When I invited @chefchrismcd over for a casual dinner, I should have realized that “casual” and “dinner” don’t belong together! Fino #sherry and pichos... white anchovies with spicy cauliflower, funghi tartufafo, pulled pork tortillas, olives and anchovies, smoked salmon crustinis with a bit of #leroy Montagny. And those were just the apps!! Mains were simple... I mean SIMPLY delicious @bespokebutchers grass fed steak with an intensely reduced porcini and sherry demi-glaze, and sautéed spinach as the side. Did I mention the 2007 @leragnaie #brunello? Needless to say, we ate well!! I have never worked a day in a kitchen, but I think I did ok.
