Villain!Ghost x Pregnant!Wife!Reader
Synopsis: Your husband wants your company..
A/n: GUYS OMG, I know it's been 1 month and a little more since my last official work. I've been procrastinating on this for so long since I only have less than a week till school again.. Also everyone I love on this app is just disappearing, like @ghost-cyphera just deleted her account 4 days ago and I got the notif but didn't see it in time, I didn't even get to say goodbye. Just wanted to apologize to you guys after being gone for so long as well. Also, another villain!Ghost drabble? đ
Finding it difficult to walk was one of the least things you've suspected you'd be concerned of upon conceiving, always needing your handmaiden's help in such a mundane task was shameful to say the least but your husband insisted.
If it hadn't been the hand maiden then it would've been him instead, you couldn't keep him from his duties from the kingdom as he carried even yours. Wanting you to turn your attention to the health of the babe growing in you and especially yourself..
"My lady.." you were pulled out of your thoughts by the voice of your handmaiden. You took in a breath from the cool air that blew on your face as you stood by the stone railing..
"Yes, Leticia?" You turned to her..
"The prince consort has requested your company.." Leticia announced, you nod as you removed your hand from the cold stone. You glanced once more to the people of your kingdom, going about their day and life before gently lifting yourself off from leaning on the stone.
Leticia offered you her arm to help you walk more efficiently..
...
"You sent for me..?" You asked your husband, he was sat and signing another set of documents and scrolls. You closed the door, palms gently pushing till you heard it click.
"No, I told them to announce my arrival to you. How dare they exert my wife by giving her false instructions.." he huffed to which you laughed. He wouldn't do anything violent about it, as he so usually does with staff that don't comply but he knew it'd upset you if anything gory were to happen to them.
"I am quite alright, I need to move around too. It's proven to be good for our child." You said, sitting next to the graciously comfortable chair next to his working desk that he had someone make for you.
You felt relief from the pressure previously on your back, hand on the bump of your stomach and with that a sigh came from your lips. Peacefully watching your husband, the sound of the satisfying scratching of the quill on the crisp papers.
You felt his hand grasp yours, he pulled it, lips resting on the back. His affection made your heart beat faster and he felt it, the pad of his index finger on your wrist. The thumping made him chuckle as you smiled and leaned your head on his shoulder.
"You should rest for a while, my love. You'd work yourself to sickness at this point." You kiss his cheek softly. He put his quill down, "If that's my wife wants.." he said.
He wrapped his arm around you, the other hand placed on your baby bump. His thumb gently rubbing, you jolted a bit feeling a strong kick..
It made you groan, how restless the rascal is. Your husband adjusted his hand to feel the next kick.. he'd swear it was a girl, not that he'd care for that sort of thing. He'd kill for them either way, especially for you. He could stare at you all day, swollen with his child.
How glowing you looked wrapped in the finest silk and the gold and jewels in your hair and body clicking upon contact with another piece, he wished he could tell you how utterly speechless you'd leave each man by just walking passed them but to him no word is enough to describe you.
At least he could spend these small intimate moments with just you and you alone, free of the world for even just a few minutes as he needed a break from the work he very much was eager to do to be able to receive praise from his wife..

this is gonna be very long winded so apologies in advance!
Iâve noticed that the readers ages of 16, 18 and 21 feel more important since theyâre like a checkpoint for important parts of their lives. 18 is when they butted heads with their family more often, 21 is when they died and 16, well thatâs the age that the returned to.
what would it have been say at 16 they were on autopilot so they went to breakfast and Alfred (and by extension the rest of the family ) didnât realise something was off about them until later?
what if they returned at 18 instead of 16 when their relationships were more volatile with the bat fam?
or heck maybe at 21 a month, week, day or hour before getting shot- say if they were able to contact the police beforehand or at least call Alfred for help if they were shot but the last timeline warned them enough that they avoided lethal wounds?
(bonus: Bruce or the others - Iâd expect Jason to pop up from a seedy alley- finds them after being shot and on the verge of dying, but theyâre saved just in the nick of time)
(bonus bonus: they get greedy and kidnap surprise adopt multiple different versions of reader and their batfams go nuts because they âwent missingâ)
GRR come over here and kiss me on my hot mouth i'm feeling romantical also i will carress you for picking up on the age thing.. like damn u actually read my shi
masterlist
at sixteen, if you were to go to breakfast and act on autopilot! then congrats! you'd be able to leave (for a month). it'd be difficult because bruce wouldn't check on you so you couldn't ask him for funds. but if you were to ask alfred maybeee he'd give it to you, so long as you don't say what it's for, of course.
so then, you're living happily, peacefully even. for two months, you live your life like a normal person! until one fateful evening when you're casually lounging about -- someone knocks on your door. weird, but okay.
you open the door, and there stands fucking batman and robin just. standing there.
"we're here to--"
you slam the door on their face. now, because you've acted on auto-pilot, they didn't interact with you in the same way they did in the og story, so you're understandably confuddled. because? why the FLIP is your estranged family at your door?
over the course of the next few days, strange events occur. you go to the diner down the road to get some food and red hood slides into your booth wordlessy. you're walking home after going to the store and nightwing literally APPEARS and offers to carry your groceries. your phone's battery is mysteriously depleting fast, flipping orphan and spoiler show up at your school, hanging around.
worst of all, no matter where you go -- there's that bat-shaped shadow following you. if you look up, you'll see the outline of his cowl, and if you lock eyes he will swoop in, to save you -- of course! so keep your head down, savour your freedom for as long as possible but don't ever get too comfortable.
at eighteen? ooh i feel like a fly mischeviously rubbing it's hands together.
twenty-one year old you waking up eighteen, well, dare i say, it's better than waking up sixteen.
eighteen you had preemptively distanced yourself from the family for you. you're a legal adult, so you can work -- and best of all? (you can smoke ciggerattes) you have actual friends.
up until your eighteenth birthday, your every waking thought was on how to be better, to get better -- so with you becoming a legal adult -- well you understood that there isn't much for you to do anymore, you began to focus less on yourself and more on you. despite that, there was still the nagging feeling heavy in your chest that you'll never be accepted, never be apart of them -- there was a part that yearned for that acceptance, however late it maybe.
so your sudden disinterest wasn't alarming, not really. until you've finally found a good place, in a nice area. you're packing your stuff casually when bruce walks into your room for the first time in fuuck knows how long (because alfred asked him to).
"where are you going?" he is flabbergasted, but keeps a cool expression on his face as you give him the most diabolic side glare ever.
"i'm... leaving?"
lmao, no you're not! all of a sudden this calm procedure turns into a whole thing. give bruce the name of your landlord, he wants to see if they're good -- in fact, he can buy the house off of them so you don't have to pay a thing!
dick and jason are literally scanning every part of your new apartment, top to bottom, every single thing.
"this is not safe, these windows don't even have locks." jason sighs, analysing your windows with such scrutiny it makes you uncomfortable.
"this chain is broken! tut, tut, you can't live here!" dick adds on, ignoring the fact that the chain on your door is fine and that one chip on it won't get you killed.
tim begins to talk to you about finances, but he overexplains it using words you can't even begin to comprehend -- you're pretty sure he's doing it on purpose, what with the smug grin on his face.
"didn't bruce buy the building?" you ask, your eyes narrowed as you watch him scribble down numbers and whatnot.
while those buffoons are doing that, you're being pressured by damian to stay.
"why must you leave? to live in a crappy old shack? just stay in the manor, it's safer for you." he's literally DOWN your neck with these types of comments. meanwhile, you're reeling 'cause what the fuck is going on?!
whether you give in or not is up to you -- just know, you will one way or another return to the manor.
as for the last one, let's say you get transported back five minutes before getting shock. which pisses you off 'cause what're you supposed to do in five minutes!?
nonetheless, you manage to get away with being shot once instead of five times, so you have enough energy to limp away -- and then you bump into red hood.
oh damn, oh damn, wow, so he's going to shoot you to -- or that's what you think, what you don't expect is for him to pick you up and literally shoot your offenders.
wow, okay.
you get taken back to the manor and you're literally reeling as they fuss over you, "how could you be out so late!?" this or "why do you need a job!?" that.
it's a shortcut to being locked in the manor, they take care of you like you're incapable, dick spoonfeeding you despite your protests, tim sitting silently besides you which makes you stress because he's so unnerving, cass hovering around you -- bringing you everything you need, sometimes you don't even realise you need it until she brings you a glass of water because you 'looked thirsty' (???).
this isn't just restricted to when you're recovering. you nearly died because of their negligence! so they pay extra attention to you, just so you don't get any silly ideas about walking gotham alone at night. honestly? what were you thinking, it's a good thing they're here to protect you.
(also side note ; the idea of jason being NEAR (name) when they died, but not knowing is so eghsudg to me, like he'll learn about where they died after finding the crime scene and he falls into a pit of despair because if he had taken the right route, if he had followed his instincts, he could have saved you.)
as for the last, last one. let's say you're a random variant of (name) from another universe and you've gotten transported without knowing it, you walk home morosely.
as you open the door, you are greeted with countless different versions of you -- all of them wearing the same expression of confusion. you don't know how to react when dick spots you and shouts, "we got another one"
guys if u sent an ask or request I WILL get them done.. i'm just being a lazy bum, thank u for the kind words tho everyone <3

âI need to tell you something.â
Shitfuckno. Eddie doesn't even know why he's still surprised. This is how it always goes, after all. He should probably just give up and stop dating altogether â again.
Steve looks at him exactly as ominously as the words I need to tell you something require. Perfect Steve. Funny Steve. Sweet Steve. Sexy Steve. Steve, who Eddie had genuinely believed to be different.
Eddie sighs, barely suppressing a dark chuckle while he turns away from that perfect face. He doesn't want to look at Steve when he'll tell him the undoubtedly messed-up shit he's about to spill.
âLemme guess, you're married?â That was what the last guy he dated told him, seven months after they got to know each other. It can't be much worse than that, can it?
Steve grabs Eddie's hand, causing him to involuntarily jerk up his head and meet his eyes.
âHow did you know?â
Jesus H. Christ. Not again.
Eddie roughly pulls his hand out of Steve's grip and laughs a joyless laugh.
âApparently I'm a good guesser.â
He stands up from the park bench the two of them had been sharing. âWell, Steve, this has been a blast. You should go back to your wife, or husband â don't tell me, I don't even wanna know â and I should um, get going. Maybe tell the next person right away what they'll be getting themselves into. Would save them a lot of wasted time, just in case cheating and going around other people's backs isn't really their thing, y'know.â
âEddie, wait, let me explain!â
Eddie picks up his pace, but Steve, stubborn as he is, easily keeps up with him.
âI'm really not interested, man.â
âIt's not â I'm not cheating on her!â
âOkay, so you have an open marriage, good for you. Still the kind of information you could've shared with me, say, three months ago, don't you think?â
âShe's a lesbian.â
And that makes Eddie freeze on the spot. It takes Steve two steps before he realizes Eddie has stopped moving; he walks backwards until he's standing right in front of Eddie.
âShe's my best friend,â he says, immediately using Eddie's stunned silence to his advantage. âRobin, my roommate â I told you all about her. We wanted to buy a house together and that turned out to be very complicated when you're not... Well, when you're not romantically involved. So we got married. For the, um, practical reasons. We never â we're like siblings. I love her like a sister. But she's also my wife. Platonically.â
It takes a few seconds until Steve's words sink in. Then, Eddie leaps forward and basically collapses into Steve's arms, needing to hold onto him to prevent himself from crashing to the ground.
Steve's arms are warm, strong, and as safe as ever.
âEddie, are you okay?â Steve asks softly. His lips brush against Eddie's ear while he speaks, and worry colors his voice.
Perfect Steve. Too-good-to-be-true Steve.
âJesus Christ, Steve,â is the only thing Eddie manages to say.
âI'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you,â Steve says. âIt's just â I've gotten some, um... Less than ideal reactions, in the past, whenever I told this when I was seeing someone. So I thought it'd be better to wait until things were getting serious.â He sighs, tangling his fingers in Eddie's hair. âI didn't wanna scare you off. Are we â are you okay?â
Eddie nods. He lifts his head from where it's resting against Steve's shoulder and raises his hands to squeeze them around Steve's face.
âWe're okay,â he says. âAnd I'm sorry I didn't want to listen to you. Iââ He stops; he can't find the words right away. It's still difficult to talk about those things; to let himself be vulnerable. But Steve has been honest with him, so it's only fair to return the favor.
âI've been hurt, Steve,â he confesses. âMore than once. I've had some really shitty experiences with dudes not being honest with me. I thought that that was what was happening again, and I couldn't â I couldn't go through that again. Especially not with you.â
âJesus, Eddie, I'm so sorry.â
âIt's okay,â Eddie rushes to say, pulling Steve even closer towards him. âI trust you.â And as soon as these words leave his mouth, he knows it's the truth.
âI do want to be absolutely clear about one thing, though,â Steve says.
Eddie leans back in Steve's arms to give him an expectant look.
âRobin is my wife. I'm not planning on that to change anytime soon. We've been through a lot together. She's been the most important person in my life for years. We own a house and a dog together, and I love her more than anything. I like you a lot, and I promise you I'm all-in with you, but... Robin is still my number one. And that's not gonna change overnight. I need you to be okay with that.â
Eddie swallows. He looks into Steve's eyes. All he sees is a man who is honest, who loves his friends deeply, and who refuses to make any compromises when it comes to love â whether it be the platonic or the romantic kind.
It doesn't scare Eddie off; it only makes him fonder of Steve.
He smiles, glances around to check if they're alone, and presses a quick kiss against Steve's lips.
âI think I can live with that,â he says. âAs long as I'm the only one who gets to do this.â He closes his eyes and lets his lips meet Steve's again.
The sigh that Steve breathes into their tentative kiss is one filled with relief.

