☆ radiostar is playin': hot rod by dayglow...!
summary: There is a prophecy waiting for you to listen to it and although it may not be something you expect or consider possible. You know what they say about prophecies…they can't fail to come true.
warnings: none BUT long read, literally. got out of hand and i couldn't stop writing. that's bad? oh, fuck me, i'm sorry. a/n: i appreciate your request, thank you (although I think I changed it a little, sorry). HEAR ME OUT I feel like I owe a lot of love to those who love Apollo, so that's why I didn't entertain the idea of making this long. Hope you like I know it's long, but I promise I did my best to make it bearable and fun, I swear. 😭
“The sea and the sun are not far away as they look…”
They told you to stay away from the attic of The Big House, but they never told you why.
“Only he can go up”, they said, and it seemed stupid to you because he was your younger brother; you were supposed to protect him.
“It's very dangerous”, they told you while Annabeth went up, even though you were a couple of years older than her.
“Only if you lead some quest, but…” but no, because as the years went by, they made sure to remind you of your place. They told you that you were powerful, smart, and capable, because, yes, you were Poseidon's firstborn, but not the chosen one. That was Percy, your brother. Did it hurt? Yes, as an older sister, you tend to aspire to greatness and be an example, but you didn't die; you got over it.
“What does it matter? Less work for me” you said as you watched your brother's back on all the missions. Anyway, you ended up stuck in his destiny.
“His destiny. But then, what's mine?” you wondered. Then, when you took a step near Rachel Dare's cave, they stopped you too.
“It's–”
“Dangerous.” You completed the familiar phrase with a look of disgust, avoiding Chiron's eyes. He just looked at you with pity, thinking to himself that if you went in there, you could cause more trouble for your father or Olympus… Or everyone; it would be a war among all the Olympians, something they didn't need with Titan Kronos already on their heels.
Dionysus gave you his typical mocking smile, the same one that made you want to grab the can of Diet Coke and throw it right at his disgusting Christmas-reindeer-red nose.
“It would be so interesting, but we don't need it,” he said as he dragged you away from Rachel with Chiron.
You weren't stupid, you knew there was some good reason. But damn, those fossils were sneaky and never let you get to your redheaded companion, who also avoided you like the plague. Between those two things, you never managed to achieve it. Even less so after you ended up fighting on the Argo II with your new friends, straight from real Greece.
Oh, man, if you had thought Kronos was a damn old grump, Gaea was an old ball-buster. You didn't even have time to think about your future when you didn't know if you had one.
After the second war is when you started to throw in the towel about the future. You realized that the last thing you wanted to know at that moment was whether you would have to fight against twelve more Titans, return to Tartarus, or travel to Alaska again.
New Rome became your new home, and you only waited for Percy to catch up with you along with everyone else. That is, until you returned home to pack new things and didn't find your brother studying just as he should be.
— Mom? — You asked when she came back from shopping.
She gave you that look, and you cursed.
— Relax, he'll be back in a while; he just went to drop off Apollo or well, now he's Lester because apparently he's no longer a god but Zeus…
— Wow. Wait, what?
As a hero of Olympus, touching, seeing, or talking to the gods was never impossible for you; in fact, it was much more usual for your taste, and although you had been through too much already, that was new. So, you found yourself immediately traveling to Long Island Sound on the back of a Pegasus, looking for your brother. You wouldn't let Apollo, Lester, or whatever he called himself now take your brother away to distract him with his godly stuff that surely wouldn't lead to anything good.
— Where's Percy?! — You shouted in the dining hall, making the campers flinch.
Chiron got up from his seat, and from there, he smiled at you, but it only put you in a worse mood.
— Dear, it's been a long journey. Please, sit and eat with us.
You lowered your head without taking your eyes off Chiron and tightened the dagger on your belt. There was no reason for it, you knew, but you couldn't help feeling that fury after knowing everything you had been through. Percy deserved a break.
— Where's my brother? — The pause between words made the campers squirm in their uncomfortable seats. They had heard about you, about everyone. to be exact, in the third lesson of history in their camp classes.
— He left Apollo and Meg in a field not far from here — Chiron decided to sit back down and began to spread the tablecloth nervously. — He probably should have already reached home while you were flying here.
You sighed, and as you relaxed your body, everyone seemed to feel relieved.
— He has exams, Chiron — He nodded, and you made your way to the table where he was.
— In fact, there are problems, and apparently, he promised to come back this weekend — Your eyebrows furrowed again, and Dionysus laughed.
— Girl, shouldn't you be in New Rome?
— I went home for a few more things, also taking the opportunity to see my family, and it turns out that my little brother was helping an ex god who can't fend for himself, risking his studies. — You replied without looking at him — And speaking of brothers, you should control yours, Mr. D.
The god of wine snorted, and you formed a mocking smile. — Insolent.
— Miss Jackson — Chiron intervened, and you softened your gaze toward him — You can stay tonight, you know you're welcome and after all, it's too late to travel on Pegasus.
You didn't argue with them; you'd never put your pegasus in danger. So, for the first time in a long time, you returned to your cabin, the same one you shared with Percy and Tyson for so many years, and you had to admit that you missed him. At dawn, you were preparing to travel, and you left at the moment you thought no one was watching you, how wrong you were because a few meters away, Apollo was hidden behind the cabin piles, admiring you from afar.
— She… — He felt his heart tighten, and his gaze unfocused. He cursed his mortal body for how weak it was.
— Pervert! — Meg shouted, alerting the other campers who turned confused, and Apollo blushed.
— Shut up, I'm not a pervert — He smiled exaggeratedly at the others, pretending a smile and letting them know that everything was fine.
— You saw her — Said a voice behind him once Meg was far enough away to hear. The brunette turned and smiled sheepishly.
— For a second — Apollo replied, avoiding his old friend's gaze; embarrassment nibbled at his body, and it became evident once his cheeks glowed.
Chiron had never seen him… like that, so young, embarrassed, and notably imperfect, but despite Apollo's opinions about his recent change, he thought it suited him well, even found it amusing.
— You remember…
— I remember it well, Chiron — Apollo blushed even more — That's why I didn't approach her; dealing with my father's wrath is enough. Now I don't want to annoy Poseidon or I'll probably wake up dead on the lake shore tomorrow.
He played with the tips of his sneakers as buried them in the rocks on the floor; he looked like a scared little boy, but Chiron didn't judge him.
— I think you know what it means when she's around when you're close.
The ex god didn't want to pay attention, but he knew he was right.
— Although I remember who she is… there’s a problem. I don't remember how to avoid her…— Apollo's blue eyes looked directly at Chiron's, and the urgency on his face told him he was telling the truth. — If I don't know now, it's going to be harder; all I can do is hide if she's near.
— We've lasted many years with this circus, and as much as I respect the lord of the seas, I don't think this will last long. And you know what's more stubborn than a son of the sea god?
— The sea god — Apollo raised his eyebrows in annoyance, and Chiron resisted rolling his eyes.
— Fate, Apollo. You know it well, things are written. The prophecy is still there; it exists, and all we've done is delay the inevitable.
The brunette nodded with annoyance and waved his hand dismissively.
Although he wanted to pretend that he didn't care, the anxiety of what was to come ate at him. He knew very well that it wouldn't take long for you to discover what all these years had been hidden from you. If Apollo reflected better on that, he wasn't sure he wanted to continue keeping it to himself, either, 'cause those years had been torture for him. Yeah, he knew that you weren't yet mature enough for your mind to be stained with the weight of a prophecy that, unlike the others, not had to do with some quest or some imminent danger that threatened the entire world; but now you are in college, he couldn't wait for you to know.
The thing was, your father thought that the one who could be in danger was you, his precious daughter since Apollo was selfish, arrogant, and immature to have been around for eons. Poseidon could not fully explain the reason The Fates had woven such a destiny for you. So, until things had and could happen at the right time, in the right way, he warned Apollo to be close to you and he knew so well that be such an idiot idea to make him angry.
Before his thoughts could swallow him, Apollo shake them off and sigh to Chiron.
— Right now, I have a bigger problem. I think we've found something.
— Where?
— Here — Chiron frowned, and Apollo looked towards the camp's forest. — My dear friend, you have the Grove of Dodona here, in your playground.
Apollo didn't know that of all the decisions he had made in his life, avoid you was the best one he could make, because even if you had met that day or before, with the things that were about to happen to him, he wouldn't come back as half the man he was.
“Things at the moment, in time” the fates whispered in some place.

Train Nights - Lester Papadopoulos x Reader
I decided to put my Wattpad fanfics on Tumblr so that if someone doesn't have wattpad they can still see them, also I'm hoping this gives me more motivation to write more :) Thanks if your deciding to read this. (also side note - I have just copied and pasted the entire thing, but this is my own writing, also my wattpad account is "funnyp1".
Little note from me first: So I like the idea of them being on a quest and y/n is sleeping and looks cold so Lester gives her his jacket - also I'll be having a few of these be set on a train and most of them at night but I might change that but anyways let's take a moment and ignore the fact that apollo is REALLY old and this might not at all be in character for ANY of the characters because I am not a good writer but let's give this a try anyways also tysm for reading 😘 <3
Lester POV:
It was getting late and we were still on this insufferable quest. Why Zeus? Why? The train ride was going to last overnight but I didn't think I would be able to sleep at all, I was pondering my existence while looking out the window when I felt a weight on my shoulder, I was about to lash out at whoever interrupted my divine thoughts and curse them for eternity. If I was still a god I could smite them in seconds, but when I turned I was surprised to see y/n leaning against me asleep, I felt the blush on my face as I studied the way her lips moved to puff out the air she breathed in through her nose and how her eyelashes fluttered gently. Did she always have that little freckle? and how were her lips so perfect? I really want to kiss her. Should I kiss her? I was honestly considering it before Meg interrupted my daydreaming, Is it daydreaming if it's at night? Never mind that. "You're staring" Meg stated, "I am not!" I said blushing fiercely and looking away "You totally like her" she pestered "Shut up, she could hear you!" I replied, "Come on, just admit it" "I don't have to admit anything I am a god" She looked me up and down humored by my mortal appearance and said "Sure, well I'm going to try to get some sleep, don't do anything stupid lover boy" She slouched down and put her feet up on the seat in front of her, I would have to teach her a lesson on manners once I was back to my divine self, her loud snores let me know that she was in fact asleep.
