I went here wondering how they would adapt Ichibe's song, and then the first note is spoken and I went "Hey, that sounds like the Japanese voice actor...wait, that IS him!"

THEY JUST USED THE JAPANESE AUDIO.

They couldn't have plugged in another actor to sing? Just had Aaron take a shot at singing? Take an extra week to coach him and prep him? Obviously AI would be unethical, but...maybe autotuning, if you wanted?

THE FUN OF DUBS IS HOW THEY MEET CHALLENGES, AND YOU JUST WALKED AWAY FROM THIS ONE???

But I understand that when they cast him, they were not aware that a Musical Number would be included in the list. At the same time...I feel like most actors have singing capabilities? Though I have had issues with the dub casting (even apart from THAT issue).

Oh yes please.....Jon singing is my favourite asoiaf trope. Even if Martin were to give a little glimpse of Jon singing just one song , I would be happy . Like the winter roses , Jenny of old stones is a Rhaelya symbol in my mind .

I so badly want Jon to learn to sing, I wish he already knew how to sing and it is something he does subconsciously, like bringing food for The Old Bear and he is singing some old Northern song. And no one mentions it to him and it's so natural to him he doesn't even think about it. Like him smiling a sad smile thinking about Robb as Sam was leaving, Sam noticed the smile but Jon didn't. I so badly want it to be canon.

When I was 10, my older brother would play massive D&D campaigns in the living room. He tried teaching me the mechanics but it was too much and too boring for my small brain. Instead, I was far more fascinated with things like Warrior Cats.

Apparently Warrior Cats has a d&d game though. So. The kids would all play that instead!

Dev would eventually be roped into joining. Mainly because when you're sitting with a table of kids doing storytelling, you end up getting very invested, and very frustrated when they make the very wrong choices!!!