Took some notes from the Wild Life retrospective episode of the Imp & Skizz podcast featuring Grian because I thought the behind the scenes info was really interesting!
(3:15) The wild cards were all kept totally secret from the players (apart from Grian), with the exception of the superpowers and finale (as they required the players to set keybinds)
(3:45) The players were given files containing the required mods each week, which were named things like "creeper rain" to throw them off
(4:12) Wild cards were a combination of data packs and mods
(4:38) Grian told them not to read the folder name to avoid spoilers (which is kind of impossible), so everyone fully believed there would be creeper rain lol. Grian was saying it in jest but everyone took it seriously and were apologetic about having seen it, to which Grian told them not to worry
(6:58) Grian originally contacted a data pack dev called Brace for help with programming the wild cards. Some, like the shrinking/growing could be achieved with minecraft attributes, but the snails were too janky and unusable. Grian still liked the idea though, so he reached out to mod developers Henkelmax and Breadloaf, who designed the pathfinding/behaviour from scratch
(8:49) They had a debugging mode used to test the pathfinding of the snails, shown in the podcast and in Grian's credits
(10:09) Grian wants most of the credit to go to the development team and artists, as he was mostly in charge of ideas & organization!
(10:39) Grian's only regret with the snails was that they were too fast in session 3, leading to unexpectedly many deaths. They were apparently not so difficult to get away from during testing, but perhaps the testers were more used to them than the players were
(11:44) Grian: "We did develop to the lowest common denominator" ie. prioritizing how players would struggle over how worrying about if players would do too well
(12:56) Oli's voice for the snails was iconic. It cost Impulse a life because he intentionally stayed closer to it to hear the voice lol
(13:42) Danny was in charge of the snail models and animations
(14:11) During testing, the snails just sounded like Oli, which made it feel weird. They pitched up his voice so that it'd be less immediately recognizable
(15:18) The snails' jumping attack was meant to be clearly telegraphed: they would stop, wiggle, make a "ooeee" sound before jumping. Many players had their friendly creatures volume turned very low/off (as cows and other mobs are loud), which made this attack much less obvious for them
(16:57) The growing/shrinking had the least testing done for it, as it was the simplest conceptually and to program. This meant that the falling off of blocks due to the shrinking hitboxes wasn't anticipated
(17:55) Before the 1st session, Grian told them that he didn't think anyone would die to the wild card. Pearl's death made Grian pretty nervous, as he didn't want everyone dying too early in the season
(19:29) 6 lives were given, knowing that many of the death to the wild cards were unexpected/unfair. The intent was for ~3 lives to be allocated for wild cards, and ~3 for PvP.
(21:13) The developers were all fans of the Life Series!
(22:43) The shrinking/growing was intentionally pretty simple to ease players/viewers into the concept and build up toward more dramatic wild cards like the snails
(25:38) In the hunger episode, Grian didn't know which foods would be good
(25:58) Grian thinks that "it's unfair that Grian already knows everything" is valid criticism, but that it's important for him to be involved with the ideas. Having someone else do that is like having someone else record his videos: Life Series is his brainchild
(26:35) Well before the season began, while they were still developing the concept, Grian asked the other players for wild card ideas that would meet a few criteria. All of them ended up being unused for one reason or another. Impulse thinks his ideas were very "inside the box" because he was viewing things through what was possible in vanilla Minecraft. His idea was to have a scavenger hunt where the players would search to find a relic. The first person to find it would get a buff. Skizz's idea was for every player to turn into a random passive mob for every given interval of time. They would have to find every other player of the same mob type as them or else the whole group loses a life.
(29:44) The food qualities were weighted by the rarity of the item, so very common blocks like dirt and cobblestone would never give anything good. The other items were randomly selected
(30:23) Regular blocks/items cannot be made edible normally, so they had to circumvent that and custom code a fix for items not stacking correctly
(32:41) While a lot of players do want to win, the main priority is creating entertainment, which prioritizes playing recklessly
(33:20) The food wild card wasn't included in the finale because it would've felt like "too much". There was a higher risk of technical issues since it changed the data values of items, and Grian didn't want someone's last death to be because they ate their sword. In his mind, it was a good and fun wild card, but didn't need to be repeated in the finale. Impulse points out that they all would have collected more rare items by that point, removing the incentive to search for blocks to eat
(33:46) The wild cards in the finale were nerfed from their original sessions. The shrinking/growing had a smaller height range, the snails moved slower, etc.
(36:21) The personalized snail skins were a late addition by Danny, who made 18 skins very quickly
(36:49) Grian did not anticipate the snails becoming as popular with fans as they were. After the session released, they had the idea to release the snail merchandise, which directly funded the rest of the season
(39:20) Grian spent what "felt like every day" testing with the developers. They'd record the sessions on Tuesdays, meet up with the dev team, talk about what need to be done, testing, bugs, etc, edit and upload on Saturday, and would get a few days grace before starting again
(40:01) After the snail session, Grian was worried that the season would be very short due to all the deaths. They were considering toning down the later wild cards but ultimately didn't change them too much
(40:36) The time wild card was carefully balanced. If it had gone even a little faster, many players likely would have died because they wouldn't have time to react to threats like baby zombies or creepers.
(40:57) While sessions normally run for a variable amount of time, session 4 was hardcoded at 2 hours. Grian ended the session ~10 minutes early, just after they hit max speed, because he felt like things were getting dicey
(42:46) When the wild card first activates, it looks a lot like the server had frozen or crashed. Grian told the players before the session started that it would look like the game was broken, but that it isn't broken. Skizz tabbed out anyway and missed the beginning đ
(43:30) Having the rain start just as the wild card began was a good visual indicator of time slowing down. This was a suggestion from the dev team (probably Brace)
(44:41) Impulse and Grian "cheesed" the end of the session by going branch mining. Grian wanted players to take advantage of the wild cards (eg. mining quickly, helping to kill someone), and not have them just be an annoyance.
(45:30) Keeping the client and server-side time stay in sync was challenging. The sky's motion was changed to be smoother on client-side. The players were also not as fast as the server (around 2x faster), the server was going faster than that, and the time of day was even faster
(46:56) The sounds were pitched up/down based on the speed to add to the effect
(27:46) In testing, if the players were made 7x faster, it would be basically unplayable, which was why it was capped at 2x speed. This made mobs very dangerous, as they were now faster than players and could catch up to you and kill you easily
(49:01) On several occasions, they had to extend the fuse duration of creepers to make them more fair. In the time session, their speed was only increased by ~10%
(49:39) Usually, Grian was the one to test the wild cards and notice when things like creeper speed would be an issue, since he was the one with experience making videos
(50:50) A challenge with balancing wild cards is accounting for the playstyles of so many players: reckless players like Scar and Skizz, "kind and gentle" players like Bigb who would stay off to the sides, and "the sweat squad" (Scott, Impulse) who play very cautiously
(52:48) Trivia Bot was the only wild card that was not planned in advance. Grian was struggling to come up with a wild card for that episode, and wanted to have a wild card available that could give people lives in case many people died to early wild cards without it feeling cheap.
(53:33) Trivia seemed a little boring on its face, so presentation was essential
(54:34) This one made Grian the most stressed due to all the moving parts involved in making it (coding and pathfinding mostly by Henkelmax, visuals by Hoffen, audio/music, questions)
(55:08) Trivia Bot's design was based on Grumbot and Mettaton from Undertale. Hoffen drew concept art shown in the video
(58:32) They show Trivia Bot's custom animation for becoming a snail and it's really cool
(59:12) The music was the most stressful part of the project. Grian spent 2-3 days looking through Epidemic Sounds for a Trivia Bot theme song and couldn't find anything good. He commissioned Zera @hopepetal for a theme song, which is played in the podcast. However, Grian realized he needed a full audio package, so he commissioned Oli late in development, who created the final soundtrack and many audio variations
(1:01:38) Grian wants to send appreciation for everyone who worked on the project, even if their work ultimately went unused
(1:02:58) Skizz was happy to give back however he could by staying on standby in the final episode as a zombie, as the players were able to "reap all the benefits" of the hard work of the development team
(1:05:21) Grian didn't know any of the trivia questions beforehand, which were done by fans of the series. The goal was for ~50% of the questions to be answered correctly, which was approximately met
(1:07:11) Players couldn't get questions about themselves because it would be too easy. This would encourage players to leave their bot, allowing other players to mess with them
(1:07:57) Grian felt a little left out from the discovery element of the wild cards, and decided to mess with Scar by hiding his bot. He wasn't expecting Scar to die from it, and could tell that he was genuinely a little upset by it. Grian felt bad about it, which led to a genuine in-game alliance between them
(1:12:32) Grian was very close to letting Trivia Bot give lives as rewards, but decided it would feel too cheap
(1:14:38) Mob swap was slightly toned down, with more camels and sniffers spawning
(1:15:07) Evokers didn't drop totems anymore. Instead, there was a minuscule chance a warden or wither would spawn, which would drop a totem if killed. Grian was a little disappointed that the warden got cheesed in the end
(1:17:45) Having the mobs start passive and turn hostile was mostly for the presentation, building anticipation, and so players could predict where mobs would spawn and react accordingly, making things feel less unfair
(1:20:32) There was no superpower made for Skizz (or Mumbo presumably)
(1:20:38) The superpowers were another late addition. There was a large design doc where Grian created all the powers, which were handed over to Henkelmax and completed over 4 days
(1:21:42) Grian avoided superpowers involving strength, that could cause someone to die easily. Most of the powers were social or movement-based, which couldn't be used for offence as easily
(1:22:25) Some powers were randomly assigned, others weren't. Impulse's was random. Cleo's, Bigb's, Lizzie's, Grian's were assigned.
(1:24:25) Grian gave himself the mimic because it could easily backfire (like in Grian's fall damage death), and because it would've been confusing for a player who wasn't aware of the other powers. They likely would've spent the episode just figuring out how everything worked and not actually using the power to its best ability
Lots of discussion about the superpowers and how they interacted in the episode itself, go watch if you're interested :)
(1:33:38) Talk on how the series "standard" rules evolved since 3rd Life. There was no keep inventory, and no restrictions on enchanting levels or potions, which created slow or unbalanced fights
(1:36:23) 3rd Life was designed to be an experimental series, which made Grian eager to improve it. For example, some people just weren't dying in 3L, leading to the boogeyman in LL, and so on
(1:37:17) The goal with the seasons isn't to one-up the previous one, but to create a different experience every time, which keeps things engaging for the creators
(1:38:31) At the end of each session, Grian would ask the group if they had fun and how they felt about the wild cards. According the Skizz, the answer was "a resounding yes"
(1:39:08) Grian had moments throughout the season where he personally felt like things didn't go well for him, and was anxious for the rest of the group's episodes. Things worked out while editing the raw footage, though. His issues were never with the wild cards themselves, but his own actions (traps not working, spending too long branch mining), but would always find funny moments in his footage
(1:43:41) Everyone in the Life Series cast genuinely likes and genuinely respects everybody else in the group. This allows them to make the show and get mad at each other, because they know it's all just in-character
(1:44:50) It'd be hard to top Wild Life in spectacle, and Grian doesn't want to start an arms race with himself. The next season could potentially be closer to 3rd Life, but Grian's not sure yet. For Grian, Wild Life was the most enjoyable
(1:45:20) Grian: "As long as people keep enjoying [the Life Series] then I'd love to keep doing it"
(1:49:35) With the finale, Grian knew how the wild cards played out the previous sessions and was able to adjust them
(1:49:56) Grian's goal was to create safe chaos where everyone knew what was happening and wouldn't die to them, which didn't go entirely to plan. The snails were 60% of their original speed and people still died
(1:51:03) Grian made a precise timeline of when each wild card would start/stop, it wasn't randomized.
(1:54:16) All the superpowers were randomized, with Bdubs' power being removed from circulation because it didn't have much use in a finale setting
(1:56:10) It was important for Grian that in the final moments, the wild cards were removed, so there were no interruptions. The timing worked out well because there were a few people left and it ended within ~10 minutes (this implies that the change wasn't based on # of players alive, as people had speculated based on Gem's death)
(1:58:48) The players all randomly switched to zombie skins throughout the session to mess with people on NameMC. Well-played :)

When The Night Calls
[Izuku Midoriya x Female!Reader]
Synopsis: Your best friend leaving the hero course was enough to make you lose your mind. Especially when heâs suddenly standing across from you with nothing but a tired smile.
WC: 2978
Category: Angst, Hurt/Comfort, Vigilante!Deku
Please give this one extra love!! Somehow Midoriya is also very suspiciously difficult to write đ (Also, that 3rd-degree burn I gave my hand today is making me want to cry and throw myself in a river. Damn you, AO3 curse!! )
ăâąâąââąâąă
Seeing that letter taped on your door broke you in more ways than one.
He had been gone for almost a week, but his note left behind made you realize just how long it'd been. How long he had left you with nothing more than a simple explanation of his departure and how it felt like he was never coming back.
The entire class had been on edge ever since. The note even threw Bakugo for a loop, as much as he would deny it. It had everyone wondering where he was and if he was okay.
It hurt you the most, though. He was the closest friend you had and the only one who truly understood your feelings.
But now he was gone.
Aizawa still continued teaching, but with Midoriya absent, the class just couldn't focus. He wasn't as good at making things seem less depressing or stressful, and his lectures were just boring without a green bush to lighten the mood. Or at least, you thought so.
You haven't been paying much attention lately, and you're too busy thinking of your missing friend. Your grades had been slipping, but it wasn't like anyone could blame you. Even if your friends could, they didn't say anything.
They had tried talking to you, but all you could do was give them a half-hearted smile, shake your head, and tell them, "I'm fine."
You weren't fine, and you knew that. But what were you supposed to do? Cry about it? Itâs not like heâd come back if you did that.
Ironically, he did technically come back.
That day, Aizawa decided to keep the pain everyone felt about Midoriya buried beneath the surface, so he assigned you all a ten-page essay about the history of quirks.
So, here you were, writing a half-assed essay close to two in the morning. Kaminari was blowing up the group chat with memes and random jokes, but no one seemed to care or even respond.
Well, that was until Bakugo started yelling at him to stop texting because he was trying to sleep.
That went on for about a solid ten minutes, with everyone getting annoyed at the two idiots, but eventually, it died down.
You took a glance at the clock, which now read 2:12 a.m.
Sleep just couldn't come to you. Not now, not when your brain was filled with thoughts of the broccoli boi.
Then, there was a tiny patter against your window, almost like a knock. If it hadnât been so quiet, you might not have heard it.
You ignored it at first, of course, but it continued, the knocks getting louder and more urgent.
Finally, you stood from your chair, deciding to investigate, but then, the knocking stopped.
You paused, confused, but shrugged, figuring you must have been hearing things.
Yeah, right, because hearing knocks on your dorm window at 2 a.m. is normal.
It turned out to be a good thing you got up because when you turned back around, a figure was directly behind you.
You jumped back in fear, letting out a short shriek before slapping your hands over your mouth. The side eye glance to your window, now open and curtain rustling in the slight wind, had you regretting not locking the damn thing.
The figure let out a small chuckle, his shoulders shaking a bit, and your heart rate sped up.
You could see the person a lot better now that they weren't in the shadows, but the moonlight still kept their face hidden.
All you could see was the curly mess of green hair and a large hoodie with a black mask pulled over the bottom half of their face.
But you didnât have to see his eyes to know exactly who it was.
Your hands fell limply to your sides as the boy stepped closer. His hand reached the hood of his suit, slowly pulling it off, and his bright, emerald green eyes were staring straight into yours.
The only thing you could do was stare, dumbfounded.
"You did lock it, by the way," the boy's voice said. It sounded hoarse and scratchy as if he hadn't spoken in days. He probably hadn't.
Still, his intuition never failed.
You continued to stare, eyes wide and unblinking.
Midoriya's brow furrowed, a look of worry replacing his smile.
"They really should put more difficult locks on these things. I mean, honestly, all I had to do was twist it, and it opened. If I were a villain, thenâ hmph!"
Your arms wrapped around his neck tightly, cutting him off. His eyes widened, surprised, but eventually, he relaxed, wrapping his own arms around your waist and pulling you closer.
"I was so worried," you said. You could feel your body starting to tremble, tears pricking your eyes. "Everyone was."
His arms tightened, his chin resting on your shoulder.
"I know. I'm sorry," he whispered, his breath tickling your ear. "I couldn't think of any other way."
You leaned back a bit enough to look him in the eyes. His tired, determined eyes.
"Wait, if youâre here⊠does that mean...?"
"I need my notebook." He kept his frown, and a sigh escaped his lips. "You have my old notes, right? I need those."
Oh.
That was it.
That was why he was back.
"Oh," You failed to hide the disappointment in your tone. "Right, uh, hold onâŠ"
You pulled away, your eyes looking away from his. You could feel his eyes burning into the back of your head as you walked over to the desk, rummaging through the drawer.
Speaking of, your desk was an absolute disaster. If allowing students in your dorm room wasn't against the rules, Iida would have broken down your door a long time ago, screaming at the top of his lungs about how your room was in utter chaos.
Eventually, you found it. It was covered in sticky notes, and some of the pages were folded. Makes sense, considering the fact that you'd spent the last week reading it, studying, and hoping to find some kind of clue about his whereabouts and the league itself.
But even if it was in your hands, screaming for its owner, you hesitated. He was going to leave again, wasn't he? He wasn't going to stay.
But common sense hit you. You couldnât force him to stay. It would be selfish of you to even ask.
You turned, walking back over to him. He was staring intently at the ground, his eyes narrowed in concentration, and he had a small frown on his face.
When you were a couple of feet away, he finally looked up, his hand reaching out for the book.
"Here," you said, trying not to let the sadness seep into your words. "Donât mind the added stickies. Simpler terms, easier to understand, you know?"
"Right, thanks," he murmured, his eyes darting over the cover before flipping through the pages. His brows were scrunched together, and his fingers fiddled with the pages, flipping through them with a practiced speed.
He was so concentrated on the notebook that he didn't see your frown, and he didn't see the sadness in your eyes.
But then, he froze.
His eyes scanned over one of the pages, his fingers tightening around the spine of the book, and his breath hitched.
His eyes flickered up to yours, and his lips were set in a tight line.
"You read this?"
"Huh?" You blinked, taken aback. "Was I⊠not supposed to read it all?"
"What? No, no, I meant this page."
He flipped the book around, opening it to a certain page, and held it up for you to see.
Oh, yeah, his page. The one where he wrote about himself. Which, proudly, you knew most of what was written in it, anyway. Some things caught you off guard, but not many.
"Oh, yeah, I skimmed over it," you admitted.
"And... how much did you skim over?"
"Um... all of it? I mean, I'm in your hero notes, too. I took a lot more of my time on the page dedicated to me, I have to admit, but uh⊠What's the big deal?"
Midoriya looked at you, and his gaze was intense. "Did you⊠miss me that much that you would study my hero notes that closely?"
"Well, I wouldnât say closelyâ"
He tilted his head in an almost sarcastic manner, and his eyes narrowed as he leaned over to point at a section in his notes.
A bright pink sticky note, covered in stars, was stuck onto the paper.
It was a small part, a very short paragraph, and you had given your analysis of him and not of his quirk either. It was a list of his attributes, his personality, and the type of hero he was.
To someone else, it would be pretty informative about what kind of person he was and what kind of hero he would be, but you both knew the true meaning behind the note.
Because it was all the things you missed about him.
"⊠oh, " was all you could say.
The air around you two suddenly became awkward, the silence becoming heavy.
The tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife.
But, as expected, Midoriya broke the silence.
"I figured since youâre still awake, it must mean that you're working on homework or studying, and you wouldnât do that at night if I werenât gone," he began. "I thought that maybe it would be too soon to come back, or even that I should have stayed away, but, well, I really needed my notes, and, honestly, I wanted to see you, andâ!"
He was rambling again. You could practically see the gears turning in his head, his brain spitting out more words than his mouth could.
At least he was still himself, you thought.
You decided to cut him off, placing your hand on his arm, and he jolted at the sudden contact, his head snapping back up to yours.
"Iâm sorry," you said, looking down.
He looked confused, tilting his head. "What for? You have nothing to be sorry for; you didn't do anything wrong."
"No, Iâ" You cut yourself off, biting your lip, and looked away. You took a deep breath before speaking.
"I'm sorry," you started. "For not stopping you. For not coming with you. For not helping you. I had no idea what you were going through, and I was too worried about myself, and I didn'tâ"
"Hey, hey, stop," Midoriya said, placing his hand on your shoulder. You hadn't realized you were shaking. "This is my fight, okay? It's not yours, and I was the one who didnât want to bring anyone else into this mess. This isnât your fault, so please donât beat yourself up about it."
"I don't know what I'm supposed to do." You looked back up at him, tears blurring your vision. "I donât know how to help."
He was silent for a moment, but then, he pulled you closer, wrapping his arms around you once again, and you buried your head in his chest, gripping the fabric of his hoodie.
"It's okay," he said. "I donât expect you to know how to help, and I didnât come here for your help. Well, technically, I did since you had my notebook, but Iâm speaking on aâ"
âI know, I know," you mumbled.
Another moment of silence, and then, he sighed, a puff of air brushing your ear.
"I'm not sure when I'll be back, if I ever will, but I promise," he whispered, his breath tickling your ear and his words making your heart skip a beat. "I promise we will be fine. We all will. Me, you, everyone else. It might take a while, but we will be okay."
You nodded, your grip on his hoodie tightening. This was the sound of a goodbye, and the finality of it terrified you.
"Itâs justâŠ" you mumbled, and his brow furrowed.
"Just what?"
You hesitated, a lump forming in your throat.
"What?" He repeated, pulling back to look you in the eye. "Please tell me."
You took a deep breath, swallowed the lump, and looked him in the eye.
"It's just that... Youâre my not-alone buddy, remember?â
Midoriya froze, his eyes widening.
It was a little game you two had back when things werenât so complicated. Back when you were just normal students.
You both struggled to make friends, so you made a pact. Obviously, that thought disbanded when everyone else got close, and now you all were pretty good friends, but the friendship between him and you was different. It was a bond between you two that was just special.
Not even âKacchanâ could ruin that, as close as he and Midoriya grew.
You never called him Deku, even after Bakugo and the rest of the class started calling him by the nickname. Sure, it was his hero name, and you could call him that, but you just never felt comfortable.
Todoroki didnât either, but then again, Todoroki didn't call anyone by their nicknames.
But, back to the point.
"We made a pact, and... that was one of the things I wrote on the sticky notes." You gestured to the book. "It was during my angry denial phase, so Iâm not that proud of it, but⊠it was still true."
"You were angry?" He asked, confused. "Why?"
"Well, first of all, I was worried sick. I knew you were going to go do something stupid, and obviously, I was right.â
He winced at that.
"But I was angry because you didnât trust me, and I felt like you were leaving me, too," you said, biting your lip. "I know that sounds stupid and selfish, and I get that this was your battle, not mine, and I can't change that, but... I guess I was just scared. You didnât even tell me before you left, and the note was just..."
You trailed off, a lump forming in your throat again, and your eyes burned with tears.
You didn't want to cry in front of him, so you buried your face in his chest again, and his grip tightened around you.
"I'm sorry," he apologized.
You shook your head. "Donât apologize. It's not like you're changing your mind."
He was quiet for a moment, his head lowering and his lips resting on your forehead.
"I'm sorry," he whispered.
Your breath hitched. "Izuku, please don't say it."
He pulled back, and his face was unreadable. He looked determined, his eyes burning with passion, and it hurt. It hurt to know that, despite everything, he still had his mind made up.
"I have to go," he said, and his voice was quiet. "I donât want to leave you alone. I really donât, but I have to, and you need to stay safe. Me being here isn't doing anything good, and I can't keep coming back and putting you in danger. So, for now, at least until the Shigaraki is dealt with, please just be safe. Donât try and find me, and please don't let anyone else know I was here."
He paused, his eyes glancing towards the window.
"Actually, I might come back just to get rid of that lock. I mean, seriously, I barely even touched it, and it came right off. You could easily replace it with something stronger, maybe one of those new locks that only respond to fingerprints! But, then it can be traced back to you, and they can use you toâ oh, man, I'm rambling again, aren't I?"
You didn't bother to respond. Instead, you leaned up, pressing your lips against his cheek.
Midoriya's entire face went bright red, his mouth opening and closing like a fish.
You could feel your face burning, but it was worth it to see his reaction.
"Be careful," you said. "Please, Izu, donât be stupid."
"R-Right."
He stumbled a bit, his hand coming up to touch the spot where your lips were. His eyes flickered back to you, and you swore you saw him blushing, but then he turned, heading towards the window.
"Oh, uhm, b-by the way," he said, reaching the window. He placed his hand on the frame, glancing back at you. "For Aizawa's essay, you have to also analyze the strengths and weaknesses, not just the evolution of quirks. Make sure to read the whole paragraph in that book he gave us at the beginning of the semester."
He gave you one last smile, pulling the mask over his mouth and the hood over his head. You looked in befuddlement as he stepped out onto the roof, and your hands were wrapped around the edges of the open window.
"How did youâ"
"It's Aizawa," His mask was muffling his voice, so he lifted it up a bit, and his eyes twinkled. "What else do you expect from him?"
And then he jumped.
He let the mask drop back down and became just another shadow in the night, with his green lightning trailing behind him.
You didnât have the energy to laugh, and you didn't have the heart.
You leaned against the windowsill, letting the cool night air wash over your face. You sighed, watching the clouds drift in the sky.
"You're still an idiot," you whispered, closing your eyes.
When the sun rises, this encounter will only be a distant memory.
But for now, the cold night was enough to convince you otherwise. For now, his green eyes were staring up at the same night sky, and he was thinking of you, too.
That kiss on the cheek, as tame as it was, was still enough to make his head spin. You were still his friend, his not-alone buddy, and nothing was going to change that.
And you both were okay with that.