It wasn't until a few minutes later that my thoughts were once again interrupted this time by y/n shivering in her sleep, I could feel her shaking against my shoulder and hear her teeth chattering, her once peaceful expression turned someone sour but beautiful nonetheless I thought to myself. It pained me to see her so distraught so I removed my jacket being careful not to wake her and laid it over her tucking the edges around her, I put my arm around her holding her close, and leaned my head on hers as I drifted into sleep, knowing that we were both safe and warm.
Y/N POV: (This is her pov from the time of Lester's)
I stared forward as time passed on the train, It was getting later and I could feel my eyelids getting heavy, I yawned, and before I fell asleep I remember leaning over and resting my head on something soft, but before I could further investigate, I was swept into a dream. (I'm so sorry I can't come up with a dream so plz just imagine your typical horrifying demigod dream) I was about to be awoken by the cold when I felt a warmth and an arm around me, I smiled at the feeling and fell back to sleep, but this time I had no dreams or nightmares. It was the first peaceful sleep I had in a long time, I felt myself moving as near to the warmth as I could and the grip around me tightened pulling me closer.
I woke up feeling the sun shining through the window, I could hear someone talking and once I adjusted my vision I saw Meg slouching in the seat on my left, she seemed annoyed with whatever Lester had said, but that was not out of the ordinary. That's when I noticed that Lester had his arm around me and his jacket was over me like a blanket, I blushed a little and moved my head off of his shoulder to face him, "Oh, you're awake" he said. I nodded and then realized that his arm was still around me and we were rather close, he seemed to notice too and became extremely flustered as he removed his arm and spoke "Sorry" "It's ok" I replied taking his jacket off me, and handing it to him "here" he quickly grabbed it and tried to hide the blush on his face. "How did you sleep?" he asked "Better than usually" was the best answer I could give, "how about you?" "Surprisingly no nightmares" he responded smiling, I smiled back at him.
Lester POV:
Wow, she looks so beautiful. Should I kiss her? I was trying to drown out the thoughts in my head but I couldn't ignore it, go for it, Lester! I went for it. I sent a silent prayer to anyone who was listening that she felt the same and wouldn't hit me, I looked into her eyes, then down to her lips, and back to her eyes, and then I quickly leaned over and pecked her lips. When I pulled back I was sure my face was as red as a tomato, I looked at y/n and her face was somewhat pink she looked shocked but also maybe happy? Let's hope she's happy. That little kiss wasn't enough for me though, I took another chance and grabbed the sides of her face gently and quickly brought it to mine, I could feel the fireworks go off as our lips met, she was paralyzed with confusion at first but soon kissed back. I knew in that moment that no matter what happens on this quest as long as I'm with y/n I'll be okay.
Sorry that this one kind of ended weirdly, I hope u enjoyed it though! 😁 (characters belong to Rick)

hey, ik requests are closed but if you could do this one, i'll be very grateful. just remember, if you don't want to, you don't have to.
i was thinking if post-trial apollo, meets the reader, after the trial (can the reader be a child of Hades? like a child of Hades would be so iconic), love at first sight (fuck, why is this so cliche 😭😭) and tries to spend more time with the reader. the reader is new to the entire camp thing, and is getting more used to it, and grows closer to Apollo. but he's like scared to admit he's in love bc he thinks, that just like all his past lovers, the reader would run away, or kill herself, or fall into deep trouble, but after some really had event in which he almost loses y/n, he goes all haywire, confessing everything and it becomes a cute, fluffy scene together
AGAIN ik you aren't taking in requests, so if you don't want to do it, it's totally fine. love so many of your fics btw ♥️♥️
i love you, isn't that the worst thing you've ever heard?
— apollo/lester x child of hades!reader
warnings: none a/n: Hello beautiful person. You're seeing this, now you know that I take your request and I want to say why and it's because you asked me so nice that I couldn't resist. I have corazón de pollo which is something like being very sensitive or being warm-hearted. Anyway, let me know if you liked it. I hope it was like that and thank you for reading me, for your support. ❤️ Kisses from Pluto! ha ha
Your legs settled back over Apollo’s knees, and he kept them in place with his hands, letting out a snort.
— You’re pretty comfortable with a god, aren’t you? — His pretentious tone just made you smile and shrug.
— You didn’t move my feet, did you? — you replied in the same tone, and he leaned against the cabin wall. It was true, and if it were up to him, he never would.
— Whatever…— he muttered, watching you lie back down, putting your attention back on a comic book Will Solace had lent you, saying it was based on one of his favorite movies, which made you interested in reading it. You thought you and Will weren’t that different, and you liked him but not in ‘that’ way, just as a friend. After all, Will was becoming part of the family with your brother Nico because they seemed to have something slowly brewing.
— How many times have you said I love you?— you asked out of the blue, still not taking your eyes off the comic. Apollo almost choked on his own saliva.
— What’s that about? — he said evasively. He didn’t want to talk about it because if he remembered correctly, all those times had ended badly. He tried to catch your eyes but found the glossy cover of the comic in the way.
You shrugged and turned the page, continuing with the same topic.
— I heard Nico say that to Will once when they thought I was out of our cabin, but I was just in the bathroom.
— Hmmm. And?
— Nothing, just that Nico doesn’t say it often. I’ve only heard him say it to his sister Bianca, his real sister. Also to Hazel, to me, and to Will.
Now Apollo understood but played dumb.
— I don’t know.
You tapped his thigh with your foot.
— Of course you do.
And obviously, he did, but stayed silent, hoping the comic would distract you enough.
— I think they’re falling in love — you stated, laughing at something you read. Apollo could never understand how demigods managed with ADHD; now, it just seemed like a curse.
— Well, I suppose.
His half-hearted responses annoyed you, and you put the comic down with a frown, and he apologized with his eyes.
— Have you fallen in love recently?
That question threw him off. Apollo gently moved your legs aside to sit on the edge of the bed with his heart racing and a pout on his face.
— Where are you going? — you asked, concerned, setting the comic aside and sitting next to him. Apollo smiled sheepishly. He didn’t like lying to you, but whenever you started guiding the conversation that way, he had to find a way to escape.
— I need to do something in olympus, they just told me.
You made a face and nodded. You never got involved in that; after all, he was a god.
In the end, Apollo sat moodily on his throne, watching time pass at Camp Half-Blood. Since his return as the sun god, things had changed in his heart, so he found himself more in that place despite what the gods said, which reminded him of when he met you.
You had recently arrived and caught attention for reaching an age where any demigod would have died, but shortly after, if not the same day, everyone knew you weren’t just any demigod. You were a child of Hades. Of course, the most delighted with this was Nico, who welcomed you and made sure you were never alone.
Things were fresh, so Apollo ended up in your close circle until it became very close. If Apollo was at Camp Half-Blood, you were with him, and it didn’t take long for him to fall in love with you, though you hadn’t realized it yet.
You felt safe growing up by his side; no one would mess with you since you were a child of the big three and a close friend of a god. Some fools judged you for your company, but they were afraid to approach when you were – according to Apollo – an adorable person.
The god watched through the fire as you thrived in camp after his unexpected departure, and to him, you were doing too well, though some things were too good for his liking, and he couldn’t deny it; you were charming in more than one way, which obviously attracted campers like Harley, that son of Hephaestus who sometimes gave you cute things like that pomegranate made of metal leaves. A gift that seemed very familiar when he saw Leo flirting with Calypso.
Leo flirting with Calypso.
Leo flirting.
The god stood up and admired the scene closely. Harley had blushed cheeks while giving you the gift, and you smiled gratefully. No way, he knew the sons of Hephaestus were bold, but he never imagined someone would be so obvious with you due to your lack of understanding of indirect hints. They approached but never that close, and he should have guessed, but also, he wasn’t one to get angry.
You received the gift and admired it closely, but only thanked him briefly, which seemed enough proof of your affection to the son of Hephaestus, something Apollo obviously loathed as well as keeping him awake the rest of the night.
He didn't know why (well he did) but the god ended sitting at the dining pavilion, his nails digging into the table.
— Everything okay? — Your voice snapped him out of his trance, and he smiled. You always seemed to have a radar for when he was near.
— Will fell in love with Nico, and Nico with him. Do you think they both realized it or just one?— His question took you by surprise, and more than making you think twice, it excited you that he finally answered that kind of question since he always seemed to have a repulsion to them.
You sat beside him, and Apollo gave you a sweet look, waiting for your answer.
— Maybe Nico and Will know, but Will could be waiting for Nico to give clear signals about it.
— Maybe Nico is scared.
— Does he think Will isn’t?
You both fell silent. It was clear; it was in the air, you weren’t really talking about your brother and Will.
— What’s the worst thing he could say to Will? — you asked, your hand reaching for Apollo’s to intertwine your fingers. The blonde swallowed and suddenly felt breathless.
— I don’t know, but I can think of something.
Apollo made a face and turned a little more towards you, his cheeks red and his eyes shiny. He was afraid of hurting you, of things not working out as they did with his previous lovers; he could never afford to make you suffer when he already knew the degree of consequence it would have in his life, but beyond his good or bad karma, he cared about you. He loved you enough never to try to have you.
Your patience was reaching its limit, and although the son of Hephaestus was cute, sweet, a good match… your heart belonged to someone since the first moment you saw him.
