🧸🐰🍭!! (@raylex)
OH LAWD.. THREE !!!! Alright cracks knuckles breaks fingers
🧸 - do either of you have any stuffed animals? how does the other feel about them? YES!! I DO!! I LOVE plushies and stuffies so much,,, I can't sleep without at least four plushies in my bed fghj
I feel Jim.iny would be very supportive of me for that!! He's a very understanding guy and thinks ones comfort is very important! Even if it may seem childish to others. But he doesn't think it is childish.
I think if Jim.iny owned one I'd probably give him a bee plushie... cus teehee I'm a bee : 3
🐰- how do you two feel about pets/animals? do you have any? WOULD LOVE FOR US TO HAVE PETS. Dunno how it'd work though considering the heights... but then again having a giant dog/cat would be awesome : 33
🍭- who has the sweet tooth? Jim.iny absolutely does, me not so much. I do snack occasionally on the odd cake or chocolate (despite it giving me bad acid reflux) but Jim.iny definitely has more of a sweet tooth than I do. He's my sweet lil guy💛

Keth,
What do you do if the vocabulary is forbidden (black card) and hypothetical (black ink)?
Hello again, fellow linguistic thrill-seeker!
First, I want to say how proud I am that you're even asking this question—this is exactly the sort of scenario the KICF v4.6 system was designed to handle!
Here's what I recommend:
🗂️ Storage Protocol: Place the card in a magnetic sealable folio, labelled ⚠️ CONTAINMENT ONLY – DO NOT CONJUGATE.
🖊️ Reference Notes: Cross-reference on a violet-ink purple card (semantic anomalies + supported theories) and write 'see sealed entry' in mirror script to prevent accidental activation via subvocalisation!
📚 Review Method: Black/black entries must never be spoken aloud unless supervised by an accredited lex-mediator. Instead, use a thought substitution proxy—e.g., that thing we don't say from the place we don't reference!
💡 Mnemonic Aid: I recommend pairing it with a cinnamon-scented card to encourage caution and prevent casual browsing!
Let me know if you need my printable Unstable Lexicon Handling Labels! I've just added glitter laminate!

Behind the name dash game

Alexander
Gender: Masculine
Usage: English
Meaning: Latinized form of the Greek name Ἀλέξανδρος (Alexandros), which meant "defending men" from Greek ἀλέξω (alexo) meaning "to defend, help" and ἀνήρ (aner) meaning "man" (genitive ἀνδρός). In Greek mythology this was another name of the hero Paris, and it also belongs to several characters in the New Testament. However, the most famous bearer was Alexander the Great, king of Macedon. In the 4th century BC he built a huge empire out of Greece, Egypt, Persia, and parts of India. Due to his fame, and later medieval tales involving him, use of his name spread throughout Europe. The name has been used by kings of Scotland, Poland and Yugoslavia, emperors of Russia, and eight popes. Other notable bearers include English poet Alexander Pope (1688-1744), American statesman Alexander Hamilton (1755-1804), Scottish-Canadian explorer Alexander MacKenzie (1764-1820), Russian poet Alexander Pushkin (1799-1837), and Alexander Graham Bell (1847-1922), the Scottish-Canadian-American inventor of the telephone.