Thinking about reader asking Jack what Aaronâs favorite meal is and then reader surprising him by making it when he comes back from a case? It may not even be his favorite meal, Jack could easily say his favorite instead đ, but coming back to a home cooked meal has him like đ„č
cooking up trouble

jack's besides you, standing on a chair and assisting - aka your little helper.
"careful." you gently warn, intently watching as jack stirred the boiling pasta. you were weary of the threatening steam, the droplets of hot water flicking out of the pot.
"i'm being careful."
"i know you are love, 'm just being cautious. sometimes boiling water has a mind of it's own and i'd hate to see it spit at you."
jack happened to burn himself once in the past, as the two of you were making cookies. he had merely grazed the baking sheet and the burn was less than mild, just a small tinge of skin that vanished within five minutes, but it had both of you in tears - in which jack did not witness on your end, you cried later that night in bed with aaron. it was an accident and no one was at fault, but you still felt awful.
and ever since, if jack wanted to bake or help with dinner, you complied, but were more on alert, extra careful, feeling partially at guilt.
you even considered putting the oven mitts on his hands for an extra layer of safety. however, they were much too large for him, would cover well past his elbow, and would make it more difficult to mix - the constraint potentially making it more dangerous.
in the distance, the click and shut of the door announced aaron's arrival home, and jack was quick to yell daddy! amidst stirring. meanwhile, you didn't dare to direct your focus to anything that wasn't jack. it doesn't take long for you to feel aaron's presence behind you, his familiar cologne invading your senses.
"hello." his voice is a little more singsong, lighter as he's happy to finally be home. aaron leans forward to kiss your cheek sweetly, then places one on the top of jack's head, more accessible than usual from the height given from the chair he's stood on. his chest is to your back, hands winding around your waist. "what's this?"
you peer back with a grin. "your favorite. we'd thought it'd be a nice surprise to come home to."
aaron paused. but due to the clear enthusiasm in your voice, and not wanting to dampen your spirit, he was quick to agree, hand running up and down your abdomen. "uh-yeah. it looks amazing. and smells even better."
you felt the hesitance in his posture, chest vaguely stiffening behind you, as well as noticed a hint of forced strain within his voice.
your heart dropped a bit, in surprise, carefully taking the spoon from jack, turning the stovetop's dial down a notch. "wait, is it not?"
another kissed was pressed to your temple, a hand splayed on your hip. "anything you make is my favorite."
"no." you huffed a laugh, turning around to face him and waving the spoon at him, "don't pull that. is this not your favorite?"
"well," aaron exhaled a breath, his head cocked a bit to the side as he considered how to approach the bench. he could try and convince you that yes, it was, but at your exasperated expression, he knew you wouldn't accept anything else. "it's good. but if i'm being honest, it wouldn't be my first choice, no."
your shoulders fell in slight defeat, but aaron craned his neck down to glance at jack, who had been suspiciously quiet. in fairness, aaron knew what was going on the second he realized what was cooking.
as if he could feel his father's stare, jack peeked up, eyes lined with the small guilt of being caught, but accompanied with a smile. he knew, that dad knew.
aaron's eyebrows lifted, the ends of his pursed lips raised in amusement. "but if i recall correctly, it may be a certain, someone else's favorite."
it took you less than a second to catch on.
"jack!" you whine-laughed, narrowing your eyes playfully. "you told me tortellini was your dad's favorite."
he blinked at you, playing up the innocence in eyes. "i thought it was."
"just like how you thought dad needed ice cream sundaes afterwards too?" you arched in eyebrow in question. that, you knew was jack's own request, but you decided to indulge him anyway when he mentioned it as the two of you were shopping for ingredients.
jack nodded with a toothy smile, clearly proud of himself. "uh huh."
"okay you sneaky little bug," you hoisted jack up from the chair, placing him down. "how 'bout you go set the table. dinner's just about ready."
as jack scurried off to the dining room, again, an embarrassed laugh escaped you. "i feel silly-"
"sweetheart," aaron stopped you. "this is wonderful. a homecooked meal, prepared by my favorite person. with the help of my son, although the cunning sous chef? there's not much i can complain about."
"but i thought-"
"whatever you thought, still applies. i am surprised. i'm thrilled to be coming home to a warm dinner. i'm touched you thought of me. i'm so sick of takeout, you have no idea."
by your slight off-putting expression, aaron could tell you still weren't convinced. hopefully, his next playful remark would further settle you, easing your mind.
"i also think it's hilarious jack managed to pull this on you."
you immediately snorted a laugh through your nose, prompting a laugh to exit aaron too. "i have a soft spot for the hotchner boys, what can i say."
"and we love you for it." aaron teased, giving you a quick kiss. "do you need help with anything else?"
you nodded, your expression softening to normal, one of content. "there's fixings for a salad, if you wanted to quickly throw that together?"
the two of you worked silently, simply enjoying each other's company; aaron tossed the salad together, complete with romaine, miscellaneous vegetables, adding a garlic vinaigrette. meanwhile, you oversaw the sauce, making sure the salt amount was just enough to bring out the flavor, but not overpower.
"what is it?" you asked suddenly, tapping the spoon against the edge of the pot to return any lingering sauce.
"what's what?"
"your favorite meal. i can't believe i don't know."
"i already told you." aaron pressed his lips to yours, smiling into the kiss. "anything you make."
you retreated with a hmph and a playful eye roll, resisting the urge to smile. you lifted the pot from the stovetop, trailing over to the sink to dump the pasta into the strainer. aaron followed, fingers slipping into your belt loops and pulling you against him suggestively.
"if you're looking for a PG answer, that is."