—Apollo… —your voice called him with a bit of seriousness, a peculiar tone that made the god realize his time for redundancies was over.
— I love you, isn’t that the worst I could say?
Your eyes widened with hope, and you moved a little closer to him, bumping knees.
— From Nico to Will? — you asked, not wanting to humiliate yourself.
Apollo’s blue eyes examined you suspiciously. The responsibility would fall on him; he was never the best at hiding his feelings, but if your happiness depended on it, the first moment he saw your life in danger, he wouldn’t hesitate to disappear from it. For now, a confession was something very innocent.
The sun god turned to you with a bit more evident confidence and didn’t let go of your hand; instead, he kissed it.
— No. From me to you…

a/n: hi baby, thank you for you sweet sweet SWEET words. don't worry, heres your girl. enjoy bby.
✧
You felt like a real nymph. You know, those ones sitting by the rivers on a rock with the water trickling over their toes and the sun bathing their skin, but mostly for the company they used to have. You glanced over, and even though he was still focused on his thing – pursing his lips and grumbling – you thought he'd never looked better.
You wondered how you ended up like this and fixed your gaze on the way the water bounced the light. It was funny because Apollo used to boast so much about how handosome he looked that you ended up trying to avoid him, even disliking him (nothing new among other campers), but now he was definitely a new person.
Lester or Apollo, whichever name he preferred, now presented himself with less pretense, and the simplicity of both his appearance and attitude seemed ten times more attractive.
He let his golden curls mingle with the chestnut ones, kept those eyes as blue as the sky, and toned down the exaggerated muscles for a more athletic body. You knew he had truly changed when he left some of the scars he had acquired during his quest, setting aside the perfect texture of his skin.
You hugged your knees and felt the urge to sink into him; his beauty was so ethereal that you resisted reaching out to confirm that he was real, that he was indeed beside you, creating beautiful sounds with the lyre and that you weren't delusional. He was like a dream, he was a dream. God, you could think about that all day.
Do, re, do...
His eyes were fixed on every note he made resonate on the instrument, as if he feared making a mistake, as if he weren't the god of it all.
Totally distracted, his hair began to cascade like a curtain of gold and bronze. You leaned in gently, and before you knew it, you were already running your fingers through his hair behind his ear. He immediately looked up at you, and the tension in his gaze eased, almost you could see a smile. Were you that remedy for him as he had become for you?
— Darling — minutes had passed in silence before he said it just audibly, the sun beautifully lit up his eyes, leaving you breathless. His hair brushed against your fingertips back, resisting being contained, or maybe, that small gesture was enough to make you lose the strength to take something as light as that. You just smiled at him.
You were good friends, but you no longer felt that way, how is it possible to fall in love with a god? If that was one of the views their ex-lovers had, now you understood all the parents of Apollo's cabin children. Ugh, you felt bad for having that thought and hugged yourself again as you watched him return to the lyre.
— This melody...— he said, breaking the silence, —it always comes out better when I'm in love.
You rested your head on your knees as you tightened your grip on them.
— But it sound beautiful.
And he nodded with a radiant smile. Wait, was he in love?
— Oh,— your disappointment choked you, and you raised your eyebrows pretending interest. — Who is it?
Apollo closed his eyes, letting out a laugh, shaking his head mockingly as if it were obvious and you had to know the answer. That annoyed you, how the hell were you supposed to know who he was in love with if he could be there and in Alaska at the same time?
— You're hopeless, aren't you?— He left the lyre by his side, and it was his turn to crawl towards you. You lowered your gaze, watching as the lake snaked, you could almost see your chances being dragged away by it. He touched your shoulder to get your attention, and you wanted to resist, you didn't want to see him, it was embarrassing.
— What? — you snapped.
— You get in a bad mood so quickly — he teased, affectionately taking your hand, making your heart race even though you knew it wasn't uncommon for him, that's just how he was, so you just sighed. He smiled, trying to find your eyes as you avoided them, then he leaned back and directed your hand to his cheek for you to cradle him, Apollo didn't stop pleading until you looked at him. — It's been better since I met you.
You returned your gaze to him, confused. How could he say that so calmly and with those sparkling eyes? Damn the way he looked at you, you wanted everything from him.
Apollo kissed your knuckles and traced your arm with small kisses, when he started laughing, he stopped to look into your eyes once more.
You weren't a nymph, to him, you were a goddess.
— And do you love me? — he asked, innocently.
You knew the answer.

a/n: Hello, to know if my requests are open, it usually says in my description or in my pinned post. Fortunately, your request came in before I closed them so it's fine. Thank you!
Things had changed at Camp Half-Blood. Some campers you used to hang out with were gone, and even though it wasn't forever, you missed them. You stayed year-round, stuck with the others who, while not bad company, just didn’t click with you, and you couldn’t figure out why.
— Ha, ha. Piper McLean's best friend — you heard behind you and rolled your eyes dramatically, fed up with it all.
— Yeah, tell us. If she has so much money, why doesn’t she take you out of here and bring you with her?
You weren’t surprised by their accusations; it was almost routine. Today, they picked on your friendship with Piper; another day, it’d be Annabeth or Jason. When they wanted to show off, it’d be Percy and Nico, and when they were really unbearable, Frank, Leo, Hazel, or even Will. But no matter what, the cherry on top was always...
— Or your god friend.
There it was, of course.
— Yeah, they say it’s Apollo — mocked a girl who seemed to be a daughter of Hermes. Had you ever gotten along with any of them? Maybe the Stoll brothers, but now only one twin was at camp, probably too busy dealing with ten other kids to keep his sister in line.
You never denied or confirmed anything; it was easier that way, but sometimes they were annoying. You wondered if they skipped the awful welcome video that ended with: A safe place for everyone.
In the end, they weren’t doing anything different from any public school, but it was worse: The outcasts bullying an outcast.
— Get lost, will you? — you sighed tiredly, and they let out a long "Oooh" that made your hand itch to strike.
—What? — challenged an Aphrodite girl with her hands on her hips. — Are you going to attack us with rainbows, little Hebe girl?"
— Maybe she took the 'little' part too seriously,— mocked another, a Demeter kid, and you wondered if you could burn all his crops with light projection, but you dismissed the idea. You’d never stoop to their level.
— Wow, great joke, Lionel. It’s not like you’ve told me that a thousand times already. — Your sarcasm made him angry, and he took a step towards you, ready to fight. That was the great part about camp; no one was truly defenseless except the newcomers, so challenging someone was easy, but you ignored him and headed to your cabin.
—Stop — commanded the Aphrodite girl, and you felt a sudden stiffness in your legs that made you fall to your knees. Their charm speak.
You heard the laughter behind you and squeezed your eyes shut, trying to relax when a dull thud interrupted their laughter, turning it into groans. At the sudden change, you looked over your shoulder and saw them on the ground, piled on top of each other, blinking repeatedly. You’d seen that effect a few times but never thought it could be that.
— Good thing you were looking the other way — said a voice, startling you. Next to you was him, his curly brown hair and blue eyes you liked to see, but only secretly.
—Apollo — you breathed in disbelief, making him smile. He tried to take your hand, but you pulled away, blushing. He understood; it wasn’t the moment, but he wasn’t going to stand by either.
—You — he turned, his Converse kicking up dust as he walked to them. The Demeter kid clicked his tongue at the sight of a tall, skinny guy with brown hair and blue eyes. He found it trivial, but campers watching from afar started murmuring.
—Who are you?— he asked, and at the same time, one of Hephaestus’ sons, Harley, came out of his cabin due to the noise. Seeing the guy, his eyes widened.
—LESTER?— he shouted so loudly Mount Olympus might’ve heard. The god smiled amicably. The other three looked confused.
— Is that your name?— asked the Hermes girl in a tone the old Apollo would never have forgiven. He narrowed his eyes but then just nodded.
— Yeah, let’s say it is. Or at least one of my names — he smiled, but it wasn’t a warm smile; it was full of disdain. — They call me that, but leaving that aside, know my name it's not helpful to you 'cause I’m also known for not tolerating injustice.
—Uuh— mocked the Demeter kid, and Apollo’s eyes bore into him.
— I’ll tell your mother — he accused, and the kid swallowed hard. —I know her well. Now...
He straightened up, looking down at them. One tried to get up, and Apollo snapped his fingers, pinning him to the ground again, which scared them, making them wonder if there was a child of some god of gravity around.
— Don’t bother this young lady anymore, and let me clarify something — he looked at you challengingly, making you blush, — yes, I’m her friend but not just that, she’s my-
Enough — you interrupted nervously, and he smiled apologetically. Right, boundaries. He was learning that with you.
— Anyway, You need to stop. — he said firmly, and the three kids raised an eyebrow.
— Friend? When did I say that...— the Hermes girl recapped her words and realization hit her, — No.
Apollo nodded.
— Yes.
The dark way he said it sent a shiver down their spines, and he raised an eyebrow as he leaned towards the Hermes girl.
— And I’d recommend being careful with names. Ann, also daughter of Marlene.
Despite being the god of the sun, the coldness in his voice was relentless, and fear gripped them violently, making them run away screaming like babies.
The campers who knew him approached to say hello, but before he gave them his attention, he came up to you.
— Don’t let them do that anymore — he whispered in your ear, and you nodded. His hand caressed your cheek, and you smiled the smile he loved, resisting the urge to kiss you in front of everyone.
— See you — you said, watching him get dragged away by the other campers.

☆ radiostar is playin': a 1000 times by hamilton leithauser + rostam…!
warnings: if you had already read trials of apollo… none, mentions of death (you know who) taglist: @emidpsandia
Five months.
Five months had passed since you couldn't have a good night's sleep. At first, it bothered you as they were just visions of something you didn't understand, then… upon seeing those brown curls, blue eyes.
