Hello. I’m not the best writer but the Franziska Von Karma brainrot is real, so…

This is out of character (at least a little bit) it's also really self indulgent 💀 I hope someone likes it though, I really like the Von Karma sibling dynamic, I wish we got more interactions between them.

"Miles." Franziska Von Karma entered her brother's room as if it was her own and sat on the foot of the bed, facing the desk.

"Yes, Franziska?" Miles looked up from the law book he was reading and swiveled his chair to face his sister. It was late and Manfred had retired to his room for the night, leaving Franziska and Miles to their studies.

"Do you ever... think about girls?"

The question was simple enough but it brought forth a thought that had been in the back of Miles' mind since elementary school. I am gay. He'd never told a soul, and he had no reason to believe Manfred Von Karma would even approve, but now he feared the prosecutor's daughter was catching on.

"What!? Why would you ask that?"

Franziska looks dissatisfied with this response but then again she usually looked like that. "You know..." she trailed off and squeezed her left upper arm in frustration. "Do you ever look at a girl and think wow, I like her lips ?"

Miles involuntarily grimaced at the thought, but then it occurred to him that Franziska wasn't trying to catch him, she was showing vulnerability and seeking guidance. "No, um not exactly..."

"What is that supposed to mean, Miles Edgeworth?" Franziska nearly spat the words. "I suppose you're too busy studying to be distracted by such trivial matters" she had turned away from him and he could see she was hurt.

"Look- Franziska, if you like girls, there's nothing wrong with that"

She turned to him and abruptly jumped up, "no, it's- why would I like girls?" She spun on her heel and headed towards the door, but Miles caught her shoulder.

"Listen to me," he spoke sternly, "you are the closest thing I have to family, I am here for you if you ever feel like you're father isn't"

Franziska looked at her brother, her grey-blue eyes full of turmoil. "But- a Von Karma is perfect, how can I be perfect if I'm a... if I- gnnaaagh" she growls and looks away. She turns to leave, all but stomping out, but she pauses before reaching the door "You're not to tell papa I said any of this" she says softly and returns to her own bedroom across the hall.

Told you Maya and Franziska were just a table over! These poor women aren't sure how much longer they can stand the scene happening next to them before one of them says SOMETHING. (Happy Women's pride month! XD)

(But in all honesty I had a lot of fun drawing the time-skip outfit design for Maya and had a little issue with figuring what to do for Franziska but I like how she came out! Might try a different hairstyle for her next time if I draw her again. Either way I'm so happy these two pieces come together! Next time I just need to plan this all at once because making a matching continuing piece took more figuring out than I thought...)

genuinely thought this was unfinished still, but nope! all done!! this one departs from my usual style, mainly cuz i used a much lower resolution and mspaint for the outlines, but i also used more cel shading than i normally do.

Yeah I get that Edgeworth and Maya are besties who obsess over the steel samurai but that leaves Phoenix and Franziska time to hang out and you cannot tell me that they wouldn’t be a terrifying duo. They both get hurt in a way that would kill a lesser person and just end up at the courthouse like two days later to save the day running purely on spite and righteous fury. If their goals align they would be unstoppable and I am so serious. They meet up while their spouses are occupied with samurai con to go to the renaissance fair and immediately solve the murder at the renaissance fair.

I need disbarment era Phoenix weirdgirling all over Franziska’s interpol level crime scene. I think he should give her some weed to see if that would make the viewing experience of the steel samurai and other related franchises slightly more enjoyable. I think she needs some guy who can kick down doors to drag around when she doesn’t have Gumshoe access. She bullies him relentlessly and he’s just enjoying the nostalgia of it all.
