Youth
By Oliwia Storczyk
Fine Art- Level 3 Year 1
This photo shows my final piece which relates to theme "Youth". I wanted to show joyful effect by showing positivity of identity. I decided to combine two different face profiles to support the style of Brian Calvin, and one of the face remains with his ideas of facial features. I wanted to create a contrast between real facial features and non- natural features. Which makes the whole portraiture look more spontaneous.

This mixed media piece, is my artwork for my final major project that was based around the theme of 'Youth.' I created this piece by developing my ideas and drawing a portrait of myself to represent my own experiences in youth. I painted flowers to symbolise the connection of nature and humans, as well as portray that youth is like the blooming stage of the floral cycle.

The 1890's
By Lydia Free
Fashion and Textiles - Level 3 Year 1
-Look no.3 of my 8 piece collection-
For my Final Major Project, I created 2 final pieces; an 8 piece fashion plate collection, and a garment which was inspired by that collection.
My 8 piece collection focuses on the dynamic between traditional 1890s women's-wear which was the reason I started studying fashion & textiles, and the concept of modesty. These unique designs are partnered with a background of a fashion plate design, which was created with gouache, watercolours, fineliners, and coloured pencils. The designs themselves were also created by using those same materials.

Youth
By Rebecca Pantelescu
Photography- Level 3 Year 1
For this image, I had set my camera to slow shutter speed (F20) to create a double exposure photo. I edited the image in Photoshop to clear out some blurry bits and give it a different texture. This photo shows how every teenager is like nowadays and how attached we are to a phone screen.

Poster ‘Bridge The Gap: Past’ (2/2)
By Reagan Gilbert - Level 3 Year 1, Graphic Design
This is one of two posters I created in response to the theme of “Youth” in my project “Bridge The Gap”.
It depicts a past created by hand being shown how their work has impacted the future. The contrasting styles of Digitalism and Dadaism represent past and present art styles and how one cannot exist without the other. This idea of past and present mirrors how the current generation cannot exist without previous generations and how we need to respect both our past and our present to create our future.

This is one of two Posters i created in response to the theme of “Youth” in my project “Bridge The Gap”.
It depicts a future created by modern technology being reminded of its past. The contrasting styles of Digitalism and Dadaism represent past and present art styles and how one cannot exist without the other. This idea of past and present mirrors how the current generation cannot exist without previous generations and how we need to respect both our past and our present to create our future.

Poster ‘Women’s Rights are Human Rights’
By Julia Klos
Graphic Design - Level 3 Year 1
The theme of youth symbolises the most important period in our lives which shapes our passions, personalities and views. I think this is also one of the hardest periods, especially for teenagers when we encounter with huge criticism of what we do or on our appearance. It is a big problem that leads people to breakdown and depression. I decided to reflect this in my project by making posters and magazine cover. My idea was to support women to make them feel beautiful and strong despite the unworthy words.
1/3 This is my first poster, which I created using quite calm and delicate colours. The main message is that women have the same rights as everyone, which means the equality. I created a photo frame, inspired by the Instax ones with two women inside and I put at the bottom different places because this poster advertises a famous action that takes part there.

2/3 • This is my second poster, which I created for women living in Africa. They are characterized by interesting and exotic beauty but we can also hear about their struggles due to the low development of their countries. That’s why I decided to create this poster especially for them to make them feel more unique and appreciated for their strength and ambition.

Day
by Vojtech Papuga
Graphics - Level 3 Year 1
(¼) For this project, I didn’t just want to create a random illustration. I tried to think of something that would have a message behind it. In the end, I chose to interpret our theme „Youth“ a bit loosely. I decided to draw two artworks focused on young people visiting the elderly. It’s pretty well-known that the elderly tend to be frequently overlooked. I want to show that visiting and helping seniors isn’t a chore.

Denim Day
By Vienna Pearce
Graphic Design - Level 3 Year 1
My poster design is based off of Denim day; A national event which takes place in April and encourages people to wear denim/jeans to raise awareness of rape and sexual assault. I decided to do this topic for my FMP on youth as many teens, younger people and even adults go through traumatic experiences that they feel they can’t speak openly about because of comments like “What were you wearing when it happened?”, “Were you drinking?” etc and that is why this event was created, to stop the “denim” defense to the charge of rape as well as to help people speak up.

Rebellious Youth
Ellie coxon
Fashion and Textiles – Level 3 Year 1
For my final outcome I have made a collection representing the rebellious fashion in youth in the 80s and 90s compared to the youth of the more modern days. I have looked at many reference photos for inspiration on how I should come up with the design ideas. I have chosen to focus on rebellions fashion as I dress in that style very often and feel like I was the most relatable topic I could choose from.