His blue eyes were filled with determination, he was going to do it. Your heart raced, and you denied it while trying to do something, although you knew it was useless.
If Apollo let that arrow pierce him, everything would end, but he would save his friends (who were also yours), then your heart skipped a beat, seeing him like that; with his hands fighting his own survival instinct, the arrowhead threatening to sink deeper into his chest. All for Meg, for Jason and Piper. You realized he was indeed changing.
When one of those strange creatures approached him trying to remove the arrow, he clenched his lips and forcefully plunged it into his chest. Without a word. His blood soon soaked his shirt and you saw him fall to his knees.
—Apollo! —You woke up screaming one night and your roommate at the New Rome campus looked at you closely from her desk, and you knew she wasn't doing it because was friendly, but because it was too recurrent.
— Again —she said with noticeable annoyance in her voice as she went back to writing in her notebook. You settled back into your bed and covered your face in embarrassment, Romans could be too cold.
For almost the rest of the night, you tossed and turned in your bed trying to calm your breathing, you simply couldn't get used to it.
“In fact, it's quite normal, sister…” Percy said months ago, with a nervous expression. He knew exactly what was happening, but he preferred you to figure it out on your own, something you had already done more than enough by now.
You worried about your friends and you couldn't stay still, especially after what you just dreamed. But there was no way to communicate with them, apparently any form of communication had been failing for a while, and if everything went to hell…
You touched your chest at the same spot where Apollo had plunged the arrow, it was as if you could feel that pain too. You closed your eyes and only imagined him. His brown curls that played peculiarly with the blue eyes. Some freckles surrounded his nose and the pimples added a special touch, although you must have found him unattractive, over time you found him adorable. Your brain battled daily with the mix of feelings it had to process, and then another question attacked you overwhelmingly.
If that was shown to you, could he have also had a dream about you? And if so, what would he have seen? Maybe you studying, staying up those nights when the university cruelly took you by the neck or when visions of him and Meg roamed your mind, leaving you with so many questions. You grabbed the sheets anxiously and felt heat in your cheeks, did he see when you cursed him the first nights?, when you started crying for him?, when you started longing for him? You sighed and covered yourself up to your nose.
"One will long while the other fight, nothing more to do even if you try."
Everything still felt stupid, senseless, but you wanted to know.
And although you didn't know it, the answer was yes, and even if it wasn't as often as your visions, Apollo didn't need more to love you. Over time, on his mission, that feeling had only grown and matured.
He wouldn't lie to himself, he was at your knees the first time he saw you. But his layers of selfishness and superiority only forced him to see you as a mere mortal, probably capable of making him probably happy, all looking at him unilaterally and as an experiment. Considering that, he looked back, and he understood perfectly Poseidon and all those who doubted that prophecy, because of his ways and the risk that such a beautiful person as you would run.
Apollo only hoped that would change from now on with the new vision he had, being honest with himself, especially because now he not only wanted to be loved, but also to love you, to make you happy. He wanted to be a good man for you and he would not stop working for that.
Neither of you was prepared to face the following week. You just made your way through the crowd, spotted Reyna and Frank up front with hardened looks, but you could see Frank biting his lips, which never indicated anything good. Hazel made her way through the crowd and everyone looked to the center, you resisted the urge to run when you saw Apollo in the middle as the center of attention along with Meg, both holding hands and looking tired. Beside him, a coffin. And if they had traveled from afar to get to Camp Jupiter…
The world seemed to stop when Apollo's voice spread as much as it could singing the news, and while everyone held a scream, he made everyone's fear real. Jason was dead.
You couldn't believe it, five months, and the first time you saw Apollo again was carrying the coffin of one of your friends. You just ran back to New Rome again.
—Come on, get out of there —Reyna said, after Hazel tried for an hour. That was playing dirty because you couldn't refuse Reyna, the scandal that would be made in the dormitories would be too much. You opened the door. Both girls sighed in relief and hugged you.
—What the hell, Reyna? —You sobbed and looked into the eyes of the brunette. She just bit her lip, but her watery eyes betrayed her. Hazel just kept that face where she tried to control herself.
—We'll talk about it later, okay? I think you have pending issues that need to be addressed. You know Lester is here.—You frowned, and your teary eyes started shedding new tears.
—What? —Your voice broke in the middle of the word and Reyna took you by the cheeks, nodding, trying to calm you down.
—We'll cry and celebrate the funeral as it should be. But we're still here, you're still here.—Hazel nodded and both dragged you back to your bedroom, closing the door behind them.
—I think if you don't talk to him, he won't be able to concentrate and he'll end up ruining everything—Reyna said with a hint of humor in her tone while she braided your hair. Hazel wiped away your tears and smiled weakly.
—Oh, How? —You didn't remember sharing anything with anyone.
—The last time Percy came—Hazel laughed seeing your expression and you closed your eyes trying not to curse your brother.
—He's a damn gossip —You muttered.
New Rome had never looked so empty and sad, you walked through the almost empty streets and saw the vendors holding a sad smile on their lips. Then, you looked at him and it was like looking at light in a dark place.
—Um, Hi —he said, cheeks noticeably flushed. His hands were hidden behind his back, and he constantly swayed back and forth on his heels and tiptoes. You had no idea how you should react.
—Apollo?—your surprise was too evident and he didn't avoid nervously smiling, you took a step and he took another step back, preventing you from getting closer. You raised an eyebrow and Apollo showed what he had hidden behind his back, which was a bunch of freshly cut flowers. He had asked Meg to grow a few for you.
Seeing that this time, you didn't try to advance towards him, he felt embarrassed because he had probably crossed a line and tried too hard to his luck.
—I'm sorry, —he took another step back— I just know you don't feel so much revulsion towards me and they told me you know, well, I…— He fell silent feeling your arms carefully wrapping around his torso and that confirmed to him that you had also had those visions, there would be no other way for you to know about his wound.
His scent flooded your senses, it was a kind of mixture between soap and cologne that they probably would have lent him after showering upon arrival. Although your head was resting on his shoulder, you could hear his heartbeats almost shouting in your ear and Apollo never felt so close to dying, even with those difficult months on his back, visible on his skin with every mark and scar, some visible in places where the clothes didn't cover. When he placed a hand on your back closing the hug, you reaffirmed your grip, you had never held someone like this before.
Apollo didn't know how to react. His hands started sweating and he prayed not to do anything dumb, but the butterflies in his stomach didn't seem to be helping. Never in so many years did he feel like he had arrived at some home until you hugged him like that, and the least he wanted to do was make you feel the same.
When he couldn't resist the urge to look at your face anymore, he pulled away and you looked at him attentively, although in your mind you were still dealing with processing that. Were you already lovers? Were you something? It was hard to know because you had never exchanged more than two words.
—I think I've dreamed about you at least a thousand times—He said, laughing painfully struggling, so his voice wouldn't break. He felt terribly sorry that his meeting with you wasn't merely another stop on his mission, even without knowing what the result of all this would be and especially that the emotional disposition of both of you was fragmented by Jason's death, he feared you would blame him, but you didn't.
You smiled, and his knees failed him. He didn't want all that to stop him from having a couple of moments with you, after all, he wasn't a hundred percent sure of coming out of it safely either and, but yes, that if he had to give his life for others… even he surprised himself by not hesitating for two seconds.
—Me too—You admitted and took the flowers from his hand, keeping your gaze on the ground and he sought your eyes, he leaned down to your height and with his index finger on your chin gently lifted your head. He didn't know where he got that bold move from, but shortly after, Apollo felt his face burning.
—I don't have much time, nor will I be around for long because nothing is close to ending, but I want to spend with you the time I can.— Even though Apollo sounded determined and very serious about it, you let out a small laugh. He was completely flushed and biting his lips eagerly.
It seemed fair to you. And so it was, you took any opportunity to be together, to get to know each other and talk. never talked about the prophecy or what happened before because you could do that later, what mattered now was being able to share. To be honest, Apollo was also about to die at Camp Jupiter, but at least you could help him, be by his side and when they finished dealing with a bunch of zombies…
—I'll see you…—He wanted to say “soon” but he couldn't lie to you. He stroked your cheek and smiled shyly. His cinnamon curls waved with the breeze that brought the smell of your perfume and Apollo never wished so much to kiss you, but he had to resist.
—We still have things to talk about…—He nodded and you pulled him from the edge of his sweater to hug him.
Meg rolled her eyes while Reyna, Hazel, and Frank looked like the audience of a wedding, the son of Mars seemed to be on the verge of tears.
—It's just that he's so…—He blew his nose and Hazel stroked his arm.
—Don't get distracted by this. My wife has to graduate—He joked as he let go of your hand. You raised an eyebrow and smiled.
—I never said I was going to marry you.—Apollo nodded with a stupid smile and began to walk towards the camp's exit, he turned his head and widened his smile even more. He didn't want to stop seeing you until he really had to.
—But come back! —You shouted and he said goodbye, waving his hand. When he turned his gaze forward, fear invaded him.
“Do you think you can do it, Apollo?” Python asked in his dreams the night before. “Maybe just imagining her dressed in white is all you have”
—We will achieve it—Meg said, taking his hand, which he thanked.—You will see her again and you will do your stupid little romantic things.—Apollo let out a nervous laugh and nodded with tears on the edges of his eyes.
—Of course.

warnings: none n/a: i'm so fuckin' proud of the prophecy i created. it's all, thank you. taglist: @emidpsandia
You arrived when the fun was already over, or well, something like that.
As soon as you got off Pegasus, your heavy steps echoed through the gravel, and the glasses of water belonging to some tired campers rattled at your presence. Percy turned around when he noticed everyone staring at him as if he was about to die soon. Despite being surprised by a tornado of water glasses swirling where the dining hall was supposed to be, he feared more the way you were looking at him. It took him quite a bit not to step back to avoid humiliating himself.