I HAD THIS IN MY DRAFTS AND FORGOT TO POST IT, I'M SO SORRY ARC
I've decided to go for a holloweane one, If I could hold you for a minute, aka my d&d hatchetfield au.
Holloweane week was a learning experience, as it was my first fandom week event. Because of that, my writing schedules where from 10 pm to 2 am, something that I could later see reflected in the quality of the writing (nothing editing couldn't have saved tbh). Holloweane week was also a great moment of hubris, as I thought I could write all night for a week with no consequences AND with class during the day. By the end of the week, I noticed it wasn't sustainable.
All three chapters of this fic were supposed to be part of the same one shot, and be published during Holloweane week. While I was writing though, I noticed I had three different sequences in mind (and that I wasn't reaching Holloway's chappel that day), so I decided to divide them in chapters.
A fun fact of chapter 1 is that all the attacks in the fight were looked up (especially for spells) and then rolled... And my rolls really fucking sucked! Duke failed like 3 rolls with advantage, but it was too late to not commit to the bit, even if he had to look cool.
Regarding the party itself, I went for "co-protagonists of their musicals", who casually are some of my favorite Hatchetfield characteres and with their own possible plotlines. The party composition is far from the best, but I think that's one of the most d&d things ever (having two teens/young adults and someone with a life crisis that is running away from their problems). Duke really balances it all out, even if it's only for some days. I'd really like to see them interact all in canon though, especially Emma & Lex and Duke & Pete.
For Duke backstory, I really wanted Duke to be a paladin AND for Holloway to be his patron. One of the prompts for the fic was worship, and there are few things I like more than a paladin/cleric/warlock deeply in love with their patron, and as Curt said, Duke is smitten and swooing. So, I wanted Duke to go through a journey to meet (and fall in love) with his patron, even if he doesn't really know it.
In this AU Holloway would've traded her identity for her powers, making her an otherwordly being. She would've been a bard before the deal. There's something really tragic about a storyteller becoming a myth and not being able to tell their tales anymore, and that being reflected by losing bard levels for aberrant mind sorcerer ones after the deal? I think that's really cool. And she isn't fully forgotten in this reality, as Duke vaguely remembers (and believes in) one of her aspects. I think that would be enough for her.
As a last fun fact, the Hollow's lady chappel was really inspired by a scene from Madoka Magica Rebellion. The despair and love Homura has in that scene it's what I was going for. Although unlike Homura, Duke does meet his love turned deity, and he gets to walk home with her <3
#thanks for the ask i'm so sorry for the delay really 😭😭😭#hatchetfield dnd au#hyl answers#hyl doesn't write#i've just remembered that while writing the fic I kept writing curt instead of duke because i had curtwen on my mind fajlksdfadsfa

Jurassic Park
Author: Michael Crichton
Series: Jurassic Park (#1)
Rating: 9/10 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Goodreads: 4.1/5
Date Read: October 2023
'Because the history of evolution is that life escapes all barriers. Life breaks free. Life expands to new territories. Painfully, perhaps even dangerously. But life finds a way.' ----------------------------------
Plot Summary: A large cast of characters including archeologists, mathematicians, lawyers, and a computer expert are invited to an island owned by an eccentric millionaire. Using preserved dinosaur DNA he has recreated magnificent extinct species of dinosaurs and other prehistoric life. the island is under strict security control and all of contingencies have been planned for. Nothing can go wrong. Until it does and hungry carnivorous T. Rexes and Velociraptors escape captivity and start hunting the human visitors. A mixture of bravery and cunning is the only thing that can save the visitor's lives and some are luckier than others.
