Krory (kinda Cross, too)brainrot all of a sudden

(i wrote this as I think and as I remember things and as I double check facts for my ideas so apologies for a messy writing ahead)

I don't really know how it works but it appears if a general finds you, a host, you'll become their disciple....? (Mainly referencing Daisya and Allen. Altho Allen is a special case). While if fellow average exorcist finds you, you get assigned to someone (Timothy situation). The Bookmen duo clearly do not need one but how about Miranda? Too adult to need be assigned to one..? And Lenalee's master apparently d*ed before the start of the story (read it in either a poorly translated Gray Log or in some Komui's Discussion Room Vol., can't remember)

So when you think about it, Krory III could have been Cross' disciple XD. I cant really remember (and i dont wanna do math) how old Krory III was when Cross first stopped by the Baron Castle but since we see Allen taking care of Rosanne (the flower containing Krory III innocence), it's either he had the flower after he found Allen or the flower was with him for much longer than that and just dump the gardening to Allen cuz it's a pain 🤣🤣

I was thinking at first that the first time Cross went to the Castle as we saw in the story was when he took possession of Rosanne but I just realized that's when he left the flower to Krory III and then he synced with it after a while. We never really saw or was ever shown how Cross knew who Rosanne's host is, but Cross clearly went to that village to drop the innocence off to someone specific. As the Mayor said, he met him already asking for directions to the Castle then immediately went there and stayed there for three days!! (I just see Cross ripping off of his potential disciple and finally borrowing money before he left 🤣🤣🤣). Although I'm not really sure why he stayed for 3 days...? I think Krory Senior was d*ad already around that time or maybe not? But I think Allen was already his disciple when he drop the flower to the Castle xksmdor im talking in circles, my bad.

But yeah, I'm still kinda considering Krory III as Cross' potential disciple and how cute that Allen picked him up to become an official exorcist hahaha. In this scenario, Allen is the senpai in discipleship and he's taking care of his kohai 🤣🤣🤣 would be funny if they both traveled with Cross and took turns in paying for the invoices. Krory III is rich tho hahaha but yeah, he did blasted everything away before leaving the Castle (what a waste huhu)

I'm still bothered by how Cross knew where to go immediately. Makes me think he met the Krory household way back and was requested to keep the innocence until a certain time. One could argue that he investigated and only ran to the Mayor when he reached a conclusion to the investigations. Makes sense right??

But again we saw Allen taking care of Rosanne. During the Mayor's account and based on Allen's reaction, Allen wasn't with Cross during that time of the visit. And Rosanne, a man(?)-eating flower, is kinda a rare thing and we only see those from the Castle. And Krory III mentioned that Cross borrowed the flower from Krory Senior a while back? When was it borrowed? Why didn't they take Krory III immediately to become an exorcist? Was he too young? Did the innocence needed time to ripen or something...?

My head canon is (1)that there's an age limit for discipleship so Cross waited for that cuz he got no time for a disciple lmao he had no choice with Allen tho. Or (2) Krory Senior wanted a peaceful time with his grandkid and asked that Krory III be taken after he died. It could also be because they're kinda ostracized as a vampire kin so he wanted comrades for his grandkid once he's gone, his only relative.

But why are they the only Krorys that are left? Or is it that there are other Krorys in other places like, branch families? This could be put down as a "it is what it is" "the family was just like that" "all families can go extinct one day"... but in DGM??? are we sure? Their bloodline could be just rare to begin with but what if that's not the case?

This is such a stretch even for me but my brain is making me say this nonetheless. Because Krory III clearly has to have parents! Where are they??? Where is Krory II? and his wife? Why no mention of them at all? As if anything about them is to be buried down a secret forever. Not even Krory III mentioned them, probably no memory of them but whatever, i feel like they could have dropped at least a bit of info about them. But it just feels like they were purposely not being mentioned, not even to their son. Why did they disappear? Were they connected to someone?

I'm so random that this guy suddenly came to mind:

I know, I know, the tent clearly shows oriental design, hence whoever is inside must have oriental origins. But maybe, the oriental motifs are just there because whatever technology/medication/craft that's keeping them alive is of oriental origin..?

and i know, i know... it's an "elderly" witness. But it does not mean that it's one of III's parents. If they were ever attacked or something, someone else from their group could have survived or maybe this person survived because someone else protected/sacrificed for them.

OH WELL ahahahaha this part about the witness can be ignored ngl... it's the farthest stretch ever. But it crossed my mind and this is my blog so I just dropped it HAHAHA

It's just, at this point, anyone connected or are friends with Cross is sus lol and Krory, Sr. was one of them i guess... if their friendship was more than a general discovering a host among their family. :))

Update (Feb 7): As much as I want to consider Krory as Cross' disciple, the wiki mentioned that Krory and Miranda are in Socalo unit, which kinda means they are his disciples. I dont remember this ever being mentioned in the manga tho... I need thorough rereading hahaha

Still not sure if that means they get assigned by default or they just got assigned to someone because Cross is basically not available in more ways than one. When you think about it, Miranda kinda has the same case as Krory. Lenalee's master already expired when they found her and if we connect by whose disciple is present, she could have joined Allen in Cross unit, too (like in general, both were in Cross unit during the search but just because they need the manpower for it).

Miranda: A good-for-nothing clock, kicked to the curb. Miranda: I somehow felt as though I were looking at myself.