— Percy, what the fuck?! — You shouted, and he nervously smiled.
— Sis.
— None of that 'sis' crap — You approached, gave him a smack on the head, and he complained — I go out for a few hours with Mom to buy stuff for dinner, and you escape. You said you wouldn't come.
— How did you know?
— Blackjack.
— Oh.
Everything turned out as you feared, things didn't look good, and your brother ended up saving the stupid Apollo's butt again. After having an exclusive report about what was happening there, at the Big House, with Chiron, Dionysus, and Percy, the only reaction you got from yourself was a loud bang on the table that made the utensils jump.
— Sister…
— Where's Apollo? — The two older ones tensed up, and Percy just sighed.
— He'll leave in the morning, us too, just…— he growled as he nervously scratched the back of his neck. Now he understood why they were so alike, and sometimes that wasn't exactly a compliment. — let it go, he's having a really hard time.
— A god — You said incredulously.
— Ex — Your brother corrected, and he settled impatiently in his seat, as he had found something more important to tell you in order to divert your attention. — Leo is alive. — He announced, and you opened your mouth slightly with surprise. With that, Percy believed he was winning. — Listen, while we were all solving the, well, “inconvenience” at the beach, he was at Apollo's cabin. They wanted to make sure he's okay before he leaves with Apollo in the morning. He'll help him with his mission, not us.
— Oh, Percy — Dionysus sighed as he rubbed his temple with disappointment. He never believed his ability to make things worse was real or unintentional until he said that.
— What? — He said innocently until he turned his gaze towards you.
Your blood began to boil, and with anger, you managed to bend a metal knife from the fine cutlery that Chiron had barely acquired. The half-equine sighed silently, and before it could bid farewell to the rest of its tableware, it hoped you would keep calm. And calm was what you had been lacking for a few days now.
“Of course,” Percy thought, his lips pursed, “who would have liked to hear that at that moment?”
Shortly after, the three of them found themselves grappling with you to prevent you from leaving the house straight to meet Apollo.
— APOLLO! — You shouted fiercely, your voice echoing through every corner of the camp, as you managed to break free from their grip, and Dionysus had no choice but to make you faint.
— Alright, kid, you've exceeded your bedtime — And he touched your temple, making you lose strength in your legs.
You fought against that magic, but you only managed to reach the porch, with blurred vision and distorted hearing. There were only a few voices that you heard clearly in your mind before losing consciousness.
“Come to the forest, find us, you don't have to ask”
The campers stopped their final nocturnal activities and admired your body being dragged back into the Big House. When Percy greeted them casually while holding your ankle, they knew it was better not to ask. And although everyone found it totally normal, in the corner of Apollo's cabin, he himself was clutching his legs tightly, trembling and with teary eyes. Was there anything worse than the love of your life hating you to death? And the answer, for him, was no because he knew it and knew it so well that he was tired of it.
“Find us, you don't have to ask”
“come find us”
“You don't have to ask”
“Apollo is…”
You woke up startled and pulled the sheets with cold despite it being mid-spring. You were in your bed, and Percy was sleeping in his, everything seemed fine, so where had those voices come from?
— Damn Dionysus, you've made me crazy — You whispered as you lay back down and tried to sleep.
“The sea and the Sun...”
“Come find us”
“You don't have to ask”
You opened your eyes and looked around, was madness real? Or was something really calling you? Instinct spoke first for you, and with bare feet, you got out of bed, then out of the cabin. Just as if it were a charm, you only knew you had to go to the forest, and your feet obeyed that sudden desire.
“They can't come in now. Not until Rachel knows what's going on or how Apollo's grove works,” Chiron said at the table, just before everything went to hell.
“Especially you, girl, we know you, and we're telling you not to dare,” Dionysus warned.
“You don't have to ask,” the voice insisted, as if it knew what was going through your head at that moment, and without knowing what awaited you, you took the first step into the forest where your only company was the moonlight.
— Dionysus — Chiron warned. He appeared calm, however, the alarm in his words betrayed him. Of course, why wouldn't it, since he had just seen you enter the forest in nothing but your pajamas.
— We can't do anything now. The Grove found her, and as we've already seen with the other campers, it won't stop until she hears what it has to say. The good thing is that the Grove already has its voices channeled. — Dionysus leaned his forehead against the windowpane, still holding his coffee cup tightly, and let out a sigh. — Funny thing is that Apollo himself gave the girl the keys to know her destiny. What an idiot.
The truth was you didn't know how you had gotten there, but you could hear the murmurs guiding you among the trees, and it was late when a wave of fear enveloped you. You tried to run away when in front of you there was a set of trees different from those in the forest, and that's when you knew you had reached the Dodona Grove. You admired it, and immediately felt the presence of something utterly ancient, so old that you would never dare to defy it.
So, as if they knew of your arrival, the wind blew, and you saw some wind chimes hanging from the branches swirling with the breeze, making small whirls until they finally collided with each other. The chimes caused a tinkling that simultaneously deafened your surroundings, almost as if you had been submerged in water. For a moment, you were unable to hear anything, you looked up, and your eyes blinked with the moonlight.
The voices that began to form as if traveling from afar to be heard gave you a twist in the stomach, that which you had dreamed of for a long time was about to be given to you.
"The sea and the sun are not far away as they look, even the greatest can't hide what the lovers need to through. One will long while the other fight, nothing more to do even if you try. It's the price to pay, no matter if the sun doesn't shine again, cause this is no more than the consequence. Cry a river or flood with love, all hangs in the hands of the man who now you love. This rhymes for him were different, but he hopes for put that ring and find what he's been missing."
The voices ceased, and they finished reading your future to you. Every word kept resonating in your mind, you remained speechless, you had no way of assimilating that instantly. You wanted to review those words better and hope for the best, and what was that? That it wouldn't be what you suspected? Or that it would come true just like that? You couldn't answer any of those questions.
Stunned, you began to walk back, or what you supposed was the way back. With a blank stare, murmuring the statements, shortly after, you realized that you were actually somewhat lost. You took several turns and felt overwhelming how the trees surrounded you, as if they were mocking you. It wasn't until the sun peeked out that you finally saw a path, which you found ironic. At that moment, you were only capable of responding to that, then as usual, your mind didn't let you be happy even for a moment when Percy's words reached your ears.
“They'll leave in the morning, just like us.”
And you ran. No matter how much your feet hurt, or how many times the branches of the trees hit you or got stuck in your clothes, you never stopped running, but you simply didn't seem to get anywhere. Your breath was short, you had to see Apollo before he left. You had to catch up with him and ask for an explanation, after all, he was the god of poetry and prophecy, so he could explain it to you in more detail… he… he… He had also hidden it from you, but why?
You ran even faster, pleaded with the gods, with the trees, whoever could hear you, to let you out of the forest. It was several minutes later that you saw the lights of the camp, as if they had always been there. You emerged, and many campers alerted your arrival, you must have looked terrible judging by their reactions.
— Where's Apollo?
— What? — Said a Demeter kid, who struggled to get the branches out of your hair, you just wanted to push them aside.
— Apollo, where is he? — You gasped and looked as Percy ran towards you.
— Sister!
— Percy!
They let you go with him, you almost crashed into his arms, and he held you tightly.
— Apollo.
Percy frowned and snorted.
— Again with that topic?
— No, where's Apollo, Percy? — Your serious face worried him, and he shook his head.
— They left almost at the end of the dawn, they left earlier than expected. — Your tears began to flow, and you struggled from your brother's grip. — What the hell's going on?
— Miss Jackson.
Everyone looked behind you, and you didn't bother to do otherwise. Dionysus and Chiron were looking at you anxiously, you could even notice their bloodshot eyes, as if they hadn't been able to sleep all night.
— That's why they didn't want me to get close to any oracle, prophet, or skeleton.
Your words were thinking, and realization could be heard in them.
— What are you talking about? — Percy asked, and you clenched your fists.
Chiron stepped back and pointed to the Big House, you just scoffed and walked into it with big steps, hitting your feet against the grass. Adrenaline was such that you didn't stop to think that it would hurt later.
— You have to go back to New Rome — You looked up and gave them a puzzled look, you couldn't believe what they were asking you.
— You want me to go back to New Rome with THIS happening?
Dionysus growled, and Percy kept his gaze fixed on his feet, barely managing to assimilate all the information he had been given.
— Girl, go back and mind your own business. The prophecy says so, you can't do anything.
— That's true, it's all in Apollo's hands.
— But—! — You cut off your sentence. Why were you fighting with that? You weren't in love with him, you denied him. He was a god, what kind of pity could you feel for him? They always made you flee from prophecies, most of the gods suck… but in that forest, something had changed. It was as if you had been able to see the truth of something, but it would still take you to put it all together. No matter.
Apollo… you never knew him so closely, was that intentional too? It doesn't matter, anyway, you knew he was an idiot. They called you “lovers” when both barely knew each other, maybe all that was a mistake, but it doesn't matter because you felt nothing for him, and without that, nothing made sense.
Dionysus and Chiron still watched you attentively, while Percy had already leaned on his forearms on the table, looking at you intently, as if trying to figure out what you were thinking. You sighed and started to feel pain in your feet.
— I hope Leo returns safely. after all, I couldn't see him — You said firmly, but with a hollow feeling in your stomach. You looked at your brother and smiled as if nothing had happened.— Let's go, Percy. Mom must be worried, and I have to go back to New Rome.
Before anyone could say anything, you left the house limping slightly straight to Apollo's cabin, it really hurt, and you couldn't afford to get sick before going back to college.
Percy got up and looked at the two older ones, his gaze hardened, as soon as he considered everything that had been hidden from him, too, but he didn't allow those feelings to take center stage. He wanted you to be happy.