AUTHORâS NOTE: repost bc i need this dilf in my bed rn đ
"I'll make it home to you by six, mama. Take you out on a nice date, get you some flowers, all that stuff you like. Promise."
The clock was nearing eight o'clock with no signs of Toji coming through the door anytime soon, your own patience starting to run out with every tick. Tick tock. Tick tock. Tick tock. The sound echoed through your ears since you'd sat down on the leather couch nearly two hours ago, waiting for Toji to fulfill the promise. A promise that he'd made after flaking out on the date planned prior to that one.
And prior to that one. And prior. It'd been more missed dates than actual ones that he'd taken you out by nowâyou weren't exactly sure why you'd hoped for tonight to be different. Well, you knew exactly why. Today marked three years of being married to one another. You knew that he didn't prioritize date nights with you as much as he should, but you had held some sort of foolish hope that your anniversary would mean somethingâanything to him.
The divorce papers felt like a dead weight in your hand, much like how your relationship would be the second that you brought it up. It all just seemed so final, seeing the terms laid out that would end years of marriage. Just by the flick of a pen. But the idea was almost like a reprieve, like something that was worth looking forward to. You shook your head, getting up from the couch to set the stack of papers on the kitchen table where Toji wouldn't miss them.
Another half hour of eerie silence and Toji still hadn't come through the door. It was getting increasingly difficult to keep some semblance of hope that he'd even show up at all, much less for your date. You admitted defeat, slipping off your heels and pulling up a throw blanket over yourself. Succumbing to the sleep that was weighing down on your eyelids.
You weren't even sure how much time had passed when you heard the door swing open, the door hitting the wall from the force. The thud of his shoes hitting the tile followed, a grumble leaving Toji's lips. "Fuckin' bastards rigged that race. Robbed me of fifty bucks," he muttered to himself, slipping his coat off before placing it up on the coat rack.
"You're home late," you called out, watching as Toji turned to look at the couch before flicking on one of the living room lights. "Jesus woman, you scared me," he grumbled, a large hand resting by his chest as he looked over in your direction. Toji rubbed a hand over his face, exhaustion lingering on his face like a second skin. It was only then that he looked over at you, really looked at you, and what you were wearing.
Ah shit.
Almost as if he wanted to make the situation worse, he'd chosen to go with, "You got all dolled up just to fall asleep on the couch?" You could've sworn you felt your eye twitch at the question. He'd barely opened up his mouth and you were already wishing that he didn't even bother showing up for the night.
Toji knew he was in deep shit with each step he took into the living room, his mind already starting to work overdrive to figure out what he could do for what he'd missed. A date? No, you wouldn't have put on the very expensive pair of Louboutins for just any date. His mind was blanking on anything other than the numbers that he'd lost with earlier in the day. Come on, think.
"No, I got dolled up because I thought I'd be going out with my husband tonight," you retorted dryly, smudges of eyeshadow sticking to your hand when you went to rub at your eyes. You could see Toji's brows furrow, the wheels seeming to turn in his head for once, before a look of realization settled on his features.
"Look, I'm sorry. I got carried away at the casino," one of the many excuses you'd heard before coming back to bite you in the ass. The same excuse that he'd used last month when he forgot about a work party you'd mentioned to him. Which wouldn't have been too bad if it weren't for all the snide comments being whispered in your direction and all the unwarranted marriage advice.
Advice that you ended up forgetting about chugging down two glasses of tequila like water. "I'll make it up to you, I swear. You can pick the place and all that shit." There went another one. He'd really topped himself using the two of them in a row. You rubbed the bridge of your nose, looking over at him in disbelief. "Do you even know what today was? Why I'm so pissed off?"
"It's your birthday?" Toji spoke after a couple seconds, the answer clearly wrong just by the look on his face. You rubbed a hand over your face, standing up from your spot on the couch. "It's our wedding anniversary, Toji," you spoke up before he made another guess that would just piss you off even further, "And I have something I need to talk to you about. It's on the kitchen table."
Underneath the vase filled with wilted flowersâa collection more than anything that you kept around as a reminder that Toji used to care, was a stack of papers. He placed the vase down on the table with more force than necessary upon realizing what the documents were. "A divorce?" The words slipped out of him with such venom, such distaste, like the idea was unfathomable.
Toji slammed the papers down on the table, the salt and pepper shakers trembling before falling over. "Is that really what you want?" He stepped closer to you when you approached the table, his hands instinctively moving to hold your hips. Holding you close to his body. "No, I didn't get married with the intention of getting a divorce. But you've been neglecting this marriage for a couple months now."
"I'll make it up to you now," Toji spoke quickly, like he was afraid of losing you at any moment. Like you'd disappear if he didn't. And as much as you wanted to avoid looking over at him, the task had just become all that much difficult when you had nowhere else to look at. It only took one glance at his face to realize just what he meant by 'making it up to you.'
"You think you're gonna fix months of pushing me aside with just sex?"
"Nah, I know it's gonna take more. But you've been so tired, isn't that right? So tired of tryin' to keep this marriage from falling apart and nobody taking care of you?" His words were like a siren's song when he whispered them in your ear, your traitorous body leaning back to meet the drag of your fingertips. It was almost laughable at how easily your resolve had melted. "Lemme take care of you mama. Promise I'll make you feel good."
"You wanna call me a dick, never wanna see me again? That's fine, just don't deny me one last taste. Please," And while Toji wasn't a man to beg for anything in his life, he found himself saying the words anyways. "Thought this was you making it up to me," and as much as you were willing yourself not to fold, you felt yourself spreading your legs almost instinctively when his finger dragged up your inner thigh.
"Can't it be both?" Toji's teeth nipped at your neck, licking a stripe up the junction of your neck. Practically salivating at the taste of you, of the expensive perfume you'd put on just a mere hours beforehand. "One could say that you're just being selfish," your words quickly died out when Toji started sucking on your pulse point, your own heartbeat betraying you. You'd expected Toji to sass you back, say something about how your body was just so needy against his touch.
But instead, he dropped down to his knees in front of you. The wooden floor underneath his knees almost made him feel bad for all the times he had you in a similar position. Almost. Toji looked up at you, "Selfish only when it comes to you."
Every slow drag of his fingertips across your smooth skin seemed almost reverentâ like you were something to worship. You were, he just failed to realize that until now. Until you were almost out the door. "I'm sorry," the first real apology of the night slipped out of his mouth, his lips pressed against your shin. "I'm sorry," he moved up to your knee, repeating the action. Hushed whispers of I'm sorry's and featherlight kisses moving up your legs, stopping only when he gets to your clothed cunt.
"I'm sorry," Toji uttered his last apology against your cunt, his eyes locking onto yours as he applied an open mouthed kiss on your clothed clit. Barely darting his tongue out, swirling it against the nerves that were just begging for one ounce of stimulation. And he was practically reveling in how needy he made you in the span of seconds. Your back arched to rest against the seat behind you, one of your hands going to rest on his head.
Toji's fingers dragged slowly in between your folds, feeling the wet patch already starting to form through the thin lace material. You refused to make eye contact with him, knowing that if you did, he'd be able to see just how desperate you were in just a manner of seconds. Even if the bastard probably had a clue already. "You sure your pussy agrees with the divorce?" His voice came out to something akin to a purr, the drag of his fingers slowing down.
Getting you even more worked up than you were already. "Fucking hate you, can't even apologize right," you let out a hiss, your hand going down to his hair. Pulling his head even closer to you despite your previous claim. "Fine, I'll apologize correctly," Toji sounded like you were the one inconveniencing himâto which you were. He wanted to take his time with his meal, have you begging for him to touch you. And normally, he would've.
If he weren't desperate to have your cunt on his face again after weeks, months? of just having his fist to work with. His fist and a used pair of your panties up to his nose like a pervert, hips humping the air in desperation. Imagining that it was your tongue flicking across his leaking tip instead of his thumb, that it was your soft hands in exchange of his rough ones. And as easy as it was for him to get laidâhe didn't want to be with anyone that wasn't you.
Toji hadn't tasted someone as sweet as you, heard someone so angelic before, but now he supposed that maybe he'd have to put that theory to the test if you left him after all. Just the idea was maddening. That someone else would be doing the same thing that he's doing to you now, that they'd give you the affection that he should've given.
"Especially sorry to you. Been neglecting you for too long," he hooked his fingers around the side of your panties, pulling them to the side just enough to reveal your slick folds to him. Toji swiped the tip of his finger along your entrance, your slick glistening against the harsh kitchen lighting before he stuck in his mouth. Swirling his tongue around it, licking away at it like the slut he was.
And like the deprived man that he'd been, Toji's hands went to the lace of your underwear and stretched it out until a loud rip echoed throughout the kitchen. "You always this wet for people you hate? Or is that just for me?" Toji taunted, pushing your tattered panties down to your ankles. Finally leaning in closer to where you were aching for him to touch you. To do something other than just tease you relentlessly.
Toji settled on his knees behind you, spreading your legs open like you were his favorite meal. His tongue swiped up on your dripping cunt, licking up your essence with sheer greed. "Mmph fuck, so good," his words came out muffled, his tongue swiping across your folds before darting inside of your cunt. Your grip on the table tightened, your hips working on their own accord to push back onto his face. Practically suffocating him in your pussy. Not that he minded. By any means.
Toji practically welcomed it, his hands pushing you down onto his face. Getting absorbed in your cunt completely. "A-Ah fuck, Toji!" You could already see the noise complaint hanging on your front door first thing in the morning. But how could you be expected to keep your voice down? Toji spread your folds apart with two fingers as if he were preparing for a feast, his tongue feverishly licking in between.
"Fuckin' soaked already, knew you loved me," The vibration of the low chuckle that followed his words shot currents up your spine, your ass jiggling all that much more in his face. With such a decadent taste coating his taste buds, dying by your pussy would be nothing short of a blissful way to go out. One of the fingers that he'd been using to spread your folds had been pushed inside of your cunt, your walls clenching around him.
Toji's tongue flicked against your clit, swirling the tip around the bud while his finger slowly pushed further inside of you. The loud squelch of your cunt was the only thing that filled the apartment, everything else completely silent. Your fingers dug deeper into his scalp, a low groan leaving his lips. "F-Fuck, Toji Toji," he pushed another thick finger inside, moving them in a scissoring motion to stretch you out.
"You think y're gonna find someone who can do this?" Toji looked up at you, his fingers curling up to hit that spongy spot inside of you almost perfectly. And if you didn't know any better, you'd almost say that he looked vulnerable while he made the question. Toji's lips wrapped around your clit, gently sucking on it as his fingers worked you closer and closer to your orgasm. You couldn't bring yourself to answerâdidn't trust yourself to speak.
"Toji, Toji, gonna cum," you gave him a warning, your jaw falling slack and your lips parting in a o-shape. Soundless moans leaving your lips, feeling that coil in your lower tummy start to tighten up all the much more. With one final pump of his fingers, you were covering his lips with your release. His tongue swiped across his lips, across the scar that he hated, collecting every drop. Savoring what he imagined would be the last taste of you.
"Turn around," It was almost embarrassing how quickly you'd turned around per your soon-to-be ex husband's request.
Toji didn't take more than a couple seconds in unbuttoning his pants and taking them off, his cock hitting his stomach once it was released from its confines. Precum dribbled from his annoyingly almost pretty pink tip, dripping onto the floor. Drip. Drip. Drip. His cock slid through your folds like a slip n slide, your previous orgasm coating his tip with every lazy drag. "Toji," your voice bordered on a whine, pushing your hips to try to meet his movements.
"Tell me what you want," Toji clicked his tongue, one of his hands moving to hold your waist. Keeping you completely still until he got what he wanted. You figured there wasn't any harm in whiningâyou were already fucking the man after you brought up a divorce. There truly wasn't that much more to lose. "Why do I have to ask for it when you're the one apologizing?"
"Because you're the one pushing your hips back against me. All needy 'n shit. So.. beg."
"Want you inside me, Toji. Please."
"Want?"
You let out a huff before correcting yourself, "Need."
"Come on, doll. You can say it nicer than that, right?" Toji's pointer trailed up your torso, leaving goosebumps in his wake.
So goddamn annoying. You swallowed whatever pride you had left before looking back over at him, "Please, Toji. Need your cock in me. Please."
Toji clicked his tongue, one hand wrapping around his cock and giving himself a couple tentative pumps. "Think you can beg better than that. But since I'm feeling nice, I guess I'll let it slide." So much for feeling apologetic. Toji pushed his cock inside of you in one swift motion, a hiss leaving your lips at the stretch. Even with the fingers that'd been inside of you, nothing could've really prepared you.
"You okay?" Toji dropped his head to rest on your shoulder, whispering the words in your ear. Staying still while your walls tried to adjust to the overwhelming stretch. "You try taking your cock," you muttered dryly, giving him a nod to start moving. "Why would I do that when you take it so well?" Toji pushed the rest of his cock inside, his hands resting on your hips.
Toji wasn't particularly known for being gentleâthe one hospital visit after he'd injured your cervix more than enough proof of that, but he started off slow. Slow, shallow thrusts. Fucking you in a way that he hasn't since your honeymoon. "Toji, you can speed up," you assured him, your words getting cut off with a smack to your ass. "What I'd say about tellin' me what to do?" Ah, there was the mean Toji that you recognized.
"Wouldn't need to tell you what to do if my vibrator wasn't looking more appealing right now."
Famous last words.
The change was almost immediate. Mascara dribbled down your cheeks, the sight of your once composed makeup all ruined making Toji's cock twitch inside of you. "Fucking pretty like this, y'know?" His teeth sunk down on the junction of your shoulder, his teeth grazing across the sensitive flesh. His hips snapped roughly into yours, your breathing growing erratic. "Fuck, Fuck, Toji!"
The coldness of his gold wedding band hit your skin as soon as he went to grip your hips, holding you against him like he needed to be close to you. The two of you had been distant for some time and he hadn't bothered to take off his wedding band once, not even on the rare occasion that he actually did happen to take a job. Toji would never admit it, of courseâbut he was starved for the feeling of your skin against his own.
To confirm that you were still here after all.
Your hands reached out to grab to whatever you could grabâanything, and of course, it just happened to be the divorce papers sitting on the middle of the table. Practically taunting you as your own signature glared back at you. "This good enough for you, princess?" Toji taunted in your ear, his blunt fingernails digging into your sides. "Mhm, j-just like that," your voice came out in a mewl, all bits of defiance completely out of your system.
"There you go. Nasty fucking girl," Toji all but purred in your ear the moment you started to jerk your hips back to meet his own, your ass bouncing with each one of his thrusts. "Just needed Toji to take care of ya," all you could was nod your head fervently, your grip on the divorce papers tightening. And Toji, of course, took notice. He took the papers from you with one hand, giving them a once-over before passing them back over.
"Come on, since ya wanted it so bad, read me those divorce papers," Toji handed you the stack of papers, pointing to where you'd signed your initials just a couple hours prior. Your hands shook as you held the papers, your vision blurry as you tried to make out the legal jargon in front of you. Even the simplest of words seemed all too complicated to try to make out.
"T-Toji, I can't," your voice cracked, your grip on the papers tightening when his cock reached all that much deeper inside of you. Toji clicked his tongue, peering over your shoulder to read the first sentence from the document. "That's not what it says ma, try again."
"Without all the stuttering too."
You took a deep breath, willing yourself to focus on the words in front of you instead of Toji's cock sinking further and further into you. "S-Says that the divorce agreement was made today between us," you clutched the sheets tighter, your eyes almost rolling back when Toji bottomed out inside of you. The tip of his cock dripping precum, your walls fluttering as you tried to get adjusted.
"Mm, yeah, keep goin'," Toji really couldn't careâhis focus solely on the way that your cunt stretched out to fit his cock. Leaking around his shaft, loud squelches when he pulled out overplaying whatever shitty soap opera was playing. "And what'd I say about the s-stuttering?" Toji mocked your words, his own hips stuttering mere seconds later while he tried not to get absorbed in your cunt. Not that it was an easy task by any means.
It was hard, especially with the way that you claimed to be over this marriage despite your pussy claiming otherwise. When you opened your mouth to speak, the only thing that left you was a moan. "F-Fuck Toji, right there," your eyes shut tightly at the touch of his calloused hand making itself in between your legs, his thumb rubbing at your clit in a speed that felt like it combated his own running abilities.
"That's not what it says, c'mon," Toji grabbed your chin with his thumb and pointer, turning your head to face the overwhelmingly long divorce papers. You wouldn't finish tonight if he intended for you to read the whole thing, you knew that much. A harsh slap against your swollen clit made the pleasure coursing through your veins mix with pain, a shaky gasp leaving your kiss-swollen lips.
Drool leaked from the corner of your mouth, the black ink smearing with each drop that fell from your parted lips. Your walls enveloped every inch of his cock perfectly, your cunt holding his cock in a vice-like grip. "That I won't try to t-take your things," you managed to get out, hoping that it would be good enough. You knew the two of you wouldn't finish today if he made you read the never ending stack of papers.Â
"Good enough," Toji sounded like he would've kept it going if he could, but you set them down as quickly as he spoke. It was almost like Toji was trying to remind you of why you'd fallen in love with him in the first placeâthe man reverent to your cunt and your cunt only. Every grip of your hips kept you closer and closer to his body, almost as a way for Toji to make sure you weren't slipping away.
"Whâ" Before you had the chance to complain about the loss of contact, Toji had already carried you without a smidge of struggle. His hands hooked underneath your plush thighs, hoisting you up against the wall. Your legs instinctively wrapped around his slutty waist, practically clinging onto him like a koala. "There we go, there's that pretty lil face," Toji placed his pointer underneath your chin, taking in the view in front of him.
The glazed over look in your eyes, the sweat beading up on your forehead, the makeup that he'd successfully ruinedâeverything about you was just so beautiful. How you tried to avoid looking in his direction for too long. "Don't leave me ma, need you in my life," the words were whispered into your ear, his cock pushing back inside of you in one swift motion. Toji's fingers went back to your throbbing clit, his pointer and middle rubbing against it at the perfect speed.
Not too fast, not too slow, and not too rough.
"Don't ask me to do that," you almost sounded pained as you spokeânot from him filling you up, but for the implication of his words. You'd practically babble anything right now, anything for him to keep going. To forget about the reality that awaits the two of you. Toji's lips found yours in an instant, the exchange between the two of you almost depraved. His mouth was feverish in the way that it moved against yours, like he'd never get the chance again.
Your hand went to the back of his head, pushing him closer against you. Letting yourself forget for just a little while longer. A string of saliva connected your lips to his when you pulled awayâonly to catch air. "Iâm close, Toji, so close," you whined against his lips, your release coating his shaft a mere moments later. Toji only used that as lubricant, his movements quicker against your cunt to chase his own release.
"There's no one else for me, I'll stop goin' to t-the casino, stop gettin' into trouble," Toji had been reduced to a babbling the first thing he pulled out of his ass, if only to get you to stay. His head rested against the junction of your neck, basking in the remnants of proximity that he could get. Shaky breaths left his lips with each thrust of his hips, feeling himself getting closer and closer. "You've been saying that since we've been married."
"I mean it this time, I promise," you'd never heard a lie sound so pretty slipping from someone's lips before until now.
He bit down on the side of your neck, hard. Not hard enough to draw blood, but hard enough to where you'd probably have to use a tube of concealer to even attempt to cover up the bruising mark. Causing you problems even now. But you'd be lying if the sudden act of possessiveness had your walls clenching against him even tighter, if that was even possible anymore.
His cock was barely moving against the tight grip you held around his shaft, his pace stuttering. "Fuck, fuck, so tight," Toji let out a loud groan, completely at the will of your pussy. He threw his head back, a light shade of pink dusting his cheeks in this lighting. Ropes and ropes of cum decorated your cunt, his softening length snug inside of you. Toji ended up pulling out a couple moments later, scooping the drops of cum that leaked down your thighs with his finger.
Toji was shameless in the way that he stuck the finger in his mouth, a low moan leaving his lips at the combined taste of him and you. Before your rationality came back, before you got the chance to even think about regretting this, you leaned in and crashed your lips against his own. Tasting yourself on his tongue. The kiss lingered between the two of you more than it needed to, it was less rushed than the prior ones you'd shared.
Like a last taste.
"So, you still want to get that divorce?" Toji knew you would've just babbled whatever for him to keep going, saving the question until now. His movements were almost reluctant as he pulled his pants over his legs once again, making little attempt to fix up his hair. If anything, his fingers only ended up messing the strands even more. Despite knowing the answer deep down, Toji still held out hope. That maybe you'd had some eye-opening moment while he was balls-deep.
You stood up properly, looking over at the ruined sheets on the table before looking back over at him. "I do," you spoke after a couple seconds, grabbing your tattered panties from the floor and smoothing over your dress. Trying to maintain whatever semblance of dignity you had left. Even if it was probably just as tattered up as your underwear at this point.
"Why? You know I love you. You know that you love me. So why should we get separated?" You did know that. But you also weren't sure that he'd ever loved you enough to consider changing. To consider the fact that you needed some sort of affection outside of sex.
"Because you think that somehow every problem between us can be resolved with sex. You say that you want to do better and yet, you never do. It doesn't even feel like you're my husband half of the time," all the bottled up feelings from the past couple months spilled out of you in a manner of seconds. All the bottled up thoughts that maybe you should've told your husband about earlier. Though, you weren't even sure if Toji would've paid it any mind.
And almost as if he'd read your train of thought, "Why didn't you tell me about all this before just hittin' me with divorce papers?"
"Because the few times that I did, you told me to stop bitching. That I shouldn't have anything to complain about with a roof over my head and a fridge full of food," you started off, almost waiting for him to deny what you were saying, "And while I'm not saying that I'm not thankful for those things, I also don't want to feel ungrateful for saying that I miss my husband."
Silence lingered between the two of you, each second that passed by only confirming what the two of you already knew by now. That a divorce wasn't such a far-fetched idea. Toji knew there wasn't left to even attempt fighting for, so he simply just told you, "I'll sign 'em when you get the new ones."

