- I always think of the blazer swap art. Ada ends up getting like a huge burst of confidence and totally pins Lenore to the wall. It works, she’s shocked. And flustered.

- Ada complains that Lenore needs to take better care of her hair. So Lenore just kinda takes it out of the ponytail and lets Ada do what she wants.

“Why is it cut so uneven? Did you just hack at it with a pair of scissors or something?”

“Yes.”

“WHY?”

- Lenore starts realizing just how obvious Ada’s internal plight is once they get closer. Her envy is so obvious. The way she looks at her reflection through the window and shrivels just a little. She is far more complicated than she wants to show.

- Ada asks her to redo that braid in her hair from ring the bell. Like a lot.

- Ada is kinda head over heels. Just a smirk from Lenore has her red in the face.

- Ada had a sexuality crisis for a while because of Lenore.

- Lenore is not spared from the ‘Ada clinging to your arm’ nonsense. She uses this to her advantage and purposely trips her so she can catch her by the back and be all hot.

- Ada notices that Lenore plays air piano sometimes. Just kinda moves her fingers around in a way that looks like she’s pressing keys. She begs to hear her play if they can ever find a piano.

- Lenore is romantic. She reminds Ada how much she loves her with kisses all over the face.

As addition to Lenada, I think both Ada and Lenore are touch starved. Like they hug a lot.

I have a headcanon that Ada has like really abusive father. So even before relationship in modern Au she would run away from home and Lenore only person who lets her in. Bonus if she would treat Ada's (possible) bruises.

Cool ass headcanon tho omg. in my modern au she meets annabel + everyone else after through being hospitalized by her previous bf, who was VERY abusive. so imagine she has a fucked up abusive dad and she is just kinda conditioned into thinking thats love. so she searches for it in her relationships too. touch starved ada is one of my favorite things ever. she is so tragic but she isnt stupid. she knows she goes after people that are terrible. she knows she herself isn't great either. but she wants to exist the way she already is and to exist with others on her level. there is so much here.
