Miles: -completely unnecessary. Doing a Steel Samurai reboot so soon after the series ended is a foolish decision, everyone will be directly comparing the two from the moment the first episode drops. I don't believe they even have a fresh direction for the show, the only difference will be the cgi. God forbid we rock the boat and follow a new character! It's abundantly clear to me that the studio executives are cowards.

most of you may know, but I've been super busy with school lately given that I'm graduating this year, sooo I'm predicting it rn I won't be able to write anything for a while 😞

it's not that I don't have free time at all, it's just that everything that's been on my mind lately is shoolschoolschool, and I almost never think of anything else 😭 + I can't find it in myself to have the mental capacity to balance everything I have going on here and aiming to be at the podium once graduation comes around

though I will be posting chapter 6 of push & pull this week, AND maybe a teaser for score his heart?? but idk, we'll see! if I do end up posting both of those, I think that'll be it for a while

I'm so sorry to be letting anyone down, especially those who have been enjoying my ongoing series so far</3 I promise that once I make the time to write in between school and my social life outside of tumblr, I'll be back to writing/posting better than ever!!

The new live-action ATLA looks amazing, incredible, already such an improvement over the movie. But I really hope they don't neglect the lighthearted atmosphere and comedic elements of the original show. I'm okay with a grittier, slightly darker tone because that's just natural for a live action adaptation, but LET ZUKO BE A DUMBASS and LET TOPH BE PETTY and LET AANG BE FUN-LOVING and LET SOKKA BE THE COMEDIC RELIEF

I never used to really think about it, and I don’t necessarily hate it with every fibre of my being, but Lupin x Tonks was just so unnecessary. Like, it’s JKR, so obviously Tonks has to fill her ovary-obeying agenda instead of letting the Flonks ship sail proudly, loudly, and without capsizing, but surely there were other means – like, you know – Charlie or something? At least then we wouldn’t have the peculiar age gap, and even if it’s still legal, the way they were paired was still rather coercive* (at least in the books).

I am once again yoinking faves into the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series.

This time, it’s Jackal (Purrloin) and Ciggma Khint (Absol) from Bravely Default!

I could’ve used Nickit for Jackal, but then decided it would be funnier to have the kid named after a canine be a feline Pokémon. XD Plus, Jackal IS a child still (in BD, he’s only sixteen), and I wouldn’t be surprised if he used his youthfulness (especially when he was just starting out as a thief) to help him steal stuff, like how Purrloin act cute before they nick your stuff. XD

I also made Khint super fluffy because he’s from Eternia, and also because he has long, wavy hair. (He is also very tall for an Absol, much like how he’s amongst the tallest of the asterisk holders in-game. XD)

They’re not really a rescue team, with Khint taking whatever jobs are available and Jackal tagging along because he views Khint as a father figure even if he’d rather die than admit it. (Jackal is also the bane of every Kecleon shop - although he is very careful whenever the urge to steal from them strikes. He may be a reckless teen, but he isn’t stupid.)