so more on that role reversal au...
Shadow (created as a Weapon Against Humanity) who was eventually raised, and exploited, by G.U.N to become Humanity's Ultimate weapon and Sonic, found by Robotnik
some more expanded thoughts below ^_^
SHADOW - G.U.N AGENT
Shadow was initially created with the intention of being a Weapon Against Humanity. after a life-altering incident, G.U.N. takes Shadow into their custody, raising him to become one of their top agents, exploiting him.
he's constantly under government surveillance... inhibitor rings (developed by G.U.N.) are clamped onto him like a shock collar so he is unable to tap into his full power. (Shadow has neither tested nor does he know the extent of his strength.. he has never tried removing them. G.U.N. is the only one who can remove them.)
the hypocritical method in wanting their weapon (cough trained dog) to exercise and develop restraint on his own terms, and yet forcefully acclimating him.
Shadowâs aware of his past. Definitely struggles with Existential dread about why heâs on Earth and what he was made for. he wants to (and feels like he should) do good, but if he was initially made with destructive intent⊠is he compensating this way? is this what he really wants? no.. he shouldn't think like that.. Maria would want him to be good..
If not to make the world the better a place, if they still treat his kind as inferior and sometimes, even a threat to the whole human race, does humanity and this planet still deserve its rite for redemption? What is humanity? Is that something heâs capable of, as a weapon of mass destruction?
what is he trying to prove here? His docility? His ability to be obedient and be, by human standards, good? what does that mean in a world that may never accept them, and much less him- a synthetic and all-unnatural organism forged from humanityâs worst and an alien race only capable of Evil and wrongdoing. a being so perfectly suited for any and all forms of persecution. Humankindâs scapegoat. He thinks about Maria.
Maria remains a guiding light. Back then, she would sneak Shadow out to gaze upon the Earth, her former home. She misses it, the lush greenery, the sun, the people. she hopes that Shadow will get to experience what itâs like.
au shadow is emo edgy in a sad wet adult 40yo cat leon kennedy kind of way. au sonic is emo edgy like a 14yo that found out you could buy a tattoo gun on amazon without a license. I know nothing about resident evil
when he's not on a mission, he's usually in his "room" (extremely generous word for containment chamber/training facility.) he's like a hamster in a cage with toys to play with . (treadmills. race tracks. dummy robots. Ak-47s.) He's allowed to freely roam HQ from hours 6am-10pm, and if not, he is usually escorted by a guard, unless its Rouge sneaking him out. But beyond that, it's not like the ultimate lifeform needs that much sleep, and it'd be bad to have their ultimate weapon roaming the halls without supervision. but let's say there's the occasional nocturnal scavenger providing him a bit of nightly mischief that even the most complicated most difficult to navigate ventilation system cannot keep a natural-born burrower out..... (haha)
SONICÂ - ACCOMPLICE
Robotnikâs âaccompliceâ (adoptive son?)
Sonic goes along with Robotnikâs schemes but has his own ulterior motives .. after all, working under someone is still infringing on his sense of freedom, independence, and pride.
He only rlly helps out Robotnik out if it helps him⊠robotnik makes some new tech that tickles his , esp if smth that happens to enhance his existing abilities. sure heâs more than capable of doing things on his own but whatâs better than to play with his new toys with his already existing toys (GUN. shadow.)
and if he manages to break them in a day then heâs found an issue that robotnik needs to troubleshoot immediately. eggman should really be Thanking him!
his only known goal atm is to find things that stave off his boredom. from what Shadow's gathered at least. but maybe there's more...
has a very bad No Good Fixation on shadow's inhibitor rings for whatever reason. wonder that could mean.
Still fucking around with roles and nothing's rlly set in stone. Im just kind of giggling kicking rocks and throwing pebbles in the water to see what lands ^q^
Rouge is still there! A contractor for G.U.N. A Recovering/reformed Jewel thief who joins the task force (maybe?)Â
the gang is also there! still brainstorming roles though. emrmmm

Could I request Simon to be relaxing with his female s/o please?
AN: ofc you can!!! We love gentle relaxed Simon <3 (it's kinda short but hopefully it's what you wanted!)
Simon Riley x F!chubby!reader
Tw/Cw: some minor mentions of war and depression, mentions of parenting, slight reference to sex but nothing graphic <3
Simon has always been a stressed man. A pressured man. His childhood. His job. It was one thing after the other, shitty situations with barely any good to catch his breath.
A sinking black pit of oil that was always on the cusp of drowning him. Swallowing up his cries for help, it wasn't like anyone was there to help him.
Until...you?
He never thought he deserved someone like you. Oh perfect and delicate you. The complete opposite of everything he's known in his 34 years old life.
If he had to describe you with one word, it'd be soft. Soft. It's the word to encompass all of you, every single part of you. To your thick hips and squeezable fat, round eyes and plump lips. Dulcet voice and steady hands.
And oh how he begged to go home.
-
His weary feet finally crossed the threshold of your shared home. The smell of food filled his nose, thick and warm, saliva filling his mouth.
"Baby?" You squeak, rushing out of the kitchen and lighting up like a light bulb. Your hands squeezed into fists, fighting the urge to touch him. You knew how difficult it was to become Simon after being Ghost for so long. "Si? Baby?"
His board shoulders drop, stepping heavily through the hallway. He was trailing dirt into the carpet but he could vacuum it up later, he just needed his sweetheart.
You tug him down to your level, burying your face into his neck as his shaky hands come up to grasp at your thick waist. Melting into you, surrounded by your warmth.
"It's me...It's Simon. Your Simon." He could feel your sigh of relief, kissing his temple. Your lip gloss sticky against his skin. "Dinner smells good."
"I made some Yorkshire pudding-" He cuts you off with a long slow kiss, breathing heavily against you. Eyes heavy and closed, palms kneading into you.
"such a good cook." he mumbles against your lips. "Soaps been dying to try your food, I swear it gets on my nerves sometimes." He deepens it, cradling your plump rosy cheeks in his hands, feeling you smile.
"M'glad...You should probably take a shower. Change."
He grumbles when you pull away. A slight smirk tugging at his lips when you peck a kiss against his nose. "Shower with me?"
"Pervert."
"That I am."
-
He sighs, leading back into your hands. Working out the muscles in his back. "Feels s'good."
"God You're tight back here." You look up at his smirk and groan. "Shut your mouth Riley. Don't even say it."
"Wasn't gonna say anything." He murmurs, snickering under his breath. "Just a lot of things are tight when it comes to both our bodies."
You huff, smacking the back of his head. Earning a hardy belly laugh, a full toothy smile slathered on his face. Eyes shining and mischievous, he looks younger when he's laughing. More at peace. Less of that brooding vicious soldier that has more blood on his hands than the average man.
But he would never show you that. Never. You didn't deserve to know that side of him. He turns to you, feeling your fingers scrub into his blonde messy hair. Sudsing up his scalp. "I cant stand you." Your voice is playful, feeling his hands cup your ass.
"Then sit." He smiles again, a groan leaving your mouth as you press it against his again.
"Save the dad jokes for when you're a dad please." You murmur, wrapping your arms loosely around his neck.
"You'd be a good mama." He mumbles, pressing a firm kiss to your forehead.
"I know, I'm just so amazing."
"You are."

Hi hi, wonderful!!! How are you on this fine *insert appropriate time of day here*? Could I maybe request dad Bakugou and how he'd react to his son saying something mean to female reader wife? Like, I know Bakugou is really aggressive with his own mom, but I was thinking maybe it'd be a little different when it comes to the mother of his kids?

For a majority of your life, you thought becoming a pro hero would be the hardest thing you could ever do. From attending the illustrious U.A. High to working through the ranks to be in the top three pro heroes, second to none other than your husband, Bakugou, you never would imagine your life to be more difficult than that.
That is until you became a mother.
Only a year into your marriage, you found out you were pregnant with your son, Katsuo. It was difficult to come to terms with being a mother in the midst of your rising professional career but you knew taking care of your son was always going to be your number one priority, just as it was for Bakugou.
Despite the physical complexities of giving birth and being pregnant, the hardest part came afterwards: raising your extremely temperamental son.
Katsuo, ever since the day he was born, was never one to shy away from vocalizing if anything bothered him or made him upset. To screaming and crying on the top of his lungs as a baby to whining and throwing tantrums as a toddler in public, you felt yourself struggling to parent your son who made it his lifeâs mission to give you a hard time.
Who did Katsuo not give a hard time to? Bakugou.
Times where Katsuo would throw a tantrum, screaming and kicking his feet as he laid on the floor, all it would take was a âStop thatâ from Bakugou to get Katsuo to cease his actions whereas it would take the whole day for him to listen to you. It was a frustrating ordeal but it never made you love your son any less. You knew this was a phase⊠at least you hoped this would just be a phase.Â
Just as you thought there was a lull in his behavior after he turned five, you became pregnant and gave birth to your daughter Suki. To say Katsuo was not thrilled was an understatement. He hated the attention that went to Suki instead of him. He hated that his parents had to take care of his baby sister that he didnât want and he never hesitated to vocalize how much he didnât want a sister.
âCan we get ice cream, too?â Katsuo asked excitedly, kicking his feet while sitting in the shopping cart that you were pushing. His little index finger pointed at the box of fudge popsicles.
âWill you share with your sister?â You asked, eyeing your son for his reaction.
As expected he was not pleased as he crossed his arms over his chest and huffed. âFine. Whatever," he muttered curtly.
You smiled, grabbing the box from the freezer and putting it in your cart, knowing full well that his brief reaction would be the closest thing to a compromise that you'll get out of him.
As you were pushing the cart into the checkout line, your phone buzzed in your pocket. You answered your husbandâs call, holding your phone in between your shoulder and your ear as you scanned the items in your car. âEverything okay, Katsuki?â
You could hear your now two-year-old daughter wailing in the background, repeating the word âNanaâ as a very frustrated Bakugou expressed, âPlease tell me you know where Sukiâs fucking banana toy is.â
âHer toy should be on the sofa in the living room like it always is.â You adjusted your phone into your hand as you began to pay for your groceries.
âItâs not there and Iâm about to lose my fucking mind.âÂ
âHoney, Iâm not sure where else it could be. Suki always keeps it there so she doesnât lose it.âÂ
As you grabbed the receipt from the little printer, you saw Katsuo giggling to himself from the corner of your eye as he was listening to your conversation. âKatsuo, what did you do?â
âDid that little shit fucking hide it?â Bakugou asked angrily through your phone.
âKatsuki, Iâm almost done here. Iâll be home soon.â You sighed as Katsuo continued to laugh, his hands covering his mouth as if this were the funniest thing that couldâve happened for him.Â
âKatsuo, did you hide your sisterâs toy?â You asked sternly, pushing the cart towards the exit. Katsuo simply shrugged, ignoring your question.
All you could was sigh as you loaded your car up and drove you and your son home.
You stood in front of the door to your home and before you could knock, it swung open, revealing an exhausted Bakugou holding Suki who was still crying.
âStill no luck?â You asked as Katsuo ran inside, almost knocking you and the bags of groceries in your hands over.
âNo,â Bakugou said with an exasperated sigh as he closed the door.Â
âNana,â Suki cried softly.
You set the groceries on the dining table before rushing over and taking Suki from Bakugou. âI know, sweetie. Weâre going to find Nana for you, okay?â
She rested her head on your shoulder, tiring herself from wailing earlier as she rubbed her eyes. You turned to Bakugou who looked like he needed a nap immediately.
You caressed his face. âMy poor babies,â you cooed as you teased him.
He glared at you before taking Suki back in his arms. âYou better get Suo to confess where that banana is.â
âMe? Where are you going?â You questioned, watching as Bakugou took Suki upstairs.Â
âSleep,â He said plainly. âExhausted.â
You sighed, going back to the dining table to put the groceries away. âSuo?âÂ
Katsuo stuck his head from under the table, two of his toy cars in hand.
You sighed. âKatsuo, Iâve told you many times not to go under the table.â
He crawled out and stood to his feet. His vermillion eyes, identical to his fatherâs, watched as you went back and forth from the table to the refrigerator. âWhy?â
âBecause you could hit your head. And we have rules and you have to listen to them.â
âDoes Suki have to listen to them?â He uttered his sisterâs name with as much disgust as his seven-year-old body could muster.Â
âSuki is still a baby. Sheâs two, Suo, and she can barely speak.â
âWell I used to be your baby, too, before she came,â Katsuo grumbled under his breath, fidgeting with his toys.
You smiled at him, understanding the feeling of being jealous of your sibling getting all the attention. You crouched in front of him and ruffled his ash blonde hair. âYouâll always be my baby.â
Katsuo nudged your hand away, turning away from you. âWhatever. You donât mean that.â
You stood to your feet. âKatsuo.â
Katsuo spun around quickly, dropping his toys to the ground as he raised an accusatory finger at you. âYou always say Iâm your baby but itâs not true! You care about that stupid baby more than me!â
He turned around again as he started to sprint and make his way upstairs. You went after him as you exclaimed, âThatâs not true, Suo!â
Katsuo turned once more in the middle of the staircase, his brows furrowed and his lips overturned into a frown. âI said I didnât want a sibling and you still had that stupid girl! Youâre the worst Mom ever!âÂ
He continued running upstairs and into his bedroom, slamming the door loudly behind him.Â
Bakugou, who so desperately needed and wanted to take a nap, stood to his feet immediately following the sound of Katsuoâs door slam shut. Fortunately Suki hadnât awoken, allowing him to leave and somehow patch this situation up.Â
Katsuo did this often, yelling at his mother and storming off into his room. However, he never insulted you in the way he did that day, and Bakugou knew you were going to take his words to heart.
Bakugou quietly made his way downstairs, peeking around the corner of the railing to spot where you were. You were sitting at the dining table, your back to him. He immediately noticed your shoulders shaking as you sniffled and wiped your eyes profusely.
âY/NâŠâ You spun your head at the sound of your husbandâs unusually soft voice.Â
âKatsukiâŠâ You wiped your eyes to get rid of any stray tears, not wanting to worry him. You attempted to muster a small smile, ultimately failing to do so. âWhatâre you doing awake?â
He sat down in the chair beside you. He stared at you, taking in your features as he raised his thumb and swiped under your eyes to catch your tears. âDonât cry.â
Your lips quivered and the tears you were attempting to hold back spilled out. âI feel stupid for crying but-but his words hurt, Katsuki.â
Bakugou leaned towards you, his arms maneuvering you onto his lap. He held you close to him as you wrapped your arms around his neck, burying your face into the crook of his neck. âYouâre not stupid for crying. He said some fucked up shit, and he shouldnât have.â
He pulled away, brushing your hair away from your face with his hands as he kissed you softly. âYouâre not a bad mom, Y/N.â
You let out a humorless laugh, wiping your eyes again. âI know. I just⊠donât know how to validate his feelings.â
âDonât worry.â Bakugou moved you back onto the chair as he stood to his feet. âIâll talk to him.â
âKatsuki.â You reached for his hand, looking up at him. âJust donât yell at him, alright?â
âI know. I was seven once, too, yâknow?â And like that Bakugou made his way back upstairs, his footsteps echoing through the hall. He made it to Katsuoâs door and knocked.
âGo away!â Katsuo yelled from the other side.
âI donât care what you want, Iâm coming in,â Bakugou stated and opened the door.Â
He was met with a soft pillow to the face as an enraged Katsuo yelled, âI said go away!â
âKatsuo!â Bakugou exclaimed. Katsuo immediately stiffened, his expression twisting into fear from his fatherâs tone. Bakugou closed his eyes and sighed, calming himself down before speaking to his son. He didnât want to go about this the wrong way.
Bakugou picked up the pillow as he sat on Katsuoâs bed beside him, placing the discarded item back onto the bed. âWhy did you yell at Mom?â
Katsuo crossed his arms over his chest. ââCause she wasnât being fair.â
âSo she deserves to get called a âbad momâ because of that?â
âNoâŠâ Katsuo mumbled after pausing for a moment.Â
Bakugou sighed, lifting Katsuo and repositioning him on the bed so that he was facing him. Katsuo kept his eyes glued down, not wanting to make eye contact with his incredibly intimidating father. âSuo, look at me.â
Katsuo hesitated but nevertheless he looked at his father. âWhy did you call Mom a âbad mom?ââ
Katsuo fidgeted with his thumbs before upsettingly blurting out, âBecause sheâs always caring about Suki more than she cares about me!â
âAnd did Mom say she doesnât care about you?â
âNoâŠâÂ
âKatsuo,â Bakugou paused to make sure his son was looking at him. âDo you know how much your mother loves you?â
Katsuo simply shrugged. Bakugou shook his head slightly, reaching behind in his back pocket to grab his phone. He opened his photo album, one with just you that contained hundreds of photos in fact. He showed a picture where you were very pregnant with Katsuo, your hands cradling your swollen belly as you grinned at Bakugouâs camera.
âHereâs Mom carrying you in her belly before you were born.â
Katsuoâs eyes widened at the sight of your stomach, looking up at his father. âI was in there?!â
Bakugou nodded, this time swiping to a video of you holding a newborn Katsuo, tears streaming down your face as you looked down at your son. Your sobs were audible, looking over at Bakugou who was recording you. âKatsuki!â
Bakugouâs laughter was heard on the other side of the video and Katsuo watched as you looked back at his baby self in the video. âMy baby,â you murmured, kissing his cheek and pressing your forehead against his little one.
âI was her baby,â Katsuo whispered astonishingly. âI thought Mom was lying when she said that.â
âKatsuo, youâll always be our first baby. Youâre our first born. But now Suki needs Momâs attention, too. Did you see how little you were in that video?â Katsuo nodded. âWell, Suki needs Momâs help to grow big and strong like you. But sheâs lucky cause she has a big brother to help her, right?â
âI guess,â Katsuo huffed. âIâll start being nice to herâŠâ
âGood,â Bakugou patted him on the back. âNow go apologize to Mom. You didnât mean what you said, right?â
Katsuo shook his head aggressively. He jumped off his bed and stood to his feet. âIâll go say sorry.â
Before leaving, he crawled under his bed to retrieve something. When he crawled back out, in his hands was Sukiâs missing banana toy that Bakugou had been tearing the whole house apart to find. Katsuo handed the toy to his father, threw open the door, and rushed downstairs until he stood in front of the dining table. His chest rose and fell quietly as he caught his breath from moving so fast. You turned around, not expecting his presence so suddenly. âSuo!â
Katsuo frowned at the sight of your slightly puffy eyes, understanding that you had been crying. And it was his fault that you were crying. He looked down at his feet. âIâm sorry, Mom. I shouldnât have called you a âbad mom.ââ
You smiled softly, looking at your son lovingly. âItâs okay.â
He shook his head. âItâs not okay. I shouldnât say things I donât mean. I just⊠I was jealous of how youâre always with Suki. But I know that she has to be big and strong like me.â
Your smile widened as you reached out and caressed his cheek. âItâs okay, baby. I forgive you.â
Katsuo perked up. âSo am I really still your baby? Even if Iâm not little like Suki?â
âOf course.â You pulled him into your embrace, his little arms attempting to wrap around you as he hugged you back. âI already said youâll always be my baby and I mean it.â
You pulled away, kissing his cheek which caused Katsuo to break out into an even wider smile as he threw his arms around you into another embrace.
You laughed, hugging him once more, holding him onto your lap. You looked up, noticing a smiling Bakugou holding an asleep Suki in his arms. He sent a wink your way as you smiled gratefully at him.

