Immediately barging in to spread my wither Skizz propaganda (and probably some robot Tango later but wither Skizz has been more on my mind recently) hi!! Skizz has ancestry that's of the same race that went extinct and became wither skeletons. When Withers chased the Legacy SMP crew to season 2, they tried to pull in any allies along the way, and Skizz got pulled along for the ride... so now he's a wither skeleton hybrid. He has black marks that show and fade with emotion (he's learning to control them), some wither powers he hardly ever uses b/c he still doesn't like it much, and I mean. how else do you wanna explain the death maze lol.

it's part of his personal hierarchy of needs to make a torture dimension every now and then

My first art piece I made for @mcytblraufest !! Mer/diver AU Etho and Bdubs! Some inspiration came from Dave the Diver as I'd been playing that when I drew this back in May, but yeah, this was super fun!

I am insanely happy with how this piece turned out. The lighting and shading especially was a challenge and I was a little worried I'd bitten off more than I could chew with it, but I am so happy with how it all looks!

The amazing @leopardmask-ao3 and @gaylotusthatexists were paired with me to write fics based on this art, so you better keep an eye out for those! Everything I've seen so far has been great! (And I will reblog their fics when they're posted too!)

He looked up to see Wels satisfiedly chewing, the diamond pop held outside his mouth, with a clear bite having been taken from the diamond. "Umm." Wels swallowed the bite he had taken and casually stuck the rest in his mouth again. "Takes a while to soften enough to-" He registered Scar's look of confusion. "Ohhh, right, you have no idea what I'm talking about, do you? You can't... well. Anyway. Thanks again, Scar! I'll see you around."

Ender Etho. I feel like this one used to be a lot more common than it is now for some reason? Anyway. Gives off tall-gangly vibes, preferred method of transport/getting into tight spaces is teleportation. The mask hides an enderman-like mouth, and he's half human so he's *okay* with water but still wears a lot of layers against it just because. Also his eyes shine in the dark like a cat's.

(The white hair is also an ender thing to me but I'm trying not to word-dump the entire details of every headcanon I have onto this blog b/c that's not what this blog is for 😅)

(i don't mean this as an insult btw!) cats' eyes reflect rather than glow, so im just imagining his headlights died or something /silly

im deeply normal so im just thinkin ab the fact scar killed him in the life series in water twice... salt on the wound

What's the most <superlative> bat that you think should be talked about more? e.g. a lot of people know about smallest/biggest bat and everyone has opinions on ugliest/cutest but what's a new superlative to talk about? Alternately, what's YOUR opinion on ugliest/cutest that might not be The Bat Everyone Knows?

I would like to share some silly bats i think. the silliest bats. that is my superlative. Here, take the Eastern Tube Nosed Bat.

horrendous. fantastic. why do they look like that.

they have some beautiful yellow spotting though. VERY cool.

There's also the hammerhead bat which is infamous because they look like this

but i bring them up because its just the males that look like that. The females look normal.

I think its really fucking funny that these guys have a 50/50 chance to be born and just look really fucking silly their whole lives.

As for the ugly/cute bats, I have a lot of opinions! The first being, yes, a lot of bats are ugly as sin. But that is a plus in my eyes. The uglier the better I say, even if they kind of look like they've been chewed on. An ugly bat is a marvel of evolution, the flaps largley being for hearing real good. That being said. here's an ugly fucker.

As for cute bats. Well we all know about flying foxes. yeah they're really cute and pleasent looking animals. we all know this. Same goes for most fruit bats honestly. So here.

i also need to shoutout my favourite bat, the Common Pipistrelle. Insectivores have a reputation for being the ugly ones but its just not true!!! they're cute as hell! they're just little guys!!

I'm also a 'vampire bats are cute' truther. Look at it!!!!! They're also so fucking cool. because of how they hunt they have so many unique adaptations. They can walk and gallop alongthe ground, something most bats really struggle to do. They can take off from the ground, launching themselves in a mechanism thought to be similar to the one pterosaurs used. They are such fascinating animals! Go watch a video of one wandering around. In fact I have one for you. A personal favourite (cw for blood because it is a captive bat having a little drink out of a bowl). look at the way it moves! Its cautious little sidestep!! Bats, especially vampire bats, are demonised as monsters who'll give you horrid diseases because they're evil but that just isn't true. they're animals. they do not bite you out of spite. they don't even know what a disease is. all they know is 'drink blood' and 'hang out with bat friends in cave'.

Today I drew Black-tipped shark mer Hypno! From the series of fics Mermits!

While drawing this I ended brainroting and read the entire series again! Highly recommend it!

Anyway this is @raccoontho @crazycatfics and @leopardmask-ao3 Hypno! I truly love all their works and its always a delight to read their stuff!
