Is lloyd having back pain, something that canonically stayed with him or did it only appear in a couple of episodes? Also, do you have any hcs about how that affected him? Like if he had to train or fight differently if it was long lasting?

In the show, I think it was only mentioned in Tournament of Elements, and within the show, I think it was just because they were being forced to sleep on the cafeteria tables, but I like to headcanon that he just has back pain. I don't have any specific headcanons for it, but he definitely should go see a chiropractor. Thanks for the ask!

Its so funny that Arin and Sora have shown to have significantly better emotional intelligence than any of the ninja from all of the old seasons combined. "You should be taking care of your mental health" and "yeah saving the world is upsetting! no wonder you're having stress dreams" oh my precious children. You are surrounded by a teen dad with massive self-worth issues, the only one of two people who remembers the genie incident and also turned into the sea once, guy who's died like 3+ times and committed genocide under mind control, and a child soldier who's been living the hard knock life since age 2.

What do you most want to see happen in DR going forward?

Answering a few asks that I didn't know how to answer before just because there's so much to talk about!

I still don't fully know how to answer this, I'm not gonna lie, because thus far about half of the things happen the way I want but like so much stuff happens that I never expected and yet I'm never disappointed, so realistically, whatever they do will be phenomenal!

Personally, though, I would want them to keep Arin with Ras for the entirety of season 3 and more. I also want Jay to stay shattered for longer than a season. I know that this is probably a stretch especially on Jay's part, but a girl can dream. I also hope that they add more Geo lore, not even for the purpose of Geode but because I think that Geo is such an interesting character with so much potential and he deserves his moment to shine as his own character and not just as Cole's boyfriend (even though I love Geode). I also want more Zane! I know there are apparently leaks of him on the box art so hopefully that means we're getting more Zane this season, and if we do, I hope we find out how he got in the Imperium Monastery and I hope we finally get Pixal back! I want Cole or Lloyd to beat the daylights out of Ras. Both of them are completely justified to do so. On the topic of Lloyd, I also want him to continue struggling with the title of Master. Yes, his teaching worked for Sora, and yes, the ninja keep reassuring him that he's suited for the title. But Lloyd lost Arin. And that's huge. The parallels are crazy. I just hope they handle that situation well.

I feel like there's so much more I would want to happen but I've yapped a lot and there's so much that I don't even know how to list it out. Dragons Rising has exceeded my expectations in so many ways and it's only on season 2 so even if some of these don't happen, I know I'll still love it because they manage to blow my mind with every new episode.

Let’s Talk Characters

Misako Montgomery Garmadon (LEGO Ninjago)

Okay, I want to start by saying that this is all my opinion. You do not have to agree and you can comment why but do not turn this into a battlefield.

Long post ahead

First things first, I think she receives too much hate. We don’t actually got to know that much about her throughout the show. He learn she is Lloyd’s mother, an archeologist, and had known Garmadon and Wu for years. What we never see is the effect that everything with Garmadon has on her personally. I want to know how she’d truly feels; she was married to him and they had a kid together. All we get is her comforting Lloyd.

Second, there has to be more to her abandoning Lloyd. We know she was trying to prevent the final battle but that’s it. My running theory is that one day as she was watching Garmadon play with baby Lloyd she got a glimpse/vision of the final battle. So she began researching and devoting hours to finding answers. During this time Lloyd was with Garmadon, that is until he got banished to the cursed realm. Misako contemplated leaving Lloyd with Wu, but came to the decision that would trigger destiny; wether that’s true or just her being anxious is hard to say. And so she left Lloyd at Darkley’s, a corrupt school that fooled parents into believing that their children were being brought up to be model citizens. She tried to keep in contact with her son but Darkley’s prevented that. The next time she sees Lloyd is after he’s been hit with tomorrow’s tea and so she thinks she’s been gone longer than she thought making her feel even more guilty.

After making amends with Lloyd she attempts to be there for him as often as work allows, she would even bring him along if it worked out for both of them. For a while she felt as though everything was perfect and almost forgot about the final battle. But when it finally came all she could do was watch in horror as her son was forced to fight his own father. When Garmadon was cured of the evil she finally felt a sense of relief as he embraced her and Lloyd, but that didn’t last long because he soon sacrificed himself to stop Chen and she never got to say a proper goodbye. Then a couple years later he is revived but it isn’t really him, it’s just pure evil. Even after he begins to regain human emotions he has a stronger connection to a plant and a cameraman from the news. So she, along with Lloyd is learning to move on from her mistakes and heal from the pain. They are just happy to have each other, Wu, and the other ninja.

We are not going to talk about her romantic relationship with Wu, that never happened.

LMK Season 4 special spoilers. I guess??? I think everybody's seen the special or went to find it after a moot talked about at this point tbh

So I'm in the Lego Monkie Kid fandom and I gotta say that people REALLY need to talk more about the other things happening in this special. Shadowpeach this, Shadowpeach that, why are we not talking about Wukong literally tearing through the scroll by force so he didn't have to relive his worst memories? What about Azure's entire arc and inability to control the power he stole????

MY MAN REALIZED HE WAS WRONG AND PROCEEDED TO SELF-SACRIFICIALLY DIE IN THE SPAN OF LIKE 2 MINUTES! AND WUKONG WAS HURT BY IT TOO IT WAS IN HIS FACE AS AZURE FADED AWAY!!!!!

Even if you don't wanna talk heavy plot points the outfits??? Y'all are sleeping on the crew Tang's new haircut rocks.