Moonlight Waves
Yan Alien Human Guy Person + Jellyfish Hybrid ReaderÂ
Word Count: 1.5k
Warnings: None, pure fluff
âIf you put some thought into itâŠThe ocean and space have a lot in common.âÂ
Vast, boundless frontiers- Depths and reach never to be fully unveiled to the eyes of man. All imposing surfaces blanketing both heaven and earth. Two opposing bodies that on nights just like this might align, conjoined by midnight and the luminous orb mirrored upon them both. The full moon was a blessed companion for those who found themselves alone on eves similar to this- Solace and guidance found in her radiance.Â
âWhelp- Guess it's time to throw myself.â
Wiser folk have said desperate times call for desperate measures- While there were lesser extremes he could have gone to, this seemed like the quickest solution to their predicament. Twenty-four years on this planet and they had still yet to conquer the strenuous feat that was learning how to swim. His mothers were gentle in their upbringing- Apparently too gentle as they never pressured their child into braving the horrors of the swimming pool. On one hand, the biggest factor to their child's fear may have been the fact that it was their neighborâs pool - and it'd be quite difficult to explain the eerie glow to their toddler's tears and the stains they left on clothing.Â
They were fine with it early on, but as he grew - Alien realized how much he was missing out on being unable to swim. Most humans know how to swim by their age anyway which would give less credit to his claims of an earth born and raised member of the populationâŠ.Which they were regardless of whether or not they knew how to swim.
Alien squares his shoulders, testing the binds of numerous weights anchoring various parts of their body. Unsatisfied with the distribution, he plucks a stone from the moist sand surrounding his legs - unfastening the velcro of their right breast pocket and adding it to the collection. A horde of trinkets ranging from shells to stones to a couple marbles crowded each pocket from the vest they wore down to the swimming trunks they purchased for the occasion. So what if his body was more buoyant than the average human being- requiring additional weight to avoid floating off into the endless sea. Alien had always been a scrawny person-
âThat should be enough- WaitâŠIs that?âÂ
Srounging for more space to stuff the final stone, a gentle glow envelopes their fingertips following a faint- snap! Alien pushes the rocks and shells aside, wrestling the shining band from beneath them with minimal effort.Â
*Jackpot! I thought I used all of these already. With this baby on, I'm definitely ready for this. Wish me luck up here!â
Alien gazes up at the moon as they slip the glow-stick bracelet onto their arm. It's the last thing they see as their legs carry the rest of them towards the end of the cliff. Had it not been a full moon or the sky so clear- tonight may have gone different for them. They could've swallowed their pride, and went to bed with intentions to sign up for the nearest swim class come morning. Realistically, Alien knew he'd never go through with that plan, but it was nice in theory. Safer too-
Head lost in the cloudless sky, Alien yelps as the ground is swept from beneath them - their screams swiftly snuffed by gallons of water as they're dragged into a plummet off the cliff's edge. Their body connects with the sea, pockets of air bubbling to the surface from the force at which they collide. The oxygen escaping him would have been alarming - had they any need for it. Whether they could hold their breath or their biology simply skipped the stage where their lungs depended on air was a secret they'd take to the grave.Â
Sinking fast, Alien realizes what some might call a flaw in their ingenious plan.Â
Perhaps, just maybe, they potentially added too much weight for them to claw their way back to the surface.
âŠ
Ah well.Â
Since they're already down here, there's no harm in exploring. Hard to see much beyond the gleam of their jewelry dangling freely around their wrist, but they dig the vibe of it all - drifting weightlessly without aim or reason. The deeper they dove, the brighter the natural fluorescence of their skeleton bled through their skin. Alien had heard of a condition that made people's skin slightly yellow before. Surely the green glow of their bones had to be in the same family. The shine widens their range of sight. By now, it was hard to decipher which way they were facing. The moon had long since faded from viewâŠ.
Oh, wait. There it is..
âŠ.
Is it?
Stranging their eyes through the blackened depths of the ocean, Alien can clearly make something out miles away from them - shrouded by a halo of light. It almost mimics their guideless descent - floating off course before gradually aligning itself in a mostly linear ascent towards them. That alone was enough evidence whatever they were looking at was not the moon. The fluctuation of its surface and the four, almost crescent shaped markings atop only served as further proof. Inch by inch, as the space between them grew narrow, Alien could make out more of its features. Flowing tendrils, a pair of arms floating freely at its sides, a face adorned with a dopey smile.Â
Face to face, the near angelic like figure raises one of its hands - waving its fingers at the unfamiliar face within its territory. Alienâs eyes tighten from the phosphorescence of the creature's skin. Ignoring the sting, Alien lifts his own hand, mirroring the entityâs motions. The corners of its smile peak higher upon its face, head following the dim glow of their bracelet. The lightly draws focus to the stones bulging from his pockets. The creature's grin falters into tight lipped confusion.
âHeyâŠHey!âÂ
Alien struggles to make a sound as its hands paw at the straps of their pockets. Successfully tearing the sleeve open, the creature yanks out every rock, every shell- It pauses briefly to marvel at the eye of the marbles in Alien's pocket before shoving them beneath the cap of their head as they continue. Depleting their vest of its contents was all it took to send Alien on their upwards rise towards the surface. The angel waves again before swimming its way to the top, gliding gracefully as a true angel would through the sky. It grabs onto Alien's wrist, tugging him along with them as he apparently took too long for their liking.
Alien could only watch on in awe as the darkness peeled away - moonlight adding on to the ethereal, otherworldly glimmer that was this being and its flesh. Could this be Alien's first encounter with an extraterrestrial? There was no possible way a creature of this radiance was from earth. They just couldn't be-
The creature releases their hold on Alien's wrist as they breach air. Alien finds himself searching for their touch, and another item he appeared to be missing. The angel, the only term Alien found fit for them, wandered towards the shore without him- back facing the sand as they spun a glowing band around their finger. Alien channels the knowledge of every training video they viewed before their trip as they doggy paddle in the general direction of the shore. Thankfully, there was still enough weight in their shorts to keep them perfectly balanced between drifting off and going under.Â
The energy is depleted from their very soul by the time they reach their destination. The angel sits with its lower half still bathed by the oncoming tide, rolling a marble through the crystalized sand. It throws its arm into the air as Alien appears.
The angel waves. Alien, running on fumes and the strange heartache that would come from not reciprocating their kind gesture- waves back.
The angel helps Alien sit upright, returning the marbles they had borrowed back into the land dwellerâs pocket from which they can. Alien fishes out of the marble they saw the angel toy with and gives it back to them.
âKeep that one⊠So- you got a name?âÂ
The angelâs mouth falls open in a âOâ of both surprise and honor at the present. They brush the sand smooth before rolling the marble through it once more. Inspecting their craft, Alien can make out letters the further along the angel continues.
âY/n? That's your name?â
You clap your hands in praise, sound and ferocity increased by the wetness of your palms. Cute.Â
âYou, uh, come here often?â
The point of your finger towards the water states the obvious fact that you live here. A murmur akin to laughter slips past your lips at that one.Â
âYou got me there⊠The seaâs pretty big, though. What I'm asking is can I see you again?â
You tap a finger to your chin in thought, head dipping towards the bracelet now hanging from your own wrist. You point to it, hope and wonder present in your grin.Â
âYou like the bracelet? You can keep that too. I can bring you more if that's what you're asking.â
Clapping again, you latch onto Alien's side - merging your fingers with theirs as you hold them both to the sky. Moonlight pours through your skin and theirs, transparency muddled by the existence of their bones. Your head falls to their chest- a whisper so quiet they almost missed it.Â
âLike meâŠâÂ
They're glad that they didn't.Â

