the summer of mae

her lips press to mine and for the first time i feel truly whole. i open my eyes as we part, it’s the happiest i have felt all summer. i don’t need any reassurance of her feelings, the sparkling in her eyes and the small smile playing on her lips is all i need to see. “i love you.” i whisper in the dark of the grassy hill, knowing she is going to whisper the same words back. in those few moments i don’t feel the guilt or shame or fear that has been pressed into me my entire life. 

i only feel her and i only feel the love bursting through my chest. i feel like i am floating in the sky, hovering above it all watching this unfold. “i have always loved you.” she whispers back and it’s enough for us to become entangled in each other’s limbs as we lay on the cool grass, needing nothing more than the breath of each other on our dry, summer skin. 

this is the summer of mae and i will never forget it even when i’m old and shunned and fumbling through my life. she will leave a mark on me that will never be erased.

Playing Games the Reboot is a lesbian love triangle.

Young, immature, and in love Kenni demands what she wants from money, clothes, to her gf not hanging out with the shapely woman living in the adjacent apt. She said what she said or it can get real messy with things flying and insults hurling.

Arrogant and hot tempered Ronnie fell quick but to let that woman trash her apt, slap her and both of them are women she can't do it. That shapely neighbor looking nicer and nicer. Maybe an older woman is really what she needs.

Queen petty Shyna only wanted to chill with Ronnie. However, Ronnie's little girlfriend is disrespectful. So, guess what? Game on.

tuesday poetry

we always saved the poetry for tuesdays. it was our thing. we met on a tuesday in a book store in the aisle where the poetry lived. it was part of us to consume as much poetry as we could get our hands our. our newly shared apartment is filled to the ceiling with books and printed out self published pieces. i laugh as i pull my fingers through your dark hair. i never though i would love you. i never thought i would have the nerve to leave him for you. but then i did .and here we are falling even more in love every tuesday with our poetry, iced coffee and each other. this is all we ever needed.
