience.  And I wasn’t a rock.  Not even close.  I just knew that showing my pain wasn’t a good move for me at the moment.  I had to be strong for myself and Nana after the accident, at least until Aunt Lottie came and got me. “I’m taking this case Chloe.”  I swallowed another swig of the cooler, “Are you going to be a good best friend and help me or not?”
She snatched the cooler from my hands and took a long swing for herself.  God she was really going to be hung over tomorrow, and I’m going to spend my morning holding her hair back while she gets herself together. “I hate it when you play the friend card.”
“So you’ll help me?”
“Yes, it’s not like I’m risking my job or anything; or you know have an actually job to do.”
I went over to hug her, her head fitting under my right below my collarbone. “Thanks Chloe I couldn’t have picked a better sidekick.”
She pushed herself away from me, stumbling a little, the alcohol from tonight still altering her balance.   “I’m not a sidekick.”
“Keep dreaming Chlo Bird.”  We walked out the kitchen and through the dining room to find the Millers in a deep muffled conversation.  I knocked on the door, wanting to give them a warning before we barged in.  They turned to face us.
“We’ve come to a decision.” “And?” Jill questioned.  I noticed that she was eager while her husband seemed more apprehensive.
“I’ve decided to take your case.”  Mrs. Miller turned to her husband and took his hand. They got up and strode toward us.  Mrs. Miler too both of my hands in hers and whispered,
“Thank you.”