Reasons to Like You
â Pairing: Loki x Reader â Synopsis: Loki isn't the most laid back person, he is hard on others but mostly on himself... That is, until someone even worse than he is catches his little heart. â Word Count: 3,313... sorry it's a bit short, huh? â Notes: Another request for the lovely @blehblahsworld. Loki is shy ler, mutual pining idiots. I promised it'd be posted today and there's still like 30 minutes left of the day so I honoured my promise. â Warnings: None, I think. Loki is a mess cuz he can't handle having a crush.
Oh, the comfort of a life on Earth. Not something any Asgardian would have expected when they arrived after all they had been through. Much less⊠this Asgardian.
Loki expected anything but bliss when he came to live among the Avengers. When he woke up living in the house of his enemies, he was rightfully on edge. Although Thor quickly wrapped his arms around him and filled him in. He had been saved after 5 years of becoming dust during the snap of the 5 infinity stones, which ironically spared his life.
But after his physical recovery and adaptation period with living in the compound⊠And there was a little someone who made the whole process much easier. A special little someone.
You were⊠Norns, where could he start? You were⊠a lot. In the best and worst sense of the word.
On one hand, you were messy, energetic, loud⊠just a smaller and slightly less annoying version of his brother. In fact, you two were great friends, much to Lokiâs dismay. Loud nights of karaoke and dancing in the leisure room, begging for Tony to organize parties that would give Loki a headache. You constantly interrupted Lokiâs reading to come chat or beg him to play together to some nonsense game or watch a movie. The amount of times youâd invade his personal space with hugs, pokes, grabbing his arm to take him somewhere⊠it was all unnerving.
On the other hand, and even worse than all he mentioned, Loki couldnât get you out of his head. Your loudness, your playfulness, that smile of yours, your goofy laugh so out of place when you got nervous, the way he wanted to run his hands along your body⊠ah! It was too much!
And it wasnât that Loki hadnât been interested on others before. He had had more lovers than the average human lifespan. So why were you so difficult to handle? What was so special about you that heâd be turning in his bed late at night thinking about you? He couldnât quite put it into words.
âLoki? Brother?â a voice snapped him out of his thoughts, along with a gentle knock on the door. âItâs late, are you not having breakfast with us?â
Loki stood up and opened the door to join his brother in the hall.
âI apologize brother, I must have lost track of time.â Loki shrugged it off as he ran his hands through his hair to fix it.
âNo kidding,â Thor chuckled. âLook at you, when was the last time you slept?â
âOh, like you would be one to judge meâ Loki scoffed. âWhen did you all go to bed last night?â
âNot as early as you, old witchâ Thor laughed. âItâs a shame you didnât stay longer, our little friend was really upset you didnât dance together.â
Loki had to fight an ear-to-ear grin. You had been looking for him? To dance⊠together? The way you all dance in Midgard these days? Oh gods, the one night his patience had run thin and made him excuse himself to go to bed.
It was still engrained in his brain.
You had jumped onto a coffee table, shaking your hips to the beat of the music, your body moving in perfect sync to the melody. And to be perfectly fair, it wasnât anything outrageous to Earthâs standards, you were mostly goofing around and more often than not youâd double over laughing, flustered at your own antics. Unfortunately for his heart, Loki wasnât from Earth, and he was not at all accustomed to those sights that kept him awake all night.
âI apologize for my unfortunate coordination with the mortalâs plansâ Loki responded simply, despite mentally cursing himself.
Thor chuckled.
âIâm sure it will all be forgiven by the end of the weekâ he assured Loki. âYou may get another chance to dance together.â
âWhat? Again? Donât mortals tire out faster than us?â Loki asked. âHow is it that thereâs always some new event approaching?â
âIt sure is lively around here, isnât it?â Thor laughed. âStark said it was a last-minute invitation, but Rogers mentioned itâd be important for us to assist, improving the opinion of the locals. Which you could still benefit fromâŠâ
âI supposeâ Loki muttered. âStill⊠I hope itâs the last one in a while, it can get frustrating having to put up a perfection facadeâŠâ
âYou are being dramatic brother.â Thor laughed.
âAm I?â Loki asked sarcastically. âDoes it really not remind you the the banquets at the palace, always having to make political relationships byâŠâ
âOh brother, you are being dramatic. You really shouldnât overthink all you do, if you think like that of course you wonât enjoy these silly Midgardian parties, for me, it reminds me of that tavern we used to go when we were younger. A chance to dance and perhaps flirt around every night with some nice ale and good friends.â
âFlirt around?â Loki chuckled at the Midgardian expression. âDonât let Lady Jane hear you, brother. I thought you imprudent, but never to such an extent.â
âOh, no, no.â Thor shook his head. âThose days are behind me, I am quite content in my relationship. I meant for you, brother.â
âWhy would I want to flirt around?â Loki raised an eyebrow.
âWell, it is true you already have your interest captured by a localâŠâ
âI have no clue what youâre blabbering on about, brotherâ Loki assured him. âAnd for your information, I am perfectly content the way my life is right now.â
Thor burst out laughing.
âThat is splendid news brotherâ he chuckled, wiping a tear of mirth. âBut Iâve been by your side since you were a small baby, I know when youâre interesting in someone.â
âYouâve never seen me interested in anyoneâ Loki retorted.
âSure I have.â Thor chuckle. âBeyond the romances that lasted a single night, letâs see⊠You saw Angrboda for a while but it ended in nothing, you had a crush on Sygin for while but she was with Theoric which you tried impersonating but guilt ate you up, I recall you and Sif saw each other secretly whenâŠâ
âAlright, I got it!â Loki cut him off, not exactly eager to hear all his past romantic miseries all over again. âYou are aware of my past, understood.â
Loki was a bit surprised, though. He always thought he was being discrete. Unlike Thor, who would shamelessly (and rather loudly) flirt in the tavern or at royal parties with whoever he wanted; Loki had an infinitely more subtle approach. Loki would strike conversations with his interest, in a much more subtle seduction. Loki was more the type to swoon with his wit and the perfect praise, taking advantage of being the less favored prince in terms of affection to escape into the night to seal the deal. He was so sure no one noticed his absence, much less Thor, who Loki thought too busy being the center of attention to care if Loki left the party early. Especially Sif, which was a whole new ordeal he didnât even want to talk about.
He was a bit moved, really⊠in a very weird way, but it was moving.
âSee? I know who you have a crush onâ Thor chuckled. âYou should really go for it.â
âCan you stop talking like a Midgardian?â Loki groaned. âItâs unnerving.â
âSorry brother, itâs entertaining to see how much it frustrates you.â Thor grinned like a cheeky brat. âBut I mean it, you wonât know if your feelings are reciprocated if you donât ask.â
âAlright, alright.â Loki scoffed out a laugh. âCanât believe Iâm taking advice from you imbecile.â
âI would be offended, but I know the satisfaction of seeing you frustrated over being the idiotic one is more than enough.â Thor smiled and turned around.
âWerenât you gonna have breakfast?â Loki asked.
âI already didâ Thor smiled. âBut I know of someone who will be happy to have some company during breakfast.â
Loki felt his heartbeat accelerating as he turned around the corner and saw you, finishing a sandwich and grabbing a mug of coffee. Your hair was messy, the pajamas you were wearing were a couple of sizes bigger than your frame and your eyes were half closed.
It was adorable.
âGood morningâ Loki bowed his head politely.
âMoââ you were cut off by a huge yawn. âMorning, Loki. Slept well? You left the party earlier last night.â
âIâm terribly sorryâ Loki apologized timidly. âI didnât feel well.â
âItâs okayâŠâ you smiled at him and took a sip of your coffee, and Loki felt the energy from the coffee. âIt wasnât as fun once you left.â
Lokiâs breath hitched and smiled nervously at you. He looked around, unsure if he was allowed to look at you more than a few glances every so often. But he caught the sight of you making a sandwich.
âIâm gonna eat breakfast on the loungeroom, wanna join me?â you offered with two more slices at bread for him.
âA-Ah, sureâŠâ Loki nodded.
You made him a sandwich and served him a mug of coffee. Loki smiled at you and bowed his head gently at you in a thank you.
Both of you walked to eat by the TV. You handed him the remote control for him to choose. He gulped and looked at the screen, he swore his hand was shaking like a Chihuahua. He had no idea how to use modern technology⊠or well⊠not day to day technology.
Spaceships? Sure. Hacking the security of a overly complex computers? Piece of cake. But using his own cellphone or browsing the internet and a smart TV? Oh, honeyâŠ
And then he heard you giggle.
âWhat?â Loki asked, unable to fight a nervous smile.
âOh nothingâ you giggled. âNothingâŠâ
âNo, what? Tell meâŠâ he chuckled and scooted closer to you.
âN-No, nothingâŠ!â you giggled nervously.
Now, smitten or not, mockery was something he would never tolerate unpunished⊠not fully anyway.
âOh, youâll regret thatâ he growled and before you could ask, straddled you, wiggling his fingers at you.
âE-Eh?â the way you smiled was tense, but also skeptic, like you didnât believe what was clearly about to happen.
Before you asked, his fingers shot to your sides, poking and prodding the sensitive skin, immediately making you squeal.
âLohohohoki! Whahahat are you doing?!â you protested.
âYou asked for it, you menace.â Loki chuckled, drilling his index fingers to your sides, still careful enough to avoid hurting you.
âLohohohohoki! Iâm sorry!â you whined, sounding more lost than actually apologetic.
Loki made his distaste for your actions clear by tickling you mercilessly. But it was clear you werenât sure what you were apologizing for, and it still sounded honest.
Seriously, it should be considered foul play being endearing like that.
âI canât go around letting cheeky mortals like you think they can disrespect the God of Mischief without consequence.â Loki spoke in a low, teasing tone.
He let it slide the fact that anyone else wouldâve ended with a dagger on their gut or at least an insult so vile that would have made them storm out of the room. But itâs not like Loki was going to notify you over the little soft spot he had for you⊠although, to balance things out, it was easier for you to provoke him into this sort of silly âpunishmentsâ.
âWhahahahahat did Ihihi dohohohohoho?!â you complained, your hands latching to his wrists in a weak attempt to push him away.
âI saw you laughing at me, so by simply logic, I had to give you something to really laugh about.â He growled maliciously as his fingers continued their malicious dance along your skin.
Loki was skilled with his hands and fingers, double entendere aside. Being a sorcerer required precision of mind and hand movement, given a wrong angle could make a vanishing spell burn your eyebrows instead. As a proper prince, he was skilled with the quill and had a neat and elegant handwriting as well as an at least decent skill with the flute, the lute and the piano. Which Loki loved to clarify that by âproper princeâ, he actually meant ânot Thorâ whose handwriting was a illegible and could only play percussions like a toddler⊠But he was a stronger fighter, Loki could give him that.
But it also meant he was a deadly tickler. Being perceptive and cunning like a good trickster didnât really help your cause either.
He raised upwards, giving you a sort of break, reducing the intensity of the tickling. But his hand soon lowered ceremoniously back to make deadly contact with your skin again. This time gently wiggling behind your earshell.
âEEK! W-What are you doing?â your shoulders shut up, before your hands reached to cover your ears with your hands.
âMmm, it was just a little test.â Loki hummed. âAnd I must say, Iâm more than pleased with the result.â
Loki chuckled and his hands went to your sides, squeezing and kneading your ribs like dough.
âAIEE!â you squeaked and your arms went down to protect your sides. âLoki!â
Loki smiled menacingly and decided a new course of action.
He tickled your sides for a couple of seconds, before going back to tickle your ears so youâd raise your arms to protect them, just to go back to your sides after a bit.
âHahahahahaha! L-Loki! P-Please! Hahahahahahaha! S-Stop it! Hehehehe! Hahahahaha!â
The pokes and tickly caresses went all over your skin, making you squeal and screech. But there was nothing you could do against someone stronger than you.
âLohohohoki!â your hips wiggled from side to side in a helpless giggle fit.
But just when you thought it couldnât get worseâŠ
âEEEEEEEK!â you screeched when you felt Lokiâs hands sneaking under your armpits, it was so loud and high pitched that Loki was startled.
âOh, my my myâŠâ he grinned mischievously. âWhat was that?â
âN-No⊠Loki! L-LokiâŠ!â you pleased your hands before you, trying to protect yourself. âLoki! LOKI! LOHOHOHOHOHOHOKI!â
You didnât have to be a detective to figure out that Loki, being the cheekiest of souls, would take advantage of this new tickle spot.
âNOHOHOHOHOHO! NO LOHOHOHOHOKI! PLEHEHEHEASE! HAHAHAHAHA! NAHAHAHA!â you squealed and squirmed like a fish out of water. âLOKI! LOHOHOHOKI! PLEAHAHAHAHASE!â
His fingers traced along your armpits, he was excited like a little kid finding the secret hiding place of the birthday presents. You were going crazy. He couldnât stop himself, gently caressing and scratching the sensitive skin on your underarms to make you squeal until your face was bright red and your eyes were glistening with tears of mirth.
âPLEASE! AHAHAHAHA! OW! PLEASE! HAHAHAHA!â you guffawed and kicked your legs around as if that somehow would ease up the tickly sensations. But your sides were burning from laughing and it wasnât pleasant. âOW! P-PLEASE! HEHEHEHE!â
âOh, alrightâŠâ he smiled softly and retreated his hands from you.
Your chest was heaving from laughter and giggles were hoarse and tired. You wiped the tears off your face placed your hand on your chest to feel your own accelerated heartbeat.
âHahahahaâŠ!â you giggled and panted, trying to control yourself from the aftermath of tickly giggles. âAlright⊠I had that coming⊠I- I guess. HeheheâŠâ
âOh gods, I adore youâŠâ Loki blurted out, freezing at the weight the honesty of his words carried.
Simply because that was him. He was a deceiver, a conniver, a scammer, a trickster. But now? Truth had poured out of his mouth like a waterfall, cold and refreshing⊠He loved you. He had been lying to himself for so long that once he said it out loud, to you no less, it felt good, more than good.
âWhat?â you asked.
âI love youâ he repeated.
But the look on your face made his stomach sink. You looked horrified.
ââŠwhy me?â you asked.
âWhat do you mean?â he asked, already feeling the crushing weight of rejection weighing him down.
âWhat do you think I mean?â you grumbled.
Of course you wouldnât like him. You were the sunshine incarnate, you were kind and friendly, you were smart enough to crush down any silly preconception of human life being dull and silly like it had been thin and cheap glass, to the point of him feeling like the fool. You had brought him down to his knees. You had a power of a goddess.
No way you would reciprocate his feelings.
âWhat could you see in meâŠ?â you smiled, but your eyes revealed distress. âI- Loki⊠look at me!â
Loki blinked at you, speechless. Which unknowingly giving you a window to keep talking.
âIâm everything that annoys you. I like going dancing, I like singing and being loud. I hate being around people but being alone stresses me out.â You huffed out. âLoki⊠IâmâŠâ
âPerfect.â Loki finished for you, breathless.
âA nuisance.â You corrected him. âLoki, youâll get tired of me by the end of the week.â
Loki felt angry, how could you speak so ill of yourself? You are a balm in chaotic world. And you hated every bit of yourself, every sweet and lovable inch of yourself. It was a self-hatred he knew very well. One type of felt hatred he lived with every day.
And he knew often there was only one way to help.
He pulled you against his chest and jabbed your sides.
âEEEEEK!â you screeched. âL-LOKI?! What are you doing?!â
âMm, just helping your thoughts shut upâŠâ Loki smiled cheekily as his fingers danced along your armpits once more.
âAIIIIEEEEE! LOKIHIHIHIHIHI!â you squealed.
âYes, my darling?â he purred.
âS-STOP IT!â you cried. âHAHAHAHAHA! NOHOHO! WHY?!â
âIâm merely providing a pleasant distracting you from those nasty thoughts of yoursâ he said in a faux innocent tone.
âPLEHEHEHEHASANT?!â you whined between your loud laughter.
Loki nodded but agreed that maybe it wasnât the nicest thing to do going for the spot that made you nearly burn out your lungs. So, being the angel he was, he moved down to tickle your belly giving you a break⊠sort of.
âLohohohoki! Hehehehe! Hahahahaha! Oh my gohohohod!â
Loki chuckled at your laugher, that, in his defense, came down an octave after moving to a less deadly spot. But your rich giggles kept pouring out like a waterfall, fresh and healing to him.
His finger gently tickled around your waist line, which made you squeak and giggle in a high pitch.
âEEK! Heeheeheehee! EEP! Heeheeheehee!â
âNornsâŠâ Loki complained quietly.
âLohohohohoki!â you giggled when his fingers pinched around your navel. âP-Plehehehease, n-no moreâŠ! Hahahaha!â
âOh, alrightâ he smiled lovingly at you.
As he saw you trying to catch your breath again, the loud drumming of his own heartbeat became overwhelming. Oh, how helpless he was⊠Yes, he had been the one tickling you silly. But, truthfully, he was the one at your mercy here.
âHehehehe⊠ohh⊠hic! Hehehehe! Hic! Hehehehe!â you giggled. âT-That w-was hmph!â
Loki could take it anymore, he had pressed his lips against yours, a bit panicked at first⊠Did he read the room wrong? Did you not like him like thaaaaatâŠ
Feeling you kiss back was⊠in a single word: mind-blowing. On one hand, it melted away all his fears, all the tension, all the mess he had been since his heart fell on his knees at your mercy⊠just undone⊠like the most powerful magic he could do. On the other hand, kissing you was like a dream, you were sweet, passionate, loving. Although heâd never admit it, he got a little flutter on his stomach thinking maybe⊠just maybe, you had liked him back all along.
âAh⊠heh⊠umâŠâ you looked at him nervously. âD-Do you think maybe⊠would you like to come to the party with me? You know⊠t-together⊠officiallyâŠâ
Loki smiled fondly and leaned in for another kiss.
âI would be honored, dear.â

OMG I need a Buck x reader with Bucky as a third wheel I think it'd be brilliant! Buck just wants a moment alone with his girl and Bucky keeps popping up
thank you for this request, honey! it made me laugh so much and it reminded me of that song "me, you and your friend steve" đ€Ł
I currently have like 6 requests in my inbox đ so please, be patient with me, especially that I'm also working on Feyd-Rautha multi-chapter lol
my inbox is open for blurb/short fic requests for major cleven đ€
You adored Bucky, really. He was funny but also kind and helpful. He loved to mess around and to make you laugh by making funny faces and teasy comments. You were glad that your boyfriend had a best friend like that and you enjoyed his company, too.
But everything has its limits.
Buckyâs company was more than welcome but sometimes you just wanted to be alone with Gale. Especially since there werenât many moments like that on the base where you could just sit somewhere alone in silence and make out or cuddle or talk about serious things.
Each time you luckily had a moment like this, Bucky would spoil it. He was like a dog sometimes, following you around and constantly requiring attention.
âYou should talk to him,â you whispered to Buck the other day when you were sitting with him behind one of the buildings. Hiding from the rest of the world but mostly hiding from Bucky. âI mean it, I adore this guy but I sometimes feel like I have two boyfriends. Or an annoying son,â you pouted.
âAnd how do you think I feel?â Gale chuckled and shook his head as he pulled you closer to his chest. âDo you think I enjoy him following us everywhere?â
âThen why canât you talk to him? It will be less rude if you do it, you know him for a long time,â you insisted. âAlso, I will just look like a jealous girlfriend. It has to be you.â
âItâs difficult, you see, I think Iâm the only person he has. The only person he cares for, I mean,â Buck explained. âHe rarely mentions his family, he doesnât have any girl waiting for him at home or anythingâŠâ
You pursed your lips. You felt bad for Bucky, you really did.
âI understand this but⊠I sometimes just want to kiss youâŠâ you teased and Buck leaned in to place his soft lips on yours.
âLike thisâŠ?â He smirked.
âLike this,â you nodded your head.
âHey, whatâs up?!â Buckyâs voice made you both jump in your seats as you looked up angrily at Bucky standing right above you, blocking the sunlight.
âJesus Christ!â Gale raised his voice. âWere you spying on us?â
âI donât have to. At this point I know all your secret places,â Bucky shrugged his arms and sat on the other side of you. You clenched your jaw, trying very hard not to say anything.
âHas it ever occurred to you that we go to those secret places because we want to be, well, ALONE?â Buck asked. âJust a thought,â he added sarcastically.
âBut we are alone here,â Bucky leaned back and smiled at the feeling of the sunlight on his face.
âExcuse me, we?â You asked.
âWell, you two, doing whatever youâre doing there, and me. Donât mind me at all,â Bucky mumbled with his eyes closed.
Suddenly, an idea popped into your head. If he said he didnât mind, your goal was to make him start minding.
You moved slightly to sit on Galeâs lap and face him. You tangled your hands in his hair and started to make out with him in the sloppiest and most passionate way you could think of, as if you tried to devour him whole. Buck was shocked at this sort of behaviour from you but he couldnât say no to you, not ever. He was kissing you back and pulled you closer.
Bucky opened one of his eyes and looked at you two, a little taken aback. But he still remained silent.
You got rid of your jacket in a haste and went back to tugging on your boyfriendâs hair as you moaned into his mouth.
Bucky moved uncomfortably but he still pretended not to see or hear anything.
You pushed Gale down and he landed on the grass with you on top of him, still attached to his lips. You placed his hands on your breasts and began to work on the buttons of your shirt.
âAaaaand I think itâs time for me,â Bucky stood up suddenly and you stopped all your movement to look up at him. He was blushing slightly but he still pretended not to be bothered at all. âI just remembered I have some papers to fillâŠâ he scratched the back of his head. âMajorâs duties, you know⊠See you later,â he waved at you and walked away as fast as possible.
You smiled triumphantly and looked down at Buck, visibly proud of yourself.
âJesus, woman, what was that?â He breathed out. âI didnât know you had it in you.â
âThereâs a lot you still donât know about me, Major Cleven,â you teased him.
Since then you started to do similar things every time Bucky was bothering you and Gale. And as much as Buck found it amusing, he also noticed a slight change in his friendâs behaviour. He became less cheerful around him and he made a few remarks about you to Buck.
âHey, will you help me with that?â Gale asked Bucky the other day as he struggled with filling one of the papers by the desk. âI donât know what they want me to write hereâŠâ
âYou can ask your girl to help you,â Bucky teased but in an unusually mean way.
âWhat is your problem, Bucky?â Gale looked up and furrowed his brows. âYouâre acting weird lately.â
âMe? Itâs you and her acting weird,â Bucky crossed his arms and leaned on the desk.
âWhat do you mean acting weird?â
âWhen weâre hanging out together, you two are dry humping each other. Like, gee, get a room!â Bucky rolled his eyes.
That was the moment when Buck just couldnât stand this anymore. The audacityâŠ
âFor Godâs sake, we are getting a room. We are alone. But then guess what, you are showing up out of nowhere and bothering us!â Gale raised his voice. âForgive me for wanting to kiss my girlfriend. Maybe find yourself one, too, and stop following us.â
He immediately regretted his harsh words but it was too late to take them back now. Bucky didnât say anything at first but he looked hurt.
âForgive me for wanting to spend time with my best friend,â Bucky said finally.
âI didnât mean toâŠâ Buck sighed. âIâm sorry, man, but⊠We really want to be alone sometimes, you know? I spend most of my time with you. Like here, now, canât you see? We have beds next to each other, we eat by the same table, we go on missions together. I donât get even half of the same amount of time with her.â
âItâs okay, justâŠâ Bucky sighed and smiled sadly, âshe could have just told me herself if she doesnât like me so muchâŠâ
âJesus, Bucky, itâs not about that!â Gale shook his head. âShe adores you. She thinks youâre fun and kind and she knows how our friendship is important to me,â he explained as Buckyâs eyes lightened up. âAnd she loves to spend time with the both of us. But sometimes, listen to me, just sometimes, she wants to be alone with me. And I want to be alone with her. Alone, do you understand? Alone means without you.â
âWhen am I supposed to know then, if you want me around or not?â Bucky whined.
âWell, I donât know, maybe by assuming that youâre not wanted around when you havenât been asked to join us?â Buck asked, ironically.
âAre you done with those papers or not?â Your voice interrupted them as you walked inside the room, visibly irritated. âYouâre slow as hell and Iâm done with Colonel yelling at me for the work going slow. I told him itâs not my fault my boyfriend is a knobhead when it comes to filing the paperwork.â
âA knobhead?â Buck pretended to be very offended. âWatch your mouth, miss.â
âIâm not in the mood, give me that,â you approached him and took the papers from him.
âHey, hey, heyâŠ!â Bucky suddenly raised his voice and you raised an eyebrow at him. âWhy are you interrupting our alone time? Are you following us around? Canât I just have a moment with my friend?â He asked and grinned.
âAnother knobhead,â you rolled your eyes. âI think Iâll ask for a free weekend, Iâm sick of the both of you,â you sighed and walked out of the room.
âWow, thank you very much,â Buck gave Bucky an unpleasant look.
âCome on, I canât interrupt you two but she can interrupt us whenever she wants? Itâs gotta be fair, man.â