TL:DR: A book perfectly at the intersection of hard science fiction and action-adventure thriller. The fame and success of the movie, has this book to thank for a solid plot full of action and characters that you love to love and love to hate. The occasional philosophical/scientific rambling can be intimidating, but is balanced by the constantly evolving story.
Characters
John Hammond - the eccentric elderly founder of InGen and Jurassic Park, Hammond is blinded by his ambition to create the biggest spectacle in history by bringing back dinosaurs. He is determined to open an elite amusement park that will attract wealthy patrons. He single mindedly believes that the systems on the island cannot possibly fail and that his experiments are completely safe.
Ian Malcolm - a cynical and biting sarcastic mathematician famous for his teachings on chaos theory a concept that claims that nature is essentially uncontrollable and unpredictable due to the complex systems underlying the natural world. He has made the trip to Jurassic Park to see if his theories are true and to watch John Hammonds 'perfect system' fall. He's surprisingly charismatic for a mathematician and he is an iconic character for a reason.
Alan Grant - famous archaelogist who is known for huge discoveries that uncovered some of the complex group behaviors of ancient dinosaur species. He doesn't see himself as a particularly brave or heroic man, but ends up proving himself to be one of the most reliable, intelligent, and brave visitors on the island.
Ellie Sattler - a paleo-botanist who studies the fossils and records of plant life, she works closely with Dr. Grant She is a woman of action and is always ready to make decisions. She is cool under pressure and willing to take risks
Tim and Lex Murphy - the grandchildren of John Hammond, invited to Jurassic Park as props for Hammond to prove that the park is perfectly safe. Unfortunately they suffer from annoying child character syndrome. Lex screams at the hint of danger. Tim does his best and is a very intelligent boy, but he's a kid and he's useless.
Thoughts and Feelings: This is one of the most iconic science fiction thriller books for a reason and it is one of my favorite books of all time for the same reasons. Crichton's books can swing widely from amazing to terrible, but with Jurassic Park he found a perfect balance between realistic scientific detail and action packed sequences that leave you flipping pages late into the night. I have a special place in my heart for this book because I'm an animal geneticist and this book expounds at length about the genetics of creating dinosaurs and the kind of veterinary care and consideration that would go into making sure they stayed alive. I live with a veterinary student and several times she would ask me something along the lines of "But do they think about how they would vaccinate dinosaurs against modern diseases?" and I had the pleasure of turning to her and saying "In fact, they do." Is it all 100% right. No of course not. It's a book about using DNA found in mosquitoes, slapping some other random animal DNA in there and creating living breathing extinct animals. It's never going to be 100% right. But that's what makes it fun. It's about imagining a world that feels possible. Like the existence of dinosaurs is just around the corner of scientific discovery. If you have never read this book and you loved the movie or you like books that lean more towards hard science fiction than you should absolutely give this book a try.
The characters are enjoyable (for the most part. Children characters in these crisis books are always a bit of a disaster, but what can you do). The action is good. The science is good. There's corporate espionage, dinosaur hunting, dinosaur vet care, high stakes and no holding back when it comes to the vicious strength of top predators.
Ian Malcolm really likes to wax poetic and go on philosophical rants. IF that's your sort of thing than this book has plenty of it for you. If you find yourself zoning off while he talks about chaos theory and the state of humanity in the world, I encourage you to just skim a little bit and get back to it. Just let him ramble.