Pangu is a Chinese creation god whose voice became the thunder after he died. My old Viz hard-copy translated this as "Punk Voice", one of the many bizarre "official" choices that motivated me to try my own hand at translation. [ ♠ ]

Sooo you know how the marshals are known to carry stashes of Innocence around and leave them with potential Accommodators? Like Cross did when he hid one in that rare plant for Krory? They drop off Innocence in likely-looking spots and move on before the Earl's forces catch up, but may not necessarily inform HQ that they've done so, perhaps because the lines of communication aren't sufficiently secure.

So, looking at the antique shop owner... Tiedoll, is that you??

The town didn't start rewinding until some time after Miranda bought the clock, so he could easily have moved on before it locked down. He has less facial hair here than he does when he officially meet him later on, but the hair, glasses, soft-frump outfit, and that right-hand-behind-head mannerism are all there, not even accounting for how Hoshino's art may have changed between this point and his formal introduction. I can't unsee it.

DGM Tag Game #2

🌻 If DGM could have a crossover with any series, which one would you want it to be? Pokémon! I had to think so much for the next question that I started thinking such crossover would be really great???

🌻 Create a Pokémon team for your favorite character I raided the Bulbapedia for ¿¿¿2 hours??? and annoyed the hell out of @shiroganeryo (thank you for the help!!) and came up with a team for Miranda! <3 Am I'm!!! excited to explain each pick because I feel clever for once! :3c

Dialga: I can easily see Miranda befriending a legendary because she's just really gentle. Dialga controls time so it's a reference to Time Record's powers! I wanted to pick Celebi but the Pokédex entry says that time flows with each heartbeat of Dialga and that seemed so fitting with Miranda's connection to her clock!! Banette: A doll that was thrown away and which loneliness caused it to become cursed. Miranda used to salvage stuffed animals from the trash to fix them and I feel like she would see herself in a lonely Pokémon like this. The Pokédex says that if they get love, they'll forget about revenge! <333 Mimikyu: Similar reason as above! Mimikyu is lonely and just wants to be loved. When its rag is torn, it cries itself into fixing it because it can't do a proper job. I thought this resonates with Miranda and her low self-esteem a lot... Sinistea: Another into the list of lonely Pokémon. Hoshino associates Miranda's colors with coffee so I thought this one was a nice pick! Its form is Phony. Miranda would probably relate to it being considered "inferior" and grow attached and pick it up... Audino: A selfless and caring helper! Just like Miranda, it does its best to heal and help others even though it has the Klutz ability. Meowth: Miranda is unlucky but her last name means "lottery"!! It's inspired in a maneki neko, statues that bring good fortune.

🌻 What Hogwarts house do you think the main four (Allen, Kanda, Lavi, and Lenalee) are in? I'm actually a Harry Potter noob ^^' I only watched half of the movies so I'm sorry if I talk nonsense. But I think it would be: Allen - Gryffindor (courageous, almost died so many times lolol) Kanda - Slytherin (goal-oriented, "that one person") Lavi - Hufflepuff (could be Ravenclaw but I feel like this suits him) Lenalee - Hufflepuff (loyal and caring but no pushover)

Top ships: TBH my list is impossibly large so I’ll name my top 5 from 5 different series or we’ll be here forever. (also I’ll write the rest under the cut cos otp talk gets long for me.)

DGM- I’m a big fan of Kanda/Alma/Allen as a ot3, Pokerpair, Pieshipping, the fandoms obvious main ship being Yullen, and good ol’ LaviYu. Pretty gay but there’s not a lotta ladies in this series :( I mean back when I was a Young Teen I had a big thing for shipping Road and Lenalee for some reason??? Died out as I got older because there was no content for it and there really wasn’t much in the way of good canon interaction so it didn’t make much sense to me over time. Guess my young dumb gay brain thought ‘ooh i love these girls so maybe they should love each other’. Also I have no idea why but in 6th grade/ year 7 my 2 biggest ships were for god knows what fucking reason, but they were Bak Chan / Allen and then Jasdevi / Krory?????????????? Dunno what 12 year old me was thinking, having actually written fics for these pairings somewhere out there on ff . net. 

Fairy Tail: Top 5 in Fairy Tail is pretty simple for me. I love some MidCo, Jerza, LoLu, Fraxus, I love Lucy/Juvia but idk the ship name for them?? This was hard to choose because I have a big love for GaLe and Gajeel/Natsu and so many others but like?? People shit on Fairy Tail and it’s honestly one of the best series if you get past the first season. 

Naruto: OroKabu will always rank #1 for me in this series. Followed by ItaNaru, SakuHina, ItaDei, KisaIta. Easy list. I have a godawful amount of ships from this series but naming my faves are easy goddamn peasy. 

Bleach: GrimmUlqui! #1 all the time. Then Szayel/Nnoitra, Nnoitra/Tesla, HichiIchi, and then last but not least, UlquiHime. I was tempted to switch out Nnoiszay with RukiHime but my love for Nnoitra coupled with my old kinning of Szayel overtook my love of Orihime and Rukia. 

for my last ‘fandom’ I’ll just whack down some miscellaneous ships from diff series. 1- FrostIron, Marvel. 2- David/Michael, The Lost Boys. 3- HisoIllu, HxH. 4-Graves/Newt, FBAWTFT. 5- Maria/Mary, Bloody Mary.