donnie had. SO. much concept art lol. i really enjoyed the whole design process though. his base design is very difficult to work with because of the battleshell, but it gave me a lot of chances to get creative and i'm happy with the results :)
(also as a disclaimer so i don't get asked about this: i don't have motivation to finish raph or the wish art for donnie, so i'm just posting what i've got)
i didn't annotate these as much since there'd be a lot to write, but i'll write out some of my thought processes and go into some detail about his final design below the cut if you're interested! (it's long. i'm talkative đ)
1st row - first iteration; much more literal 1:1 translation of his design into a fantasy setting. very steampunk-y. ended up completely scrapping it because, simply put, he looked more like an npc than a playable character. obviously, several features did still carry over throughout the design process :3 also wanted to imagine his attack pattern cuz i thought it'd be fun to incorporate his spider arms.
this was actually the first design of any of them i'd come up with! i've definitely learned a lot about genshin's character design style since then and i think it shows đ
2nd row - playing around with the idea of a floating battleshell (rather than a backpack-like one in the the show & first version), inspired by nahida's cape. also hard light constructs/attachments. was leaning too into the sci-fi and rectangular motifs with the design, but i liked the idea.
3rd/4rth rows - concepts for his final outfit and shell designs (the colored/more-detailed pics are the more finalized ones). took a lot of inspiration from sumeru this time around. it's a lot sharper, shinier, and less rectangular than his og aesthetic, but i think it's more in-line with genshin's design philosophies.
5th row - not entirely sure why i went through all the trouble of making a 3d model for this. i mostly just thought it'd be fun and good for reference. i was right, but i don't know what to do with it now lol. can't be bothered to be a perfectionist about it though, so don't look too closely at it đ
6th row - incomplete thumbnails of his burst/wish art. not super sold on that "wing" design in particular, but i do like the idea of his shell splitting and deploying hard light weapons/rocket launchers/etc sort of like in canon.
battleshell/misc notes - i'm thinking his battleshell is controlled using the pink sensor on the back of his coat, possibly in combination with his headset. it floats behind him by default and is sturdy enough to protect his back, but he can also freely fly it around like a drone if he wants. the holes on the side are mainly for the spider arms and the banners(?) and handles(?) with the blue/pink gradient are made of hard light and only appear when the shell is in use.
i imagine like in the series, his tech here isn't necessarily very reliant on his vision/powers; much of it he likely made himself long before he received a vision and he just uses his vision to enhance it.
his burst is a barrage of missiles from his shell that lock onto an enemy and deal a large burst of electro damage in an AOE. not sure if i want his skill to be a deployable or some sort of electro-infusion/boost đ€ maybe something that involves deploying his shell to boost his damage while leaving him vulnerable, like a glass canon? though i'm not sure he'd be that sort of risk-taker... đ
dunno! his signature weapon would totally be his tech bo though.
that's about all i can think of. thanks for reading!

Ride
â Simon "Ghost" Riley x F!Reader
â Western AU: You have a run-in with notorious outlaw, Ghost.
Explicit sexual content under the cut. Read at your own risk.
Boisterous laughter and loud conversation made it difficult to hear John beside you, though you were hardly listening. You were too preoccupied with surveillance; scanning the crowd for a familiar face- or mask, more appropriately. It seemed most folks had let loose for the evening, but your eyes and ears remained sharp as you peered around the room.
Nightfall had come, cooling the hot sand of the desert and bringing with it the expectation of drunken patrons. Candelabras, oil lamps and a roaring fire tinged the saloon red and camouflaged the smell of cigar smoke. It was the usual for the small town, the only source of entertainment and drinks within a hundred-mile radius.
It'd been a while since you had the privilege of relaxing, even if you were still hyper-vigilant. Your exhaustion came from sleepless nights while on your travels. Unable to let your guard down under the stars, you'd hardly slept in the last few days. Sleeping on buffalo pelts and red dirt; your eyes were weary and tired, though there must've been a look of contemplation in your eyes.
"What's got you quiet?" John asked, leaning in closer. "Worried?"
You looked over at him; in all his drunken relaxation and exhaustion from the day's ride, he still read your expression with ease.
"Not worried," You shook your head once- unconvincingly. "Watching."
"Think you're waitin' for somethin' bad," He joked, elbowing you a bit harshly for your liking.
"Think you're a bit too drunk," You tossed back, watching him grin.
"Loosen up, kid," He scolded. "Only here for the night."
You were about to respond, when the saloon went dead-silent; the clinking of lost coins falling as patrons froze in their footsteps, the low shuffle of chairs while they searched for their pistols- likely dropped carelessly in a drunken stupor. The tune from the piano abruptly stopped, and all heads turned to the swinging parlour doors.
You lifted your gaze and there he was. Ghost.
Your jaw clenched, sitting up straight as you watched him slide in effortlessly, like he was unaware he'd stopped the world for a second. His boots hit the floorboards with heavy thuds, his spurs clanking and spinning with each step. You watched him tip his cowboy hat to the barkeep, who appeared no less than terrified.
"No trouble, alright? Hardly finished cleanin' up from last time," The barkeep said, stern yet wavering.
"No trouble," He nodded, taking a seat at the bar.
Most of the activity had resumed, though more than half of the townsfolk had escaped the moment he stepped inside. You didn't blame them; he was an intimidating man, and his stoic nature left questions and whispers at his back. You perched up further on your seat, eyes locked on the mass of muscle that made himself comfortable on the foolishly small stool.
"Ghost," John hardly whispered- disbelief, fear, a combination of both. It ran a shiver down your spine. "Never thought I'd see him here again."
You remained silent, studying the cowboy as he hunched over the bar and nursed his drink. He peered over his shoulder, finding your prying eyes and staring right back. You swallowed harshly, wondering if he recognized you. If he knew it was you, sitting mere feet from him.
Of course he knew it was you.
"Let's get out o' here before the shite hits," John swallowed the last of his beer, throwing his coat over his shoulders.
"I'll catch up," You nodded.
John was hesitant; he knew well you'd handle your own, stand your ground, but stray bullets have no name and he worried for your life. Ghost's reputation was not one of gentleness and kind deeds- he was an outlaw.
"C'mon," He ushered.
"I'm finishing my drink. I'll catch up, John," You insisted.
He finally conceded, pulling his arm through his sleeve before nodding curtly.
"I'll pay the barkeep and stablehand. I'll come lookin' if I don't see you in the mornin'."
You nodded in response, watching him stride past the masked man, head turned as he investigated. Finally, he disappeared from the saloon, leaving you to your own devices as you sipped your whisky. It wasn't without your appreciation- but unbeknownst to John, you knew Ghost better than anyone.
Your eyes drifted around the room, not noticing him stand from his stool and approach your table until you heard the spurs hit the floor. You lifted your head then, and watched as he pulled the chair out across from you to sit down.
His scent immediately washed over you- gunpowder and rolled cigarettes. The fresh smell of whisky emanated from his lips as he spoke through the black mask over his face. The deep, inviting accent made your body shiver- already planting arousal in your womb without any effort.
"You here on business?" He asked.
"Pleasure," You replied, finishing a gulp.
You feigned relaxation, letting your shoulders fall and your back hit the chair as you leaned further away. This was your game, your routine- you enjoyed the part you played, even if it took an astounding amount of willpower not to climb onto his lap.
"Seems you're in the right place," He said back, raising his head to look at you.
"Thought so," You added. "Wasn't sure when I didn't see your face plastered around town."
You watched the fabric of his mask move- a grin. You smiled softly, smugly.
"Reason for the mask," He responded. "Lucky few get to know my face."
You raised a brow.
"Colour me flattered."
"You interested in a ride, sweetheart?" He asked, thighs spread as he leaned back in his chair.
You swallowed again, this time finishing your drink. Your hand held your chin up as your eyes met his with a glimmer of sadistic enjoyment. He watched your hat tip, and you brushed a stray lock of hair from your face as he stood to his feet.
He lead you upstairs- a room he'd rented for the evening while in search of you. You'd met a handful of times, always finding each other in the chaos of the saloon and ending the evening in whatever bed was available.
Since then, he'd come to terms with the fact that he'd ride to the ends of the earth to find you. The laws he had to break hardly mattered, neither did the "wanted" posters or the townsfolk cowering in fear at his very appearance. None of it mattered as much as finding you. You left him chasing the very hint of you, the smallest pieces he could get his hands on just for the chance of relief.
He risked his freedom every time he strolled into town. It was common knowledge everywhere he went; his previous crimes still kept him labeled as a wanted man. He could've ridden off, started a new life under his true name, but you brought him back every damn time.
"Y'were hard to find," He muttered, his lips haphazardly pressed against your neck.
He'd corralled you against the wall while his fingers worked open the buttons on your breeches. He'd ditched his hat and mask, thrown recklessly on the floor as you danced around each other in an attempt to disrobe.
"Maybe I didn't want you to find me," You answered, your arm wrapping around his head as you pulled him closer.
"Doubt that," He answered as his calloused hand dove beneath your pants, and was welcomed with warmth and wetness. "You like knowin' I'll find you wherever you go, sweetheart."
You grinned, your ego slowly shattering as his fingers teased between your thighs. Warm, calloused fingers slid through your folds, eliciting a jolt when he purposely evaded your clit. You huffed softly, humming amusedly in his ear.
"Nowhere to hide from Ghost," You whispered in his ear, making him groan. "I think you like the chase."
"I do," He grinned against your neck. "But now that I've got you- there ain't nowhere left for you to run."
You shivered as he circled your clit, the softness in his touch a stark contrast to his other hand; an iron-like grip on your waist, keeping you pinned against the wall.
The room itself was quiet and dark, lit by only a few candles and the smell reminiscent of the fire roaring beneath you. You could hardly make out his face in the orange light, but your head turned to meet his gaze, and his lips upturned subtly.
He missed you; most everything about you. Truthfully, you weren't very hard to find. You left every possible clue and trace, in hopes he'd track you down. You never stood a chance against a man like Ghost, anyway. He could practically smell you from the town over.
His cock was pressed against your thigh, a sense of anticipation creeping up your spine. You grasped at his vest and work shirt as he slid two fingers inside you, lips against your neck again as he hid his soft grunts from you.
Long fingers stroked firmly inside you, his thumb caressing the bundle of nerves above. Your knees had weakened, pushing your hips against him in an effort to get closer- to get more.
"Ghost," You muttered softly, hands planted against his chest. He was still nipping and kissing at your neck, still driving his fingers into your pussy. "Get on the bed, cowboy," You said- firmer this time, and it caught his attention.
He pulled away slowly, withdrawing his fingers before placing them in his mouth and sucking softly.
"Beautiful," His lip twitched, removing his holster from his hips while he backed up.
You followed, shrugging off your blouse and stepping out of your breeches while he unbuttoned his work shirt.
Usually, Ghost wasn't one to allow a woman control, but the way you looked riding his cock was enough of an incentive to listen.
He collapsed on the bed, taking hold of your waist as you climbed on top of him, straddling his wide hips and setting your palms on his chest. His eyes were drawn to your chest, then your stomach, then your pussy, where he felt his cock rest between your folds and shifted your hips to feel the slick wetness seeping from your pussy.
"C'mon, then," He grunted, jerking his hips up to earn your attention. "Ride it, love."
You smirked- abiding his pestering by gently coaxing his cock inside you, a slow descent to fullness, earning an airy exhale as you found yourself seated on his hips.
He groaned, aggressive hands guiding your hips back and forth, up and down. He watched as your head fell back, toes curled beneath you while your hips strode forward.
"Ghost," You exhaled again, fingernails digging into the muscle and taught meat of his chest.
He sat up, his hand finding the small of your back, matching your rhythm with short thrusts. His other hand used heavy pressure against your clit, head tilted up while he watched your eyes squeeze shut with pleasure.
Your stomach twisted, pace increasing while you fell deeper and deeper, closing in on your orgasm with ambition. Your hips retreated, desperate to ease the over-stimulation and try to bring yourself back to present, before he tugged you closer and rammed his hips up into you.
"Don't run from me," He chided, eyes face-level with your bouncing tits, he brought one of your erect nipples to his mouth and sucked hard. "Take it, love."
You gasped, your body pushed over the boundary of stubbornness and finally allowing your orgasm to pass through your insides. Your entire body filled with heat, flushing red-hot blood through your womb as your pussy clenched around his cock.
"So good," You managed a whisper, jaw clenching before you sucked in a sharp breath to regain clarity.
"No cunt as good as yours," He grumbled, his hot tongue running across your breasts and circling your nipples. His fingers dug into your soft flesh, your body nearly crumbling in his hands. "Keep goin' sweetheart."
Your laboured breaths spurred him on, leaning against the wall as he sat up to finally kiss you, harsh lips enveloping yours. He sneaked his tongue inside your mouth, teeth nipping at your bottom lip.
"Y'want it in you?" He asked, nearly breathless.
You nodded, eyes glazed over and too exhausted to answer. He released inside you, muscles tensing and cock twitching as warm spurts of cum coated your walls.
You took a moment to catch your breath, before dismounting and collapsing next to him with a huff.
"You onto the next after this?" He asked.
"Gotta be," You tilted your head to smile softly at him. "Can't stick around for long- people get suspicious."
"Come with me," He said, less of a question and more of a suggestion.
"You wanna run away together?" You asked, grinning.
"I'd turn myself in 'for I let you get away again."
You let out a short chuckle, "Alright, outlaw. Get your rest- we're gone at dawn."

Could I request headcanons for Wyll, Rolan, and Zevlor react to being stuck in close proximity with gn crush?
Warnings: None!
Notes: These may be a little short/uneven, but these were so cute to write!! Anon, you've become such a prominent asker, that I'd love to give you a nickname of some sort, if you're comfortable with that! <3  My requests are currently open! My pinned post (found here) contains both a list of characters I write for, and a masterlist!  Original character list - please request for these too!
Wyll
Wyll is a gentleman about the whole situation - or at least he tries to be. He gives you as much space as he is able to, even though he's squishing himself into a corner, he's more than happy to do that so that you're comfortable.
He tries to keep up conversation with you, to try and distract from the somewhat uncomfortable situation; mostly mundane questions, like 'What's your favourite...' or 'Have you ever...' It's also partly to distract you from the fact that his cheeks are burning hotter than the hells. Who'd have thought it'd be easy to fluster the Blade of Frontiers, even if it were only slightly, by being so near to him?
He cannot take his eyes off of you. Not even for a moment. He tries, at first, but finds it astronomically difficult, and eventually just gives in. He loves gazing at you - your presence brings him such peace, even in such a compromising position such as this.
Once the two of you are found/make your way out of the confined space, Wyll apologises - even though it was not his fault - and offers to make it up to you at some point, by however you see fit.
Rolan
Rolan is entirely speechless. He cannot find the words to say anything to you, not even a half-handed snappy quip. His eyes rarely meet yours, and are rather more often aimed off to the side, or somewhere above your heads. It's... Quite awkward.
You try anything to break the silence between the two of you; "Can you move your leg, please, Rolan?" Followed by a quiet shuffle as Rolan tries to move a little bit further from you but still remain comfortable. It is of little use on either front, but he tries. Any question of "how are you feeling?" Or "You okay?" is met with either complete silence, or a quiet grunt of acknowledgement.
Rolan doesn't know what to do, he's never been in a situation like this before - much less a situation where he can't find the words to express himself. His heart is pounding against his ribcage, harder than he can recall it ever being in his life. He's entirely tense, and he has no idea what to do; his normal confident facade has completely crumbled away, leaving little besides anxiety, and a slightly fuzzy feeling in the pit of his stomach whenever you speak.
The first chance he gets after the pair of you can separate, he all but disappears from view - for several hours. You had wanted to talk to him about it, but couldn't find him anywhere. Eventually you do find him, but as soon as you bring up the situation, he turns his gaze from you; "I... Would rather not dwell on the situation... If it's all the same to you." He's just too flustered still to be able to process any of it.
Zevlor
Zevlor is constantly asking how you're feeling. "Are you sure you're well?" followed a few minutes later with, "Is there anything you need? ... Yes, I am aware I can't go and get anything, but I'm sure you understand the sentiment..."
He constantly asks you if you're alright, comfortable, etc. Neither of you know how long you're going to be stuck in this situation, so is completely understanding of the constant need to shuffle to keep your limbs from going dead. This being said, he'll always tell you if he's going to try and move himself, just so that he can try not to kick you, and you can brace yourself just in case of this outcome.
He tells you of his time in Elturel before it's descent into Avernus, his time as a Hellrider, all sorts. He finds it very easy to share things with you, since he's so sweet on you - it would usually take some probing for anyone to get that kind of information out of him. But, since he would like to establish more of a relationship with you, he's willing to part with some of it.
Once the two of you are out in the open again, Zevlor double checks that you're okay. "I would have hoped to have had some of those conversations in a more... Traditional way. But, I suppose, one cannot deny the deft hands of fate, hm?"