🌌 Milky Way - What is the character development like for your characters? So they change a lot or not much at all?
I think a lot of my character development is either simple or subtle. I'll put thought into it, but I usually forget to consider it when I'm scripting lol. Riot Kings probably has my most consistent development, but that's mostly because of how long it's been going. I've had plenty of time to consider character arcs and growth
⭐ Star - Do you have a favorite character?
WOW this one is hard. My favorites change daily, depending on what I'm currently writing, who's doing what, etc. I'd have to go by category to even get a little accuracy 😅
Favorite design is probably Cerus. The hair is always 👌👌
Favorite "caretaker" (as in how the character acts while caretaking) is tied between Jeddy and Tansy
Favorite whumpee (most fun to hurt) has gotta be Cerus
Favorite whumpee (best reactions) is probably Lex, but Wes is also fun
And my overall favorite character, (drumroll please) is Nabi. I love her relentless optimism and compassion, and even though she can be naive and not understand the "rules" of the world she lives in, she keeps pushing for a better outcome
#thanks for the questions!!#v fun#for so long ive been focused on 'just write it dont worry about the details' but details are nice#whumpsday#meta#ask game

🌸 ARIANA'S BOOK REVIEW 🌸

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5
Genre: Young Adult, Romance, Contemporary, LGBT (Ace Representation)
📚 Synopsis: Now that Wren Martin is student council president (on a technicality, but hey, it counts) he’s going to fix Rapture High. His first order of business: abolish the school’s annual Valentine’s Day Dance, a drain on the school’s resources and general social nightmare—especially when you’re asexual.
His greatest opponent: Leo Reyes, vice president and all-around annoyingly perfect student, who has a solution to Wren’s budget problem. A sponsorship from Buddy, the anonymous “not a dating” app sweeping the nation. Now instead of a dance-less senior year, Wren is in charge of the biggest dance Rapture High has ever seen. He’s even secretly signed up for the app. For research, of course.
But when Wren develops capital F-Feelings for his anonymous match, things spiral out of control. Wren decided a long time ago that dating while asexual wasn’t worth the hassle. With the Dance rapidly approaching, he isn’t sure what will kill him first: the dance, his relationship drama, or the growing realization that Leo’s perfect life might not be so perfect after all.
In an unforgettably quippy and endearingly chaotic voice, narrator Wren Martin explores the complexities of falling in love while asexual.
📝 Review: I recently had the pleasure of diving into the captivating world of "Wren Martin Ruins It All" by Amanda Dewitt, and I must say, it did not disappoint. From the very first page, I was hooked by Dewitt's impeccable storytelling and relatable characters.
In this delightful novel, we follow the journey of Wren Martin, the witty and ambitious student council president of Rapture High. Wren's mission to abolish the infamously dreaded Valentine's Day Dance at his school sets the stage for a series of hilarious mishaps and unexpected romantic entanglements. But "Wren Martin Ruins It All" is so much more than a comedic high school romance.
Dewitt skillfully weaves in the complexities of love, relationships, and the journey of self-discovery. One of the standout aspects of this book is its refreshing portrayal of asexuality. Wren's exploration and acceptance of his identity as an asexual individual is thoughtfully depicted, shedding light on a topic that is often misunderstood or overlooked.
What truly sets "Wren Martin Ruins It All" apart is the authenticity of its characters. Dewitt has created a diverse cast that is brimming with personality and relatability. From the charming Leo, Wren's vice president, to the quirky and lovable members of the student council, each character feels like someone you could know in real life.
The writing style employed by Dewitt is energetic, humorous, and infused with heart. The pacing is spot on, keeping the reader engaged and eagerly turning the pages. Whether it's the witty banter between characters or the tender moments of self-reflection, the prose effortlessly captures the essence of each scene.
At its core, "Wren Martin Ruins It All" is a story about embracing who you truly are, navigating the highs and lows of teenage life, and learning that sometimes, it's okay to let go and allow yourself to be vulnerable. It's a powerful and heartwarming reminder that love takes many forms, and self-discovery is a journey worth embarking on.
Overall, I highly recommend "Wren Martin Ruins It All" to anyone in search of a captivating and relatable read. Amanda Dewitt has crafted a gem of a novel that seamlessly combines humor, romance, and important themes, leaving a lasting impression. Don't miss out on this delightful book that will make you laugh, swoon, and maybe even shed a tear or two.
🔍 Rec: People who have read ‘The Borrow A Boyfriend Club’ (Page Powars), ‘They Hate Each Other’ (Amanda Woody) and ‘Gwen & Art Are Not In Love’ (Lex Croucher) may like this book.
Thank you Amanda DeWitt, Peachtree Teen and Colored Pages Book Tours for this delightful read. All opinions expressed here are purely my own.

also unless the muse is rai's al ghul. eddie will never cower to another rogue muse. not even joker most of the time. he'll never act like he's "afraid" or that he's lucky to be around the BIG SHOTS⭐ eddie doesn't view the other more popular amongst fans rogues as "superior" or "scarier." in fact, he sees them as equals (some even as inferior) eddie may not be the most physically capable rogue - but goddamn he's smart. if his mouth can't talk himself out of a situation, or he's unable to fight with his fists - he does have his own gadgets, and his own mind, too.
of course, this doesn't mean eddie's going to do much to intentionally get one to try to kill him. no. he's not stupid, and he views altercations with them to be unnecessary unless they're getting in the way of his goals. eddie knows his own worth, and he also knows the other rogues can be of worth to his own ideals, too.
idk i was just thinking about the fucking hush adaptation when ed goes something like "I'M NOT SCARED OF THEM!11!!11!!" in a CRACKING VOICE after bruce accuses him of being scared of the other rogues. which is so fucking stupid given that in the original comic, when eddie was talking about them, he spoke of them in a bored tone, and even calling some of them "idiots." eddie was NOT scared of any of the rogues other than rai's. same with the fucking year of the villain when they had eddie and tut basically treating lex as if he's some Super Star, and even eddie going "i'm A RESPECTED SUPER VILLAIN TOO!!11!!!11" like fuck off.
anyway, obviously, i treat eddie's character with respect, and not as a comedic relief or a punching bag for the other characters.

Superman 2025
(y obvio no, ¿verdad?) Ya veremos como van resultando los siguientes pasos de DC Studios en este nuevo reboot de su universo cinematográfico de comics.