— Do you think he'll come back? — He asked, and Chiron hummed while Dionysus made a somewhat discouraging face.
— It's hard to say, Percy. — Chiron sighed and shook his head, considering the odds. — Many things are at stake, not just Apollo returning to being a god.
That was enough for him, he was already used to the slim chances of success on a mission.
— Provided Apollo isn't as much of an idiot as usual and messes up. His egocentric butt is sure to get him into trouble, not to mention the fact that he has no powers. — Dionysus let out a small laugh that made Percy consider the supposed brotherhood he had with Apollo — He's like a newborn jaguar set loose in the cruel tropical forest called life.
— Work on your jokes, Mr. D — Percy said with disgust, and the god bared his teeth at him.
Your brother insisted on driving the car, he thought you had already done enough, besides making it clear that he didn't trust you after you spent the whole night awake in the forest. Obviously, you didn't have any ways to defend yourself, because it was true, and you were grateful for that, there was enough of that shit swirling in your head that you were trying to forget.
With the window down, the breeze caressing your hair, and the immense silence, Percy found it impossible not to ask.
— Do you feel anything for him? — He asked, and you were surprised that this time it had taken him longer to stick his nose in the gossip. You shook your head.
— No, Percy. Maybe, being kept away from him all this time has its advantage, and I'll never fall in love with him because I don't see how I could do that without even being close or knowing him better — You sighed and pretended something your brother longed to see, a smile because it was the first one in those days.
— Maybe that stupid prophecy is so old and stale that it's useless.
Percy nodded silently with his hands almost sunk into the steering wheel and his eyes fixed on the road ahead. More than anyone, he knew that couldn't be true; more than anyone, he knew that stupid prophecies always found their way, but he didn't want to say it out loud.
— Yes, maybe you're right — He said without conviction, and you could also feel the improbability in your own conjectures.

warnings: angst if you squint, focuses on octavian's perspective, language, I think.
a/n: hey pumpkin here! I hope you enjoy this because it was actually interesting to write. i loved. i kiss you back from afar! mwuah
✷
It was like one of those scenes where when the main couple is having a mushy kiss and suddenly the camera focuses on the other love interest in the distance, contemplating the scene with sunken eyes and thunder in the sky because in the end, they weren't chosen.
That's exactly how it was for Octavian.
It wasn't just Aphrodite who would laugh at him, but the entire Olympus.
He could feel his feelings slipping through his fingers like acid, and anger tightening his guts with jealousy. How could he fall in love with you? He bitterly snorted as he violently wiped the tear falling down his cheek. He had VIP tickets to see you kissing Apollo, who besides apparently being the love of your life, was HIS ANCESTOR.
He sat on some rock, which was the softest thing he had felt in a while, and despite his chest burning, he kept watching.
"That should be me," he thought. But of course not. He knew he never stood a chance against him or anyone else who tried to steal your heart because he never gave himself the chance to let you know his feelings, to do something, not even to be closer to you. You didn't go beyond a polite greeting or him admiring you from afar, because he was so scared, he was an idiot and so egocentric.
Without taking his eyes off you, Octavian touched the small plush rabbit hanging from his offering belt, laughing with teary eyes. It was for you, but he never gave it to you and never would. In the end, it would end up as an offering to Apollo, what irony.
But that's how things were, he wouldn't complain either, nor would a wave of bravery make him scream in the sky to challenge the god and threaten to fight for your heart. Of course not.
Because he was Octavian, the most cowardly man who ever lived.

Hello, a request please, from Apollo x Daughter of Poseidon, (I really liked your stories that you wrote about them, and I wanted to see Apollo ask Eros if love is real, I think Apollo has to learn to discover that he has to forgive himself for Jasinto and Dapne, learning what first love is, real love and feeling guilty) 🤔
a vision of you 。*゚
— apollo x fem!reader
warnings: none a/n: hey, thanks for stopping by this humble blog, I hope you like this. kisses from Saturn. 🩵
Apollo headed towards the entrance and before knocking, he sighed. He was grateful for being a god, or else he knew the pain in his chest would spread throughout his body.
He looked perfect, it was impossible not to, but the sleepless nights were evident in the way he furrowed his brow and clenched his jaw. After a few seconds, he tapped three times on the marble door and it opened. How long had it been since he last entered there? Truth was, he couldn't remember, maybe he had never been there for real.
His steps echoed, and the dim light made him hesitate; he must have been desperate to subject himself to this.
“Apollo”
an omnipresent voice whispered, and an unfamiliar breeze lifted the curls falling on his forehead. The god swallowed hard and stood firm.
— Eros — he said with little enthusiasm. He was the one who had dragged himself there, but he wasn't eager to face what scared him the most.
“Love”
Apollo heard and took a step back realizing that Eros might know the reason for his visit. His legs began to tremble, and he felt a chill run down his spine.
“Does it even exist?” The words resonated strongly, the mockery in Apollo's tone shaking the place, almost shattering his hopes of receiving a positive response. He knew what he was doing, but he didn't care anymore. Would poking fun at the god of love lead to anything more tragic than what he had already endured?
“You'll see…”
A snap echoed, and the sun god fell to his knees in a trance.
And there you were, though Apollo didn't know it yet or know you yet, he could feel the longing to do so at that moment.
Truth be told, he couldn't see you clearly, just your silhouette bathed in the golden sunlight as you apparently swam. Within the vision, he heard echoes of your laughter mingled with others. Among all those meaningless shadows, you were the only one he wanted to see.
With that desire in mind, he reached out towards you, hoping to touch you, to reach you, but it seemed futile. In one last attempt, just as you were about to turn around, Apollo was dragged back to reality. The reality where he had no one, except a god who seemed to toy with his ache of loneliness.
“Not until you open your heart.”
Apollo felt his ichor burning and dug his nails into his palms.
— It's open! It's always open! Can't you see life has been unfair to me? — The god cried on the verge of tears.
A deafening silence filled the room above it, tension lingered, misunderstanding, probably Eros's anger.
“Are you sure, Apollo?” The voice replied, still calm. “You haven't forgiven yourself; that's the truth of your loneliness.”
— I've never chosen to be alone — he squeezed his eyes shut, tears streaming down his cheeks. He tried to stand, but a force knocked him back to the ground again, feeling his heart torn apart, every fiber bleeding, burning. He had never chosen such a fate, but he knew guilt consumed him.
“You're not better with company if you don't forgive yourself, Apollo.”
— Enough — he murmured weakly, tears falling onto the marbled floor, his reflection staring back at him. He sobbed, —Enough.
“The one who decides to end it is you. Do you want to meet her and be happy? Fix your issues, Apollo. Otherwise, you'll make her unhappy, just like all your ex-lovers.”
The pressure in his chest intensified, and he released the first cry.
“Heal yourself, god of healing, and then you'll be able to see me in the eyes again.”
The wind violently dragged him towards the exit as he clung, wanting to stay, wanting to ask, to know.
Apollo abruptly opened his eyes with a racing heart, he turned to the side and found you, asleep.
Your body lay with slow breaths and slightly parted lips, some strands of hair fell on your face, and Apollo gently pushed them aside, leaning in to kiss your cheek.
He wished the dream had only been an illusion, but it was just repetitions of what had once happened. Thankfully, he found his way and opened a path towards you. Apollo found a way to forgive himself and heal; any scars that remained, you soothed them with your sweet presence.

Hi! Can I request a Lester/Apollo x Non binary child of Dionysus reader?
◍• kiss me until i'm bruised, oh wait... •◍
— apollo x child of dionysus!reader
next part (no need to read it)
warnings: none a/n: i hope i did it well. thanks for stopping by!
Amidst games and jokes, you had ended up the same way again. You couldn't help but tease him, and he couldn't resist chasing after you. For Apollo, it was hard to resist the way you looked at him with those purple hues sparkling in your eyes, the way you drew him towards you, had him smiling like an idiot.
With that drunken love gaze, he leaned in closer to you, pinning your body against the door of your cabin. He was too eager to have you close, but he also wanted to take advantage and block the door with both of your weights so no one could unexpectedly open it. A mischievous smirk played on your lips; you enjoyed provoking him until he ended up doing just that.
— What?— you asked mockingly, barely audible.
Apollo shook his head and leaned in to place a small kiss on your jaw, sending shivers down your spine. He could smell that grape essence on you and thought he could get intoxicated by it. you took your time, but the anticipation was looming over you.
Apollo's blond curls tickled you under the nose as he looked up at you. The faint daylight streaming through the window made his sapphire eyes shine. So precious.
You were waiting for him to do something, and he was hoping for the same. your timing was on, and foreheads collided. The tension dissipated, and there was no kiss, just groans and a sure bruise.
You hissed as you pressed the palm of your hand against the sore spot, while Apollo simply closed his eyes, completely frozen at the moment he was about to kiss you. Pathetic.
— That hurt— he said, once the jolt allowed him to stand without the possibility of shedding involuntary tears. He turned around, now trying to shake off the embarrassment.
— Do you think? — you scoffed and looked at his forehead with your mouth slightly open. — Apollo.
He rolled his eyes in frustration and turned back to you, now you could see the mark. — What?
You pointed at his forehead, and his face changed completely. There was no time for embarrassment or frustration if his brother found out about the two of you. He would kill him, or well, after all the failed attempts, this time Dionysus would make sure Apollo die.
You rushed to your dresser and slammed your fist against the table when you realized you had the same mark. They were like matching tattoos, except it wouldn't be something to brag about with your friends.
— Not only my dad is going to kill you — you pronounced. You looked for something that could help, but you only had long summers there. Apollo stayed silent. — Pollux is going to chase you to the ends of the earth.
The blond sat on your bed, sighing, knowing very well what to do but ignoring it and clinging to his silence. your gazes met in the mirror, both wearing the same twisted expression.
