Ya'll how can you not love this man? How can he not inspire you? He went from being a boyband idol to losing it all to making the comeback of comebacks. He doesn't take anything or anyone for granted and does nothing but motivate and help those around him get better not just in their craft but in life.

This man improved Korean hip-hop by breathing life into a scene no one in or out of Asia took seriously (shout out to the pioneers that came before him too though) and brought it to the masses outside of the country and Asia, constantly spreading goodness and positivity, yet still remaining open, humble and kind. The man has been on, created, produced and promoted countless TV shows for the genre and culture, even SNL Korea as a host and cast member. Did I mention he's the first Asian artist signed to Roc Nation?

The man is CEO of 2 record labels, owns 4 businesses, formally owned a restaurant, created his own hip-hop competition show, buys out artists from other labels to join his (Loco), 5 albums (not including 2pm), 1 mixtape, 8 mini albums, 4 EPs and still finds time to take a breath.

Nothing but love & respect for you man.

I was initially planning on being a casual fan, but then I thought, why not just let it consume my soul instead? 

I spent HOURS lastnight and the last few days Watchung his videos. I followed cause I thought he was super fine but fell for the sass and stayed for the anime and dancing. He and I have quite a lot in common.....so as my inner PI went to work and found his birthday. He's a Scorpio like me......and 25.

He has a degree in finance which is great for him, disheartening heartening for me. There was a whole therapy session about this.

He also lives in a different country.

I've also never gotten the guy I wanted so even if we met, hit it off and got along great....I'd keep myself in the friend category.

Even if it meant I'd have to witness him dating other women. And break my own heart.

And my "him" I mean men in general.

Just finished rewatching the GRAY episode of Hoody's Fine Dining and I want to reiterate that GRAY is STILL so fine it makes me furious......straight up yummy and His parents raised him right.

Harry Potter is overrated. It doesn't totally suck but it's been blown way out of proportion. I know, I was at the right age when the first movie came out, and I admit I read the first two books and saw the first movie in theaters (this was day 1 before she spewed her hate) but I never got into it. I was way to advanced for YA books and I still hate them.

I never understood the over-merchandising, the "which house are you?", the hype surrounding a new release etc.

Lord knows I've had things that I indulge in when I'm sad/depressed, in books, black butler for sure. And I understand if its something that brings you that but overall, why?

I hate hate hate the movies. I only watched them to get an overview of Voldemort and it wasn't worth it. I got more out of the fandom.wikimedia page. I adore ralph fiennes but it wasn't worth it. He only shows up at the end and everything before is just boring and drags on. The Goblet of Fire is agonizing. Who cares about the hormones, who's crushing on who, I'm here for the "epic battle" between Harry and Voldemort. Blessed be the soul that posted them on YouTube cause I can't.

I needed a more in depth look at Voldemort, (another Wikimedia reference here) Ralph did a great job with the shitty scripts he was given but to see such an amazing actor reduce himself to such a level is disheartening.

I'm all for people having their own opinions and beliefs but if JK hasn't been taken off her high horse already, she won't be unless we Fahrenheiht 451 ALL her work. And that's not gonna happen.

there's something truly miserable about JK Rowling being, at this point, the most prominent public figure associated with a hate movement but facing effectively no consequences for it because it's an issue that only a small fraction of the population is passionate about.

Like it's one thing if you have someone who's said or done some "problematic" things in the past. It's one thing for a media figure to be beloved by annoying MAGA chuds but despised by anyone even a hint left of center. It's one thing to consume art from someone who was a monsterous bigot in their lifetime but has long since passed.

But with Harry Potter it's just.... nothing. There's not even a conversation to be had. Aside from people who are online enough to care, everyone else just carries on as before. There is no cancelation to come back from, there is no smaller audience the work is restricted to, there is nothing to contend with unless you're friends with a specific kind of person. I still see people on dating apps who put BLM or ACAB or some other progressive slogan in their bios, but list Harry Potter as their favorite books. There is no shame in this. They see no contradiction because to them it is a non-issue.

Rowling is the face of a hate movement and most people who like her work don't even realize it. They don't have to realize it. And if they did, they probably wouldn't understand why what she's saying or doing is wrong.

I think about this every time I see new Harry Potter media coming out. Society does not care enough about people like me to even question if the people who hate us should face consequences for it.