Apollo got up and walked out of the cabin, you stifled a scream and chased after him. As soon as you saw which direction he was heading, you tried to catch him.
— Are you crazy?— you passed by some campers who looked confused, others nodded as if they knew what was going on.
— Apollo! — you shouted again, and a few meters from the Big House, he stopped, causing you to crash into his back. He turned around and weakly smiled.
— We have to tell him at some point.
You swallowed hard, and he walked back to your cabin, hopping.
— Idiot — you caught up with him and hit his arm.
— I'm serious — Apollo didn't look at you, but his tone said it all. You touched the bruise; it probably turned burgundy, and you grimaced. Passing Poseidon's cabin, Apollo finally looked at you for the first time in minutes, and you saw that he had made the bruise disappear. You closed your eyes with embarrassment; of course, he was a god. There was no need for all that drama.
Your face told Apollo that you had noticed, and he let out a laugh. He dragged you behind one of the cabin pillars, where no one could see you, and gave you a fleeting kiss. His thumb stroked your cheek.
— Silly.

• ° . ☆ “Free coupons, take one and cry all afternoon ” II
— apollo x mortal!reader
part i
summary: part ii, you need to read it, the link is above. run, go warnings: none a/n: really forgive me, haha. I wanted to do something very nice but, well, you'll read what I did. I don't know, forgive me 😔 I couldn't control myself HAHA Still I hope you enjoy it.
Lester was about to throw up the burger, or well, the two bites he had taken. No misunderstanding, it was good.
But you continued to check that they were well taken care of; Giving him pretty smiles and walking near him with that lavender smell of yours. Shit, he wanted to be close to you.
They were too many of you, so they had to join several tables and, among the place that was about to explode, they stood out.
A very lively table, Apollo assumed.
Percy played with his soda making swirls telepathically, Leo put his hand in and undid it, it was funny until the son of Poseidon realized that the drink was disgustingly tampered with. He didn't take a sip again. The other boys laughed.
The girls were talking and laughing and pushing each other, including Meg.
Nico picked at Percy's fries and sipped on Will's soda. Living his best life, Apollo thought.
He liked the idea of being with them and being able to take care of them (even though they beat them to the times they had saved his ass) he could now return the favor.
Oh, if only you could see it. You would be happy. You told him in almost all your lives that he was guilty of being self-centered.
Apollo found himself struggling with the thoughts of him, you weren't dead. You were in front of him.
You passed the door to the counter, holding a tray in each hand. That image flashed in his mind, transporting him back to when you used to walk around with two vases on your shoulders, dancing among the people. Some chains hanging from your neck and the jewelry clashed. You have always been beautiful. Whatever way you came back to him; Boy, girl, you were always beautiful.
— LESTER! —He jumped out of the seat and collided with Jason's shoulder.
— All good?
No, he wanted to be with you.
— The girl over there is talking to you, — Will said with a worried look for his father.
He looked up and spotted you behind the cash register. He made his way towards you without hesitation.
—Mr. Lester, I see that you didn't wait two seconds to use those coupons.— You said with a smile on your lips. Some strands of hair were sticking out from under the cap you were wearing.
—We were hungry.
Idiot, couldn't he think of a better line?
You let out a laugh, and he leaned slightly on the bar, his stomach wouldn't leave him alone.
You leaned over the bar, closing the distance between you. The boy smelled like sunshine and some kind of sweet scent, totally pleasing to your sense of smell. Strangely, you wanted to be even closer to him, like a little impulse to be with him alone, to hug him. Were you attracted to him? But it seemed like a joke, they had only met by chance. You cleared your throat.
— Everything's alright there? — You pointed with your eyes to the table where the rest of his friends and sister were. Although this one had nothing in common with him.
You looked at him. The blonde curls mixed with the black ones making a particular blend, you wondered if it was something genetic and his blue eyes, you had seen them. You were sure.
He touched your shoulder excessively softly, as if he was afraid of breaking you.
— Excuse me?
You let out a laugh and straightened up. Again he was a little further away and you didn't like the feeling.
—I didn't hear you, sorry. Did you say?
Lester smiled.
— It's all good. If we make too much noise, we can leave.
You denied without thinking, almost as an act of desperation. You and he chatted a little more, and you told him to sit down so he could finish his meal.
Walked into the kitchen and cursed under your breath. It was inevitable, he would have to leave at some point. What if you asked for his number? The thought made you bite your lip, and you squeezed your eyes shut.
You felt stupid. Would you look like that in front of him?
You gave him the coupons you had collected to go out with your friends for half a month, just for the sake of it? You never talked to strangers on the street, but Lester didn't seem like a stranger to you.
Apollo returned to the table and ate a chip without much enthusiasm.
Rachel glanced at Piper.
— Any problem? — Frank said drinking soda from the straw.
The god shook his head and sighed. He felt useless, helpless because he wanted to be with you, but he couldn't find a way. Maybe he could ask you for your number. Yeah! Or not?
— I think it's better that you eat. —Rachel said. As if she could guess his thoughts. Or maybe yes? He looked up and took the burger in her hands, after examining it, he handed it to the son of Hades. Nico ate it almost in an instant. And he got up again to go with you.
— Excuse me!
— Tell me — A waiter served him. Apollo felt stupid, so he ended up ordering ice cream.
He returned with the cone in his hand and a pout on his mouth.
Piper hid her giggle behind the paper menu.
The thoughts of asking for his number also didn't leave you alone, but every time you tried to approach him, something simply interrupted you.
You quickened your pace towards him. You cursed the fact that Lester's back was turned, and an arm stopped your path.
— Miss…
Again. You ended up in the kitchen, mumbling and grimacing.
Apollo also couldn't find you at any time that you could speak. He slammed his hand on the table and bumped his forehead against the plastic surface. It seemed like a joke!
Rachel shook her head slightly and stroked her head.
—Hey, Apollo.
He denied rubbing his face on the table.
Everyone wanted to ask, but the redhead put a finger on her lips.
— Apollo
— It's not Apollo, it's Lester
She understood, things weren't going well, but it was inevitable. Rachel got down to Apollo's level.
— Try it one more time, if you hate this, try it as many times as necessary. But know that you tried everything.
The god's blue eyes peered through his hair, and stood up with a sigh.
Everyone at the table pretended not to have heard, they played dumb talking about the weather.
And he tried again.
and he failed again.
You didn't feel any different, you felt like everything had been so easy until you got it into your head that you needed to be with him. You looked through the delivery window and noticed that his table was almost empty, you had worked in food chains for so long to know that they were about to leave the place. Your soul felt a despair that at the same time seemed meaningless to you.
You looked for a pen and paper, a sheet they use for receipt notes.
You wrote your number and a note: call me!, and you doodled a heart. Inexplicably, you also drew a sun. If you couldn't get close, someone else could.
—Brenda!
Your coworker stopped her pace and raised her chin. She just had a tray in her hand, perfect. You walked over to her quickly.
— Deliver this to table seven.
She nodded.
Apollo was already feeling hopeless, he drank Piper's drink and talked to her friends. During the conversation, your coworker handed the note on a small tray. Rachel looked at the paper and waited for Apollo to take it.
He did, and while he was laughing about something Frank had told him, he crumpled it up and threw the ball of paper into the metal trash can.
The redhead didn't say anything, she knew what was happening. She knew that even if she went to the boat and gave the paper to her friend, it would be something else.
The food was finished, and the rest had been pleasant.
Then everyone rose from their chairs.
Apollo looked again at the same window through which you had been spying on him, until at that same moment it was your turn to throw out the trash.
And that's how things ended.
Apollo walked away from the place, and you didn't see him leave. Both felt their spirits on the ground, their stomachs full of anxiety. It was strange, it was fleeting. But when things didn't have to happen, it was that simple. They just wouldn't happen.
At least, not in this life of yours.
Every chance with Apollo would wither, corrode, perish. It didn't matter how much they tried or struggled.
It was not going to work. At that moment, you were destined to meet but not to stay together, not even for a full day.
And how cruel because there was so much he wanted to show you.
But not now, but until 100 years later.

are the HoO boys afraid of falling in love with you? (ft. apollo)
。°。°。°。°。°。°。°。°。°。°。°。°。°。°。°
▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
☆ radiostar is playing… warrior by aurora!
who's here: percy jackson, leo valdez, frank zhang, jason grace & apollo. warnings: none, philophobia is the fear of falling in love. a/n: This is super based on their profiles according to the books, because well, let's talk honestly to others, I decided to do this, it's interesting.
percy jackson;
Percy isn’t afraid of loving or being loved. His mom raised him with a lot of affection. But, he does get scared of not being loved back or not being good enough for you. This is because of his obvious self-esteem issues. Doubting love is the only thing that makes him rethink and overthink things. So, sometimes you have to talk to him when you see he's down about something he doesn’t want to tell you. But he never hesitated when he fell for you and wanted you to know as soon as he realized it.
leo valdez;
Yes. The answer is yes, he is scared of falling in love. But he doesn’t realize it until he’s totally in love with you, and it’s too late for those feelings to stop growing. Leo isn’t fully aware of it because he likes having girls around, but it never goes beyond the surface until it did with you. He realized that imagining a future with someone isn’t something to take lightly. Is there something he can’t fix with his magical pockets?
Leo spent most of his life running away and being from nowhere, so he ends up with an avoidant attachment style. He’s working on this now to open up more with you because at the beginning of the relationship, it seemed like he was running away from you. In reality, he’s full of love to give and wants to receive it too.
frank zhang;
He’s never scared of falling in love or feeling something as genuine as that. He’s a son of Mars, who’s associated with passion, so Frank has never had to face love head-on. The only problem might be feeling like he’s too much or too annoying because he would die for you and kill an entire nation to be with you. Frank is careful when he realizes he likes you or is falling in love because he knows some things just can’t be, but he never hides his feelings. He’ll tell you he loves you and respects if it’s not mutual. He almost explodes with happiness knowing it’s mutual.
jason grace;
Jason isn’t great at showing his feelings. It constantly overwhelms him and keeps him up at night, trying to solve it like a math equation when it’s the complete opposite. He’s supposed to be the voice of reason, or at least that’s what he’s thought all this time. But when you get close to him, his gears go crazy, spark, and break down. Is he scared of falling in love? Not exactly, but he’s afraid of not expressing it properly because he knows how important communication is. After getting to know you better, he realizes it’s better to go with the flow, which isn’t easy for him, but he finally has an answer. He was born to love and wants to be loved.
apollo;
Yes, yes, yes, yes. All his exes ended up as plants or dead. How could he not develop a fear related to love after that keeps happening? So it’s a nightmare when you come into his life because, unfortunately for him, he’s a hopeless romantic. There’s nothing more ironic than that. He tries to avoid it at all costs, but in the blink of an eye, he’s holding you tight and kissing you with a goofy expression on his face. Even though he’s so scared, his longing to find the one outweighs it...

— nosebleed 。:゚headcanons
who is here: percy jackson, jason grace, frank zhang, leo valdez & apollo/lester
warnings: mentions of nosebleeds, swearing
a/n: It just occurred to me, I'm sorry, I just got a nosebleed and I'm my own muse.
Percy:
You are talking to your wonderful boyfriend about things about the sea and a drop of blood literally falls from your nose, Percy is literally asking if you are okay, if you want water.
Out of nerves, he starts to tell when his nose bled, and he almost exterminated to the world as if you had not been there.
“PERCY, I WAS THERE, FUCK PASS ME PAPER.” you scream, stopping drops of blood with your hands
And he runs to the bathroom for it.
Jason:
This man is very thoughtful, he is literally the first to realize that a drop of blood is about to come out of your nose.
“Honey” he calls you and the drop falls.
But he is a cautious man, and he takes paper out of his pocket. He cleans you and checks that you are okay.
“Do you feel bad?” he asks you for like the tenth time.
“Calm down, I'm fine,” you reply for the tenth time.
Still, Jason controls the air in your direction to cool you down.
and gives you kisses on your knuckles
Frank:
Frank doesn't let you react, he's already picked you up and is taking you to Apollo's cabin (if you're at camp)
or anywhere with doctors or nurses who can check you out.
He runs like his life depends on it (because for him, it does)
“frank, honey it's just a nosebleed”
“HEMORRHAGE” He screams like it's the end of the world and he ends up running even faster.
When they tell him you'll be fine, he continues checking on you for the rest of the afternoon.
Leo:
When you notice the blood touching your lip, you immediately stand up and make sure with your hand that it doesn't fall or dirty your clothes.
Leo looks at you and looks for a handkerchief, screaming and spinning around, then the idiot realizes that he literally has a magic belt and takes a handkerchief out of there.
When you are cleaning yourself, you feel wet tissues on your forehead and neck.
“It's because of the heat!” Leo says and as he gives you a nervous smile.
“I wish I could be Jack Frost right now” sure you smile at him, and he looks very confident, but he's really worried.
After a while, Leo's anxiety becomes even more apparent. “Are you stressed?”
“Leo, I'm fine” and he nods
but changes your tissues whenever they need more fresh water.
Apollo / Lester:
He is literally shouting and waving his hands.
then remember that he is the god of healing
He laughs lightly and does his magical things on you.
"You need a break" he says with a deep frown.
super god doctor mode activated
"yes yes" you say while he makes a tourniquet for your nose.
He taps you on the nose and kisses you on the cheek.
he knows that no one can take better care of you.

hello, a request please, from apollo x readerposeidon, how does apollo react if hermes tries to flirt with his girlfriend reader (hermes just wants to bother his older brother)
• this is a message for THAT nereid!
— apollo x daughter of poseidon!reader
warnings: none
a/n: Hi baby. here's your apollo crew being jealous there's nothing more like him than that.
✷
Apollo started biting his nails as soon as he heard your laughter echoing in his dining room, which he found stupid because it was HIS dining room and you were laughing with another guy right in his face. Well, it was not just another guy, it was his brother, which made it a million times worse.
His visits used to be enjoyable, now not so much.
— So, ¿what do you say? — Hermes asked, winking at you, and Apollo wondered about the sudden need to make his life miserable by looking you in that way.
Your lips painted another smile as you playfully shook your head, glancing sideways at your boyfriend, who was struggling not to throw the vase at his brother's face. Honestly, it amused you. “This is for all the times you let that Nereid flirt with you in front of me,” you thought, it was your perfect revenge, and with his brother willing to play along, they were hitting the nail on the head.
— Hmm. What do you say, darling? We can stay in that house for the summer. It's close to the water, and I think it would help me train while waiting for the swimming tryouts.
Apollo forced a smile and nodded silently, if he spoke, he'd surely yell. Hermes played with the crystal glass and leaned slightly towards you.
— Even if my brother can't be with you all the time, you can go on your own — he said, looking at his brother, pretending to be kind, and Apollo felt his blood boil. — I'll keep an eye on her for you, brother.
Apollo scoffed — I don't want you keeping any eye on my girlfriend, thanks.
The double entendre floated between you, and you pressed your lips together, trying not to smile.
Hermes ran his hand through his black curls while making loops with his hand, trying to find words to elaborate. That was exasperating, Apollo thought he was just trying to look dashing. For his misfortune, his brother kept talking.
— I think it'll be fine, she needs it for her training, after all, right? — He turned to you with the blue eyes that every son of Zeus seemed to possess. — Although, they should fear you from now on, doll.
Apollo choked at that word and drew both of your attention.
— Is everything alright, Apollo? — Hermes smiled maliciously, and the sun god remembered the stupid rule that whoever gets angry first loses.
— Nothing — Apollo replied, snapping his fingers to start the music. maybe breaking that stupid tension.
When “The Girl Is Mine” by Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney started, you were close to crack up. You couldn’t believe him.
— I love this song, little bro — Hermes hummed while drumming his fingers on the glass table, passing over the message on purpose.
“'Little bro'? I'm the older one,” Apollo thought, annoyed. He couldn't wait to kick that idiot out of his mansion.
The part with the ex-beatle began, and the messenger of the gods leaned closer and starting to sing to you.
— I love you more than he… — Hermes winked at you.
— Okay, enough — Apollo exclaimed, standing up and covering his brother's mouth with his hand. He kept singing even as his voice died in your boyfriend's palms.
Apollo growled and shot you a furious look before disappearing with him in a golden dust.
As you were left alone in the dining room, you burst into laughter and took a sip of water, impressed by your brother-in-law's performance.
Footsteps echoed in the hallway, and you masked your smile with a serious expression.
Apollo dusted off his hands and sat back down, his eyes fixed in the center of the table. You cleared your throat and casually propped one leg up on the chair, playing with your hair as you listened to him rant.
— And tell me, my love —your voice echoed through the palace vaults, — how does it feel? — In the midst of those emotions that had him on the edge of a psychotic episode, that question caught him off guard. You raised your eyebrows sanctimoniously and smiled smugly.
Oh.
— You! — He pointed at you accusingly, and you ran off giggling.
As he tried to catch up with you, he heard the echoes of the palace bringing the reason you played along with his brother's stupid game: “Tell that damn Nereid to screw off, you're mine!” And the brake on his heels, now fearing you'd walk back to him.
Okay, you won. Definitely, Apollo wouldn't even talk to a rock if it kept you from flirting with his brother again.

warnings: none
a/n: Hello, I have your back. Thanks for stopping by. Mwuah 💕
— Make a wish! — You gave those little hops with the tips of your toes and shook your boyfriend's shoulders.
— A wish? — Apollo said, fixing his gaze on that fountain. In the middle was a stone basin where the coins piled up with the others, he assumed that was the target to aim for.— Which god rules over this sort of thing?
You let out a groan and shook him impatiently.
—Lester! — He smiled hearing one of his names come out of your mouth. He turned fully to you and held you by the waist, his other hand traveled from your shoulder to the palm of your hand where you held the penny.
—I do it with...— He tossed the coin and heard the splash of water. He had hit the mark. — ...eyes closed, see?
Unlike what he expected, you frowned and gave him a gentle push with your body.
— You were supposed to wish for something, silly.— You pouted, watching your only shot settle with the other coins.
He held your body tighter and made you look into his eyes, his blue eyes like the sky above you.
— What else could I wish for when I already have you? — He smiled with a look full of love and gently bumped noses with you. You bit your lip and gently squeezed the fabric of his shirt.
— Liar, you forgot to ask for something.
He laughed and kissed you sweetly. He migrated his lips to your red cheeks to press another small kiss.
— I'm serious, what else could I ask for?
You pursed your lips and hummed as if thinking.
— I wanted to win the lottery.
Apollo brought his hand to his chest pretending to be offended.
— I can give you all the riches you want! — He extended his hand and conjured up a gold ingot. You wrinkled your nose.
— No, in cash.
And he turned the gold ingot into bills.
— With a little extra change.
And the sound of coins falling from his palm rang out instantly. Whatever you wanted, however you wanted it, he would give it to you.
You smiled triumphantly and took just one coin. Just what you wanted. Apollo realized you had used him.
— You could have just asked for one!
— And where's the fun in that? — You admired the gleam of the metal, pretending to ignore your boyfriend.
— I should have known! — He made the entire fortune disappear and crossed his arms.
You chuckled and handed him the coin again.
—Make a wish.
The blond looked at you tenderly. He had wasted your only shot and you were extending the coin to him again. He felt like he didn't deserve you.
He took a breath, closed his eyes, and then tossed it. Again he hit the mark.
— Did you wish for something?
— That we always be together.
